Title: Shaken
Time-line: Right after the end of BOBF Chapter 4, when Boba and Fennec are out on the balcony.
Summary: Fennec tells Boba what happened on Moff Gideon's Light Cruiser.

Boba watched Fennec as she stared out at the horizon, there was a vaguely haunted look in her eyes as they stood there in silence. She turned to look at him, "You're staring at me," she said, "Is something wrong?" Boba shook his head, "No, no, you just seem a little...off." he said. Fennec sighed, "I'm fine." she said, "Are you sure?" Boba asked. Fennec nodded, "Yeah, I've just been having a bit of trouble sleeping, that's all." she said. Boba raised an eyebrow questioningly, and Fennec knew she might as well just tell him what was haunting her dreams, "I guess it's time you knew what happened on Moff Gideon's Cruiser." she said. Boba's expression was unreadable as Fennec recounted everything that happened, "If that Jedi hadn't shown up when he did, we all would've died." she said when she finished. Boba's hands were curled into fists at his sides. Fennec knew Boba hadn't had good experiences with Jedi, one of the reasons she hadn't brought this up before was because she hadn't wanted to dredge up bad memories for him. Boba sighed, then he placed a hand on her shoulder, "I'm glad that Jedi showed up when he did," he said, "Is that the only thing that's been bothering you?" Fennec sighed, "I'd be lying if I said that I haven't been shaken by the two attempts on your life." she admitted. Much to her surprise, Boba pulled her into a hug, "We're both okay, everything's going to be okay." he said. Fennec couldn't remember the last time someone had hugged her, and after a stunned moment, she wrapped her arms around Boba and let herself relax into the embrace. It was as he had said earlier, the scars on the inside take longer to heal. But they were going to heal together.
