(3 days after the siege of the North Pole)
Katara awoke covered in sweat panting for breath in her sleep next to Naruto, Korra, and Suki.
Toph, Asami, Jinora, and Ikki were watching the amnesiac azula along with Ty Lee and Mai in another room on the ship
They were all in their own room in the ship the northern water tribe were using to escort them to the Earth Kingdom
"Katara?" Naruto questioned as he also woke up after hearing her wake up "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine, just a bad dream" Katara said as she sighed and laid down next to her lover and rested her head on his chest. She didn't really want to talk about how that dream was of her seeing herself in the avatar state from the other perspective as she tore through fire nation soldiers and ships when imbued with power by the moon and ocean spirits.
Naruto frowned at this but hugged Katara close at this. Letting her rest close to him so she could fall gently asleep in his arms for the night.
So she could rest easy.
"Look if you're gonna fuck in the middle of the night can you two at least wake me up with Naruto's dick in me" Korra groaned as their actions woke her up

Even with her own distrust and hatred of the fire nation at the forefront of her mind

Up on the deck of the ship everyone else was waking up before they heard what sounded like banging coming from down below the ship

"You and Azula, speaking of where is she?" Mai asked
"I think she's listening by the door" Toph shrugged. She still couldn't see due to being on a wooden ship so she had to rely on sound only
"I'm on it" Ty Lee said as she flipped back on her feet to go get Azula
"No you don't! You're gonna try and join in!" Mai said as she grabbed Ty Lee by the back of her shirt

"The fact he's been checking you out and you have been licking your lips at him and winking at him" Mai said flatly
"You're just imagining things" Ty Lee told her

"What shrine?" Jinora and Mai asked confused
"I saw her go into a store room where there was a hidden picture of Naruto completely nude she went to look at next to a picture of the princess also nude" Ikki said 'helpfully'
"I have no such thing!" Ty Lee denied while internally panicking as she had no idea anyone else knew of her hidden shrine
"I'lI go get Azula. You stay here" Mai said flatly as she pushed Ty Lee towards appa
Mai went down the stairs into the ship and spotted Azula was indeed in front of Naruto's door with her ear against the door.

when she looked her eyes widened at what she saw

"Before you depart Avatar and Sage we have gifts for you and your team." Pakku said as he gestured to several water tribe warriors holding items.
"First for Katara. This is water from the spirit oasis. It is very powerful and could be quite useful in healing someone grievously harmed. However there is only enough for one use so use it wisely" Pakku told her as he handed her an ornate vial of water
"Thank you master," Katara said with a bow and a smile.
"For Korra advanced waterbending scrolls from my personal library and written by me." Pakku said as he handed her a set of 3 scrolls.
"Thanks master," Korra said with a grin on her face at the idea of learning more advanced waterbending from the scrolls.
"For the Kiyoshi warrior we have given you a water tribe weaponry set of a club and boomerang. May they serve you well if needed" Pakku said to Suki as Sokka approached and handed them to her
"Huh, interesting" Suki said and bowed in gratitude. She'd probably be able to use them proficiently enough if needed
"For the inventor we have a scroll on mines that the north and southern water tribes have created and their ingredients. May they serve you well" Pakku said as Sokka handed a scroll to Asami
"Stink and sink? Huh these could be useful. I wonder if I can make this one burn those trapped with some capsaicin applied" Asami muttered as she looked at one of the net mines. Already getting ideas for new inventions
"For the airbenders we have a scroll on the water tribe festivals celebrated by the north and southern water tribes as well as a scroll on animals commonly found in the northern and southern water tribes. Including survival tips" Pakku said
"Who's Platypus Bear Grylls?" Ikki questioned seeing the writer
"The author. Pay it no mind. It was a nickname after he fought survived a platypus bear attack
"For the Earthbender we have a large hammer." pakku said as he handed a water tribe styled sledge hammer to Toph that was about half her height which she held one handed
"... hehehehahahaHAHAHAHA!!" Toph cackled maniacally at the damage she could do with this thing
"Calm down or no anal" Naruto whispered into Toph's ear
Toph went silent at this but put the hammer on her belt
"And for the sage of six paths ……. A saying of gratitude. Best of luck" Pakku told him simply as he patted Naruto on his shoulder

Naruto and Toph got on Pyra while everyone else got on Appa
"Now when you arrive at the Earth Kingdom base, speak to General Fong. While he is planning a recapture of Omashu he is willing to send a small escort of Earth benders with you to Ba Sing Se" Pakku told Katara
"Understood master," Katara said before Appa and Pyra took off towards the base.
"... now who's turn is it to clean the sage's room?" Pakku asked as every soldier pointed at Sokka
"... dammit" Sokka sighed as he grabbed a mop and went down to Naruto's room.

(With Iroh and Zuko)
The fire nation prince and his uncle were currently running through a forest of the earth kingdom. Their top knots were now cut and they were in regular earth kingdom style clothes.
See after they had escaped the North Pole, the two made it to a small Fire nation settlement in the earth kingdom.
…… Where they discovered they were wanted fugitives for betrayal. So the two fled after Iroh created a large blast of fire to blind everyone with smoke. Now the two were on the run from the fire nation.
For now they were looking for anywhere they could hide from their pursuers. While they were technically traitors and admittedly powerful fire benders, they wanted to avoid fighting people of their homeland just doing their duty if possible.
"Prince Zuko over there" Iroh said as the two came upon a cave nearby. Zuko nodded as the two ran inside the cave to escape the fire nation soldiers
"We should probably think of new names if we're gonna keep away from any fire nation forces," Zuko said with a sigh. He hated having to hide who he was but he knew they couldn't afford to be found.
They had too many enemies on multiple sides.
"Indeed. How about Lee for you?" Iroh suggested
"As much as I hate the idea of a common name like that there are a million Lee's so i won't stand out. As for you……. Mushi?" Zuko suggested
Iroh nodded at this after a moment since he couldn't be too picky since he didn't want to stand out.
Also he had no better names so it would have to do.
"Where did they go?!" A throng of voices yelled outside the cave
"Search for them! The fire lord wants them dead or alive!" Another voice yelled as the two saw fire nation soldiers running about trying to find them……. And none of them looking in the cave.
"... this is what pases for the fire nation military these days?" Iroh deadpanned
"They need better training but for now let's move" Zuko said as the two went deeper in the cave to escape line of sight.
"Where are we even going to go?" Iroh asked his nephew
"Well we could find a place to lay low in the Earth kingdom. Maybe a city?" Zuko suggested
"Hmm that could be dangerous. If we are found out be firebenders the earth kingdom will have us killed." Iroh said stroking his beard
"And if the fire nation finds us we'll be taken to my father" Zuko said as the two looked at each other
"Earth kingdom it is" they both said simultaneously as they stopped to rest while waiting to see if anyone would enter the cave hunting them.

(Earth Kingdom Base)
Pyra and Appa flew down towards a large military base filled with earth kingdom soldiers all waiting and standing at attention while a large, rotund man with a cape stood with a smile
"I am General Fong. I bid you welcome great heroes! Powerful Avatar Katara, Wise sage Naruto, Mighty Korra, Inventor extraordinaire Asami, Toph the Terror, Ikki the hyper, Jinora the swift, Suki the brave!" General Fong yelled happily as his forces bowed
Katara smiled at this glad she was finally recognized as the Avatar after the battle at the north pole
"Toph the terror? Hmm…… I like it!" Toph grinned maliciously as several soldiers sent large rocks into the sky which exploded into fireworks
"... I didn't know that was a thing Earthbenders had" Ty Lee admitted as she helped Azula step off Appa
"Ah and who are your friends?" Fong asked as he looked at them as they seemed familiar to him
"They are friends of ours and that's all you need to know" Naruto said firmly
"Very well. My men shall escort you all to your quarters. I would in the meantime like to speak with The avatar and sage" General Fong said acquiescing to this.
"Of course," Katara said with a smile as she and Naruto followed the general.
'I don't trust this guy' Naruto thought to himself before he approached Toph "keep an eye on that guy and his men if they make any moves that are suspicious do whatever you need to. Make them cry and plead for mercy if needed." Naruto told her in a whisper
toph smirked lightly at thus "you are so hot right now I'm tempted to fuck you in front of everyone" she whispered back
"Save it for later" Naruto smirked before he groped her ass hard before he kept walking making Toph growl playfully at him

Naruto and Katara were standing in front of General Fong. While the others were behind them. Their quarters were stocked fairly quickly so they joined in the meeting.
'Dammit I was hoping I'd only be meeting with the avatar and sage. No matter. I can still put everything in motion' Fong thought
"I was most impressed with what was reported about your battle at the north pole Avatar and Sage. Meteors dropping from the sky, taking out a third of an armada with only the two of you, and even becoming a creature imbued with the power of the spirits" Fong said with a smile
"Well it was a group effort. The northern tribe helped a lot with teaching me and my sister water bending" Katara said with a smile
"Yes but it was still you two who turned the tides in your favor. Let me be frank avatar and sage, I believe you two are ready to face the fire lord now!" Fong told them
This got surprised looks from everyone but Naruto
"And we're out" Naruto said as he rolled his eyes
"Excellent we'll head for the fire na- wait what?" Fong asked as if he didn't hear him correctly
"I said we're not doing this. We need to do this the right way. Katara as the avatar must master all 4 elements. So far she has one mastered and is learning 2 right now. We're not doing this whole you heard our power was vast bs and have us sent to fight the fire lord and get us inevitably killed. Nope. Not happening. No dice. Go save your spiel for when you need to sell a used carriage" Naruto told him
"So we should just let the war continue while you take your time learning the elements? Let people's homes be destroyed, their livelihoods burned to ash, their loved ones cremated before their very eyes?" Fong asked hotly in fury
As fong ranted Mai and Ty Lee frowned at this as they knew there was truth to this but Azula who was next to them her eyes widened slowly as she heard all this and she started to hyperventilate
"See your friend there is sickened by this and yet you would allow this to continue?" Fong asked gesturing to Azula
"Leave her out of this" Naruto told him as he glared and his rinnegan activated to enhance his shown fury
Azula, who was still hyperventilating, fell to her knees from everything she had heard. Gripping her chest to try and breathe easier
"Azula!" Ty Lee yelled as she ran to her friend along with Mai and held her close to calm her down
"Azula? Princess Azula of the fire nation?" Fong asked with a glare
"Crap" Korra said as she and the others took ready stances as Fong's men took their own stances
Toph said nothing and instantly stomped her foot and sent Fong's desk into his face sending Him back from The surprise attack
"You dare bring fire nation filth Into my base?!" Fong growled out
"She has no memory of who she is and she's having a panic attack from this information about her nation" katara said firmly as she readied her water
"Irrelevant! The sins of her nation shall be weighed against her! Men! Capture the fire nation princess alive! The rest are to be killed!"
His men went to attack but they were sent flying by Ikki and Jinora who together filled the room with rushing winds
"You would protect the princess of the people who nearly made your kind extinct?!" Fong demanded as he made an earth shield
"Better her than you asshole!" Toph yelled as she encased herself in earth armor and charged at Fong's men and smashed through them and through a wall
"Azula come on!" Ty Lee said to her friend who was still hyperventilating and shaking while Ty Lee tried to bring her away from the action. As she did this one soldier rushed at them with a rock covered fist but found his leg suddenly stabbed with throwing knives.
"Next one is going more north" Mai said with a glare as she readied more knives in her hands.
Another soldier with a spear went at her from behind intending to impale Mai
Azula spotted this and seeing her friend about to be killed, enraged her. Without thinking she pointed her fingers at the soldier and fired a blast of azure fire at the man. Blasting him and burning him as he screamed from the intense heat charring his flesh.
"AAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!" The man yelled in pure agony from the sheer heat
"Oh spirits!" Azula muttered in horror as she looked at her hands in horror.
Fong growled at this and sent some rocks at Azula but Naruto appeared in front of her and blocked the attack's way thanks to an almighty push.
"You dare protect her?" Fong agrily growled
"You picked a fight asshole. And unfortunately for you I have a storied career of ending fights picked by assholes" Naruto told him as he cracked his neck
Fong growled at this before he made a motion with his hands which trapped Katara in some earth which started to slowly suck her in
"If you want the avatar to live you'll surrender the princess and do as I say sage!" Fong yelled
"Hurt her and I promise I will tear your soul from your body and send it to hell personally!" Naruto growled as he took a step forward to which Fong made Katara sink further in
"I'm not afraid to kill her. I still have you to use az my weapon so try me sage" Fong warned as he made her sink further
Katara was now buried up to her neck and before she could sink further her eyes flashed blue
"Oh shit!" Naruto said as he backed up before….
BOOM!
The earth floor encasing Katara was sent flying as she started to float in the air
surrounded by a swirling vortex of earth. The tower they all once stood in was now shattered and decimated. The soldiers sent flying out of what remained of the tower to the ground below
"We need to get out of here!" Asami yelled at her group
"Powerful Avatar! I beseech you! Destroy the fire nation princess and then destroy the Fire lord in the name of balance!" Fong demanded as he figured he could beseech the avatars of old inhabiting Katara having some knowledge of the avatar and how they inhabited their future selves.
Katara looked down at Fong and glared at him before she raised her hands and made a thrusting motion with her hands sending some air at the general who blocked it with an earth shield
"You dare attac-" Fong was saying before the wall he was using slammed into him sending him flying to the ground below
Katara glared at fong before she made a motion with her hands which turned the earth around fong into sand and started to encase his arms holding him in place
"Big deal! I can stop this easi- gasp! Hugggh!" Started to choke as air was suddenly pulled out of his lungs and started to swirl around his head like a bubble depriving him of breath.
katara made a circling Motion with her hands and arms to Keep this going as he slowly started to sink into the quicksand "YOU WILL PAY FOR TRYING TO CONTROL THE AVATAR!" Katara yelled in a voice made of many voices simultaneously
"Katara stop!" Naruto yelled at her "don't let your past lives bloody your hands! It's not worth it!" He yelled
Katara looked at Naruto at this before she stopped what she was doing and her eyes closed and Fong fell to the floor panting for breath Katara fell and Naruto caught her as she groaned in exhaustion
"Sorry" she mumbled as she was so tired now after all of that.
"It's ok" Naruto told her as he brushed some hair out of her eyes and smiled at her
"Hahaha! That was amazing! That power! It can crush the fire lord in seconds!!" Fong cackled out from the ground
"You're frigging crazy" Naruto told him with a glare.
"We'll find out once we get you two are brought to the fire nat-" Fong was saying before
CLANG!!!
He was cracked in the head by a boomerang that then went to Suki's hands after
"Anyone have a problem with that?" Suki asked
"Or do you want the same as what Toph did to your friends?" Korra asked as she gestured to Toph who was literally holding a man three time her size by his leg and smashing him into 5 soldiers like a club
"Say uncle!" She demanded
"We said it 15 times!!" One of them yelled
"I can't hear you over you crying like little bitches!" Toph yelled before she smashed the soldier down on his friends again
"Toph they got the message…. Right?" Naruto asked the soldiers
"Yes! By the spirits yes! I'll give you whatever you want! Take my wallet even!! Just make it stop!!" One soldier begged while crying
"bah! you all suck! I didn't even get to use my hammer!" Toph groaned as she let the guy down
"I'm n-not down yet Fong groaned as he grabbed Naruto's leg
"You may hit him with the hammer" Naruto told her gesturing to Fong
"Sweet! Come get it you little bitch!" Toph cackled as she held her hammer and ran at Fong like she was about to do a strength testing mallet game
"I'm not scared of a blind- oh spirits my spine!" Fong yelled in agony as he felt his spine snap and crack from the force of Toph's hammer strike.
"Ah that was fun!" Toph grinned as she reholstered her hammer.
"Do you still want the escort to Ba sing se?" A soldier groaned out from the floor
"Nah we're good" Korra said as she wanted to leave this place
Everyone left and headed outside to get on Appa and Pyra
"You ok?" Naruto asked Azula as she got on Pyra behind him
"... I killed someone" she muttered as pyra took off
"No you defended a friend. He was gonna kill Mai. He made his choice." Naruto told her
Azula said nothing to this as she slowly hugged Naruto as Pyra flew "is my nation evil?" she asked dreading the answer
"The nation as a whole no. At least I don't think so. The people in charge….. yes" Naruto admitted
"So my father is evil?" She questioned as she frowned
"Well from what I heard he scarred your brother for talking back and wishing to save lives" Naruto told her
"…..I have a brother?" Azula asked as she smiled a little at the thought and hoped to meet him one day.
Meanwhile Ty Lee and Mai looked at this new Azula with smiles. While also dreading what may come from her remembering everything of her old self.
(With Zuko)
Zuko was in a small earth kingdom village in a house that had some villagers that were helping them after Iroh had made some tea out of a poisonous plant. After confusing it for a rare delicious tea plant.
As Zuko walked through the village he came across a small merchant stand in front of a shop with two things that stood out to him.
A set of dual dao swords and a blue and white demon mask
As Zuko looked at the items a nobleman pushed him out of the way as he walked by "out of the way peasant!" The nobleman sneered as he walked inside the merchants shop
"You missed your payment Hun" the nobleman sneered at the merchant inside
"Oh please milord! I need the money to feed my wife and child!" The merchant begged
"You should have thought of that before working like common swine. Either give me my payment in one hour or I'll have my 'associates' pay your wife a little visit" the nobleman sneered as he left
Zuko clenched his fists at this as he threw the merchant a gold coin before he threw on the mask and took the blades and started to follow the nobleman
He followed them across a rooftop and soon saw him meet with two brutish men in an alleyway
"Hun hasn't paid me go pay his wife a visit. Do whatever you want to her. I gave him an hour but it'll be more appropriate for the swine to beg for mercy on her half. Take her as a slave, kill her, whatever you want" the nobleman told them
Before his men could say anything two blades were under there bosses neck in a threatening way
"How about I give some orders to you instead" Zuko said eerily calm to the nobleman and his thugs
"How dare you?! Do you know who I am?!" The nobleman growled
"I know your dead if you so much as twitch" Zuko said as he cut into his neck slightly for emphasis "you two if you value your lives you'll leave him here and walk out of this village. Walk as far as you can. If you think you've walked far enough keep walking. Or I'll slice out your intestines and choke you with them" Zuko told the two thugs
The two men paled at this as they could tell he wasn't bluffing before they ran off
"And now for you. Tell me do you like using people like you do? do you feel anything for your own people? zuko asked as he gripped his blades
"What do you want from me? Money? Women? …. Men? Name your price! Just don't kill me!" The nobleman begged
"How many people have begged you before now? How many?!" Zuko demanded
"How many pieces of bread does one eat in their lifetime? How many ants do you count that you've stepped on?" The nobleman said with a defiant tone as he scoffed. Why should he care for the lives of commoners after all
Zuko growled at this before in a flash of his blades he cut off the man's head sending it rolling across the dirt
'piece of trash' zuko thought as he rummaged through the man's robes and found several bags of gold and silver pieces

The merchant who was just threatened was panicking and gathering money in his store before he heard some cheering outside. Curious he walked out to see what was happening.
"You won't believe it Hun! Some guy in a mask dropped bags of money on the ground and said that the nobleman of this town won't be bothering us anymore!" A villager told him as she was scooping up handfuls of gold and silver coins.
"Oh my!" Hun said in awe before looking at his merchant table and seeing a bag of money with a note.

"Thank you blue spirit! Thank you!" the merchant cried tears of joy. Unknowing that Zuko was nearby without the mask smiling as he walked back towards the family's house where he left his uncle.
