Slight foreshadowing for Toon School! Two chapter Toon Companions!
Chapter 6: History, Toons, and Trainers?:
Demiyah, Sam, Ryo, Ken, Mikey, Elze, Veemon, Wormmon, Monodramon, Mikemon, and Impmon were walking through the desert of Server. Wormmon as Stingmon scouted ahead and said the desert was being replaced by forest in just under a twenty minute walk. It had only been about fifteen minutes so they still had five to go. Mikey took a swig from his canteen which he was greatful they had been enchanted to refill. Ken said, "Damn, this heat is intense." Demiyah snarked, "You think this is bad, try Tatarus or literal hell some time." Ryo asked perplexed, 'How do you know that?!"
Demiyah said, "The Inferno Armors. Each require either a Celestial to give it power or a Demon. I asked about fourty demons since I have a pass to come and go from hell as I please being technically a goddess and a weilder of the Black Inferno Armor, but every demon I asked said no. They already had contracts with Demon Summoners or straight up weren't interested. Since one of the Ancient Ghost Riders forged the Black Inferno Armor using the same metal the original Rekka Yoroi Armors were forged with deep within the firey pits. Each Armor even the Secondary Armors are bonded with a Spirit. Each Spirit has a special Core that the users take into them until the next heir or heiress is chosen. Some of the Secondary Armors were hidden in other Worlds and I've been doing my best to track them. But it's slow going. Even two of my Silver Millennium bro's aren't having any luck and I know two are in their home world. Then again, Hoppy can't travel his home world properly until next year and Lee is usually busy." Sam asked, "Who are 'Hoppy' and 'Lee' Miya?"
Demiyah laughed, "Hop and Leon Williams. Their from the Pokemon World in the Galar Region. The games haven't introduced us to Galar Region yet. We only barely got Sinnoh a few months ago! I wouldn't be surprised if Galar was Gen 7 or even Gen 8! Leon is the Champion of the Galar Region. He's held the title since he was Ten! He's seventeen now. Hop isn't sure what he wants to do in the future. He wants to be Champion someday, but most League Trainers want that. Spark and Optimus aren't the first Pokemon I've seen. That goes to Hoppy's Wooloo. It's a sheep Pokemon and it's sooo fluffy! I keep begging Lee to help me get my own every time I visit. I just want a fluffy Pokemon to cuddle. I can't seem to sleep very well if I don't have something to cuddle."
As they entered the forest the group was wandering looking for the temple a stone tablet Ken found depicted. Demiyah said the temple looked familiar. When a portal Demiyah recognized opened up. She was quick to use her magic to create a web to let the pair land safely. To the others shock it was a pair of boys one older than the other. Demiyah let the pair down and said, "Hiya Hoppy S'up Lee!" Hop and Leon looked over. Hop said, "Hey Dee! How are you?" Leon asked, "Where are we?" Demiyah replied, "I'm doing good. We're in the Digital World a place that connects to the data of all Worlds. No matter where in the Universe it is. If there's anything I've learned the last couple of years, things like this tend to happen for a reason. So what reason are you two here and what does it have to do with Millenniummon?" The group of heroes including the added two, walked through the forest before Demiyah saw, "Denki? Of course why am I not surprised. Wait, who's the girl and the other blonde?" Veemon cursed and Impmon asked, "Any bright ideas? Cause that's not only Millenniummon's generals, but the one we have to fight too!" Demiyah disaapeared in a flash of pink light. She popped back into existance and startled even Millenniummon a real feat. Demiyah giggled and pulled out a second Miraculous. This one was a bird themed one. It glowed and the creature said, "Hiya I'm Mach the Kwami of the Roadunner Miraculous. I hold the power of Random Chaos. To Transform say Mach Speed Up! To turn back say Mach Slow Down!" Demiyah put the charm on her belt and said, "Mach, Speed Up!" Her suit was once again goggles in lieu of a mask, a red suit with orange gloves and boots. Her hair was in a braid with feathers sticking out of it. Demiyah said, "NamesTricksternice to meetya! Meepmeep!" She sped around the two generals and Millenniummon making them feel dizzy and question what little sanity they had. "Chaos Reign!" It started really getting weird. Raining chocolate milk out of cotton candy clouds, Oompa Loompas showing up in a conga line and the two generals being turned into small bunnies while putting Millenniummon in a tutu. Trickster ran up to the dazed Millenniummon, "IherebydubtheeSirLoinofPork!" Whacking him with a ham. After the dazed digimon left the newcomers asked, "What...was that?" Demiyah said, "Mach, Slow Down!" Before transforming back.
She chuckled and said, "That was certainly an experience. No offense Mach, but I much prefer Lyria. Though the Generals being bunnies is kind of cute. Will that be a permenant thing?" Mach said, "Nope. You used my Miraculous for the first time. Permenant Chaos like that would take at least three years of experience. Besides, your more in tune with Lyria's powers even if you are pretty Toony. I think it's best if I just go back to sleep. But you hold my Miraculous so it's your choice." Demiyah pondered for a moment before inspiration hit her like Wile E. Coyote hit a wall! She walked up to Leon and said, "I know your World needs more heroes than a Kid Ranger who can't even be seen in public often. So I've decided to entrust you with Mach's Miraculous Leon." Leon took the Miraculous in his hand and said, "Thanks little sister. I promise I'll do everything I can to use Mach's power to protect my home and everyone be they people or Pokemon who live there."
After introductions and learning that the last two members of the team were Momoe Inoue and Willis Stewart who was Dex's son along with their partners Penguinmon, Lopmon, and Terriermon. The group kept on walking until they found the temple. Leon asked, "So what's the deal with this temple anyhow?" Ken said, "I don't know but the tablet I found had carvings of humans and Millenniummon. So this place might hold the key we need to defeat him." A cloaked figure stood at the doors of the Temple. "Ah, I've been expecting you all. Follow me please." Demiyah said, "Well, my Empathy isn't screaming at me like it normally does with enemies. So this means we can trust whoever this is. For now." The group followed the cloaked figure down into a room where there were caves. Two Digimon a Dorumon and a Gazimon stood next to him. The cloaked figure said, "Dorumon belongs to Hop while Gazimon belongs to Leon. There is a reason you each came here. Not by mere chance. However, these are needed first." The cloaked figures appeared with the Crests and Tags for their team! Handing them to their respective Digidestined. "Ryo's Crest is Justice. Ken's Crest is Kindness. Sam's Crest is Empathy. Yutaka's Crest is Responsibility. Momoe's Crest is Compassion. Mikey's Crest is Determination. Denki's Crest is Loyalty. Willis' Crest is Faith. Leon's Crest is Honor. Hop's Crest is Wisdom. Mirabel's is the Crest of Creativity. Camillo's is the Crest of Adaptability. And finally, Demiyah's Crest is Miracles. Each door is marked by your Crest. They all lead to two rooms a different one first and then the Inner Sanctum. You must enter the idividual rooms first but one at a time." Ryo's crest glowed prompting him to enter the room that matched.
(Ryo)
Ryo and Monodramon wandered the hall until they cam to the first door. Monodramon squeezed Ryo's hand as he opened the door. The room disappeared for a moment as he saw flashes of a boy around his age. He had brown hair like his and violet eyes. He had a unknown Digimon. He assumed the Digimon was from a different sector. He saw armor emblazoned with the crest of Justice and a raiper was in the boys hand. The boy handed Ryo a strange charm before smiling in an odd way.
The vision faded as the second door was revealed. Ryo opened it to find the cloaked figure.
(Sam)
Sam's crest glowed next as he entered his door. Impmon following by his side. The first door opened to cause the room to vanish. Sam then saw visions of a girl who looked similar to him and Ken wearing armor emblazoned with his Crest of Empathy. A naginata was in her hand. A tiger digimon was by her side. She handed Sam a strange charm before she turned away.
The vision faded to reveal the second door. Sam opened the door to reveal Ryo, Monodramon, and the cloaked figure.
(Ken)
Ken's crest glowed next as he carried Wormmon into the door. The first door vanished to reveal a vision of a young man who looked almost like him and Sam wearing armor emblazoned with his Crest of Kindness. A bo staff was in his hand. An insect digimon was by the boy's side. The boy gave Ken a strange charm that looked like wings.
The vision faded to reveal the second door. Ken entered to reveal Sam, Ryo, Impmon, Monodramon, and the cloaked figure.
(Mikey)
Mikey's crest glowed as he and Mikemon entered the door that corresponded with his crest. the door vanished as the pair saw a man who almost looked like Mikey and Demiyah. He had armor with the Crest of Determination emblazoned on it and a War Hammer in his hand. A feline digimon by the man's side.
The vision soon faded to reveal the second door. Mikey opened the door to reveal Sam, Ken, Ryo, Monodramon, Impmon, Wormmon, and the cloaked figure. Finding a cat like charm in his pocket.
(Denki)
Denki's crest flashed as he and Kunemon walked in the first door. The door vanished as Denki saw a young man with a device on his wrist in armor with his Crest of Loyalty emblazoned a strange Digimon by his side and a cutlass in his hand. Denki's Dino Bracelet glowed as the young man turned to him and said, "You uphold the legacy I left behind well Denki Kaminari. I am Kaminari Ryuuji I was the Rail Rescue Force Green Ranger. I was born in the Eltar System on the Planet Rashon. My father sealed the Savage Sword and my mother sent me to Earth in Hopes of Hiding the Galaxy Book. Except it was stolen from me. I was sent into intergalactic slavery when I was rescued by Miraya the Rail Rescue Force Pink Ranger and her best friend Sochiro The Rail Rescue Force Red Ranger. Together we faced many threats to the Multiverse. Miraya and I even joining to help fight Millenniummon when he was sent to the past by Diomedes. Gennai, who was Diomedes inside man with the Digital Guardians captured the Agumon meant for Ryo Akiyama and with the help of DATS turned him into Millenniummon. Diomedes then sent his right hand man Luxu to send the Digimon into the past to capture Princess Serenity. But he severely overshot the time period. Sending Millenniummon hundreds of thousands of years into the past. When the very first Virtue Senshi were chosen. And the Crest of the Millennium Soldiers were formed. I can't stay but know that I will be with you if you ever need my guidance. All you have to do is open your Heart to the Grid."
Ryuuji after handing Denki a beetle charm faded as the second door appeared. Denki scooped up Kunemon and felt slightly light headed as he entered.
(Leon)
Leon's crest glowed as he and Gazimon enterd the room. The door faded as he saw a young man with a dragon digimon by his side. Wearing armor embalzoned with the Crest of Honor. He had a pair of sais on his sides. The young man looked at Leon and simply nodded before fading. A strange charm in Leon's hand after the man faded.
Leon entered the second door with his partner wondering just what was going on.
(Momoe)
Momoe's crest flashed as she and Penguinmon entered the first room. The door vanished to reveal a young woman in armor emblazoned with the Crest of Compassion. A bo staff that could seperate into twin lightsabers was in her hand a strange device that looked identical to Ryuuji's (not that Momoe knew that) was on her wrist. A bird Digimon was by her side. The girl said, "I can't stay long but I'll tell you straight up my name is Miraya I'm a Power Ranger from the Rail Rescue Force. a team that was from the Eltar System, your World to protect the multiverse. I was born on what is known as the Deserted Planet. It was once called Cerestria a planet known for the Arts and Science. My best friend came from Rafcon. I have to warn you, the girl your family believes is your sister named Yolei is a liar. She is the daughter of the wicked Diomedes and his traitorous Mauan wife Luna. You have to protect the Princess from her. By any means Neccesary." Miraya before she faded handed Momoe a strang charm. After she faded Momoe went through the second door with Penguinmon.
(Yutaka)
Yutaka's crest glowed as he and Bearmon entered the first door. The door vanished as a girl who looked similar to him and Tommy appeared with a strange digimon. She wore armor emblazoned with his Crest of Responsibility. The strange digimon dropped an odd thing before fading. Yutaka picked it up and saw it almost looked like a charm of a bear made of snow. Which made no sense. Yutaka pocketed the charm before going with his partner through the second door.
(Mirabel)
Mirabel's crest glowed as she and Lunamon entered the first door. Inside was a very familiar man and a wolf like digimon by his side. The man wore armor with her Crest of Creativity and held a trident in his hand. The man looked Mirabel's way as she whispered, "Abuelo Pedro." He kissed her forhead as he muttered something she didn't fully understand but she felt something ignite within her. Pedro and his Digimon faded as she realized she had a wolf charm in her hand. She put the charm in her dress pocket and went through the second door.
(Camillo)
Camillo's crest flashed as he and Coronamon went through the first door. There was a woman he was certain he knew. It wasn't Abuela Alma, but someone else. Someone powerful. She had a lion digimon with her. The woman wore armor emblazoned with his Crest of Adaptability holding nunchakku in her hands. She gave him a coy grin and a wink before leaving him with a strange Lion charm.
Camillo pocketed the charm. Then he and Coronamon entered the second door to find the others.
(Willis)
Willis' crest glowed as he, Terriermon, and Lopmon entered the first door. The first door faded to reveal a young Edenite man who had a Rabbitmon by his side. He had armor emblazoned with the Crest of Faith with a crossbow in his hand. The young man turned and said, "I am Erion. The biological father of King Dex of Edenoi." Willis said in shock, "Then that means..." Erion chuckled, "Yes Willis. I am your grandfather. You were born with a rare gift Willis. To call on the Masked Riders of the Past. This power will be with you from now on. And so will I. Until the Universe Ends. For now we must part. But we will meet again soon." Erion handed Willis a charm that was rabbit shaped before fading. Willis pocketed the charm and took his partners through the second door.
(Hop)
Hop's crest glowed as he and Dorumon entered the first door. The door faded to reveal a woman who looked almost identical to him and Leon with a strange fairy digimon by her side. The woman wore Armor emblazoned with his Crest of Wisdom a Buster Sword on her back. The woman said, "The past is at it seems. Take it from someone who was sent through time on multiple occasions. There's more to Diomedes' plans than just wanting to take the Princess' throne. You need to protect her. This should help out." Hop was handed a charm that looked like a ten point star. Before the girl faded and the second door revealed itself to Hop. He went though with Dorumon to find everyone but Demiyah.
(Demiyah)
Demiyah's crest glowed as she and Veemon went though her first door. The door faded as Demiyah saw a girl who looked like her with a strange Digimon with her. She wore armor emblazoned with the Crest of Miracles and held a Bow with magical arrows in her hands. The girl turned and to her surprise it was her grandmother as Princess Serenity! Then Princess Andromeda Rosalina Ceres Moonview the sixth! Andromeda said, "My descendant, Diomedes has even worse planned for our throne. Your fellows have been given something that will help them fight by your side. Now I gift you this." She handed Demiyah a charm that looked like a shooting star only it was made of multi colored crystals. As Andromeda faded she said, "Good luck Granddaughter and may the Moon's Light guide your path."
Demiyah entered the room with the others and asked, "What was it we saw? And who are you?!" The cloaked figure said, "You saw the Millennium Soldiers warriors from different planets, worlds, and times brought together by your Crests. To fight Millenniummon. They only sealed him because the Crest told them of the events that caused Millenniummon to become as he is now." Ryo asked, "So what are these charms? We all have one." The cloaked figure said, "Those charms hold the essences of powerful heroes. Unlike Summon Charms, those are Synchro Charms that allow you to use the powers of the Hero Essences sealed inside. As for who I am..." The cloaked figure removed his cloak to reveal a man about twenty five maybe thirty. "I am called Therius. I am the grandson of Zordon of Eltar. I alongside Jackie are the True Digital Guardians. Jackie is currently sealed away, So until he is freed I will do what I can to help you."
The new generation of Millennium Soldiers accepted their new Armors and Weapons as they heard an explosion.
Demiyah fired a Light Arrow and destroyed the strange Shadow Creature. Which Therius said, "They come from the Dark Ocean. Servants of Dragomon. They take the form of Divermon to trick Keepers of Light into falling to their master. Keep clear of them. They are very dangerous. They ensnare young maidens by taking them to become their Masters 'Queen' but the first time this happend, the Original Laylamon was created. Dragomon broke her thuroughly. The Original Demon Lords saved her by turning her into one of them. From then on, she served Fanglongmon within the Center loyally. There are two who will be important to one of yours in danger down there. For now, this is where we part Soldiers."
Demiyah healed the downed Toons. One was a coyote with pink shoes and the other looked like a strange combination of an anthromorphic rabbit, dog, and cat wearing brown slacks. They woke up and once they were introduced the dog like Toon said, "I'm Yakko Warner. This is Calamity Coyote."
The group found an easy to defend space and ate dinner in silence still processing everything they learned that day. Calamity and Yakko falling asleep by Demiyah. Neither one understanding why she was so important to them.
