Later, Dylan and the Madrigals are in Rick's CIA limo. They are right now traveling through a dimensional tunnel so they can go back to the Madrigal's dimension.

Inside the limo, all the Madrigals are either relaxing or chatting to each other about the crazy adventure they just experienced. While Rick is talking with Dylan and Mirabel.

"We've frozen all of Syndrome's assets. If he even sneezes, we'll be there with a handkerchief and a pair of handcuffs. The people of America are indebted to all of you." he explains.

Dylan then brings up a question he has in mind. "Does this mean Special Ops Agents are legal again?" "Let the politicians figure that one out. But I've been asked to assure you guys that we'll take care of everything else." Rick then smiles at Dylan.

"You did good, Dylan."

Dylan smiles at that. He has rekindled his bonds with Rick.

Camilo is next to one of the two other CIA agents in black suits and sunglasses. He is shapeshifting into him and making faces. Dolores notices and stops him. "Camilo, stop. These are government agents."

As Mirabel is looking through her mochila bag to see what gadgets weren't used, she notices something odd. "Hmm, it seems like your spare polymorphing gadget is missing Dylan." Camilo hears her and speaks to her. "Oh yeah, when I took two of those wrist gadgets from you, I lost one of them back in the Encanto. And what is polymorphing?" "It's basically similar to your gift, but instead of morphing your physical form into other humans, you can morph into anything, even non-living things. But don't worry, we'll look for it when we get back," Dylan explains.

Pepa and Félix are next to each other embracing each other. "Are you ready to go back home, Pepí?" "Si, and I can't wait to see Juan again. Believe me, you will see a huge rainbow form over the Encanto, with not even a cloud in sight."

Dylan turns to Isabela who is on the other side of him as he notices her dress now has a whole assortment of colors. "Hey, I see you changed your colors." Isabela then explains her new colors while stuttering. "Oh yeah this…yeah…when we were on the island I just…yeah." "It looks great," he compliments. Isabela turns to him with a smile. "Thanks Dylan."

Then, her smile falls as she now has something to say to Dylan. "Um, I'm sorry Dylan." Dylan turns to her with a confused look. "For what?" "For mistreating you like my Abuela did. To be honest, when I saw you hanging out with my family more, I wanted to hang out with you too. But I was just so caught up on pleasing my Abuela and…I'm sorry."

Dylan wraps an arm around her and gives her a reassuring smile. "Hey, it's okay. Now things are different, and you can hang out with me anytime you want." Isabela smiles before hugging Dylan. "Thank you, hermano." Dylan hugs her back. "Your welcome, hermana."

Antonio, who was amazed by everything that happened, speaks to Dylan. "That was so cool when you punched the Omnidroid off that building Dylan!" "Hey listen, that's nowhere as cool as you running on water!" Dylan happily adds on. "Hey Mirabel! Mirabel! That was sweet! When you snagged that bad guy with the string and kinda threw him into the other guy! It was so sweet!"

As Antonio continues on with complimenting each family member, Mirabel and Dylan wrap an arm around each other. They then look at each other, both happy knowing that Mirabel's family has changed. They now see Mirabel for who she is, just like Dylan does. And most importantly, the two can finally be together. She rests her head against him as he does the same.

This would truly be an adventure that the Madrigals would never forget.

"...and we aced those guys that tried to kill us! THAT WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER! I love our family."

Dylan and the Madrigals have arrived back in the Encanto. Rick drops them off near town and they make their way to it. All the townsfolk notice them and they start getting excited as they all make their way over to them.

"HEY, THEY'RE BACK!"

"THE MADRIGALS ARE BACK!"

"IS THAT THE OUTSIDER WITH THEM?!"

"WHAT KIND OF CLOTHING IS HE WEARING?!"

"WHAT HAPPENED TO ISABELA?!"

Alma waves her hand, gaining everyone's attention. "Yes everyone we're back, and we're all safe and sound." Everyone surrounds them and is happy for them.

Javier, who is in a wheelchair and with his friends, comes up and notices Mirabel. "Hey look, the giftless Madrigal is back." Isabela gets up to him. "Do not speak of my sister like that!" "Isabela, what happened to you?! What did your horrible sister do to you?" Mirabel steps in, "Hey that was all her doing, but it's fine, she finally sees her true self."

Manuel gets up to her face. "We knew you would tear your family apart, now you're going to–" He stops as he sees Dylan behind Mirabel. "I think it's best if you turn around and walk away." "Oh, now the useless outsider is here too. What are you gonna do huh?" Manuel tries to punch Dylan, but Dylan grabs his fist and squeezes it, making him wince in pain.

"Yeah, try punching the useless outsider who is also a government agent."

All the townsfolk look at him scared. "A…what now?" "Yes everyone, you heard him. But now I see, Dylan is a good person who never wanted to hurt us. And we will be treating him properly now," Alma says.

Señor Osvaldo smiles. "Ha, I always knew Dylan was a good gu–HEY KIDS, GET OFF OF THERE!" The kids who are playing on his wagon that has 8 barrels tied down to it, get off of it. "Phew, that was close. I mean 8 barrels of gunpowder is sure enough to cause a huge explosion."

"What do you need 8 barrels of gunpowder for?" Luisa asks. "Oh you forgot, next week is the Encanto's tejo tournament."

Alma then starts speaking again. "Well, if you'll excuse us everyone, we're going to go back to Casita now." Once they all start heading back, Dylan is wondering how he's going to find his spare polymorphing wrist gadget. Pepa starts getting excited as she is finally going to see Juan again. She's also going to thank Olivia for– "Madrigals! You're back!"

Olivia walks up to them to greet them, but she doesn't have Juan with her. "Uhh Liv, where's Juan?" Dolores asks. "Oh he's fine," she then turns to Pepa and Félix, "and you were right guys, I wasn't really fine with handling Juan, he sure does have special needs. I mean he's fine, but he was just a bit too much for me to handle."

Pepa is trying to keep herself calm. Olivia has just left Juan alone in Casita. "And, he's alone at Casita, right?" she asks while trying to hold in her anger. "No he's not alone. A replacement sitter came in and took my job." Pepa calms down and raises an eyebrow, "Replacement? We didn't have a replacement on standby."

"Well, there is a new babysitter watching over Juan right now," Olivia says. Everyone gets confused at her words. A random babysitter wouldn't come by and offer to be the replacement.

Dylan feels something odd going on, so he looks at Olivia. "Olivia, do you mind but…can you describe this new babysitter?" "Oh well he looks like someone I haven't seen before. He's someone who is your age with dark skin, he's also wearing a white suit with a white cape that has a gold holder with an S on it which apparently stands for 'sitter'. Originally he was going to have it stand for babysit–"

Olivia never got the chance to finish, because at that moment, Dylan and the Madrigals start panicking and they break their way through the crowd and start making a beeline for Casita.

Luisa busts open the front door and they all make their way into the courtyard, and look at one corner at the far end and they see the new babysitter, who is none other than…

Syndrome.

Syndrome, who has his back at them, quickly turns around and points his right index finger at them.

ZAP!

He then freezes Dylan and the Madrigals in a Zero Point Energy stasis field. Everyone looks at the center of the courtyard with their eyes and sees a special device that Syndrome had laid down when he arrived, preventing Casita from moving. He then turns his body more towards the group.

Revealing a sleeping Juan in his left arm.

"Shhhhhh, the baby's sleeping."

He then turns his head towards them with a wicked smile while wickedly chuckling. "You guys took away my future. So I'm simply returning the favor."

He gives them a reassuring look. "Oh and don't worry, I'll be a good mentor. Supportive, encouraging. Everything you weren't to me Agent Dylan. And in time, who knows…" Syndrome then gives them an evil side smile.

"He might make a good sidekick."

Syndrome then throws Dylan and the Madrigals over towards where the dining table is. Everyone crashes into the dining table and breaks it.

"HA HA!"

The sound of the commotion wakes up Juan. Syndrome, who now has his rocket boot fixed, starts flying up towards the Manta Jet. Dylan and the Madrigals look up in horror.

Syndrome is kidnapping Juan.

"HE'S GETTING AWAY FÉLIX! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING NOW!"

A hurricane is now forming over the Encanto as Pepa is seeing Syndrome kidnap her youngest. Juan is crying for his family. Everyone rushes outside of Casita as they are all watching helplessly as Syndrome is flying up to the Manta Jet.

They're all panicking now. Syndrome is getting away with Juan. Even the powerful winds from the hurricane cannot push Syndrome and his Manta Jet around. It's like his jet and the thrust of his rocket boots are made to withstand powerful winds. Isabela and Mirabel can't use their vines or elastic strings to latch onto Syndrome since he's now out of range of them.

Syndrome is happy and extremely caught up in kidnapping Juan…that he failed to notice the wrist gadget on Juan's wrist.

Juan looks up at Syndrome, before all of a sudden…he combusts into flames. Dylan, who is with the Madrigals, looks in shock and confusion. "WHAT THE–?!" Syndrome looks at Juan and gets scared of the baby being on fire. Juan then turns into metal, weighing Syndrome down. He tries to fly back up before Juan returns to normal and begins shaking violently. "SOMETHING'S HAPPENING?! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Pepa panics. Dylan's eyes widen as he comes to a realization.

"I THINK JUAN'S WEARING THE POLYMORPHING GADGET!"

"WHAT?!"

"Calm down you stupid baby!" Syndrome yells. Then suddenly, Juan polymorphs into a purple monster.

"AH!"

Juan then starts attacking Syndrome. Pepa is severely panicking right now as the hurricane is growing stronger. "WE HAVE TO STOP HIM!" she turns to Dylan, "DYLAN, THROW SOMETHING!" "I CAN'T PEPA, I MIGHT HIT JUAN!"

Juan continues bashing Syndrome's face in his monster form, as well as ripping out a few strands of his hair. Mirabel then remembers that she is still wearing the parachute backpack and has an idea of what to do.

"Throw me," she mutters to herself.

Juan then crawls down to one of Syndrome's feet and rips off one of his rocket boots. Syndrome starts losing control and flies up and crashes into the left wing of the Manta Jet. Juan falls of Syndrome, reverts back into himself, and starts crying as he is falling to his death.

Pepa lets out an ear piercing shriek. Mirabel turns to Dylan, "DYLAN! THROW ME!" Dylan quickly equips his super strength gadget and throws Mirabel towards Juan. Once she is close to him, Mirabel extends out an elastic string, catches Juan, brings him to her, and takes off the wrist gadget he's wearing. Juan then stops crying and looks at Mirabel with a smile.

"MiaBe"

Mirabel then pulls the cord, deploying the parachute. Everyone smiles in extreme relief and cheers at Mirabel saving Juan. As Pepa calms down, her storm still lingers but calms down. Syndrome then uncontrollably flies into the open doorway on the left of the jet.

Everyone is still happy at Mirabel catching Juan and safely descending. Their smiles then fall as Syndrome begins monologuing while he's peaking out of the door of the jet. "THIS ISN'T THE END OF IT! I WILL GET THAT BABY EVENTUALLY! AND I'LL BE BACK MORE POWERFUL THAT EVER TO DESTROY YOUR PRECIOUS ENCANTO!"

As Syndrome continues monologuing on how he'll be back, all the Madrigals are scared. He's going to come back to continue threatening and bringing harm to their family and their Encanto.

For Dylan however, he sees Syndrome is monologuing with his guard down. He needs to end Syndrome's reign of terror. But most importantly, he needs to protect the Madrigals from Syndrome. Quickly, he looks around for something to throw at him. Until he sees something that can help.

Señor Osvaldo's wagon with 8 barrels of gunpowder.

He quickly starts running over to it. Unaware that his family photo has fallen out of his pocket.

"SYNDROME WILL BE BACK! HAHAHAHA!" Syndrome looks down at everyone in evil happiness. Then, his smile falls and he gasps in fear. While he was monologuing, Dylan hurled the wagon with the gunpowder barrels towards the Manta Jet, and it's only a few feet away from it.

"Oh shit"

BOOM!

The wagon hits the front of the Manta Jet and the barrels explode, blowing off the left cephalic lobe. The explosion also flicks the nose of the jet upwards, flinging Syndrome into the air and onto the left wing of the jet.

Right in front of the left wing's turbine engine.

Scared, Syndrome tries to crawl himself away from the engine as its force is slowly pulling him in.

His vain attempts at crawling away are failing.

Eventually, he gets extremely close to the spinning blades, but is able to stop himself by putting his foot on the small outer edge of the engine.

Extremely terrified from looking to see he's inches away from death, he keeps trying to crawl away from it, but to no success.

Maybe he can hold his ground here until the engine runs out of fuel.

Once that happens, he'll be able to–

SNAP!

Then, Syndrome's cape gets caught in the turbine blades.

He looks forward and lets out a short, horrified scream as the lightning from Pepa's storm illuminates his frightened face, just as the turbine engine quickly pulls him in.

And just like that…

Syndrome dies.

In an extremely gruesome way.

As Edna always said:

NO CAPES!

Syndrome being sucked into the turbine engine causes the Manta Jet to explode.

All the Madrigals wince from the blinding light and the explosion.

Alma loses her balance from the shockwave, but Dylan helps keep her on her feet.

Dolores covers her ears from the loud explosion and looks up in horror as she has heard exactly what happened to Syndrome before the jet exploded.

Mirabel has gotten a bit closer to the ground and is trying to keep Juan from looking down while he is giggling. "Look at Mira, Juan. Don't look down. Mira's got you." He then looks up at the explosion above the parachute. "Everything is alright."

Mirabel then reaches the ground next to her family and her boyfriend, but the wreckage from the jet is about to crash onto them and Casita. Dylan and the Madrigals all huddle around each other, close their eyes, and embrace each other in a group.

BOOM!

The debris of the jet crashes on top of them and Casita. Pepa's storm cloud that's over the Encanto instantly fades away as the evening sun fills the sky again. One of the mountains that is surrounding the Encanto splits open as well.

Then, the smoke from the debris starts clearing, revealing that Dylan and the Madrigals are still alive. Right before the debris crashed on them, Dolores managed to encase everyone in a forcefield. Everyone opens their eyes to see they're all alright. Félix turns to Dolores with a smile. "That's mi hija."

As Dolores removes the forcefield and Mirabel hands Juan to Pepa, Antonio looks at everyone scared. "Guys…is Syndrome going to come back?" "Don't worry Toñito. Syndrome can't hurt us anymore," Dolores says as she is still horrified from hearing how Syndrome died.

As the smoke starts to clear more, they all look to the side down the hill to see all the townsfolk looking in shock from everything they had just witnessed. Three of the town kids however look amazed. They're all silent, until the kid with a cup of coffee speaks up.

"Oh man…THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!"

After that, Dylan and the Madrigals turn to the wreckage of Casita. Everyone is saddened by what they're seeing before them.

It's over.

Dylan was proven to be a good guy.

The Madrigal family has been reunited.

They finally understood the meaning of the vision.

They defeated the Omnidroid.

Syndrome is gone.

It's over.

But…

In the end…

Casita was still destroyed.

The candle was still destroyed.

The miracle…was still destroyed.

1 chapter left everyone. HA! You guys thought I was gonna refrain from any profanity in this story, well you thought wrong. Anyways, the next chapter is going to be the last chapter. I still can't believe that I have actually gotten this far with the story. Also if you look at the cover, you'll see that it is now finished with Syndrome. Let me know what you think in the reviews.
