Chapter 16: The Unveiling of Mr. Grizz

When Tyler and Sammy came out, the Squids Sisters were there and said, "Yoohoo! Agent 3 cutie and Sammy."

"Hey, how did you?" said Tyler.

"It turns out there was a stairway up here. But it needs to be locked by every level you have been through to be completed. We came rushing over," said Callie.

"I'll let you two slide this time. Your Gramps, the .5 Pack, and Mr. Grizz must be at the top," said Tyler.

"I'll follow you to the very end," said Marie, as she and her cousin.

"Do anything weird, and I quit."

Shocking the Squid Sisters, they stopped when they heard Mr. Grizz say, "There are three components to my business plan…The vessel. The spirit. And the wisdom of ages. Someone is taking notes, yes?"

"Already on it, Mr. Grizz," said Taylor.

"What are you blatherin' on about? HEY! D-don't come any closer…" said Cuttlefish.

"Your brain…ensconced though it may be in your hideous form…contains the beautiful essence I need!" said Mr. Grizz.

"With it, Mr. Grizz will be able to rule the new era with a clawed iron fist," said Corey.

"And he will be known as Supreme Overlord of the Earth," said Prince Octavius.

"Leave my brain outta this! HEY! What's that for? Get away from me! AAAH! Ugh… Whaaa…," Cuttlefish said.

"(No, Mr. Cuttlefish! Faster, Tyler, faster!)," said Sammy.

"Um, it seems like things are going kind of badly for Gramps right now…," said Callie.

"Yeah. I hope his brain can hold out until we get there. Please, hurry, Agent 3!" said Marie.

"To be visionary in business-and in life-one must be prepared to make tough decisions. I must leverage the suffering of my employees into a brighter, fuzzier future for all! Lieutenants: Taylor, Corey, and Octavius, get to your stations and buckle up for lift-off," said Mr. Grizz.

"Sir, yes, sir," they said.

Upon reaching the top, Tyler and the Squid Sisters came to run as fast they could with Sammy in the Ink Pac.

"Graaamps! We're here to save you!" Callie called out.

But the four stopped in place for Marie to say, "What?"

They soon found Cuttlefish dehydrated and bone white, looking like he was dead.

Tyler and Sammy screamed in horror into each other's arms as Callie said, "GRAMPS! NO!"

"Dehydrated in his prime…," Marie said in sorrow.

When a shadow covers them all, they look up as Marie says, "OH!"

There, standing before them, is Mr. Grizz in his actual appearance. A giant purple hulking grizzly bear with a teddy bear-like face and globs of Fuzzy Ooze around his body.

"Welcome," said Mr. Grizz.

"(The Ursine Anomaly- #03, Mr. Grizz. He's like a giant Hulk teddy bear!)." Sammy commented.

"Yipe," Tyler said quietly in fear.

Intimidated, the Squid Sisters stood their ground as soon as Captain Terry, Chris, and Owen arrived while Callie said, "Hey, you overgrown furball! Turn Gramps back into…Gramps!"

"Hey, guys. We made it. What did we mi-mi-Me-Me-MA-MA-MASSIVE BEAR?!" Captain Terry said, putting her hands on her knees tired before freaking out at seeing Mr. Grizz's proper form.

"Holy mackerel! Are you Mr. Grizz?!" Chris shouted as she and Owen hid behind Captain Terry in fear.

"I was excepting you to be a humanoid muscular creature. Disappointed, but where are our boyfriends?!" said Owen.

"Valued employees…we appreciate your feedback. However, it will not be implemented at this time," Mr. Grizz responded.

When the rocket started to shake, Marie said, "What's that supposed to mean?!"

Mr. Grizz gets on the rocket as the rocket's countdown goes from 12 to 0. The missile then starts to blast through the hole that the Humans made and where Tyler, Sammy, Cuttlefish, and DJ Octavio fell through.

Then Mr. Grizz said, "It means the end of your employment. …And the end of the world as you know it, to be clear. As per my memo, I will be coating the planet in Fuzzy Ooze in an effort to restore balance. Don't call it "Hairmageddon." HR doesn't like it."

As the Squids Sisters watched the rocket take off, Callie said, "No… The rocket…"

But Marie turned around and said for Callie too, "Graaamps!"

They ran over to Captain Terry, who held the Cuttlefish squid's body sorrowfully while kneeling. Chris touches her shoulder in comfort, and Owen touches her heart in despair. Tyler fell, with Sammy trying to hold back his tears.

"Oh, Cuttlefish," said Chris.

"I can't believe he's gone," said Owen.

"Poor old Inkling. He didn't deserve it," said Tyler while Sammy whined in sorrow.

"He's…he's all dried up…" said Marie.

"But how…," said Marie.

"He was the best mentor I ever know," said Captain Terry, shedding a tear.

When the tear lands on Cuttlefish's squid body, he regains his color and consciousness. He starts to float up, which shocks everyone.

"HUH?!" Callie said.

"Phew! Somebody got the drop on me! Anybody else feelin' a bit parched? Also feelin' a bit lighter. And waaay flatter," said Cuttlefish Squid, noticing his changes.

"Talking squid jerky? You're alive?!" said Marie, as Cuttlefish Squid felt happy.

"Thank goodness you're, uh, alright…ish…" said Callie as he posed.

"So, it was true. There is a way to revive the dead. A single teardrop away," said Tyler.

Everyone looked at him, confused, before he said, "What? I read it in the Sunken Scrolls."

"Hey, wait! We're still in danger! The rocket! The fuzz!" Callie shouted while holding her cousin's arm.

"Don't forget our boyfriends are still in it," said Chris.

"Where is Agent 8.5 and those fiancé pair when we need them?!" Owen added.

"We have to go after Mr. Grizz before it's too late," said Captain Terry.

"But we'll never catch that rocket. It's impossible," Marie continued. "What can we do…"

Then a voice is heard for everyone to turn their heads forward, "HOOOLD UP A SEC!"

Standing in front of them is Deep Cut while Frye said before rubbing her nose, "Sounds like you folks need some help…and Deep Cut is here to steal the spotlight!"

"Eh?" Tyler and Sammy, confused.

Then Frye commended, "Swirl it up, eels!"

Her Moray Eels appeared to create a bath made of ink upward.

Everyone looked amazed before Shiver said, "Your turn, Master Mega!"

Master Mega appeared and got on the ink path.

Then Big Man appeared with four Space Headphones and said, " Aaay! Ay ay ay. (Here! Good thing I brought my Space Headphone collection.)."

"We're coming with you, Agent 3," said Captain Terry as Chris and Owen nodded.

"Our boyfriends are still up there, and they need our help," said Chris, as all four of them put on the headphones.

The headphones then made space suits appear on the four.

"Wow! High tech. I got to learn where Big Man got these," said Owen.

Fully equipped with their primary weapons, Tyler, Sammy, Captain Terry, Chris, and Owen gets on Master Mega and ride on the ink path.

"Yah, Master Mega, yah!" said Tyler.

"(Vroom, vroom!)" Sammy said.

Then everyone stood up the shark as Cuttlefish Squid said, "Stay fresh up there, Agents and Captain Terry!"

Tyler, Captain Terry, Chris, and Owen flew up to super jump forward as Callie said, "Go, Agent 3, Captain Terry, Chris, and Owen! The fate of the world is in your hands!"

Then Sammy flies upward after them while saying, "(Hey, guys! Wait for me!)."

Marie then said, "You too, li'l Sammy!"
