Chapter 14: Alterna Space Center Lift
Tyler and Sammy soon find themselves in the Life of the Space Center.
"Woah. This is mysterious, and I like it," said Tyler.
"Can…can we turn on a light or something?" Callie asks in fear.
"We'll have to rely on other senses. Like sharks do," said Shiver.
Tyler and Sammy go through a door to a large platform.
"Well, this is ominous…" said Marie.
Curious, Tyler shoots the button for it to go downward.
"Hey, we're moving!" said Callie.
"It's already obvious, Callie," said Owen.
"Shouldn't we go up?" said Chris.
"Woah, enemies on the port vow," said Tyler, seeing the Fuzzy Octarians coming.
"(Get ready, Big Bro!)," said Sammy.
Back with DJ Octavio, he laughs in victory to see all his enemies trapped in hairballs.
"Now, what else can I do?" DJ Octavio said.
He then came across the mixing of the Fuzzy Ooze.
"With fluids, fur, and Salmonid Golden Eggs to make this crud?! This Mr. Grizz is even crazier than me. Who would mix another species' offspring for their plans?" he said.
"Goodbye," said DJ Octavio, ripping it apart with his robot hands.
"No, don't!" said the Fuzzy Octarians, coming over.
"Ugh! All I want is to be with my son! Let's get it over with!"
Coming out of the railing walkway, Tyler and Sammy huffed and puffed in exhaustion.
"Those crazy Fuzzy Octarians! They keep popping up. No offense to Agent 8 and Shiver," said Tyler.
"None taken," said Owen.
"Well…we climbed, we un-climbed…and now we're here. I hope Gramps really is at the launchpad!" said Callie.
"I'm not sure how to get there…," said Marie.
"Hey! I can see a pipe that's connected to the rocket!" said Frye.
"Good eye, Frye. The pipe is definitely big enough for Agent 3 to fight through. What could go wrong?" said Shiver.
"Very brave to volunteer Agent 3 like that…," said Marie.
"But there's Fuzzy Ooze in the way with no Fuzzball. Sammy, let's go around to get to the pipe," said Tyler, leading the way.
"Hey, so this has been bugging me… Why were you after the treasure, anyway? Just 'cause…treasure?" said Callie.
"We're doing it for Splatsville! Not everyone there is as fresh as we are. Some of them are really hurting!" Frye reply.
"That's right. We plan to sell the treasure and divide the profits among the needy. We'll keep a…shallow cut," Shiver added.
"Awww, how touching," said Captain Terry.
"Yeah, you there remind me of Robin Hook and his MerMen," said Chris
"Whoa. You're actually heroes. And here we thought… Well, I don't want to say what we thought," Marie said when Tyler reached the pipe.
"Ay! (Aw, thanks, Boss!)" said Big Man, as Tyler activated an inkrail.
As Tyler and Sammy use it, Tyler says, "Misunderstood is common. But it's sweet of Deep Cut. Keep it, Sammy."
"(You don't have to tell me twice.)," said Sammy.
