The arena was a lot bigger than what he imagined it would be, but to be fair he imagined they would be fighting in a plain field. Did Hell even have those? Probably, Millies parents were farmers after all, so it was likely they were some around. Wait, he was getting off topic.

Peter looked around and saw that the arena was the size of a football field, with a rather large platform right in the middle of it. The platform in questioned seemed to be made out of some sort of stone, but it had her logo on it while also being black in color. The arena also had seats all around it but in one particular spot, there seemed to be a sort of booth, if Peter had to take a guess, it had to be where Verosika and her pack hung out in.

"You're telling me the skank had this sort of place this entire time? If she has this kind of fucking money, then why did she have to get a room in the building we work at! Coincidence my ass!" Blitz crossed his arms as him and the rest took their seats in the spectator portion of the arena.

"Maybe it was sir? Oh, who am I kidding, she's obviously wanting to get back at you sir." Moxxie commented as he led Millie to her seat. She smiled in kind and gave him a quick peck as they both sat down.

Loona stared down at Peter from the stands as he looked back up at her and gave her a smile and wave, which she returned with her own as he turned back around. In front of him were Verosika and Vortex, both were waiting for him. Once he reached the center, Verosika smirked as she snapped her fingers. Instantly the arena was filled to the brim with demons.

"What the.." Peter muttered as he looked around, each of the vacant seats now had an occupant in them. "This wasn't part of the deal!" He shouted as he pointed to her, which she just giggled. "I never recall saying we wouldn't have an audience." Just as he was about to say something, he instantly shut the thought down.

She was right, they never said she couldn't pull this sort of stunt and now because of it, he had to be even more careful with how he fought. Sure, they may be in Hell but that didn't mean he had the luxury of not trying to protect his secret identity. He had a slight feeling that she planned this though, to show the world his abilities, and while she may not know the full extent of them, she clearly saw enough at the studio to pique he interst.

'Damnit Parker, had you stayed calm then none of this would have happened.' He berated himself internally, Verosika on the other hand just smirked before looking up at the stands. She scanned the audience until she found the people she was looking for. Once she found them, she gave them a twisted smile while also flipping them off.

Loona and Blitz stood up as they glared down at the succubus. "That whore! She's doing this on purpose!" Loona growled out as she felt a hand on her lower back. She snapped back to see Millie just frowning and shaking her head. "But we can't do anything from here, if we try to interfere then it'll just paint a target in our backs, but also on Peter. Remember, he also made a bet against her, and if we try anything then he loses." Millie explained to Loona to try and calm down the temperamental hound down.

"That may be so M, but we can't just sit here as she plays us like some sex toys!" Blitz argued, only for Moxxie to intervene as well. "Sir, we can't do anything in our current positions. You heard Millie, we try anything and it's over. Right now, we must have faith in Peter. He'll think of something, he always does."

"I can't think of anything." Peter muttered to himself as he tried to find a solution that would allow him to get out of this mess. Unfortunately, every solution he thought of either ended up with him losing the bet, or them fighting their way out of there. Neither seemed ideal in any way. For right now, he would just have to roll with it until he could think of something.

Vortex just stared at Peter, not saying a word. It was more like he was studying him, finding anything he could use against the human but something about him seemed off. He couldn't place his finger on it, but he didn't like it. Not one bit.

Verosika then ushered the silence of the audience as she bought a microphone to her mouth. "Welcome everyone! So glad that you could make it! Now for tonight's show, we're doing something a little different, tonight we're having a matchup between my personal bodyguard, and a human! Isn't that exciting?" The crowd cheered with anticipation as Verosika soaked in the cheers.

"Let's give our fighters a round of applause! You will also be able to place your bet on the winner using your phone so be sure to vote on the winner! And with that out of the way, the fight will now start shortly!" And with that she handed the microphone to one of the workers.

She then made her way to Peter, who just glared at her. Once she reached him, she leaned down to his ear. "Remember our little bet, you lose and your mine! Oh, and be sure to give a good show. I rather not build up a bad reputation you know, though I guess you could say it's ironic coming from me, right?" She stood back up, giggling to herself as she walked away from him. "Have fun, my little Peter!~"

Even with all the noise around her, Loona was still able to hear what Verosika called Peter and boy did she fucking hate it. If she could rip out that whores throat out she would, but unfortunately, she wouldn't have the chance to. At least not yet anyways. That did little to calm her anger as she stared down at her lover with worried eyes. If only Blitz hadn't dragged him into this, he could have been back home with her. Both of them could have been quality time together but no, because of some stupid parking space, he was now fighting in this big ass arena.

"You okay Hun?" Millie asked Loona, who in turn just huffed. She just shook her head as she gripped the seat with her claws. "Why him?" She quietly asked as the sound of the audience faded to the outside world between the two. Like if Millie understood, she sighed as she looked down at her precious son. "Because that's just who he is." She stated simply, she knew they had this conversation before but that didn't mean it hurt less each time. If anything, it hurt more.

"Some might even say, why not him." Loona narrowed her eyes at the last sentence as she clenched her jaw. "Why do we always put him into these sorts of situations? Why does he always have to clean up after our messes, fight our fights? We should be the ones down there, not him." The fight hadn't even started yet and here she was, already on the verge of tears. How desperately she wanted to just take Peter and hold him in her arms and tell him he was safe, that he didn't have to fight anymore.

Though with most things in life, it would never be that simple. For as long as someone was in trouble, or if someone needed saving, or even if they just needed a helping hand, Peter would always be there to save the day, be it as Spider-Man, or Peter parker. It was just like Millie said, it was because that's just who he was.

Peter and Vortex stared each other down, as the countdown began. "Nothing personal kid. Just following orders." Vortex commented as he took off his jacket and threw it to the side. Peter did the same as he took off his hoodie, revealing his plain teal t-shirt underneath. "Eh it's fine, I get it. Nothing I'm used to. Sorry about calling you a walking carpet." Peter apologized as the clock was nearing zero.

Vortex just smiled as he waved it off. "No hard feelings. It happens." Peter just nodded in response as the clock reached zero. Everyone stared in anticipation as both fighters didn't move.

Peter was still trying to find a way to get out of this mess but like usual, his mind was completely blank. Rather he was paying more attention towards his opponent, while he did have more experience fighting the villains back on Earth, he at least knew the scale of their powers. Vortex on the other hand, he had no clue how strong, or how fast he was.

It didn't help that he might have the infamous bloodlust that the others warned him about. All in all, he was in the dark right now. He just had to be patient and study his opponents moves and try not to make a mistake. If only he had his web-shooters, this would be a lot easier, but with a crowd this big? It just wasn't worth it. He wasn't going to use it with Verosika watching, much less in a huge crowd of people.

Hold on, maybe he had an idea but he would have to try and get close enough for Loona to see him, but he also had to make sure Verosika wasn't watching. He wasn't too worried about the other demons, but he knew that Verosika would be keeping a close eye on him.

It was then that Vortex made his move and he began to charge towards Peter. 'Damn it, if I fight back here or even match him in strength it's gonna seem suspicious. I'll just have to roll with the punches for now. Loona is so gonna kill me for this.'

Peter braced for impact as Vortex made contact with Peter, he slammed his entire body against Peter who just took the hit. Peter was pushed a few feet back as he went slightly flying thanks to the hit. "Oh God, I think one of my bones is broken... Nope, just my dignity." He muttered under his breath as he began to slowly stand up. This was going to be a lot harder than he thought.

Vortex shook his shoulder off as he stared at the human before him. Why didn't he move? Why did he just take the hit? He had many questions, but he doubted he would get an answer right now, much less a straight one. He was just going to go with this act, but one thing that kept bugging him were the humans' eyes. The minute he looked into them, he could tell that he was a fighter, a fierce one at that.

The crowd was just cheering non-stop, they got even louder when they saw that the human was quickly brought down. "Now this is true entertainment!" One screeched out. "Kick his fucking ass!"

"Kill him!"

"Rip him to shreds!

"Make him bleed!"

Only the vilest words were slung towards Peter, who just shrugged the comments off. "Didn't know I was back in New York, or rather an extreme version of it anyways." His spider-sense then went off as he dodged an attack from Vortex as he managed to flip away. "Hey hey, cheap shot." Peter called out.

"Only a cheap shot if you get hit, besides fights are hardly ever fair." Vortex responded as he went back to fighting Peter. Vortex kept trying to hit Peter but thanks to his Spider-Sense, as well as his athletic abilities, he was able to dodge the attacks. Peter was sure to make it seem like he was barely able to react to the hits though by making it miss him by an inch or so. Call him a Daredevil 'Heh' but this was all he had right now.

Verosika watched the match with disinterest as it was just a back and forth between the two. She had a hand to her chin as she leaned on the arm of her seat. "Surely this can't be it right? He wouldn't have challenged me without having the strength to back it up right?" She asked her court that always accompanied her.

"Maybe it was just a fluke? I mean, humans do tend to have egos, especially when it comes to these sorts of things." One of them answered as she gave out a huff. Surely the brat was playing her. The balls on the fucker if it were true. No one made a fool out of her, and she meant no one. Besides those higher up of course. Other than that, anyone beneath her would pay.

She stood up from her seat as she walked towards thw window as she placed a hand on it. "Come on Petey, show Mama whatcha got. Don't let me down." She whispered with a bit of lust in her voice. For one reason or another, she craved this human and no she would have him no matter what.

Peter was currently running Vortex around as he just kept dodging and weaving all of his attacks as Vortex was now starting to get more frustrated it the longer the fight dragged on. "Come on, this should be nothing for you right? Besides, got to get in that exercise, right? Can't have an out of shape bodyguard now, can we? No sir." Peter teased, only for Vortex to growl in displease.

"Stop dodging and actually fight me, you damn coward. Weren't you boasting about your strength earlier? Isn't this the fight you wanted human?" Vortex snarled as Peter stood in front of him. "Hmm, nah. Not really. I really didn't feel like fighting. Sometimes I get in way over my head, you can understand that right?" Peter was met with yet another attack before Peter dropped down and swept the Hounds legs.

"Don't have to be superhuman to be able to do that to your opponent, especially if they're not expecting it." Peter slightly laughed as he watched Vortex stand right back up. The crowd was cheering the Hounds name on, while they condemned the human. "Not even in the underworld I can get a win huh? Typical."

He still had to find a way to get close to Loona but how? 'Let's see. Right now, she's all the way on the other side, but I can see Verosika staring at me as well so giving out a signal won't work unless she's distracted or focused on something else. Think Pete think.' As Peter was brainstorming, Vortex was now starting to try and claw him once more, only for Peter to move out of the way. He knew he said he would roll with the punches, but not the claws!

"Fine, you want a good punch? Ask and you shall receive!" As Peter swatted the claw away, he was sure to immediately follow it up with a straight punch to the gut. Granted Peter held back quite a bit but he still managed to do a great deal of damage, proved by the fact that Vortex was now holding his stomach in pain.

'What...the fuck was that?...Damn kid. Heh...' He couldn't help but feel a bit proud that Peter actually had a good amount of strength to him. He also knew where to hit where it hurt the most.

Peter then put up two peace signs in the air as the crowd booed him for the act. Peter wasn't one to gloat, but he kind of had no option right now. Vortex finally managed to get his bearings together as he stood up to his full height once more. This time he had a smirk on his face as he cracked his knuckles.

"Not bad kid, I got to hand it to you. That was a nice hit you got in there, but that will be the last one you land." Vortex told him as he began to walk towards Peter.

"Eh, I wouldn't be sure about that. Like my parents said, I'm full of surprises."

"I'm sure you are kiddo, I'm sure you are."

"Why do you keep calling me kid? If anything were similar in age! I think?" While Peter didn't mind being called a kid (Yes, he did.) Too many people called him that for his liking. It was weird if he was being honest. The again, people did say he did look young for his age so maybe that could be the reason why.

"You're smaller and younger than me, hence why I call you kid. Now shut the Hell up and let's get back to fighting." Vortex commanded as he took a fighting stance. "Is there any way we can talk this over a cup of tea?" Vortex just stayed silent as he stared at Peter. "Of course not..." Peter sighed in disappointment as he too took a fighting stance of his own.

Verosika was jumping in joy in her seat. She knew it, she fucking knew it. Of course, Peter would try hiding his strength, it was only natural after all, but she knew there was more than what was presented to her. Though she couldn't blame it from hiding it, he would become a target. So, she was going to do him a little favor and make sure that he didn't go all out, that way he wouldn't have a target painted on his back, but he would also become hers because he would be forced to lose.

If he couldn't go all out, then he wouldn't be able to beat Vortex. In normal circumstances, Peter would be able to beat her bodyguard, that much was certain. While the common demon didn't study the moves of the fighters, she did, and from what she could tell, Peter was in a league of his own. While she didn't know the full extent of his powers, she was certain that he would be able to take on some of the higher figures in Hell and possibly even come out victorious. Something that she wanted to exploit for her own benefit but all in due time.

She then looked across the arena to look for Blitz and his band of morons and once she spotted them, she waited for them to look at her. Once they made eye contact with her, she just gave them the bird while also winking at them. Wait, why were they smiling? Why did they look so cocky all of a sudden? The bigger question was where their hound was.

And with that another chapter is out of the way! So sorry for the wait! I had a huge writers block, I even rewrote the chapter because I just wasn't satisfied with what I was putting out. College and work weren't helping matters either but with Winter break around the corner, I'll be able to write at least one chapter every few days so be on the lookout for that! I'll also try to at least get one chapter out each weak but unfortunately, I can't make any promises. Anyways thank you guys for the kind reviews and I am so happy that you guys seem to love Peter and Loona as a couple, it truly warms my heart! Well, with that being said, hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, and if you did, please like and review. Have a great rest of your day you, guys!

"Oh Peter, you're just in time to meet the new helping hand were going to have around here!" May smiled at her nephew as she presented the boy that was next to her. Said boy held out his hand towards Peter with an innocent smile.

"Nice to meet ya! I'm Miles, Miles Morales!" He introduced himself as Peter gave him a smile back. Peter reached out and clasped his hand as he shook it firmly.

"Names Peter, Peter Parker. Nice to finally meet you, Miles."
