Things are Getting Very Batty

Rainbow Dash and Spike are continuing their race through the dungeon as the rainbow-winged is doing her best to catch up with the dragon guy as she really wants to beat this guy.

"We should really be careful when we race through this dungeon, you never known what other danger may come our way." Spike advised her to be cautious.

"Sure, bring on the danger! I'm going to conquer this dungeon and you in this race!" Rainbow Dash excited and more into danger than being worried about it.

"(Man, this girl is almost like a honey badger. She was born with no fear.)" Spike thought surprised.

Rainbow Dash looks around the tunnel they are going through seeing the same rainbow-winged bat cravings on the will which she thinks are pretty cool, but she doesn't like the ones that look like there are people getting eaten by the bat creature wondering if that really happened.

"Heads up, we're about to enter a new room." Spike alerted.

Rainbow Dash saw a light at the end of the tunnel they're about to come in about ten seconds and she wants to be the one getting out first.

"Time for some running with the wind!" Rainbow Dash grinned as her body starts to glow a little green.

Rainbow Dash moves her body sideway for her feet to touch the wall running fast combining with the flight power of her wings, and powerful winds are blown from her wings behind to make her run even faster.

Three seconds left to reaching the end of the tunnel as Spike is still ahead though notice a spike of magic energy from very close to him as he turns around.

Only for Rainbow Dash to run past him looking at him with a grin and a wink as the young Dragon Lord becomes shocked of this of the girl suddenly passing him at the very last second before they exit the tunnel.

"Oh yeah! I'm number one!" Rainbow Dash cheered as she slides on the floor with her knees and her fists in the air.

"Amazing, you were able to actually get ahead of me just now!" Spike shocked.

"Never underestimate my awesomeness!" Rainbow Dash bragged as she quickly got back to flying.

"Bet you never seen wind magic being use for a flyer like me to make myself faster." Rainbow Dash smirked.

"(Actually, I have seen players without wings use wind magic to make themselves fly and the ones with wings I've only seen them use wind magic to attack and such. I never seen wind magic being use like on the wings for faster flight like that!)" Spike thought recalled the use of wind magic in the game.

"Come on, I bet you can't keep up with me now when I'm like this!" Rainbow Dash laughed as she flies around showing off her speed.

"(She's moving fast. I can still keep up with her movements, but it's too fast to completely see her.)" Spike thought shocked.

"I'm impress, guess it wasn't all talk about you being the fastest." Spike smirked.

"Duh, I only brag when it comes to things that are true like my speed!" Rainbow Dash laughed a little.

"Now you're going to feel what is like to fly from behind in the race." Rainbow Dash smirked with her arms cross under her breasts.

"(I have to say, the way she likes to talk herself being awesome actually makes her look really cute.)" Spike thought chuckled.

"Hey! What's with that stupid face you're making?" Rainbow Dash asked, finding that face to be a little annoying.

Rainbow Dash asked that question, she landed on one spot of the floor that looks like a crescent moon and that went down from the pressed weight of her foot. This didn't go unnoticed to both racers as Spike gasp and Rainbow Dash quickly jump off from the spot, and a good thing too when two large, curved spikes came out pinching together like crab's claw or fangs coming together.

"What the fuck? That would've really hurt!" Rainbow Dash shocked.

"We should really get out of here now!" Spike said.

Not arguing with Spike because she knows that he is right, and they quickly fly away together out of the room while avoiding the fang pincers.

"Man, these things are suddenly reminding me of how my grandma would always pinch my cheeks whenever I see her!" Rainbow Dash recalled those moments.

"Think about your grandmother later, just focus on getting out of here first!" Spike stated.

"(I hope Pinkie and the others are doing better than we are.)" Spike thought concerned of the others that probably went in the other tunnels.

(With Pinkie's Group)

"Come on, come on, come on!" Scootaloo rushed through the tunnel with the others very close to her from behind.

"Scootaloo, slow down! You could get hurt if you're not careful." Sunset pointed out since they're in a new dungeon.

"I can't, I got to find Rainbow Dash to see her win!" Scootaloo refused to slow down.

"You know, there is a chance that Spike could win." Pinkie said while keeping up with Scootaloo on her pogo stick.

"Maybe so, but that doesn't mean Rainbow Dash is going to let him win." Scootaloo believed in her idol.

"Look, we're about to exit this tunnel!" Twilight pointed the way of a light being seen right now.

"About time, I was getting a little frustrated of running in this place for long." Sunset exclaimed.

The group ended up in a large room that appears to be empty except for some cravings on the wall about bats and people seems to be bowing to these bats, and it's also very dark as they can barely see the length of the room itself.

"Wow, this place sure like the dark so much." Pinkie commented.

"Be sure to stay close to us, Scootaloo." Sunset advised.

"I'm cool, it's not just I'm worried about some spooky monster to pop up out of nowhere." Scootaloo proclaimed and scoots a little closer to the girls.

Twilight uses a light spell to create a ball of light that is a little bit bigger than her head, seeing the ravings got her interested as she took out her notebook and pen with her magic to write and draw all this down.

"It looks there used to be civilization that dedicated to these bat creatures like their guardians or perhaps deities?" Twilight theorized.

"Well, that kind of strange." Scootaloo said.

"That there's no door to get out, I know because I just checked the place." Sunset informed.

"There's that, but what I mean is, isn't it strange that this place showed us there this used to be like a home of a city or something when dungeons are just for exploring for adventurers." Scootaloo said.

"Huh, you know what? You're right about that, maybe this new dungeon is representing of one civilization that used to stand before it fell centuries ago." Twilight believed.

"But how can a dungeon know about what used to be from the past?" Pinkie asked.

"That's one of the mysteries about these dungeons, just when you think you found out something that could lead to the answers it just leads you to some more questions." Sunset stated.

"Like how there are monsters born from them too?" Pinkie asked as she looks up.

"There's that." Sunset nodded.

"I always thought monsters are born like how babies are born." Scootaloo said.

"That's actually the monsters that lives outside of the dungeons." Sunset said.

"Meaning the ones hanging upside-down right above us are the ones born from the dungeon." Pinkie said.

Exactly." Sunset nodded.

But all three girls widen their eyes in shock upon what Pinkie Pie just said as Twilight looks up at the ceiling which causes her light spell to shine a light at the ceiling too, and there revealing to be a couple of large bat creatures hanging from the ceiling and appears to be asleep too.

"Okay, that looks troubling." Twilight gulped.

"G-Good thing there's only two of them." Scootaloo chuckled nervously.

"Nope, I very much remember from my dad about being lots of more bats together when you stumble upon their cave." Pinkie pointed out.

"Then that means…" Twilight slowly moved her light to become wider to show dozens and dozens of bat monsters sleeping on the ceiling covering the whole thing.

"I think this is the part where we go." Scootaloo suggested.

"Yeah, we better go." Sunset agreed with one hand grabbing onto the handle of Scootaloo's scooter.

But Sunset's hand got on the bell accidentally making it ring twice with the noise from the bell echoing throughout the room, that very noise alone is what woke up the bat monsters.

"They probably" But Twilight's sentence was cut off when the bat monsters came flying down and around the adventurers as they screech in rage.

"Wow, they really hate being waken up from their nap." Pinkie commented.

"You think?!" Sunset, Twilight, and Scootaloo yelled at Pinkie.

One bat monster comes in to strike at them from behind, but Pinkie was able to sense this thanks to her Pinkie Sense as she quickly brought out her hammer from her hair and slams the bat monster right down to the ground and it pops into a small crystal.

"Now might be the best time to leave." Pinkie said.

"But there is still no door!" Scootaloo said as she looks around.

"Maybe there's a way to get one to open. Twilight, see if you can find that through on the cravings." Sunset ordered.

"On it!" Twilight nodded as she runs over to the wall and putting out a protective forcefield around herself.

"Pinkie, you and I will fight off the bat monsters for as long as we can until Twilight can find an answer." Sunset ordered to the party-loving girl.

"You got it!" Pinkie saluted and pulled out her Party Cannon.

"Scootaloo, go to Twilight ans stay with her until all of this is over." Sunset said to the kid.

"Okay!" Scootaloo nodded before quickly making her way to Twilight who made a quick opening of her barrier to let her in.

Pinkie aimed her Party Cannon at some of the bat monsters blasting them with streamers to tie up several bat monsters at once.

Pinkie jumps high from the bouncy cushion of her puffy hair doing a rolling spin in the air before going down, her hammer starts to glow pink, slamming her weapon down causing the streamers to glow for just under a split second and explode destroying the bat monsters.

"Time to give this a try in actual combat." Sunset said to herself.

"Fists of Hellfire!" Sunset activated the combat spell with her fist bursting into flames.

Sunset charges at one bat monsters is tries to bite her head off only for her to lean backward to narrowly dodge the fangs and throw a strong fire punch, threw another punch in the stomach and slams one punch very hard on the head enough to make the monster burst into a crystal.

Two more bat monsters came at her trying sink their fangs onto her body only for her to run towards one to jump on the head to spring herself above the other one.

Sunset put her hands together bringing them down on the bat monster sending it crashing on the ground causing a small crater, the bat monster from before came charging at her looking a little angrier too.

"Piercing Heat!" Sunset fired a fire spell from her horn that came in the form that looks like a laser beam that went right through the head and body as well with steam emitting.

Sunset dodges an attack from another bat monster and blasting it away with her fire magic from her horn then spins around making some flames spreading at any bat monsters that tries to come at her burning them away.

"Let see how you like this?" Pinkie created some balloon animals as they glow pink.

"Popping Animals Stampede!" Pinkie let go of the balloon animals as they fly off and each one or two hitting the bat monsters causing them to explode as they all fell.

"Twilight, anything?" Sunset asked.

"I think I'm almost done." Twilight responded.

"Well, could you finish up a little faster? I think some are coming for us." Scootaloo worried.

"Don't worry, they won't be able to get us." Twilight said while looking at notebook more.

"Why do you say that? Is it because your forcefield can hold off an army of monsters?" Scootaloo asked feeling a little freak out right now.

"No, it can do better than just protect." Twilight grinned.

"What do you mean better than protecting?" Scootaloo asked.

Three bat monsters screeched loudly as they come charging at the fair which causes Scootaloo to scream in fear and hugs onto Twilight, but the purple smart girl isn't scared in the slightest as those monsters about to learn how special her defense spell is the hard way.

The bat monsters came charging at the magic forcefield trying to ram on the spell so hard that it would break upon impact, but when they crashed onto the forcefield it didn't break and they suddenly for shocked from purple electric sparks then burst out flying away.

"No way?!" Scootaloo gasped.

Sunset and Pinkie see the three bat monsters coming in as the party girl throws some colorful ribbon tying on their necks and Sunset set the ribbons on fire burning the bat monsters and they explode.

"What just happened?" Scootaloo asked.

"It's a special defense spell that works for both defense and offense at the same time while I'm doing other things, like this important research to get us out of here." Twilight explained with a grin.

"I didn't know you can use a spell like that." Scootaloo surprised.

"That's because this kind of spell is unique because I invented it all by myself." Twilight revealed.

"Really? You created a spell all by yourself! That's totally amazing!" Scootaloo complimented to Twilight.

"Thank you, I actually got this idea from my brother as he has the strong defense spells than me." Twilight chuckled, wondering if her brother would be proud of her now.

"Twilight, we're almost done with the bat monsters!" Pinkie informed while blasting some painful cupcake projectiles at the bat monsters.

"But they're coming at us rougher." Sunset added before catching the mouth of the bat monster keeping it from biting on her.

"Could really use that exit right now." Sunset said before kicking it away the bat monster and destroy it with a fireball.

"I think I… got it!" Twilight figured out about this room.

"We need present the blood of the last surviving bat monster to that bat craving, paint the wings in blood." Twilight informed and pointed at the craving.

"Not unless you guys already finished off all of them." Scootaloo looked at all the monster crystals and not a single bat monster left.

Sunset and Pinkie look around starting to look worry that they may have destroyed all of them until they heard a loud screech from above, and they quickly jump out of the way to avoid one bat monster flying around and shouting in rage at the adventurers that dares to kill the rest of its brethren.

"There's one!" Pinkie said.

"Catch it!" Sunset ordered.

"You got it!" Pinkie nodded and aimed her Party Cannon at the bat monster.

She waits patiently to get the creature in her targeting range for a second and then fired some streamers trapping the bat monster.

"Come on, let's take it to the craving and paint the blood. Never thought I would use actual blood for art." Sunset creeped out on that part.

Sunset and Twilight use their magic to lift the bat monster over to the craving as it pointlessly struggles to break free, and Pinkie pulls out a very pink and sharp dagger from her hair.

"Let the path be open with… Blood!" Pinkie stabbed the dagger onto the monster and cutting it open letting the blood come out.

Sunset and Twilight quickly brush the bleeding bat monster onto the wings of the craving, then the bat craving glows making the blood dissipate and a door open right in front of them.

"Alright, we can leave!" Scootaloo cheered.

"Great, now let's hope we can catch up to Spike and Rainbow Dash." Sunset relieved and everyone quickly ran into the tunnel.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

It would seem that Pinkie Pie's group have stumble upon themselves into a little adventure of their own while Spike and Rainbow Dash are still having their race, and things have gotten batty for the girls, but they were able to escape the room.
