"About time you woke up." Morticia said as Crimson groaned. "You know you have to replace my bed, right?"
Crimson was about to ask only for her to point to it…clearly stained. He simply nodded as she left the room. He stretched before looking at the clock.
"Ugh, Neo…she didn't even stay." Crimson said before getting off his bed.
Putting the sheets to wash was a pain along with cleaning up the mess, but he knew the costs of having 'cake' in bed. He showered before getting on fresh clothes settling to wear a black Splatter Paint T-Shirt under an opened red Alolan Shirt, dark colored jeans, Lance's old cape, and the Hyperflight sneakers. He noticed Neo had left something for him, a new pair of black fingerless gloves with metallic nubs on the knuckles and matching plate on the back of the hand.
He slipped them and cracked his knuckles before getting his gear together. He knew his Kanto journey was able to be over…and there was two last bits of business he had to deal with. He got breakfast as he sat to watch television only to hear a knock on the way.
"Who is it?" Crimson said.
"It's Lindsay!"
Jett let her in as she sauntered in to plop next to him on the couch.
"Congratulations, Mr. Champion." Lindsay said playfully. "I wanted to visit last night, but…I heard you had company."
"Oh…" Crimson said.
"Don't worry, it's no big deal. I just wanted to ask what your plans now." Lindsay asked.
"Go to the Sevii Islands. I got business to handle there." Crimson said. "But you look much brighter today."
"I finally got this." Lindsay said revealing a PokéDex. "And the recognition from my family. It's funny that out of the lot, I was only girl to get all the badges. Heather's frothing over getting the Earth Badge…and you being champion. Ella and Gary are a couple now. And I got word from Kirsten, she's passed the first part on her road being apart of the International Police."
"Time really flew by, didn't it?" Crimson said thoughtfully before hearing the dryer click. "Well, my sheets are done."
Jett handled the sheets before coming back downstairs to be returned to his ball. He returned the rest of his Pokémon to his balls before finishing his breakfast and turning off the television.
"It's time I get back in action." Crimson said.
As the two left the house, Heather strolled up. Crimson had been glad she had stayed. This time she was out of the cheerleader get up, instead wearing a pink Glitzy Scarf Top, a pair of olive jeans shorts, a pair of fingerless gloves, a pair of slate gray aviators, her usual backpack, and black Short Boots.
"Heather! I just thinking about you, you should go with Crimson to the Sevii Islands. He has to handle some business down there." Lindsay said.
"Sounds good to me." Heather said to her surprise. "I was actually going to ask for his help with something. So if you can excuse us?"
Lindsay took her time as Heather sourly watched her go.
"Salty over her getting many over you?" Crimson asked.
"Yes because she held back on me, on purpose. But that's beside the point…I need your help." Heather said turning sincere as she took off her shades to show her eyes. "I can't really do this on my own. If I had the Kanto Champion…the Outlaw Junior…and…"
"I get it." Crimson said stopping her. "What do you want?"
"I've been looking into poaching rumors. I just want to investigate Four Island…but I don't want to do it alone. I can't ask anyone else for help. I figured you have means to get to the Sevii Islands quicker than the ferry."
"I…should call Roulette about that." Crimson said before calling her up.
"You need to get to the Sevii Islands quickly? X Incorporated does have a teleporter system. I'll ask about it, and they should call you." Roulette said before hanging up.
He looked at Heather in disbelief before his phone rang again and he answered to hear Mei.
"So, I hear you want to reactivate the teleporter pad!" Mei said excitedly. "You're in luck."
"Not so bad, Mei! I'm practically at…75% percent…maybe 80%. It's too early for you to be yelling." Crimson said rubbing his ear.
"Sorry about that. About the teleporter pad, your father had one installed near his house. You should be able to find it and reactivate it for it to warp you straight to the office on Seven Island." Mei chirped. "I don't know where your dad's pad is….you're on your own for that. Bye!"
Mei hung up before he turned to his Dex who thankfully did locate it which led them to a shed not far from the family home. He opened the locked door to see a dusty warp pad like the ones at Silph and at the Rocket's base.
"Bulma, can you activate it?" Crimson asked.
Dex Bulma wordlessly activated it as with it the circle glowing white.
"Well Heather, you ready?" Crimson said offering his hand.
Heather simply smirked and got on the pad with him as the pad with him, teleporting away…triggering the mechanism to lock the door behind them.

(Seven Island | June 8th | 10:45 a.m.)
The two came out of the closet to see they were in the main office. Crimson remembered being here before in the past and walked up to the desk to look at a family photo, solemnly recalling the good times.
"You ok?" Heather asked.
Crimson looked to see a pair of dark purple, silver rimmed aviators on the desk…the one that belonged to his father. He took it up and put it on.
"Yeah." He said.
The two exited the office to be greeted by staff.
"While I do want to know how things are coming along in the business. I can't stay…I'm on a bit of a schedule." Crimson affirmed. "I was hold there were a chopper to take me across the islands. Ready it to take me and my guest to One Island."
"It's an airship, actually. But it'll be ready for you on the roof, Mr. Ryuseigan." One of them said.
"Excellent." Crimson said before heading to the elevator with Heather.
"Mr. Ryuseigan? Before you go, I just want to thank you for bringing Ms. Sinclair onto the team. Aside from dealing with your personal funds…she's been a great asset to the company."
"You are very welcome." Crimson said before the elevator door closed.

(Knot Town, One Island | June 8th | 10:45 a.m.)
It was a swift trip there and Crimson entered the Pokémon Network Center greeting Celio who was happy to see him.
"Well, if it isn't the champion." Celio said shaking Crimson's hand. "It's a pleasure to see you again, and is there really…"
"Lance's original cape? Yes, it is. A bit big on me, but I'll grow into it." Crimson said affirmed. "This is my running buddy for this run, Heather. Heather, this is Celio, one of the admins for Pokémon Storage Systems."
"Charmed." Heather remarked.
"Well, Crimson. I think I may have a task for you. I'm modifying the Network Machine right now. I'm changing it so it can handle trades over long distances. When I get finished, you'll be able to trade from other regions, namely Hoenn and Orre. But, there is a slight catch. For the link to work, the Machine needs a pair of special gemstones. The first one is supposed to be on One Island…and the second one is on Six Island. They emit a special energy frequency, and here's a special gadget that can help. A Dowsing Machine!" Celio said giving it to him. "It can lead you to hidden objects."
"Well, that's totally rad." Crimson said taking it up.
"It's 2003. Not the 1990's." Heather snarked.
"The 90s ain't dead yet, give it another year." Crimson slyly said before turning to Heather. "But let's get to work! We'll be back Celio."
Heather and Crimson left as he took in the clear air of the small town.
"Heather, I'm really glad you came with me on this adventure. Considering we didn't get to hang out much and we've been around for so much, we should-"
"Crimson!"
Crimson looked to see Ash roll up with an eager grin.
"Someone said adventure?" Ash said excitedly as Pikachu nodded happily.
"Ash. Where's Brock?" Crimson asked.
"Back at Pewter to spend time with family. I'm on route to get my last badge." Ash said cheekily. "So I went ahead on my own…until I found you guys. And the timing couldn't be better, we can go on that adventure together."
The Crimson from the beginning of the journey would have done anything to not have Ash join him, but Crimson simply chuckled.
"I suppose it's finally time." Crimson said fist bumping Ash. "First stop, the mountain."
Crimson sent out Kimiko before getting on her back.
"Need a lift, Heather?" Crimson asked as Heather sent out a Dragonite.
"No, I think not." Heather said putting on her shades and getting on her Dragonite. "Dray, let's go."
She took off into the air as Crimson followed.
"Always in a rush, those two." Pikachu said shaking his head as Ash sent out his Pidgeot.
"Wait up!" Ash said as he got on his back. "After them!"

Team Rocket. Or at least what was left was still beyond angry over all of their gang, but the remains have a plan for revenge. All blissfully unaware that the son of the Outlaw was back in town.

(A/N: I bet you're wondering, why Ash and Heather for the post-game journey. For Heather, this is going to show a bit more of her character. For Ash, it's simply Crimson and myself coming full circle. I've grown a lot more neutral on the poster child over time. The anime I'm probably never going back to…but it's a shame considering the later seasons post-Alola FINALLY started addressing some issues I had. Better late than never, I guess. Side note, I just found out that Butch and Cassidy had left Team Rocket in the anime canon. Now I feel better bad about screwing them over in this story, ah well, considering I had Jessie, James, and Meowth leave…I guess it balances out. But at this point, my story has diverged from the original anime to be its own thing anyway. But now we have the Three Beasts of Team Rocket, and a lot of unfinished business.)
