Percy laughed at the antics of his nieces and nephews. It'd been a decade since that day, and everything had gone very smoothly. After Fred had been a soul in Earthland, his magic had changed. It was a nice blend between the two worlds.
Which affected George as well, proving the theory twins shared a soul bond.
"Percy?"
"Mmm, Lucy?"
Tilting his head, he looked at his Guild mate. She was still breathtaking a decade later. And how her mind worked still both fascinated and confounded him.
"The twins make good gate guardians," She whispered.
"They do. I think it was fate that Fred's soul ended in Earthland," he replied.
"Yes, I'm definitely grateful it did," Lucy replied. Her head leaned against his shoulder, rubbed against it gently.
He had not wanted a marriage. A thing Lucy had accepted, understanding his pain ran deep. So they had a hand-fasting ceremony in the Celestial Realm. The blessing of the stars had marked him and Lucy as soul mates.
"Look at your mom and dad. They're never going to give us Forneous back," Lucy grumbled.
It was a fact his parents had been ecstatic when he'd sent the message through Fred that he and Lucy were to be bound by the old ways. The ceremony in the Celestial Realm had blown the minds of all Earth's wizards. Only a few from the Council and Wizenmagot had been invited.
Professor McGonigal had officiated at his request. She looked somewhat beside herself at the ostentatious location and the spirits. Shortly after, George announced he was dating Yukino. That had shocked everyone, only for Yukino to turn red and announce they were expecting to boot.
Cedric and Hydra were an interesting pair of twins that took after both Fred and George in the mischief department. At the same time, they looked angelic, like their mother.
As for him and Lucy, Forneus was their only child. It was difficult to get pregnant after they found out Lucy had an Irregular Uterine shape. So she was bed-rested immediately. Her rough and tumble life as an active mage didn't help.
But eventually, they were blessed. And his parents loved their eight-month-old son, who was a perfect blend between Lucy and himself. Already Forneus showed he had magical talent like Georges's twins. So a future candidate to be a Gate Guardian like his uncles.
At that moment, Percy knew there was not anything they could ask for because he had everything he could ever want. Family. Friends. Love, respect.
THE END!
