He noticed it while he was taking a shower after his morning run. He wasn't really doing it to be in shape or anything. But now that he could set when his body woke up, and running itself wasn't that tiring at all, he found he rather enjoyed it.

He probably didn't need to take a shower, seeing as he didn't sweat if he didn't use stamina, but it felt nice and this early, they were empty.

But as he was rinsing off, he noticed an icon in the top corner of his HUD. After the incident with Kurumu's allure, he searched through the help menus for what the icon was. In the case of the Allure, it was a 'Confusion' debuff.

But this one wasn't a swirl. It was a flame emblem with a red bar drawn diagonally down it. After a bit, more searching and he found out it was the 'Drenched' debuff. He wasn't sure what it did, but it seemed to appear whenever he got wet all over his body. It disappeared the moment dried himself. However, if he remained under the water for an extended period, another debuff would add. If he understood it correctly, they could 'stack' to make the effect even worse. Whatever it was.

So long as he didn't know what it did, he was hesitant to be vulnerable. 'Confusion' had caused him all sorts of trouble.

When he met up with Moka, he found another person was waiting with her.

"Good morning Moka, Kurumu." He offered as they exchanged greetings.

Moka looked at him eagerly. "Tsukune, um, may I?"

He knew exactly what she wanted, and was pleased she had at least asked. Good to know the conversation they had about boundaries was working out. He opened his arms in a facade of a hug. Moka was quick to jump into his arms and take what she wanted. As Tsukune waited, he saw Kurumu with an annoyed expression. He tried to convey a 'what can you do?' expression to her. But it only caused her to roll her eyes. Then, she had what looked like an epiphany.

As soon as Moka pulled away, Kurumu had leaped onto him.

"Hmmm Hmmm!" He protested as she dragged his head into her generous cleavage.

"Kurumu! Stop! You're hurting him!" Moka protested as she tried to pull him out of the soft abyss he had fallen into.

"But Moka! Just look at him! See that expression of joy! My destined one can indulge in this valley of joy whenever he feels like it!" Kurumu said while rubbing the back of Tsukune's head.

"Kurumu, what if he can't breath?" Moka whined. That was when Tsukune was able to break away. He inhaled sharply, eyes wide.

"Let's never speak of this again." he said blankly.

Class was abuzz with excitement as miss Nekomone sensei explained that classes wouldn't take place today in favor of students finding a school club.

There was plenty to choose from. Photography offered to take model art of Moka. Naked. They were politely, and firmly rejected. The same answer was given to the wood carving club, the painting club, and the sculpting club. Perhaps the reason all four offered to do the same thing was they were all overseen by the same sensei Miss ishigami. The teacher herself expressed an interest in "Capturing Moka's form for eternity in art". Suffice it to say, the art clubs weren't an option.

Eventually, after wandering about for some time, Tsukune offered to just close his eyes, spin around, and join whatever club he ended up facing. Moka agreed, not having a better plan.

Unfortunately for Tsukune, and unknown to him, Moka, that ended up being the swimming club.

Tsukune could see the appeal. He was Japanese, so he had been swimming before. The beautiful girls were nothing to scoff at either. But he was hesitant. Being wet gave him a status effect. And he still didn't know what it did. One of the girls saw him considering and approached, however.

"Hi there! I'm the swimming team captain, Ichinose Tomoe! Why don't we swim together!" she said in a peppy tone. Still, though, something piqued Tsukune's interest. The only older students in this club were girls. It had plenty of male freshmen, and even a few girls. That was weird, wasn't it?

Guilt

Possible death.

Tsukune's eyes widened when he saw the bonus objective. He hadn't encountered one of those before. And the failure penalties were all over the place. Could it be they were conditional on his choices? Geez, this was getting confusing.

He looked up to Ichinose who thought he had been thinking hard on it. "What does the swim club involve?" he asked.

"It's just that! Beautiful babes! Time by the pool! Swimming! And, if you need help, personal lessons." She cued suggestively. Invading Tsukune"a personal space. He backed up in an effort to gain some space.

"T-thanks. We'll be sure to have it. Look!" he promised. She backed off then with a smile before doing the same to another student. "I…guess we should check it out. Huh, Moka?" Moka could only stiffly nod, making Tsukune assume she was just as perturbed at Tomoe's behavior as he was.

The pool was pleasant. Even if Tomoe was constantly swinging between new members to correct their techniques. He personally was finding it quite annoying. Even if a private part of him enjoyed the skin contact with a pretty girl.

Still though, he had to wonder. Why was Moka still on the side? He called out to her, but one of the girls clung to him from behind. Moka's expression, which hadn't been happy from the start, now frowned severely.

"That's it. I'm leaving!" she proclaimed. His eyes widened.

"Wait! Moka, what's wrong!" He questioned. He tried to get out of the pool to follow her, but several girls latched onto him.

"Where are you going?" One said soothingly into his ear. "Stay with us."

Tsukune saw the swirl on his HUD. Confusion?! He questioned internally. One student threw water at Moka who was lingering. She reacted as if burned. She ran in the opposite direction with obvious desperation. Once she was out of sight, he turned around to the person holding him captive. It was Tomoe.

"What's going on here!" he demanded. "Why did you stop me!"

"I'm sorry Tsukune. I just couldn't let you leave. My pod and I, we're just so Hungry." Her mouth split apart down her jaws. Emulating a demonic parody of a smile. Scales and fins grew along her arms and body, and her mouth and throat was filled with a void of needle-like teeth. Behind her, all of the original swim club girls also changed as well. They began feasting on the necks of male and female freshmen alike.

Above Tomoe's head was a boss health bar.

Ichinose Tomoe: Leader of the Mermaid Pod

Lvl 9(BOSS)

Level 9?! He was barely level 3! That was three times his own level. On top of that, all the other mermaids had health bars as well. How on earth was he going to survive this?

First thing was first, he kicked off Tomoe toward the edge. Around him, freshmen were becoming emaciated husks. He swam for all he was worth, but several figures glided underneath him. They popped up out of the water and dove at him. His response was to blast an Ember at them. But nothing happened. Nothing except a puff of steam.

Under his status bars, the four 'Drenched' icons flashed red. Shit! Of all the times to figure out what those meant, it had to be now? Did being drenched mean that he couldn't use his fire-based abilities?

Several mermaids grabbed onto him, and he used Smolder as they attempted to bite down. His HP drained some, and around him the water boiled and steamed. The mermaids let go and foamed at the mouth. Across the pool, Tsukune spotted that Tomoe's health bat had gone down by a third.

That didn't make sense. He hadn't touched her. Unless they all shared a health bar! Another Mermaid circled him. Clearly cautious of not ending up like the girls currently twitching on the bottom of the pool.

"This is a bad matchup." Tsukune muttered.

"Tsukune!" He heard a voice call off to the side. It was Moka! She was going to jump in! With a leap, she dove in head first.

And didn't come back up. Moments passed, and the on-guard mermaids began to relax. They even jeered at Moka for her stupidity. He didn't understand. Couldn't she swim?

"Tsukune!" He saw Kurumu running alongside the pool. "Tsukune! You need to rescue Moka! Pure water is toxic to her!"

He didn't even think as he dove under the water. He saw two mermaids attempt to grab at his feet, but taking inspiration from earlier he cast Ember in both hands while holding his arms to his side. The push from the steam-propelled him forward like a rocket until he was hovering over Moka's writhing body.

Not sure what else to do, and those same two mermaids still approaching, Tsukune gripped Moka's rosary and tugged.

The explosion of power was catastrophic. The water itself was pushed out of the pool as Moka was left in the center of a dry cyclone. His back slammed against the wall and the water level dropped by several feet once the majority of it had washed up onto the surrounding concrete.

"What's…going on?" he heard Tomoe say as she laid in the few feet of water that was left. Her health bar was even lower than before. Almost empty in fact, leading Tsukune to believe that all of the other mermaids had been taken out. Her tail flopped uselessly on the pool floor, not designed for traversal in shallow water. "Who…who are you?" She said quivering. And Tsukune understood why. Moka, the silver haired Moka, was absolutely livid. Her expression was harsh and murderous, and she didn't bother directing her Youki. Letting its crushing weight fall down over anyone unfortunate enough to be within range.

Yet even as angry as she was, Tsukune noticed something off. As she walked forward, her steps were stiff. He wouldn't have known any better had he not seen her unnatural grace twice before. She was making a conscious effort not to show it, but she wasn't on her A-game.

"How…dare you." She accused in a voice filled with venom and malice. " How dare you treat me like this."

Tomoe began to panic, begging for forgiveness and the like up until Moka was just a few feet away. Then her demeanor shifted. Like a serpent, she coiled and then struck. Fully intending on claiming Moka's blood. A casual side kick saw Tomoe crashing into the pool wall. The concrete cracked with the impact. " And then you have the nerve to try and steal something more precious than gold. I should cave in your head, snake." But she didn't. Tsukune could tell from the way she swayed that she was most definitely not alright.

He got up off the wall and made his way toward her just as she swayed. When she began to fall backward he grabbed her hand. Only for her to smack it away.

-20HP

She fell backward and began to convulse in pain I'm the shin-high water. Her eyes were beginning to unfocus.

Even if she had done as much damage to him as a Smolder, he wasn't going to leave her like this.

Picking her up in a bridal carry, he took the stairs out of the pool. "Tsukune! Oh, satan's, is she going to be alright?" Kurumu fussed. Moka didn't look good at all. Her skin was inflamed, and her eyes had rolled back. She was all but limp in his arms.

"What's happening? You said water was toxic to vampires. How? And what can we do!" Kurumu shook her head. He laid Moka on a pool chair as he and Kurumu looked for options.

"I don't know what we can do. Maybe dry her off? Stip her down maybe?" She offered as a solution.

Tsukune grimaced. He really, really didn't want to strip Moka, especially this Moka, down. But as she convulsed, eyes rolling back, and a slight visual static ran across her reddened skin, he felt he was running out of options. "We need somewhere more private." He said through grit teeth as he picked Moka up off her laying position.

They found that private place in the deserted girls changing room. Kurumu locked the door as Tsukune grabbed a handful of towels from the storage. He dried her as best as he could with Kurumu's assistance. However, no amount of toweling her down was going to fully dry her clothing.

Kurumu looked at him for guidance as if he had any clue what to do now. Except he did know what he would have to do now. He was just procrastinating. Gritting his teeth hard enough they creaked and sending a silent prayer to any gods who would listen, he began to disrobe Moka. "I'll try to be as respectful as possible, so please don't kill me when all is said and done." He practically begged. He started with her shoes and socks, Kurumu being fast to towel them down as he went. After that was her blazer.

Now that her arms and legs had been dried, he struggled to take the next step. Top or bottom, he would be exposing something she probably wouldn't want exposed. Ultimately, he chose the top first. No higher reasoning than he felt it covered more space, and therefore was doing more damage. Her buttons were quick to come off, but he needed Kurumu's help to prop her up. Her shirt was now off, exposing her basic white bra.

Last, and easiest of all to physically accomplish was her skirt

He wouldn't be removing her undergarments. If they had to come off, Kurumu could do it. He was just pulling her skirt down her thigh when an absolutely murderous voice interrupted him.

" What do you think you are doing?" His heart stopped and sunk deep into his abdominal region. He looked up to see her eyes burning with rage and murder. His mouth went dry as he tried to explain. His hand on her outer thigh, he could feel it coil up into what would be a kick strong enough to remove his head.

He was saved from the EXTREMELY stupid thing he almost said by Kurumu who threw a towel over Moka's head.

"We're trying to dry you off so you don't fry like calamari. Your clothes were wet and burning you." She explained sounding much more collected than Tsukune was. In his panic, he had almost blurted out 'You were wet'. As apt as the description was, in current circumstances she was likely to take it in the worst way possible. He would never of course! But the situation was bad, and she was likely still in pain.

Thankfully, he had recovered enough to gain his wit. "Uh, now that you're awake, you can dry yourself off. I'll just…I'll just go." So perhaps he wasn't as recovered as he thought. Still better than a stammering mess though. "If you need help, ask Kurumu." He offered mousily as he made his way to the locked door.

"Wait." She ordered and he froze. Her voice brokered no exception. " That trash can there, it is metal. Use Your flames and start a small fire." She pointed to the small steel can in the corner. It was filled with mostly paper and discarded towels. " Girl."

"My name is Kurumu." Said girl stated. "The least you could do is use my name after I helped you."

He could almost hear Moka's teeth grit in a sneer. " Fine. Kurumu. Open those windows so the fumes don't suffocate us." Tsukune got to work Starting the fire with an Ember. He might have been worried about starting a fire indoors if not for the fact that the locker room was made out of steel and concrete, and the floor was far too wet for any fire to spread.

It had just lit when he heard two wet thwacks hit the ground. He began to turn around but was stopped from doing so by Moka's commanding voice.

" Turn around and you'll never see another day. Turn around, and I'll ensure your head facing the right direction. Even if your torso is not."

He stared ahead at the fire. He swallowed heavily as contact clues came together. Those two wet sounds had come from Moka. Moka didn't have anything to throw on the ground. Nothing except her panties and bra. Moka was naked right behind him.

The teenage urge to turn around anyway entered his head before it was brutally stamped out. He had absolutely no doubt that she would follow through on her threat. And worse yet, he heard her footsteps coming closer.

Then she was pressed against his bare back. He struggled not to gasp at how cold her skin was currently. " Be still." She ordered. And he obeyed. Even if he himself believed in remaining respectful, he was a teenage boy. And it was because of that his body locked in on the twin pricks that dug softly into his back. The soft pressure as they were pushed forward. Her bare breasts pressed into him, and the cold had caused her to become quite perky. Then her arms wrapped around his front from under his shoulders. Remaining in control of his lower region was a battle he was quickly losing.

Thankfully, or maybe not depending on his viewpoint, he was saved from his body betraying him when she roughly tore into the nape of his neck with her teeth. All thoughts of arousal were left forgotten as he cried out in pain. He jerked on instinct, but her arms held him firmly in place. Not even allowing him to fall as she held him upright. She bit deeply in a way that was as jagged as possible, intent on making him bleed. And she didn't stop at one bite. She took multiple. Each taking between five to ten HP. He tried to focus on his breathing now. The pain was quickly forgotten, something suspected of being the fault of the Gamer system. Any sense of romance, or semblance of lust was crushed under Moka's desperate and savage assault. It was like she needed as much blood as possible, and once she had gotten a taste she turned into a rabid animal.

A terrifying fifty HP later, she released him to fall back. He didn't need to be ordered not to turn around now. Kurumu had been holding out Moka's clothes by the fire while all this had taken place. Thankfully, the first to dry had been her undergarments. And some time after that, her uniform. It was a bit stiff, by dry enough.

He didn't say anything as Moka excused herself back to the dormitory. He did notice that she grabbed her rosary from the now dryer poolside. And then, didn't replace it. Was she planning to go back as she was? That was unusual. He hoped that meant the Pink Moka would be ok.

At any rate, he found himself sitting in the hallway of the school. The club fair was still going on, he just didn't have the energy. Kurumu had joined him, though she at least had energy enough to leaf through different pamphlets. It seems she, like Moka, was quite popular amongst the different clubs.

"Well, that was exhausting. I'm kind of surprised she didn't kill me when I was working the skirt off. That didn't look good from her perspective, I'm sure." Tsukune complained. Kurumu side-eyed him. "At least you saved me from saying the first thing that came to mind. Then she really would have killed me."

"Oh? What was the first thing you thought of saying, Tsukune?" She asked amused. How she could be amused after all that, he didn't know. Probably because she wasn't in the thick of it.

"I almost said 'You were wet'."

Kurumu chuckled. Then put her hand over her mouth and giggled. Before breaking down into full belly laughter.

"Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up. But can you imagine if I had said that while I was removing her skirt? Mind you, she woke up practically naked. Kurumu, I almost became a splat on the wall." He said hollowly.

And yet still the girl laughed. He began to pout until she stopped. "So, vampires can't be in water?" He asked Kurumu.

The bluenett shook her head. "No. Though, as I understand it, it's a dynasty thing. Or, clan? Well, whatever they call themselves. I think different types have different weaknesses. I know that lower vampires can't be out in the sunlight.

Born vampires are different than created ones. They all have special abilities. But, a large majority of the Noble families can't cross water. Or more specifically, won't. This is because water feels like acid to their skin. Can you imagine sinking at sea if water feels like acid? Yikes!"

Tsukune could help but to agree. That would be an awful way to die.

"In addition, I've heard it really messes with their ability to manipulate youki. And Satans forbid it to be blessed water. Then it doesn't just feel like acid, but acts like it too. Though, Holy water is like acid for pretty much anyone other than Humans, the angels, and holy servants."

"Huh, I guess they would be real too. Hey, what's up with that phrase you keep using? 'Satan's'? I don't know much about any Abrahamic religions, but isn't there only one satan?"

Kurumu readjusted so she could lean slightly against him. "I'm surprised you don't know."

Tsukune frowned. "Know what?"

She shrugged. "About the state of the underworld. I thought you were from there." She prodded.

But Tsukune just shook his head. "No. I was born and raised human. Some things happened a week ago, and now I'm here. I don't know almost anything about the supernatural."

She frowned, before getting over and smiling in a way that made him blush.

"Don't worry about it. Someone in your family probably just had a one-night stand and didn't tell anyone about it. Doesn't even have to be your parents either." She said when he looked like he might protest. "Devils are really long-lived. And half Devil's are sometimes pretty hit-or-miss. A lot of them never even know their origin. You could have family that's got roots in hell and they wouldn't even know it.

But going back to your question, I say Satans, plural, because the Devils don't have just one. They have four. Long story short, a few centuries ago, the devil race had a civil war or something. I don't know, I'm bad at history. And then the new ones took charge. Oh! Also, they aren't the originals either. Those one's died a really long time ago.

The reason I actually use the expression is just because my mom always does. She actually grew up in hell before coming here as a teenager."

He nodded. It was interesting and scary learning just how big the world really was. "Wait, hold on. Your mom is from hell? Like, Christian hell?" He questioned. And it was in that instance he was forced to acknowledge multiple things. Firstly, that hell was a place he could plausibly visit should he feel the urge. That there were different Hells. Potentially for each faith. And that the implied polytheism meant that gods were real and every faith was simultaneously correct at the same time. It made his head hurt. But Kurumu was unaware of Tsukune's ongoing existential crisis.

"Yeah, that one. It's not so bad for our side of things. Though, I've only been once to visit my grandmother. They have a train that takes denizens and tourists down. It's pretty modern. As for why my and grandmother lives in hell, well it's because Succubi are a stable offshoot of the devil race.

Though good luck getting them to admit that. A lot of Devils are nobility. And they're just as snobbish as you would imagine.

Most Succubi live in one area of underworld or another. The Christian Hell is just convenient because we can piggyback off of their established summoning contract system for clients. I've never done that, though. Because I was saving myself for my destined one!" She said as she pulled his twitching face into her cleavage.

"What on earth are you two doing out in the hallway? Haven't you found a club yet?" Nekonome questioned as she passed by. Pointed ignoring Tsukunes gasps for air.

"Sorry Miss.Nekonome." He said through coughs. "We're just taking a break." Tsukune said not wanting to give an in-depth explanation.

"Ah, well alright. But if you cant find one, please consider the Newspaper club. I'm the faculty in charge of it, and we really need new members. Actually, I have some pamphlets if you want to show your friends." she said pulling some papers out of her side bag. "Have a good afternoon you two!" she said as she waved and left.

Ignoring Kurumu rubbing herself on his arm, he read through it and found he quite liked the idea. He would have to ask Moka when she came back.

It was two days before Moka returned. She was waiting for him on the path. As if nothing had happened. They exchanged greetings, and he brought up the idea. She was much more enthused at this than the swim club. And after realizing why, he was quick to apologize. While she hadn't said anything, he shouldn't have allowed himself to be led off. Quest objective be damned.

That night, Tsukune looked over his notifications.

The Devil is in the Details: Gain access to contracts. Bind the will of those around you through clever word play. In addition, gain the ability to read and understand fine print.

Traits? What was that? He didn't know. But they each seemed very useful. Gifted was the kind of trait he would want to pick early. But at the same time, one extra point per level wasn't actually that much. He was tempted, but not as much as the other options.

He hadn't figured out what 'Build' he wanted yet. But he felt that Born in the Dark wasn't it. He didn't feel like the kind of person who slunk around in the shadows.

As for Harem King…he didn't even know where to start. Aside from his moral objections, the idea that he could affect who was attracted to who made him very uncomfortable. That was shelved. Perhaps permanently. Besides, what use did he have of it. He didn't have a 'Harem'. It would be a waste.

Blood and Fire was a tempting choice. Especially when he seemed to get hurt so much. It would be nice to put a lot more umph into his attacks when things were getting desperate.

Another he was tempted by was The Devil in I. Having accepted that he was more than human now, Tsukune would happily admit that having a true form would be a big boon. And the boost to his stats was nothing to scoff at. On top of that, it would only get stronger in time as he leveled. In fact, the only thing preventing him from selecting that right now was the ridiculous stamina requirement. As he was now, he would be able to keep up a true form for a single minute. He felt it was better off to level up some, and grab it next time.

The last one was different. The Devil in the Details was a way to create and understand contracts. Kurumu had spoken briefly about the system devils had set up for contracts. Could this have something to do with that? He didn't know. He felt it could be a powerful ability. But it wasn't one he needed right now.

His choice made, Tsukune selected Blood and Fire.

Blood and Fire: Your blood is the fuel to your flame! The lower your HP, the high your damage! When you have less than 10% HP your fire will do 10x as much damage!

He nodded to himself. This was the best one for now. Though next time, he was grabbing a true form.

Now he had to allocate his 15 attribute points.

He decided to distribute them in such a way that his boosts the majority of his stats across the board. Ironically, this gave him even numbers for every bar.

He almost regretted not choosing The Devil in I now. As it was, he would be able to maintain a true for for six entire minutes. He was no combat expert, but most of the fights he had been in had been over in less than two. Then again p all those fights had involved Moka. He pausesd when he looked at his CHAR stat. He hadn't even put a single point into it, and yet, it had gone up. That was strange. He should probably begin to diversify his stats now. Double digits in everything was a good foundation to build off he felt.

Speaking of how he felt, he clenched his fist. His muscle felt…tight. Curious, he took his shirt off and looked for something reflective in his dormroom. Eventually he found a spoon made for serving rice.

Even as warped as the image was, he could see the outlines of muscle under his skin. It seemed the babyfat he had carried all his life was beginning to melt away. He wasn't sure if it was from his morning runs or his stat increases. But regardless, be planned on continuing to do both.

It was a good day he felt as he drifted off.

The next day

Tsukune sighed as Moka drank her fill. He couldn't find it in himself to complain. Especially after the maiming the other Moka had done to the back of his neck.

"Thanks Tsukune!" Moka chirped. Honestly, his HP was at the point it most regemerated faster than she drained in. In just a minute or two he would be at full again.

"It's no problem Moka. Don't worry about it." he said with a smile. That was when the local succubus struck.

She looked conflicted for a moment. "Um, Tsukune. There's something-"

"Tsukune! Today were going to the club together! Right!" Kurumu exclaimed as his faced was pressed between the fabrics of her vest. "I'm just so happy I can be in the same in as you!"

Unknown to Tsukune who was blinded to the act via suffocation, a glaring contest was going on between Moka and Kurumu. Moka was annoyed at being interrupted.

Classes went as normal, aside from a rumor about a peeping tom starting a quest.

Quest Alert! Wolf in sheep's clothing!

Find out and expose the peeping tom!

REWARD!: 1000xp

Failure!:

Ruined reputation.

Death.

Holy shit that was a lot of XP! It made Tsukune extremely hesitant about this quest. But as per usual, it didn't give him an option to refuse.

Attempting to distract himself with the teachers lesson, tsukune couldn't help but note that he was having an easier time than ever following what the teacher was saying. It was a high note that followed him all the way until it was time for club activities. Allowing him to happily forget the scary amount of XP the quest rewarded and it's implications.

"Well everyone! Thank you for joining my club!" Miss. Nekonome said to those who had remained in the classroom. "Welcome to the yokai academy Newspaper club!" She addressed excited.

Tsukune couldn't help but notice that nobody else was here. Just him, Moka, and Kurumu. Was this a Club they would need to start from scratch?

"Miss. Nekonome, is this club new? I don't see any older members." He asked.

"Don't be silly. As a matter of fact-"

"Excuse me!" A voices called. Everyone turned to see an older boy walk in. He had long black hair that was held in place by a red bandana. "Sorry to be late on my first day, it's just I had to pick up these." He gestured to the bouquet of roses he held in his arms. He presented the image of a culture and charm. "Greetings he addressed handing moka the bouquet. I'm the president of the News paper club. One Morika Ginei. Or, just Gin for short. Pleased to meet you." He offered a smile to the girls in the room.

"Oh my Gin, your as dashing as usual. Everyone, As he has explained, this is Gin. He's the only second year in this club making him leader by default. Please ask him any questions you have! Now, I'm off to a teachers meeting, so please take care. Bye!" Nekonome waved as she swayed out the door.

"Right, well, let me explain the extent of our duties here's." Gin then went on to explain about how it was their job to investigate the happenings around the school. What drama was happening, and if the students needed to be aware of any upcoming events. He also warned that at times it might be dangerous. But that they would persevere! He seemed passionate, and Moka commented on how he seemed dependable. But then he ruined the serious mood he had been building by putting on a silly fact and telling them to just have fun.

Tsukune felt this was a club he would enjoy. Gin had tasked Tsukune with putting the tack on fliers so that the girls could hang them. The posters themselves had a picture of Miss. Nekonome smiling and pointing to a news article. He supposed it got the point across well enough.

But his happy mood was ruined when Tsukune saw that Gin was blatantly gazing up the girls skirts. He had assigned them to tacking up fliers overtop the chalkboard. The lack of any ladders meant that they needed to stand on chairs.

Kurumu's chair lost balance for a moment causing it to screech as she regained footing. The act caused her skirt to jump slightly, and Gin remainder shamelessly starting up. A perverae smile on his face.

"Gin! What are you doing! Stop!" Tsukune yelled as he moved to stand in between them. Gin didn't even bother getting up out of his crouch. Instead, he lowered his head like he was in atonement. The girls had turned around then, looking down confused. Tsukune pointed at gin's crouched state. "He was staring at your panties." Tsukune accused. That was when Gin chose to look up from the ground, a skeptical smile on his face.

"Tsukune, please. Calm yourself. I was just tying my shoelace." He got up and offered his shoed foot for inspection. I was a neat knot. Had he…had he read the situation wrong? "But since we're on the subject, wouldn't you have had to see their panties to get the notion I was staring?" Moka's eyes widened in realization, while Kurumu just had a saucy expression.

Stepping down, Moka glared at him with an intense expression. "Tsukune." She said sternly. "Did you see my panties?"

He back peddled a bit. "I mean, not intentionally." Moka looked disappointed at him and raised her arm. He flinched expecting her to smack him. What he felt instead was a soft knock to the chest. "You pervert." She accused calmly. "Don't do it again." And then she went back to hanging go flyers.

"Tsukune! If you wanted to see my panties, all you had to do was ask!" Kurumu exclaimed as she hit off of him.

Tsukune could only blink when he didn't find himself losing any HP. "Well, it looks like everything worked out, didn't it, Tsukune." Gin said in a chipper tone. He walked over and pulled a piece of link off Tsukunes jacket. "Keep yourself clean, Tsukune. You would it want to gain a bad reputation." He waned in a way that was laced with Venomous undertones.

Kurumu, who was beside Tsukune, narrowed her eyes in suspicion. Gin announced that this was good enough and said they would meet here tomorrow.

"Tsukune, I've been meaning to tell you." Mako began as they walkednoutnof class. But they were stopped. When a blode woman walked in their direction and picked Tsukune up by his collar. Instead of punching him, however, she dove her face into his nape and sniffed deeply. Before he could even question the strangeness she began to growl deeply from her chest.

"You!" She snarled as she threw him to the ground. "Think you can get away you peep! I'll skin you!" she screamed as her lunging hand turned into a fist of razor-sharp claws.

It was only Tsukune's peak human reflexes that allowed him to roll onto his back, flip over, and spring off his hands. She dove into another lunge, and this time he leapt up allowing her to fall underneath the arch of his legs split. He twisted and used the back of her head as a vaulting point for his hand. The weight of him launching himself off her slammed her into the ground, meanwhile he remained arcing in the air for a moment before touching down onto his feet. He stumbled a bit on the landing however.

"Wow, Tsukune. That was, wow." Kurumu said bug-eyed. Looking back at the groaning girl, he supposed that probably did look impressive. Recently, he had been trying to incorporate par core into his morning walks. It had started pretty embracing, but when all he had to lose was HP, he quickly got the hang of it.

In this instance, he had just sort of acted. "I've, uh, been running lately." He tried to pass off. From both girls skeptical expressions, he knew they weren't buying it. The girl on the ground groaned again and tried to get up.

"Who id that?" Moka asked. Tsukune would like to know the same. She had recovered enough to stand, and her glare was firmly locked on Tsukune. "Please! We don't have to fight! Why have you attacked Tsukune?"

"That…bastard! He was…peeping outside the girl PE changing room! But he made noise…and we found hair in the window sill. It was HIS scent!" She pointed a finger accusingly. "He's probably the one breaking into girls dorm rooms at night and stealing panties too!" Then she fell down on one knee. Tsukune went to help her, but had to jump back when she stopped at him again. "Heh, Know what's funny? I got excited and ran ahead. The rest of us will be arriving any minute!" And they could hear a large group filled with angry voices further back on the path.

"Tsukune," Moka said looking at him worried. "Maybe you should run."

He frowned. "What? But I didn't do anything!" He tried to explain. "I was with one of you two all day! How could I have peeped on the PE class?"

Kurumu shook her head. "That won't matter. Us girls don't care about facts or logic when we're angry. Right Moka?"

"Well, that's not exactly what I meant, Kurumu, but in this case Tsukune. Yes. They don't sound like they want to reason. You should go. We'll try to explain." Moka urged.

He didn't want to. Fleeing felt like an admission of guilt. But those girls did sound very angry. Then the choice was taken from him when the girl on the ground started screaming to the group. "He's over here! He's over-Mphm!" She was silenced when Kurumu hit her over the head with a rock.

He ran off then, just barely hearing Moka scold Kurumu about how she couldn't go bashing their fellow students with rocks.

Thankfully, he was mostly familiar with this area of the woods. It was close enough to the running trail he was able to find his way back to the dorms.

Now safely inside his room, he wasn't sure how to proceed. That's when a note was slipped under his door. Even with Tsukunes peak human speed, he couldn't open the door fast enough to see the messenger. Just an empty hallway.

Let's settle this. Meet me on the roof tonight.

-The peeping tom

Everything about this screamed trap to Tsukune. But he felt he didn't have much choice. When left with no other options, it was best to just spring the trap. Right?

Access to the roof was surprisingly unrestricted. Tsukune supposed in a school where students could fly, and most would come away from a three story fall with less than a bruise, there was little point. It just wasn't something he was used to.

It was beautiful, in fact. The even partially overcast, the moon shone light down across the strip of roof meant for walking. An iron fence surrounded that walking strip. Allowing whoever was up here to see a great overhead view into the forests. It was somewhere he could see himself visiting.

But right now, he was intent on meeting the two figures standing in the center. Note in hand, it was a shock when the figures turned out to be Moka, and Gin.

"Moka?" He asked.

"Tsukune?" she answered.

"Gin!" Gin proclaimed. Frowning at Gin, both Tsukune and Moka were confused.

"I don't understand Gin, you said you found proof of Tsukune's innocence. And that we has to meet late so nobody could find out." Moka questioned.

"All good things come to those who wait Moka." Gin said casually. "And speaking of waiting." The moon's rays fell over the group. Gin's smile seemed to elongate in the shadows. "From the moment I saw you, I had fallen for you. Moka. But I could see that your heart belonged to another. I tried to ruin your faith in him, but I guess it was stronger than I thought.

I tried to set it up where the PE girls would take him out, but he evaded that. So I was left with no other choice but to take matters into my own hands."

"Gin, what are you saying?" Moka asked backing up, only to find her back hitting the fence.

"I have him a note, telling him to come here. That way, I could remove the only obstacle to us being together!" Gin practically howled.

Tsukune crushed the note in his fist. "Then that means?"

"That's right! I'm the peeping tom!" Gin screamed as fur exploded from his body and his limbs elongated. He grew by a foot and a half, as his body became that of what was unquestionably a Warewolf!

"On nights like these when the Moon is full, I lose absolute control of myself! My emotions run WILD!

And tonight Moka Akashiya! I'll make you my woman! Even by force! And I'll start off by getting rid of the competition!" A health bar appeared over Gins head.

Ginei Moiroka: The Silver wolf

Level:34(BOSS)

Holy crap! He was almost five times Tsukunes level! And while Tsukune didn't play many games, he didn't need to to know the Skull next to Gin's name was bad news.

He lunged at Tsukune so fast he didn't even see it when Gin struck. But he felt it. The air was blasted out of his lungs so fast that the spit in his mouth rocketed out. Then just before he would crash into the ground he was sent spiraling from a solid slug to the jaw by an invisible force. Tsukune's back was molded into the iron fense from the force.

Meanwhile his HP had taken a whopping 80 damage. Still though, he had an entire 570 left. So he wasn't worried too much. It's funny. A day or two ago and that would be almost all, or at least half of his health.

Tsukune pulled himself up and saw Gin's location. He was pinning Moka to the fence. She was kicking at him, but Gin was just playfully dodging. Tsukune held up his hand and fired off two volleys of Ember in quick succession. They flew at Gin like missiles, and he got excited until Gin blurred. They flew until they hit the fence, impacting it and turning it a soft orange.

"Those went pretty far." A voice growled from behind him. He didn't even have time for his eyes to widen before he was flying forward from what felt like a kick to the back. "Too bad it was so slow." Gin laughed.

"Tsukune!" Moka said as she went to him. He was in the process of raising his head when a clawed foot was on top of it. Gin then ground Tsukune's face into the floor.

"I'll give you this, Tsukune! Your taking a lot more abuse than I thought you would. Haha! But even you can't keep doing this forever!"

Tsukune's response was to Smolder. Even before the full force of his fires could take form, the weight off his head was released.

"Ah! Hot! Hot! Hot!" Gin cried as he hopped around on one foot. The smell of burnt fur wafted around the roof.

Tsukune took his chance to roll over and fire off an Ember. But even with one leg, Gin was able to effortlessly hop over it.

"You're pretty good with that fire Tsukune! And tough too! Why, I'm sure I broke at least two of your ribs!" Gin taunted. Tsukune got to feet just fast enough to be knocked back down. His front was shredded and he bled out the front from the large gashes left by Gin's claws. A quick glance at his HP showed he was at 490/650. He was being knocked around, but Gin's strength seemed to be in his speed. Instead of damage output.

Tsukune tried to time his next attack based on how every time Gin had hit him, it was during the process of getting back up. He launched another Ember blindly ahead just as he steadied himself. Gin phased back in just long enough for Tsukune to see him jerk his head to the side. The Ember flying off into the distance.

"Heh! Nice try Tsukune! But as a Warewolf my senses are a thousand times stronger than a humans! I could see that coming from a mile away!" Gin bragged. Tsukune tried to block the next blow and got a gash along his arm for the effort. Yet still, now Tsukune had an idea. Being knocked back had taken the two a fair distance from Moka.

He wasn't sure what he could do here. Gin was too strong. Too fast. The level difference was insane, and even if Gin hit relativity lightly, eventually he was going to hit 0HP. Something needed to change. He needed a distraction. Just a second to breath.

An idea struck Tsukune. When Gin next struck, he didn't get up. He made it a point to breath heavily, and twitch, but on the ground he remained. He was effectively playing dead.

Gin appeared in front of him, but Tsukune didn't react. Even when Moka called out to him in fear. Gin kicked him, but he did little more than curl up.

"Ha! Finally down for the count eh? I'll give you this, you were a tough bastard. I've even worked up a sweat! But under the light of the full moon, you never could have touched me!" Gin gloated.

Tsukune mumbled something, making it a point to be as incoherent as possible.

"Eh? What was that Tsukune?" Gin said leaning closer. Tsukune mumbeled again. This time a bit more audible. Gin frowned as he put his snout right next to Tsukune's mouth. "One more time, what was that?"

It was a fight not to grin. "I said." He inhaled. "You talk to much!" And then Tsukune blew out a Smoke-Screen. Gin had no chance to dodge, even if he attempted so on reflex. The blast of black soot had gone directly into Gins eyes and nose. Gin slammed his back into the rail after attempting to flee blindly. He rubbed at his eyes and mouth, while screaming in frustration.

Tsukune didn't bother watching. He was sprinting towards Moka. Unfortunately, even if his eyes and nose had been ravaged, Gin's ears worked great. He sprinted blindly into an attempted tackle. It was only because moka shoved Tsukune out of the way that he avoided a clawing to the back.

Thankfully, Tsukune had reached his target. Because as he recovered in a roll, his hand held onto Moka's rosary.

The change happened quickly. Pink went to silver, and with his heightened senses, he could see the subtle changes take place as her body bulked up and filled out. Her aura was just as crushing as usual, but like last time, it was actively not on him.

"What is this feeling? What's changed? Who is that? Who is giving off such a fearsome aura?!" Gin asked. His ears twitched, and his for was standing on end.

"You disgusting mutt." Moka said as she blurred forward. Her entire body was in the air as she aimed to kick Gin in the head. But at the last moment, he ducked. His fur moved in the breeze and he retreated with a few leaps. The process repeated a few more times, after each Moka became more frustrated. " Stop moving!" she demanded.

"Who is that?" Gin asked. "I don't know that voice! Who are you?"

He dodged another kick before countering with a claw strike. Moka blocked, and used the leverage of her guard to retreat some. This left Gin standing alone some ways down. She landed gracefully next to Tsukune.

" He's too fast to hit." She commented. " Though I commend your efforts in blinding him."

Tsukune nodded and they both lept back at Gin's wild lunge.

"Whoever you are, it doesn't matter. Nobody will stand between me and my love-to-be! Because under the light of the full moon, a warewolf is invincible!" Gin screamed, only for that scream to turn into a shreek as Moka slammed her shin into his side. He spun wildly and impacted the fence. Ironically emulating Teukune's position from earlier.

"Ow." He said before collapsing.

Neither Tsukune nor Moka could believe it. Both looked shocked that her kick had connected. It was only when they noticed the overcast of the moon that things began to make sense. Without it's direct light, and with Gin being blinded, the lack of speed had made it so he couldn't dodge in time.

" Well, that wasn't very satisfying," Moka complained. Tsukune could only huff.

"Speak for yourself." Then he remembered who he was talking to. "I mean, that is to say, he probably wouldnt be very touch for you, Moka!"

Moka turned to meet him. A small smirk resting on her face. " Obviously not. But you shouldn't discount your own deeds. I was watching, and I must say, you've improved rapidly since our last meeting."

Tsukune's response was to blush and scratch at the back of his head. "Uh, thanks. I've…beem getting a lot of…experience lately." And wasn't that the truth?

"Hmm" She hummed skeptically. " While the increase in strength is respectable, you were right to ask for my help in this fight.

A warewolf is far beyond your current capabilities. At the same time, I find it, commendable that you first attempted to combat such a foe under your own power. Foolish as that was." She continued.

He nodded, accepting her praise. He could tell that this Moka wasn't one to offer it unearned. Even if she had called him foolish.

" Oh yes, before I forget. I had asked the other Moka to arrange for us to speak. As she was unable to, this is the perfect moment to do so."

"Oh? What about, Moka?" He asked curiously. Why did she want to speak with him? He wondered.

" I wished…to thank you." She said as if it was difficult. Were it not for the poor lighting, Tsukune could swear Moka was blushing. Still, his eyes were wide. This was even more shocking than her complimenting him. " I am aware you did not know about our weakness to pure water. I do not blame you for the circumstances of that incident. The other Moka should have spoken up against such a foolish venture.

Still, you had an opportunity to do something vile to me, and yet your hand remained stayed."

"Moka, I would never-"

" I'm not finished!" She interupted his protests. " Many would. Many more would leave me abandoned to my fate in the water. And none save the rarest few would go out of their way to assist one such as I, a vampire, and place their life in danger to help on the gamble that I would understand their intent.

You did all of that and more. Going so far as to offer your blood to a half-starved vampire. All the while offering no protest as you were placed in a position that could, and would, kill many.

I confess myself curious at your regeneration. It is by far even more powerful than my own.

For all this, and more, I offer my protection to you. And should you continue to be of such assistance in the coming years, I would reward you with a place in my family's court after our schooling is done. Provided you don't terribly offend me."

He had no idea what that meant, but from the fan fair, he could assume it was important. At least to vampires.

Life-Quest Aquired: Welcome to the Family.

Moka is one of the four daughters of Lord Issa Akashiya. Additionally, she is the daughter of the Dark Queen; Akasha Bloodriver. By all accounts, she is vampiric royalty.

Gaining a place within her court will provide her with legitimacy, and yourself with social standing. Can you trudge the pariless waters and oceans of blood it will take to stand by her side as Moka's right hand?

REWARD:

Become a member of Moka Akashiya's court, and gain all the duties and prestige that comes with it.

10,000XP

FAILURE: Moka(Sealed) (Unsealed) lose all respect for you.

Accept?

Decline?

Tsukune wondered if it was possible to reach a threshold of shock that it no longer affect you. If there was, he was there. Because he ignored the prompt entirely in favor of speaking with Moka.

"What is that? What would it entail?" he asked.

Moka quirked a small smile and stretched her arms over her head. Tsukune blushed and looked away from how her shirt was close to bursting from the act. " You needn't worry about it now. That's some times off. Just know it is a highly sought-after position. And I wouldn't offer it lightly.

Now, seeing as the threat has been dealt with, I shall return to my slumber. But first." She stepped into his personal space, her head went for the crook of his neck he obliged. Allowing her to take her fill of his blood. Her hand ghosted over his own as she took the rosary and placed it on her.

He caught the pink-haired Moka in his arms. She smiled at him, before running her tongue over her teeth and looking annoyed.

"Tsukune! How could you!" She said beating her hand against his chest lightly.

Tsukune panicked thinking he had done something wrong. "What did I do? Was it because I let out the other Moka? Because I couldn't beat Gin without her! He was way too strong!"

"No!" Moka pouted. "It's just…"

"Yeah?"

"How could you do that with her?" If this was an anime, Tsukune might have fallen over on his face. But seeing as this was real, he only felt his eye twitch. More annoying was he knew what that was.

"She defended me. I couldn't say no to her." He tried to explain. "And besides, aren't you both Moka?"

That was the wrong thing to say because after that Moka only made angry incoherent noises.

Deciding it was getting late, eventually Moka calmed down enough to leave. As they approached the door to the stairs however, it burst open.

Standing in the doorway was kurumu dressed in what looked like a costume for an Engish Victorian detective. Magnofine glass included. "Moka! Detective Kurumu hasndiscovered the identity of the peeping tom who framed my beloved Tsukune! It was none other than-"

""Gin."" Both Moka and Tsukune said in unison.

Kurumu stood frozen for a moment, then seemed to catch herself. "Ah, of course my dear Watson's! But I've also uncovered Gin's true form. He is in fact a-"

"Warewolf." "Warewolf, we know."

Kurumu could only look exasperated.

"But…but…" She sounded like she would cry. "I spent all this time on the costume. And I was investigating all evening." She said deflated.

Tsukune felt bad and so patted her on the back. "Even if it wasn't needed, it's still appreciated Kurumu. Nice costume by the way. Did you make it yourself?"

During the long walk back to the dorms Kurumu explained her process for making the costumes, as well as filling in any details about the plan to smear Tsukune that Gin hadn't explained.

The next few days, Gin was nowhere to be found. Miss Nekonome explained that he was in the hospital from injuries in a fight. As well as complaining that it wouldn't be the first time.

The Newspaper club used that absence to print an article explaining the truth of the matter. As well as who the true culprit was. Suffice to say, a large crowd of angry women was waiting outside the hospital for Gin to be discharged. Word around the school is Gin was on a revolving door for the time being.

Tsukune had accepted the Life Quest. He wasn't sure what a court was, or anything really. But if it meant staying by Moka's side, it couldn't be too bad. The prompt had also given Tsukune information about Moka he hadn't known. Like how her mother was a 'Dark queen', or how she had 3 sisters.

Tsukune wondered what they were like. We're they kind and sweet like like the pink Moka? Or fierce and abrasive like the silver-Haired beauty. Maybe they were some combination. Or maybe neither. Regardless, it was a goal. And that was something Tsukune felt he could appreciate more now than before. It had only been a week here, and already so much had happened. But, he was having fun. Spending time with Moka and Kurumu. It was all his younger self could ask for.

He resolves to enjoy these happy days. Because if this school had taught him anything, it was that adversity was just around the corner.
