October 1st - 01:45:00, while Soap is getting ready, Price, Yuri, Nikolai and Rook are hard at work gathering intel on Shepherd's connection with Makarov, the Russian's next move and whereabouts. This involves the team disabling a Russian Navy Slava Class Cruiser with an EMP device, courtesy of the Russian Loyalist PMC.

Then infiltrating the place it was protecting, the Ultranationalists' HQ in Ukraine. There, they find key intel of Makarov's ties, his group's roots and future plans.

All of this would not be possible if Yuri was not with them, as he was the one who pointed Task Force 141 and RL PMC to the ship and base, which Rook will plan to share with UKSF (United Kingdom Special Forces), recommended by Price. While copying and pasting the intel caches and databases, Price gets fixated and Rook gets concerned.

Rook: Look at this. Their roots go way back to the early days of the Cold War. When the Soviets started recruiting Nazi scientists to create weapons of mass destruction and to win the Space Race. All originated from these three names: Dragovich, Kravchenko and Steiner.

Price: Less talking, more gathering. Come on. We don't have all day.

Rook: Nikolai, think that Price might be getting ahead of himself? Like, look at him.

Nikolai: I do not know. And I think it is best to leave him be.

Rook: Maybe. I guess I just wanna know what's the endgame of this hunt.

While returning to base, Price and Rook finally start asking questions.

Price: Rook. Since you've been talking much. What does the intel say?

Rook: Well, with President Vorshevsky planning to make peace talks with America, Makarov wants to make sure that doesn't happen. He's gonna take the man while en route to Hamburg.

Price: How?

Rook: First will be standard infiltration and hijacking tactics before the take off of the delegation's plane, the Ilyushin IL-96-300PU, callsign: 'Command Point'. Then they'll get help from an inside man in the F.S.O.: Lietuenant Colonel Andrei Harkov (Agent Andrei Harkov in the original). But there's something else.

Price: What?

Rook: Makarov's got backups, contingencies and emergencies all over it. First thing he and his men need to be aware of is Harkov. The lieutenant colonel's family has close ties to the Ultranationalists. But he himself is reluctant. He never asked to be involved in that mess. He just wants to serve his country and—

Price: Irrelevant.

Rook: Sir?

Price: So what if he's reluctant? This is Makarov's intel.

Seeing the staff sergeant's naivete, Price shows his new jaded side and starts sharing his two cents.

Price: They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true?

Rook: Captain, we...

Nikolai: Australian, don't.

Price: Truth is just a matter of perspective.

Rook: I knew it.

Nikolai: Rook.

Price: The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil - that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale.

Rook: If you think good and evil is a lie, why make the distinction that the people we protect are innocent? Shouldn't your point be about the "Nothing is true and everything is permitted." belief?

Nikolai: Rook!

Rook: I get it. Shepherd taking our freedom away fucked you up bad. But we can't just give up hope. You know what? I'm gonna say it. You put Makarov in my line of sight, party's over. We're all going home.

Price: You don't know if we'll live after killing him.

Rook: You don't know if we'll all die either.

Price: NO ONE IS GOING HOME! Christ's sake, Staff Sergeant! Get your head out of your arse! Even if we give them proof of Shepherd's betrayal, no one will believe us! Which is why we might as well sacrifice ourselves to kill him!

Rook: What if we do something real good. That will benefit the world. They might listen to us. We got proof of connection between Makarov and Shepherd, Price.

Price: You want to get Makarov or not?! Because if you don't, you can leave and get arrested you useless wanker! And that's captain or sir to you!

Rook: Oh, you couldn't drag me away from this. Because I got friends, brothers, Australian and otherwise, who's dead because of Shepherd and Makarov. But I'm also real worried on how we're going to define suicide and sacrifice. Because I know our friends wouldn't want us to die either, especially if there's a way to right the wrongs Shepherd gave to the world.

Price: Oh, come on.

Rook: Alright, how naive do you think I am?! If sacrifice wants me, I'm ready for it! But why go looking for it for all of us?! Huh?! Huh?! HUH?!

Nikolai: ROOK!

Rook turns slowly and coldly at Nikolai. But then rolls his eyes and reverts his attention to the more important matter.

Rook: Fine. If you all want to die in a suicide run to get Makarov, be my guest. But none of you, will pull me into it! With the intel we have, I'll find my own way home after we nail the arsehole!

Price: *sighs* The only truth I've found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes is someone to light the match.

Seeing no way to get his point through to Price, Rook calms down, tells him that he will regret his decisions one day, and doesn't waste his breath anymore. With tensions cooling down, Nikolai sighs in relief.

Two days later, Command Point is airborne, and everyone's plans are in motion. Two hours away from Hamburg, Colonel Leonid Pudovkin (Commander Leonid Pudovkin in the original) checks in with all security teams.

Col. Pudovkin: All teams report in.

Lt. Col. Harkov: Team 1. The President's office is secure.

Team 2 Captain: Team 2. Lower deck is clear.

Team 3 Captain: Team 3. Forward cabin is secure.

Team 4 Captain: Team 4. Back cabin is secure.

Col. Puduvkin: We land in Hamburg in two hours. Team 1, remain with the President until touchdown.

Lt. Col. Harkov: Roger that.

October 3rd, 2016

Lt. Col. Andrei Harkov

F.S.O. Presidential Security Service

Ilyushin IL-96-300PU - 'Command Point'

President Boris Vorshevsky greets Harkov (voiced and played by Scott Adkins) and Major Anton Federov (Sgt. Anton Federov in the original), and leaves his office to talk with his delegation.

President Vorshevsky: Lieutenant Colonel. Major.

Harkov: Mr. President.

Maj. Federov: Mr. President.

Before that, he is greeted by his daughter: Alena Vorshevsky. Then they walk together.

Harkov: Your turn.

Federov: *nods* Team 1 moving with the President.

Pudovkin: Roger.

Alena shares her dislike of the Prime Minister of Russia: Vasili Zhukov. Her father assures her that it is part of the job, and says the PM will get his once he tells the truth about Russia's next move in the Russo-American War.

Four members of Team 1 will stay behind to secure the back of the conference room. While Harkov and Federov join Pudovkin and Team 2 inside, protecting President Vorshevsky.

Half of the delegation agrees with the President to make peace with America so that they can destroy them from the inside. While the other half contradicts with the proposition and agrees with the Prime Minister to launch a counter-offensive. But political disagreements will be the least of their concerns.

banging sounds*

Pudovkin: That's gunfire.

Team 3 Captain: Hijackers are taking the plane! The cockpit crew are in on it!

Harkov: *quietly* Shit. Shit.

As Makarov's Inner Circle forces cut through Team 3 and get closer, the F.S.O. hunker down. While Harkov is thinking of where his loyalty lies.

The moment of truth comes with gunshots killing an agent protecting the conference room's front door and three flashbangs. Armed with a Glock 19, Harkov makes his move while disoriented.

bang bang*

bang bang bang*

bang*

Harkov kills his supposed allies and saves the stunned Pudovkin, Federov, Team 2 and delegation. Confirming his choice to not cave in to Makarov's pressure.

Harkov: *quietly* Fuck Makarov. And fuck your Ultranationalist pigs.

Pudovkin: We're taking the President to the safe room! Harkov! Federov! We're on point!

Harkov: Moving!

Federov: On you, Harkov!

Once the Ultranationalists see Harkov not cooperating, they tell the pilots to level the playing field. Ironically, the crew start flying erratically, but this did not stop Harkov, Pudovkin (armed with an MP-433 Grach) and Federov (armed with a GSh-18) from clearing the upper front cabin.

Pudovkin orders Team 2 to take the cockpit from the inside men, while he takes Harkov, Federov, President Vorshevsky and Team 1 to the safe room and save Alena captured in the cargo bay along the way. There, the security team fights in rigorous close quarters with the Inner Circle forces with pistols and seized knives.

Pudovkin: Keep pushing forward, Harkov!

As Harkov takes point and pushes through, he saves Alena from an enemy operator who had her in a headlock.

Harkov: On me! Eyes on the daughter!

Alena: Help me! *screams*

Inner Circle Operator: Get—YOU?! Makarov should have KI—

Harkov shoots and kills the operator*

Harkov: All clear! Daughter secure!

With the two most critical VIPs secure at the moment, Harkov and Federov lead the way to the safe room.

Pudovkin: We need to move the President to the safe room, now! Harkov, Federov, move up!

Federov: Ready?!

Harkov: I go left! You go right!

Team 2 Captain: Cockpit secure! Controls are shot! Attempting emergency landing!

Federov: Go!

Harkov: Shit! Colonel, safe room is overrun! Clearing—

Team 2 Captain: Brace for impact!

Federov: We're gonna hit! Hold on, Harkov!

The plane crashes and comes apart. While Harkov shoots at the hijackers, he sees Federov dazed and about to fall, so he drops what he was doing and tries to save him.

Harkov: Grab me with your other hand!

Federov: I can't! It's—*screams*

Harkov: Nooo!

Now Harkov has to survive on his own until the crash stops. That is when a jet engine bears for the cabin and crashes, possibly killing the lieutenant colonel and those behind him.
