Kore, Seth, Dexter, Blitzo, and Moxxie get through to Striker and things happen!

Vol 8: Truth Seekers

Morning came and Striker opened his eyes, his vision blurry at first. When he finally gained consciousness, he found that he was no longer on the couch and looked around his body to see that there was no rope on him. He touched his arms and hands to see if his assumptions were correct. Now, he was trapped in a cage.

He kicked the door and then the bars, but nothing worked.

Then he saw Samantha walking toward him with a grin upon her face and he gasped in shock.

"Aww, the assassin Kore was forced to call husband and Seth was forced to call father with no friends and family," she said mockingly and chuckled evilly, "And no way out."

"Why are you doing this?" Striker asked, "We can talk this over."

Samantha's face grew dangerously close to his as she clutched onto one of the bars, making him gasp and flinch. "You didn't want to talk earlier." She let go of the bar. "Now you know just how I feel." She walked around Striker's cage.

Striker lowered his head with guilt.

As Samantha walked around the cage, she started to sing.

It's time you learned a lesson.

It's time you understand:

Don't ever count on anybody else

In this or any other land.

She looked away from him.

I once hoped for friendship;

To find a place among my kind.

But those were the childish wishes

Of someone who was blind.

She turned back around, facing Striker.

Open up your eyes!

See the world from where I stand:

Me among the mighty, you caged at my command.

She put her hand on the bars, walking around the cage, while Striker glared at her.

Open up your eyes!

Give up your sweet fantasy land.

It's time to grow up and get wise.

Come now, little one;

Open up your eyes.

She showed him powers from her hand, showing him her horrible past.

We all start out the same:

With simple, naïve trust,

Shielded from the many ways

That life's not fair or just.

First, it started out with her ex-boyfriend, whom she dated and everything was swell between the two at first. She wore a black headband with cat ears to compliment her black hair.

But then comes a moment,

A simple truth that you must face:

If you depend on others,

You'll never find your place.

Then, she saw her ex bullying a child and was about to beat her. Samantha was shocked to see her ex-boyfriend's true colors, but at the same time, it angered her. So, she stood in front of the child and just when her ex was about to shoot her, she dodged the bullet and the bullet ricocheted and hit him in the face, instead.

"Are you okay, little one?" Samantha asked the little girl.

"Yes," the girl replied.

"I hear them," one man said, as he and his men stepped into the alley.

"Run!" Samantha ordered and the girl didn't hesitate to do as she was told.

The men shot at Samantha and the girl, but they continued running. Little did the men know the police were watching the scene. The men resumed shooting, anyway and shot poor Samantha in the leg.

The police arrived just in time and arrested the bad men, while other police called for a bus to get Samantha to the hospital, and the rest of the police took the little girl home safely to her parents.

By the time Samantha was in the hospital, she died.

When she died, she found herself in Hell. What did she do wrong? She saved a little girl from her stupid ex and this was all she gets? However, she watched Charlie's commercial, which gave her a glimmer of hope. She informed Charlie that she liked children and never hurt them. Charlie stated that she loved children, too.

Later on in Samantha's life in Hell, she found a hellhound child, which disgusted Striker since he didn't want children and they got into a fight and their friendship was over.

And as you take that first step

Upon a path that's all your own,

You see it all so clearly:

The best way to survive is all alone.

When the flashback ended, Striker was crushed after learning of Samantha's sad tale, not just their bad friendship, but also of her ex-boyfriend and her getting killed by bad gunmen for no reason.

Open up your eyes!

See the world from where I stand;

Me among the mighty, you caged at my command.

Samantha pressed a button on the remote-control blinds for the blinds to open. She smiled wickedly at Striker, who was still in a cage.

Open up your eyes,

And behold the fading light.

It's time to grow up and get wise.

Come now, little one,

Open up your eyes.

She continued to smile evilly as the blinds slowly started to open.

Open up your eyes...

Striker covered his eyes as the light shone in his eyes. Adjusting to the sunlight, he saw Blitzo, Millie, Moxxie, Seth, and Kore jump inside the portal.

"I'm sorry about what happened between you and your ex and the little girl you saved," Striker apologized, "I'm also sorry for what happened to you afterwards."

Samantha scoffed. "After seeing what my ex was trying to do to an innocent child, I never stopped myself from defending kids from anyone who disrespects or hurts them. If I hadn't saved her, she would've been killed or hurt."

Striker looked away, realizing he was no different from Samantha's ex-boyfriend.

"You did the right thing." He sighed. "I wish I would've seen it."

A few weeks later from the Harvest Moon Festival, Millie's broken arm and leg healed, considering not only did her foot get caught in a bear trap, but also, Striker broke her arm when Millie saved Moxxie from being nearly killed.

As usual, Seth and Kore were in their human forms, but they kept a close eye on the imps in case things went wrong.

Blitzo was standing on top of a dumpster, while holding a lid, looking around sucusiously. "Shhhhh! Remember, we can't be seen," he whispered. Then he accidentally slammed the lid shut, louder than he intended and fell backwards onto a pile of trash bags.

Millie giggled at his predicament as she headed over to the I.M.P. office.

"Pardon my words, sir, but you're currently being the loudest," Moxxie corrected, calling him out on his hypocrisy.

Blitzo jumped off the trash bags, covered in garbage. An old newspaper was sticking to his forehead, a half-eaten lollipop sticking on one side of his head, a scrap of paper on his horn with an old banana peel impaled to it, and a used condom on his index finger, used to poke Moxxie in annoyance.

"I said, shhhhush your dick-sucking lips, Moxxie!" Blitzo retorted.

"Blitzo, he's right!" Seth hissed.

"Yeah, I think they heard us," Kore said worriedly.

Millie waved at Moxxie on her way into the office with Loona holding the portal open with the Grimoire in her hands.

Moxxie was about to follow, but was stopped by Blitzo, who knew they were discovered.

"Get down, guys!" Blitzo commanded Moxxie, Seth, and Kore.

A shadowy figure cocked a net launcher to prepare for a kidnapping, but was stopped by a hellhound pup and a familiar snake-looking imp.

Another shadowy figure jumped from a tall building after climbing down from a rope.

Hastily, Blitzo saw she was getting close to the portal.

"LOONA! CLOSE IT!" Blitzo ordered.

Millie tried to run towards the portal, only for it to close in front of her. "Wait, no!" she cried.

Suddenly, he and the others noticed that the strangers were beginning to shoot tranquilizer darts in different directions.

They jumped onto different trash cans and wooden pallets, hoping to avoid the shower of darts.

However, Moxxie was hit in the neck by a tranquilizer and fell to the ground, mumbling incoherent sounds.

"MOXXIE!" Blitzo, Kore, and Seth shouted, seeing their co-worker down.

Thinking quickly, Blitzo grabbed the three imps and kicked a garbage can he was hiding behind earlier, running away through the alley way. He hit the female agent in the face.

"I smell…colors," Moxxie said in a slurred voice and sniffed.

Then, he and the other imps came to a dead end, cornered by the agents. However, this didn't stop the imps from showing them their guns.

"Back off, you tuxedo-wearing FUCKS!" Blitzo snapped.

Just as the agents were about to fire, two figures jumped on top of them, but were tossed aside in the dead end Blitzo, Moxxie, Kore, and Seth were in.

Agent Two pressed a button on her gun, electrocuting Blitzo, Moxxie, Striker, Kore, Dexter, and Seth.

Kore, Moxxie, and Seth, who were zapped, came out of Blitzo's arms and Blitzo was zapped again from residual charge and dropped his gun.

The last thing Striker and Blitzo saw before closing their eyes was two agents smirking and laughing as they talked confidently.

"I'd like to see the suits at corporate callin' us losers now!" Agent One chuckled victoriously. "That was pretty badass."

"Super badass," Agent Two agreed.

Finally, Blitzo and Striker passed out.

Back in the I.M.P office, Millie furiously punched a wall with tears in her eyes, making vicious demon screeches. She fell to her knees, devastated that her husband, boss, and friends were taken away from her.

"SHIT! Shit, shit, shit!" she wailed as she put her head and hands on the floor, sobbing.

"You, uh... You okay there?" a familiar unexpected concerned voice asked.

Hearing this, Millie got up, causing Loona to drop the Grimoire in surprise and hold up her hands defensively.

"What're you doing sittin' there?!" Millie retorted, "Kore and the boys are in trouble! Open it again!"

"Blitzo was using a total of zero euphemisms, innuendos, or swears. That means it was serious, which means I don't open it until–"

Blinded by rage and concern for Kore, Seth, Moxxie, and Blitzo, Millie grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her down face level. "OPEN THE FUCKIN' PORTAL NOW!"

Loona opened the portal as Millie jumped out of the portal, doing a pose as Loona nonchalantly stepped out in her human form.

Millie stared at the ground, devastated. "They aren't here." Tears welled up in her eyes, but was picked up by Loona and was gently set aside.

Loona bent down and sniffed the ground, catching each of their friend's scents to track down where they went.

"It smells like they went this way," she said and placed Millie in her backpack, which she slung over her shoulder. "Come on... let's find Kore, Seth, and the Dumbass Twins." She fled the I.M.P and continued her search.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, Moxxie, Dexter, and Seth groggily opened their eyes and checked their surroundings to find themselves tied up with Blitzo, Kore, and Striker. Moxxie, Seth, and Dexter struggled to escape, only for a lamp to shine in their eyes, making them flinch away.

"Finally awake, huh, little fellas?" a female Brooklyn voice taunted, "Your friends have been for a while now."

"I'm the boy's mother," Kore said.

"And I'm his father," Striker added.

"Look, shitbag, it takes a lot to keep me down, alright? I took a fuck-ton of tranquilizers in the college I dropped out of. Also, I've been strapped nipple first to a car battery, so I-" Blitzo recoiled as he felt a light shine in his eyes. "Ohhh, okay!"

"Tell us, demon scum!" a male Brooklyn voice demanded, "Who do you work for? Satan?!"

The two agents interrogated them by shining a light in their eyes.

"Ow!" Seth winced.

"Jeez!" Dexter closed his eyes for the light was too bright.

"How did you get to our world from the afterlife?" the female returned.

"Why are youse killin' humans?!"

"When did you show up here?"

"Knock it off!" Striker snarled.

"Okay, I'm gonna stop you right there, bitch," Blitzo retorted to the agents, just as annoyed as Striker, "First of all, we just woke up from a veeeery nasty shock. And I'm still feelin' fuckin' woozy, so I'm gonna request you fetch us some coffee before we get into this. I mean, everyone gets coffee in shitty movies with scenes like this, am I right?"

"This isn't like the movies, Blitz," Kore told him.

"I want somethin' iced, bitch!" Blitzo turned to Kore, Seth, and Dexter. "Kore? Seth? Dex? Let me guess: hot chocolate."

"Yep," Dexter answered.

"Good." Shifting his gaze to Striker, he asked, "Strike? Black coffee?"

Striker nodded.

"'Kay, Mox?"

"I'll have a Neapolitan cappuccino, more cappu- than -ccino, make sure it's got no more than four ounces of milk; the beans won't have the right texture otherwise, and make sure they spell my name correctly on the cup-they always put 'Foxy' or 'Roxy'; I hate that."

"This outta be good," Striker growled under his breath, rolling his eyes as he did.

Kore, Seth, and Dexter, on the other hand, smiled inwardly at Moxxie's complicated coffee order.

"If you can't handle that, I'll have a Venti traditional misto. Please use soy milk, with two blond shots affogato AND ristretto! I'd also love... three vanilla pumps at the very bottom, then add the coffee after, then add–"

"ENOUGH!" the male agent snapped, "We aren't getting youse coffee!"

"Wow. I was getting massive douche chills just there, Mox," Blitzo smirked, "Congrats."

"Awesome job, Mox," Seth said.

The female agent leaned close to Seth, Moxxie, and Dexter, face-level. "If we have to, we are willing to resort to torture methods to get answers outta you nasty hell beasts!"

"When you say 'torture', do you mean physical or psychological?" Moxxie asked, "Physical seems counterproductive; we would likely tell you anything if it meant an end to the pain, and you would have no way of knowing what was true!"

"Or we might like it too much," Blitzo suggested, "And then you've got a whole new thing to deal with."

The male agent pointed an accusatory finger at him. "What do you mean by that?"

"Ah, you're stupid, huh? I can work with stupid. Daddy likey dummy."

The agent cringed unamused by his remark.

"Jackass," Striker said with a smirk.

Moxxie stifled his laughter, only for him to stomp his feet onto the floor, giving into the laughter. "Good one, sir!" he said in between laughs. "'Daddy likey!' And Striker, 'jackass'!"

"You better stop laughin' at us!" the female agent yelled.

Her partner yanked an amused Blitzo up by the collar, face-level with him. "Yeah! YOU are the ones at our mercy!"

"It's hard to resist, I'm really sorry," Moxxie sneered, recovering from his laughter, "I mean, considering your approach thus far, you've had us tied here for what, hours? And you haven't even had us confirm what exactly we are!"

The female agent leaned down curiously with Moxxie. "And what are you?"

"I'm a Virgo!"

"HAAAA!" Blitzo laughed and was set free by the agent that carried him before.

"Ohhhhh, a smart guy, eh?!"

"One more quip outta you and we'll shut you up!" the female agent snapped.

"Ooh, getting kinkyyyy!" Blitzo jeered.

Both agents recoiled against the wall in horror and shock.

"WHAAAAT?! We aren't playin' into your vile demon kinks!" the female agent's partner retorted.

"I mean, that's what it sounded like back there, you sickos!"

"Please don't give them ideas, sir," Moxxie said sarcastically.

"Why not? I know the shit you're into!"

"STAAAAHP! We are NOT gettin' kinky wit youse!" Agent One was pulled back by his partner.

"Calm down, One! Don't let these monsters get to you!" She and her partner started to walk away.

"Heyyyy, aren't we gonna get our phone call, bitch?" asked Blitzo.

"Ugh, this now?" Striker hissed.

"Well, that entirely depends!" Agent One replied smugly, "Who are you gonna call? Hmmm?"

"Your fat mom, thankin' her for a fat time!"

"Fat mom?" Seth and Dexter cried and bursted out laughing.

"Nice try, demon! His fat mom is DEAD!"

Hearing of his dead mother, Agent One planted his face into his one arm in tears.

Striker had to admit that he had an amazing time roasting the agents along with his wife and son, Dexter, Blitzo, and Moxxie.

Kore smiled as the agents left the room.

Blitzo sighed. "Don't worry, fellas. If we keep being obnoxious, they'll eventually slip up and we'll get a chance to get out. Let's just keep fuckin' with them until they get so frustrated, they stop thinkin' clearly. It usually works."

"I'm just worried about Millie," Moxxie said sadly. "She'll be on her way by now, I'm sure!"

"Ugh, she'll be fine, Moxxie. It would take a roided-up hippo to take down that woman when she's upset."

"We've never dealt with the human government before! She's in danger!"

Suddenly, something in Blitzo snapped. "Do you ever honestly shut up about Millie?! It's always…" He started imitating Moxxie's voice mockingly, "'Oh, how's Millie?' 'I can't tonight.' 'I'm hangin' with Millie!' 'I'm so worried about Millie!'" To Striker, he added in the same mocking tone, "'I can't because I'm busy trying to kill Stolas for treating you like his plaything!' 'I hurt Kore and Seth and I'm sorry for it!'" Blitzo growled. "And they're ALWAYS…FIVE FUCKING FEET away from you! Not to mention, Striker, you tried to kill Stolas! It's pathetic!"

Moxxie looked at Blitzo, offended by his remark. "That…was oddly personal."

Striker snarled at Blitzo. "Blitz, that was hurtful."

"Well, in YOUR case, asshole, it's the FUCKING TRUTH! Maybe Millie's parents should've done a background check on you! Not to mention, you betrayed your family and my business!"

"I got a call from a client saying he cheated on her for YOU!"

"So what? I don't hire people to kill cheating people."

Striker sighed angrily. "Dexter and I came to your rescue."

"We would've gotten by by ourselves."

"Oh, sure and let yourselves be kidnapped by agents," Striker said sarcastically, "I came all this way and this is how you repay me?"

"None of us asked to be kidnapped by them!" Then Blitzo added, "Wow! Maybe you should go to therapy or anger management to work through your anger issues!"

If Striker wasn't tied up, he would've pointed a finger at him.

"I still can't forget about the fact that you were awful to my best friend, who you accused of attacking!" Seth snapped, "He didn't do anything bad to me."

Striker gasped. "What?"

"He didn't do anything to you, either!"

"Yeah, you only saw the worst in me and my adoptive mothers," Dexter countered, "Not to mention, you also treated your son, wife, and co-workers badly!"

"Since all you've been doing is disrespecting us, then how about a divorce?" Kore demanded.

Striker gasped sharply in regret.

Suddenly, the three imps saw some green smoke fill the room. The smoke continued to fill the room as the three imps struggled not to breathe it in. But then, the smoke began to play with their minds. Even Striker found himself somewhere. He looked at his hands and saw they were untied. What is this? Some kind of trick? He looked at his abdomen to see if he was still tied or not. Seeing they were untied, he got out of his chair to find himself in a dark place.

"Uh, guys? Where are you?" he asked.

"Where are we?" Blitzo mocked, "Why would you care?"

"Blitz?!" Striker called.

Suddenly, he turned around to see the apparitions of his family and friends approach him. All of them giving him the cold eye stare that made Striker drop down to his knees, his eyes about to tear up.

"You've been having no respect for any of us lately!" Dexter snapped.

"You're no better than people who you look down upon," Kore told off her husband.

"Or people who hurt you," Seth added coldly.

"Please, stop!" Striker begged.

"You haven't been appreciating anything we do lately!" Moxxie said.

"Not to mention, I saved you from the overlords and this is how you repay me by mistreating my adopted son and other people?!" a familiar angry female voice raged. "That is so beneath you!"

Striker gasped, upon hearing the voice.

"You had one FUCKING job, Striker: To kill that cheating prick!" an aristocratic harpy voice shrieked.

Oh, no, not her! Striker thought. "Fuck off, bitch!" he snapped in the wind.

"Oh, that's her, isn't it?" Blitzo taunted.

Before Striker could get a chance to respond, he was lunged at by Blitzo, who beat him, making him come to his senses on his villainous behavior.

"Are you afraid to admit your mistakes and let people in, Striker?"

That voice again.

That devilish voice. It can't be.

Striker turned to see who it was. She smirked devilishly at him as to Striker's shock, cuffs that connected to the chains wrapped around his wrists as well as his neck and was bound by ropes. She pulled a terrified Striker closer to her to meet at eye-level.

"If you keep pushing us away, then you'll end up alone forever!" Moxxie spat, catching Striker's attention.

As Striker turned around to see Moxxie's apparition, everyone's apparitions each disappeared as did his chains and cuffs. Soon Samantha, an aristocratic boss he worked for, and the overlords from his past started laughing at him and taunting him with, "You're gonna die alone!" Striker steeled himself from the mocking laughter and taunting, hoping they'd go away. Finding his ego deflating, he sighed as he lowered his head in shame at the face of it all. He'd lost everything important to him: His job, his friends, and family. His eyes welled up with tears.

"Aww, he's crying like a little bitch!" an overlord jeered.

"You're gonna die alone, Striker!" voices continued chanting in the wind as Striker was now surrounded by feathers as his surroundings grew darker and was now covered in feathers. His only defense was his silent scream.

Back in the interrogation room, Striker was still sobbing from his hallucination, sadly accepting his fate.

"Striker?" said Dexter, trying to get Striker's attention, only to receive a slight groan. "STRIKER?!"

"I screwed up big time," Striker lamented.

"Strikes, look, your problems are just as big as mine," Blitzo assured him.

"But you can still ditch that bitch you call boss," said Kore.

"Samantha and my boss are smarter than me and my boss will stop at nothing to find me. Hell, at least they wouldn't get themselves in this dump."

"Pull yourself together! You have the skills you need to quit working for her."

"I don't know, Kore. I don't seem strong enough for that because she's stronger than me."

"Dad, please!" Seth called with pleading eyes.

"Now, I'm going to die alone since I lost everything…My job…my friends…family…EVERYTHING!"

"ENOUGH!" Moxxie snapped, fed up with Striker wallowing in self-pity.

"Mox is right, Strikes!" Blitzo told off the saddened cowboy imp, "You're not the only one who's hurting here!"

"We've been caught by the agents, Loona and Millie are on their way to find us for Satan knows how long it takes, there could be worse things those agents could do to us, and all you can do is sit here and feel sorry for yourself?!" Kore snapped, "And that's affecting us badly more than you know!"

"And just as bad as what happened at the Harvest Moon Festival weeks ago, I might add!" Dexter spat. Then he faced away from Striker.

"We trusted you and believed in you, but if you don't care because we're going to die and listen to your harpy boss, then fine by me!" Kore yelled with angry tears streaming down her face as she scooted away from her useless husband.

"So stop living in the past and bottling up your insecurities, Dad or you'll end up being just as bad as your bitch of a boss!" snapped Seth as he turned away from his father with a pout.

"With that attitude, you WILL die alone." As Moxxie said this, he turned his back towards Striker.

"You have the skills to free us, use them! So we can get the hell out of here!" snapped Blitzo, "After this mission's over, we can call it quits and go our separate ways!" And soon, everyone scooted away from the helpless imp.

"You're better than you think, Striker," Kore said, without looking at him.

Striker sighed. "Okay…I think I can do this."

Blitzo slowly turned around. Could Striker be really snapping out of his depression?

"I can do this," Striker repeated.

"He's baaaaack," Blitzo mused.

Just then, they heard a loud rumble up from the ceiling. They watched in awe as one of their friends popped through there.

"THERE'S my Millie!" Moxxie cried excitedly.

Millie went to untie the crew and release their tails that were chained to a ball chain.

"Impressive work, Mills!" Blitzo laughed, "How'd you get here all by yourself?"

Once untied, Moxxie and Millie shared a tender moment with Seth, Kore, Dexter, and Striker huddling up together.

On the side of the room, a window was shattered, interrupting the happy reunion. Whoever caused it, used a woman as a battering ram to break into the room and that someone was…

"Loony?!" Blitzo gasped, upon seeing his adoptive daughter's human form.

"Get your asses out here before MORE FUCKERS SHOW UP!" Loona shouted as she jumped into the room, reverting back to her hellhound form, dropping a weapon-filled bag.

Suddenly, the alarm went off and the group was surrounded by people holding pistols, axes, swords, and other weapons.

"Ooookay, I've had one too many emotions for today!" Blitzo said and turning to Striker and Moxxie, he added, "Guys, let's fuck these fuckers UP!"

"My thoughts exactly, Blitz!" Striker replied as he, Moxxie, Blitzo, and the rest of the group wielded their weapons.

Striker's weapon of choice was his blessed-tipped rifle. Kore's was a blessed-tipped knife Seth used to kill a hog at the Harvest Moon Festival. Seth's was a blessed-tipped pistol since he decided he could use a break from using a knife and he saw his mother use the pistol quite a bit, so it was his turn to use a pistol.

Dexter's weapon of choice was two pistols since Samantha and Tara taught him how to use weapons in case someone tried to kill him. Thus, he saw them use weapons and decided to try it out with their help.

Seth and Dexter fought side by side with each other, shooting a bunch of agents that tried to off them. One agent knocked the two pistols out of Dexter's paws, but he managed to slash at a few of them with his claws and bite them with his sharp teeth. At one point, Dexter looked at the pistol Seth was using out of curiosity. Unlike any pistol he'd seen, this one glowed like stars in the night.

"Cool, pistol, dude," Dexter said.

"Thanks, Dex," replied Seth.

"What kind of pistol is it?"

"A blessed-tipped pistol kind of like the rifle my dad's using and the knife my mom's using. They're known to kill demon royalty."

"Like the overlords and stuff?"

"Yep."

"Seth, look out!" Dexter warned, upon seeing an agent sneak up behind him with an ax.

Seth turned around and shot the said agent, causing the agent to collapse.

"That's my boy!" Striker chuckled proudly at his son's accomplishment.

Kore jumped on a female agent before she could attack her son, husband, and her son's best friend, stabbing her with her husband's blessed knife.

"Kore?" Blitzo called, getting his friend's attention.

"Yeah, Blitz?" Kore asked.

"Do you need a gun or anything?" Blitzo showed her a tommy gun.

"Sure." She took the gun from his hands. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He gave her a thumbs up.

Since Kore used her husband's blessed pistol numerous times, she put her gunmanship to use with a tommy gun being offered to her.

"Good aim, Kore!" Striker complimented.

"Thank you," Kore said, blushing.

The imp couple shot a bunch of agents at the speed of light.

"Oh, yeah!" Blitzo shouted, getting his team's attention, "I'm gettin' HAAAARD holdin' this motherfucker!" He laughed evilly as out of nowhere a rocket flew out of his backpack.

As the rocket approached, Striker quickly grabbed onto Kore, who held Seth protectively and Dexter.

After the rocket blasted, Moxxie looked around the room in concern. "Oh, crumbs! Is everyone okay?" he asked, only to be jumped on by Blitzo.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Blitz?!" Kore demanded, "You almost killed all of us in this room with that damn rocket!"

"WOOOOOO! How's THAT for demon scum?!" Blitzo said, not paying attention to what his friend said.

"We did good," Dexter said.

Suddenly, an alarm sounded off and the room turned a tinted red, alarming all demons.

"Oh, shit! C'mon, fam! Let's blow this cocksicle joint!" Blitzo commanded.

"Right on, Blitz!" Striker agreed, only for various doors to be closed on them, preventing any means of them escaping.

"Quick! The book!" Moxxie said.

Loona pulled out the Grimoire and opened it, trying in vain to read it. "Shhhit! I can't... I can't read the spell in this light! I can't see dick!" She looked around frantically in the dark room.

"Blitz, weapons!" shouted Seth.

Blitzo searched in vain in his backpack for any weapons. "Well, shit. Looks like we've milked this weapon tit dry, and now we're out of badassery."

"Ha! You demons aren't goin' anywhere now! Haaa!" a female voice taunted.

All of a sudden, the room and office began to cause havoc all around. The TV screens around the room began to flicker as it turned on itself and turned back off, with hints of static appearing on the screen briefly as well. Agents 1 and 2 as well as I.M.P and Loona looked around in confusion at the strange events.

Something growled menacingly and aggressively which echoed throughout the room, catching everyone's attention.

It then spoke in a familiar aristocratic voice, sending a chill down everyone's spine:

"Who DAAAARES threaten... my impish little plaything?"

Dexter and Seth didn't bother to see what was happening since they were too scared to look.

What's the matter, demon hunter? Never seen a REAL demon before? they heard Agent 2's voice say in that aristocratic voice...before dissolving it to the same original male voice.

Suddenly, to everyone's surprise and relief, the lights turned back to normal. Seth and Dexter opened their eyes, adjusting to the light as doors opened. The person who caused this was a familiar owl demon, who stood in front of I.M.P, his four red eyes coldly fixed on Blitzo.

"Stolas? Wha-... A- Wh- Hold on, how did you know that we needed help?" Blitzo asked.

"I have my ways, darling," Stolas replied, "Are you alright?" He caressed Blitzo's face, much to the latter's disgust.

"Ugh. I'm fine, Stolas."

"Mm, good." Stolas then turned angry. "How the FUCK did you get caught by humans? Are you little creatures not being careful up here?! You know, if you get in trouble, I get in trouble! WE don't want that!"

Moxxie pulled Stolas' hand away from Blitzo's cheek, speaking in Blitzo's defense, "They... caught us off guard, your highness."

Blitzo pushed Stolas' feathery hands off him. "Yeah, you can unclench your bird-puss, Stolas. It's not gonna happen again, 'kay?"

Stolas stood up straight in his full height. "Luckily for you... most don't believe the word of the demon-obsessed lunatics." He leered over to the trembling agents, huddling each other. "They are seen as kooks!" He giggled at the word. "Kooks! Such a silly word!" He clapped his hands together. "Now! Let us all return!" With two hands, he formed a portal, which led them to the I.M.P office.

"Dexter?" Striker said to the young hellhound.

"Yeah, Striker?" Dexter asked.

"You've been a good friend to my son."

"As for YOU, Striker," a stern voice caught Striker off-guard, forcing him to turn to the Goetia demon, "I'd like to have a word with you after Blitzy and I FUCK each other up."

Striker sighed with annoyance as if he'd gotten in trouble with his parents. "Yes, Your Highness."
