"Oh my god! He did that?!" "Yeah! I still can't believe it either! This was also his first time!" "Wow, I feel really bad for the other guy," Molly said with a small chuckle. "So do I, but he deserved it. Now, he's learned his lesson not to mess with Nonny or Oona." Gil said with a smile. They were both talking about how Nonny had his first fight at middle school with a guy bullying Oona. Gil was there to record the whole thing along with Goby and the other boys. Luckily, Nonny wasn't expelled. He only got 2 weeks of suspension due to being VERY violent, but he then controlled himself afterward. Suddenly, the doorbell rang at the front door. "Who could that be?" Gil said.
"Blake, you're here!" Mrs. Gordon exclaimed. Blake? Who is this Blake? Gil thought. "Hey, Bella! Thanks for bringing me over. It's really cold out there." The man replied. "Of course!" Gil wasn't sure what was going on. He didn't know what to feel or say. "Oh, and this is my son, Gil! Gil, this is Blake! My co-worker!" Bella (Mrs. Gordon) said with a smile. "Hey, Gil! Nice to meet you!" Blake said reaching his hand out with a smile. "Nice...to meet you too..." Gil said with a look of suspicion and disgust while shaking his hand. "Sorry, Gil! I have to go! I'll see you tomorrow afternoon, okay?" Molly whispered. All Gil did was nod. As she left, it was just him, Bella, and this strange man. "Honey, would you be so kind and fix the table before dinner?" Bella said. "Sure, I guess," Gil replied annoyed.
During Dinner*
While Bella and Blake were having a conversation about themselves and other things, Gil just sat there in silence. It wasn't jealousy he felt, he just felt uncomfortable that his mother let a random man who appears to be her "friend," in their own house. "So, Gil. Your mother has told me a lot about you. You like music as well?" Blake asked. "Yeah and sports." He replied quietly. "Oh, cool! Maybe one of these days we can practice soccer or baseball or other kinds of sports!" "Yeah, maybe." Gil scoffed without him noticing. Bella noticed as she was drinking wine, but she decided to ignore it and pretend she didn't see it happen. Blake groaned, "Duty calls. I have to do my night shift again. Thanks for the food, Bella." "Of course! Have a good night!" She smiled. "Oh, and it was nice to meet you, Gil!" All Gil did was smile just to pretend he liked him. As the mother closed the door, she looked back at Gil. Gil crossed his arms and looked at her.
"Who was that?" He said. "I told you Blake is my co-worker. He's a friend from work." She replied. "Right, a 'friend.'" "What's up with you, young man? What's with the attitude?" Bella replied with a serious look on her face. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe because you're hiding something that I should know about!" Gil yelled. "Don't raise your voice at me, Gil! And don't be making assumptions about me! You know well!" "Ugh, I can't take this sh*t.." He then went to his room and slammed his door. He didn't want to talk to his mom at all. He knew she was hiding something and he knew exactly what it was, but he wasn't sure yet. He didn't want to believe it at all.
Sorry that these stories are short, but I'm not the kind of person who makes VERY long chapters sometimes and it's very hard to come up with ideas to entertain you all. Other than that, I hope you enjoyed. I forgot to add that the other chapter was short sorry-
