I'm back!
Enjoy the new chapter!

Haru sat with her classmates the next morning as Aizawa started their lesson for the day.
"As I mentioned yesterday our primary goal now is to get you your provisional licenses."
The class responded in unison with "Yes!"
"Hero Licenses are inextricably tied to the saving of lives, so one must be properly qualified for such a heavy responsibility. Naturally, the test is incredibly difficult. Even for provisional licenses, on average we only see a 50 percent success rate."
Mineta was the one to ask a question.
"Even the provisional one's that hard to get?"
Aizawa continued.
"That's why starting today, each of you needs to come up with at least two."
There was a pause as the door opened and Miss Midnight, Rock Lock, and Ectoplasm walked in.
"Ultimate Moves! This is kinda like a school thing, but totally Hero-like at the same time!"
Miss Midnight continued.
The class was buzzing with excitement as Ectoplasm spoke up.
"Ultimate moves! These are your FINISHERS. Your most unique techniques!"
Rock Lock continued.
"Internalize these moves. Make them your own until they become unparalleled. Combat is all about finding and making use of your particular strengths!"
Miss Midnight continued again.
"Your moves symbolize who you are! Nowadays, Pro Heroes without ultimate moves are a dying breed!"
Aizawa spoke up again.
"Let's move forward with a more detailed explanation and a practical demonstration. Change into your costumes. And meet us at Gym Gamma."
The class quickly went to the lockers to change and walked into the Gym Gamma.
Rock Lock was standing in the center as the students approached.
"Gym Gamma. Also known as Training Kitchen Lab. TKL for short!"
Rock Lock bent down and started creating a tower on the floor.
"This facility was my idea. Here, I cook up the perfect terrain and objects to fit each student's needs. Hence, "Kitchen"."
Ida raised his hand.
"I see. May I please ask a question? Why must we create ultimate moves in order to acquire our provisional licenses? Please explain the intention behind such a requirement!"
Aizawa sighed.
"All in good time. Heroes deal with accidents, catastrophes and disasters both natural and man made. It's our job to save people from just about any situation imaginable. In the licensing test, your ability to adapt in those situations will be observed, naturally."
Miss Midnight took over.
"Intelligence gathering. Decision making. Mobility. Combat prowess. As well as communication skills. Charisma. Leadership abilities. The test contents vary from year to year, but applicants are always tested on a variety of criteria. Among the criteria. You can be sure that combat prowess will be heavily prioritize Heroes. Be prepared, and you've got nothing to fear! These moves could have a big impact on whether or not you pass."
Rock Lock continued.
"If you can keep a cool head and act with decisive, stable moves. That means you have a high level of combat prowess."
Ectoplasm continued.
"There's nothing that says your ultimate moves must be an attack. For example, take Ida's Reciproburst. That sort of extreme speed boost on its own is intimidating enough to be called an ultimate move."
Haru became lost in thought as she looked at her hands thinking about what her ultimate move could be. She focused back on her teachers when she heard Aizawa mention "Extra intense training!"
At the go the classmates disbursed and took on one of Ectoplasm's copies. Haru focused on moving and using her fire. Eventually getting frustrated and using her whip to wrap around the copy and hold him still before he broke free and approached her calmly.
"Your fire has improved but you need to focus on keeping it contained. Right now it's too wild and unstable. Your whip, however, is much stronger than it was at the festival. If you can keep a stronger hold on it in one hand instead of both, that will give you an advantage in a battle."
Haru grinned and focused on forming her whip in just one hand. The first one fading within seconds but the second attempt she was able to make it appear and hold onto it. She grinned at the copy before focusing on using it on some rocks to build her strength. Suddenly a hand on her shoulder made her jump as Toshinori smiled down at her.
"All Might!"
She said happily, knowing not to call him by his name or Papa while in class.
"You're whip is looking good kid, keep focusing on that and your breathing techniques. Try to form a fire with your other hand while you have control over your whip."
Haru nodded before concentrating and managing to have a small flame appear while her control on her whip flickered before stabilizing. A few seconds later both flames went out.
"Good. Work on concentrating on that will help you in battle."
Haru grinned and nodded.
"Yes sir!"

Four days later the teenagers were still working on their moves when All Might walked back into the gym, his eyes landing on a smiling Haru talking with Bakugo.
"How're they coming along, Aizawa?"
He greeted fondly while Aizawa turned to him.
"Here again? They're doing okay."
Toshinori smiled and continued to observe the teenagers while Aizawa followed his line of sight to the pair that seemed to be closer than ever since their abduction.
"She's managed full control in two days and has developed an ultimate move."
Toshinori smiled at the update, continuing to watch the pair as Haru pointed at a stone before Bakugo pointed his hands at the stone and concentrated the shot so it didn't fully explode the stone but instead exploded the back of it. Haru grinned and jumped up and down in excitement as Bakugo grinned at her.
"Bakugo's battle sense is as sharp as ever, I see."
Toshinori commented only for a boulder to fall headed right towards Toshinori, the movement catching Haru's attention as she gasped and yelled.
"All Might move!"
Toshinori looked up as Aizawa moved to grab his wraps and Haru had her whip in her hand moving to wrap it around the rock only for the rock to explode by Midoriya kicking it. Haru breathed a sigh of relief and her whip disappeared.
"That was close."
Bakugo was watching with anger at Midoriya's new power.
"Looks like he found a way to stop hurting himself. Good."
Bakugo glared at her and was ready to respond when he was interrupted by All Might.
"I'm sorry, Bakugo, Kid!"
Bakugo formed a giant explosion shouting.
"You better watch yourself, All Might!"
Haru sighed and jumped off the cliff free falling for a minute before using her fire in her feet to slow herself down and land softly on the ground before walking over to All Might and the rest of her classmates as they looked at her in shock.
"Wow Haru, your control has really improved!"
Haru smiled at Midoriya opening her mouth to respond when the teacher from class B interrupted her.
"TKL is supposed to be ours this afternoon!"
"Not these guys."
Haru mumbled as they watched the class walk in and Aizawa explained they had ten minutes left. Haru ignored the class and went back to her training, determined to be one of the students to get their Provisional License as a first year.

That evening the girls were hanging out in the common area, Haru was sitting cross legged, chowing down on a cup of noodles, her hair down, sporting a tank top and short shorts.
"They're working us to the bone every day!"
Ashido complained.
"That's why they call it accelerated training. And we only have one week left."
Haru explained as she yawned.
"How're your ultimate moves coming along, Momo Yao?"
Toru asked as the girls looked at her.
"Well. I have some ideas in mind, but my body's not quite there yet. I still need to work on enhancing my quirk a bit."
Haru nodded in understanding while Toru spoke again.
"What about you, Tsuyu?"
The girls turned to Tsuyu.
"I'm working on perfecting my more frog-like techniques. They'll be sure to shock even you, Toru."
Toru spoke again.
"And you, Ochaco?"
The girls turned to Ochaco to see she was clearly distracted so Tsuyu poked her making her jump.
"You seem wiped out."
Tsuyu teased.
"No, no, no! I'm not tired! Still got miles to go! Or so I'd like to think. It's just. I don't know. Lately, my minds been all over the place."
Ashido grinned and leaned over.
"It's love."
Ochako froze and freaked out.
"Huh? What?! Dove? Never seen one! Not me!"
Haru giggled as the girls teased her.
"Is it Midoriya? Ida?! You're always hanging out with those two!"
"No, No!"
Haru giggled again as Ochako started floating.
"She's floating."
Haru states while the girls keep pestering her.
"Which one?! Who is it?! Tell us!"
"Spit it out! The truth will set you free."
Ochako was turning beet red.
"I swear, I'm not. Seriously. Oh, I don't know."
Tusyu gave up.
"No sense in prying if she's not ready."
Momo sighed.
"Right. We have an early day tomorrow, so I think it's time to say good night."
Ashido jumped up.
"Huh?! No way! I still gotta know! Try changing the subject and I'll flip it back to romance!"
Haru couldn't contain her laughter as Ashido turned on her.
"Haru? What about you and Bakugo?!"
"Huh?"
Haru looked at her like she was crazy while the other girls looked curious.
"What about me and Bakugo?"
She asked.
"You two are always together and it's obvious to everyone in the class that you two have gotten closer since the beginning of school. So what's up? Are you in love with him?!"
Haru turned red and shook her head.
"Bakugo and I are just friends! That's all!"
The girls gave her a disbelieving look as she stood up and stated she was going to bed. Her mind strayed to a certain blonde as she entered her room.
"I can't lose focus."
She mumbled to herself before sliding into bed and going to sleep.
Unbeknownst to Haru, Bakugo overheard the conversation the girls had had.

And that's it for this chapter!
