The Ninja smile as they all group together, hugging each other tightly as they stand outside the Newspaper Warehouse.
"Ellie, are you sure you're ok?" Cole asked what felt like the tenth time as he hugged her.
"Ask me that again, and we're gonna have problems." She told him flatly, just seconds of the double doors opening to reveal Master Wu and the other kids walk out.
"Nya, Lloyd!" Wu smiles.
"Uncle!" Lloyd beams, walking up to Wu.
"It's good to see you all." Wu smiles, looking around at his Ninja, even his brother.
"You too, Master." Lloyd smiles at him.
"I just wish we had better news." Nya said sadly, feeling upset.
"Yeah." William sighed. "Doesn't look like we can count on any help."
"Seriously." Eleanor nods. "How are we suppose to call the Elemental Masters our friends, if they're not around?" She demanded. "Where are they. And no Kai, I'm not talking about Skylor!" She added when he looked at her.
"I understand your frustration Eleanor." Wu said. "But just like everyone else in our city, they could've been turned to crystal."
"What are we gonna do?" She asked.
Wu side steps. "But we are not without allies."
The Ninja frown as they all look inside to see Killow, Ultra Violet, Fugi Dove and Ronin, the later drinking his bowl of soup before lowering it and letting out a loud burp that was quickly followed by a loud gassy fart.
"Ronin?" Lloyd frowned.
"It's a long story." Wu said. "Come inside. I have something to show you."
The Ninja follow him inside, the Ninja look around to see many citizens. Not a lot, but a really good handful. Eleanor saw Lily playing an Uno game with Dareth and Vinny, while Gayle watched them.
Master Wu lead the Ninja up to a table to show them Quanish's scroll. "This the Final Prophecy of Quash the Elder."
"Quash?" Garmadon questioned, his arms folded, not impressed. "Quanish was a fool."
"Yes." His brother agrees. "But hopefully not entirely, for he prophesied that one day, the defenders of Ninjago would achieve a higher form of Elemental Energy. Something he called 'Dragon Form' which they would use in the final conflict against evil."
"Dragon Form sounds cool." Jay grins.
"Did he say how this 'Dragon Form' is achieved?" Garmadon asked asked, looking at Wu, who shook his head.
"Unfortunately, no."
"Hmph." Garamdon folds his arms. "Typical Quanish. Leave out the most important part."
"But." Wu points at the paper. "These images offer clues. The first shows someone leaping upwards. The second, kicking backwards. Then turning, and rotating quickly."
"Lemme get this straight. To assume Dragon Form, we have to jump up, kick back, whip around, and spin?" Kai asked.
Wu looks at him startled. And before long, the table is pushed towards a wall and the kids sit on it with smiles as they watch the Ninja get into formation, and attempt to do so, but they end up doing Spinjitzu in their respective colors. In their second attempt, they ended up in dog pile.
"Anyone feel … 'dragon-y'" Jay asked, lifting his upper body up with his arms.

Up in the sky, inside the Oni Temple. The Overlord has gathered his council.
"Come, Pythor." He encourages when Pythor returns. "And join us. Take your place on my council."
"As you command, my Lord." He said, nervously.
"As I command? Hmm. I commanded you to bring back the ninja, yet you have all returned empty-handed!"
"Actually, I was saying "as you command" in response to you saying "join us." So in that respect, technically"- Pythor nervously tried to correct himself.
"SILENCE!" The Overlord yelled with rage, making Pythor and the others wince. "I gave you everything! New powers, weapons, an army of Crystal Warriors!" He lists them off. "But you fail me at every turn!" He yells with anger as he charges up his four hands, his council backs away in fright.
"My Lord." Harumi's calm voice catches his attention, he lowers his arms as Harumi walks up with Mr. F. "Mr. F intercepted a radio transmission from the Ninja." She turns to the silent member. "Play it back."
Mr. F plays back the recording. "Kai and I are with Skylor and Master Wu. We're holed up with a bunch of people at the."- Cole's voice is heard.
"Careful, Cole." Wu's voice warns. "Our radio signal could be intercepted."
"In a place where the news never sleeps."
"Interesting." The Overlord said, moving down to where Chantal is tied up to a crystal shard. "You should know where that place is located." His grabs her chin, lifting her face up. "Right!?"
She jerks away. "Like I'd ever tell you!"
Harumi walks over to them. "I know where they are my Lord." She said confidently, making Chantal glare at her.
"Monster's pet."
Harumi laughed, turning to her. "You don't like the fact that I won."
"What's the prize? Lloyd? Everyone killed and our city demolished?"
"Listen."-
"SILENCE!" Overlord screams out, making both girls wince. "I'm feed up with your cat fights!" He grabs Harumi and spun her around so she was facing him. "The Ninja!" He demanded. "Where are they!?"
They're trying to conceal their location. A newspaper delivery warehouse near the harbor. It would appear the Ninja are all there."
"Hmm. You have done well, Harumi. Dispatch my army. Launch the Dragonides. Find this warehouse and destroy it." The Overlord commands. "But not the Ninja." He charges up his right hand. "Leave them for me."
"The Ninja will not go down without a fight!" Chantal yelled, he turns to her.
"Yes, it is true that the Ninja have succeeded throughout the years. But now I'm in control of their city and they're literally powerless because of my Vengestone."
"What makes you believe that you're gonna be supreme ruler when all of this all done?" Chantal questioned, still chained up.
"Over the years I have watched and studied the Green Ninja." The Overlord said as he walks over to her, making her lean back, with her back pressed hard against the large crystal. "And now I have come to the collusion. That you! You're Lloyd Garmadon's greatest weakness!"

Bak at the warhorse. The Ninja once again fail to achieve Dragon Form as they all land on their backs.
Kai sits up, raising his hand. "Master Wu? I hate to say, but … I don't feeling anything." He said as he and the others slowly get back to their feet.
"I feel nauseous." Jay said.
"I feel very dizzy." Eleanor added.
"Maybe you were right about this Quanish guy." Cole said as he leaned back on his hands.
With anger, Master Wu throws the scroll to the floor.
Lily is sitting on a crate, she watches as a corer of the paper folds as there was a drawing on the back of the paper too. "Huh?" She points at it. "Master Wu!" She exclaims while pointing.
The Ninja walk up, and Cole picks up the scroll, looking at it with Lloyd next to him. "You fold it." The Earth Ninja realized.
Wu takes the scroll from Cole to look at the back of it. "It's the Old Tongue." He turns to Lily. "Very good find, Lilly." He praises, patting her knee and making her beam. Wu turns back to the scroll. "'Only if the allies unite through a selfless act, will main and might prevail the light, and dragon take flight.'" He read out loud.
"What does that mean?" Jay asked.
"Hmm." Wu squints his eyes on the writing. "'Main … and might''?
"Main, a noun, meaning force or strength." Zane said.
Suddenly the radio behind Eleanor made a small noise. "Come in! Can anyone hear me?"
PIXAL picks up the mic. "Father?"
"PIXAL! Oh, thank goodness! The Crystal Island is heading your way! The Overlord knows your location!"
"How?" Eleanor asked.
"I don't know, but he's moving his entire army into position!"
"We have to get these people out of here!" Kai exclaimed.
"How?" Cole asked. "The streets are crawling with those crystal creatures!" He reminds. "And Lily's not going anywhere without one of us!"
"Well, we gotta figure out a way!" Jay exclaimed.
"But our powers are useless against the Overlord and his army." Nya reminded.
"Yours, perhaps." Garmadon said as he stepped forward. "But not mine. While he's attacking you, I will attack the Overlord from behind."
"Alone, even you, are no match for the Overlord." Wu told his brother, walking up to him.
Lloyd walks up. "He won't be alone. I'm going with him." He decides.
"You have not yet mastered your Oni Form." Garmadon argued. "You will be of little help."
"Why don't you put some trust into your own blood, Mr. Scary Shadow?" Lily scoffed, folding her arms. Jay snickered.
"Listen sprout."- Garmadon started.
"I defeated the Overlord once before." Lloyd cut his father off, folding his arms. "Without any Oni Form. Remember?"
"Well, I'm coming too!" Cole announces.
"Yeah! Don't think we're staying behind." Kai agreed.
"I'm afraid you must. For this to succeed, the Overlord's attention must be focused on this warehouse." Master Wu said. "We must draw his eye, while Lloyd and Garmadon strike from behind."
"Defending this warehouse will be challenging." Zane reminds.
"Yes." Wu agrees. "But not impossible. "First, Cole will secure the alley behind the warehouse. Then, Kai will seal the loading dock doors. That will force the Overlord's army to attack us from the front. So we station Ronin and his gang here in their mechs. Minus one, which Lloyd will need."

Lloyd, Garmadon and PIXAL are standing on the roof of the building as they face the Mech. "I rerouted power to the shielding. It should withstand the effect of the Crystal Island." She turns to Lloyd. "Assuming my calculations are correct."
The blonde smiles. "I'm sure they are. Thanks, PIXAL."
She smiles, before hugging him. "Good luck, Lloyd." With that she turns and walks away without a glance at his father.
"Hmm." Garmadon folds his arms, watching her walk away. "She didn't wish me luck."
"Well." Lloyd shrugs as he backs away to the Mech. "Maybe she's just not use to you being on our team." He turns and leaps into the Mech.
Garmadon turns to him. "It's not that. She doesn't trust me."
Lloyd looks down at his father. "Can you blame her?" He then realizes his father hasn't transformed. "Aren't you gonna transform?"
"Do you trust me?"
Lloyd rolled his eyes, getting frustrated. "The world is about to end. We're about to confront the Overlord himself, and you're asking me this? Now?"
"You're stalling."
"I'm not stalling, I'm trying to get us moving!"
"Then answer the question."
"Ugh, fine! Yes, ok? I." Lloyd hesitates in his anger. "I think I trust you."
"You think?" His father raised an eyebrow. "Or you know?"
"I think I know." Lloyd decides.
"You think you know, or you know you think? Because those are two very different."-
"Holy moly! Can we please, for the sake of all Ninjago, discuss this after we defeat the Overlord?!" Lloyd yells, before leaving in his Mech.
Garmadon transforms angrily. "How can they not trust me?!" He demands before flying off after Lloyd.

Inside the Oni Temple, Chantal tries and fails to free herself from her chains. Harumi approaches from the side.
"The battle has begun."
"Good." The Overlord flies down towards her. "Inform me when it's."- Suddenly a large blast slammed into him, sending him flying down and hitting hard on the floor of the temple.
Harumi gasps, turning to see Oni Garmadon flying towards them. "Harumi. You look surprised."
Lloyd suddenly flies in. "You started without me!"
"Garmadon!" Overlord pushes himself to stand. "You have chosen to fight with the Ninja?"
"Yes. That's why I just attacked you."
Overlord charges up his four hands. "Then, perish with them!"

I was very excited to finish this series when part 2 finally came out
