When the three went inside the room, their reactions were different. Giorno was shocked, Josuke was horrified and Kaguya was calm.
"Hey, i've heard a scream. Did something happene-Oh my goodness! Ren!" said Valentine
Then, everyone heard a bell and the monitor inside the locker room turned on.
"So, everytime three people discovered a corpse, this annoucement appears? So, we have the confirm. Ren's dead." thought Giorno.
Meanwhile, Kaguya has already started to investigate.
"This murder is weirdly brutal, don't you think?" said Kaguya.
"What do you mean? He got killed, of course it's brutal!" said Josuke.
"No no, that wasn't my point. I don't think this murder was committed because the killer was as desperate as Izuku did, it's too elaborate. This murder appears to have been committed for fun." explained the black-haired girl.
Josuke went to call the others and Everyone went to the boys' locker room.
"Everyone, pay attention to the wall. There's a writing on the wall written with blood." said Kaguya.
"It's true, it says "bloodlust"." said Valentine.
"Perhaps it's a dying message?" Loid speculated.
"No, I don't think so." said L. "It's looks too bizarre. And I think that I've already seen this writing before..."
"I think I've heard about this too, I read it on the crime news. He's murderous fiend that kills with a rather bizarre method. On every crime scene there's a writing that says "Bloodlust". In America we call him "Genocide Jack".
"or "Genocider Sho"." said Yoshikage.
"Why do I have to deal with Serial Killers everytime?!" thought Josuke.
"So, we have two hypotheses: First, there's a person who has imitated Genocide Jack's style or..." said L
"The real Genocide Jack is among us?" said GioGio.
Then, Touko was the last to arrived in the locker room and she started having a panic attack.
"Ah...ahh...Nnnno...Wh-Why...? Why...? w...h...y...?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!" Touko fainted.
"Touko!" GioGio caught her before she fell to the ground. "Oi, are you okay?"
"Oh right. If I remember correctly, she's haemophobic*." said Lelouch.
Then, Touko woke up, as in she litterally jumped from Giorno's arms, where she was laying.
"Are you okay?" asked Tanya.
"Yeah, Yeah, i'm fine. I was just so shocked, ya know? It happens, right? Was I the only one?" said Touko.
"...Are you sure that you're okay?" said Josuke, worried.
"I'm fine, I'm fine! Kyehaha...! Whoa, is that a dead body?! Hey! Are you dead?!" said Touko.
"...I think she should rest for a while." said Lelouch.
"I agree, I'll take her back to her dorm room." said Giorno.
"I'll join you." said Loid.
"All right. We'll start to investigate here." said L.
Giorno and Loid left Touko in her room. Giorno asked Loid to stick around there so he can check how Touko is doing. The latter accepted and the former returned to the crime scene.
When he returned to the boys locker room, the first thing he did was checking the autopsy report. He turned on his E-Handbook and opened the file named "Monokuma File #2"
The report stated:
"The victim is Ren Amamiya. He died during the night, at around 2 AM/02:00. His boy was found in the Boys locker room, on the second floor of the school. Cause of death is brain damage, thus he died immediately. In addition, there are wounds on both of his palms, both caused by a sharp object and a wound on the back of the head caused by a thin but sharp object enough to kill."
"Guys, what do you think about that Genocide Jack is among us?" asked Josuke.
"I'm taking that in consideration." said L. "In fact, I'm worried that unless we do something the victims could start piling up."
"Hold on, that's your worry? Fear not, then!" Monokuma appeared.
"What do you want now?" said Giorno.
"I'm adding a new rule now! Rule #11 The guilty party may only kill a maximum of two people during any single "Killing Game." said Monokuma.
"That makes sense. If a person killed everyone you wouldn't have fun, did you?" said Lelouch.
"That's right! Now, I have to go. Good mystery!" Monokuma left.
"Giorno, do you have second?" asked Kaguya.
"Hm? What is it?" asked Giorno.
"Would you like to help me with the investigation? You solved Jolyne Kujo's murder case so, your talent could be very useful to me." said Kaguya.
"Sure." said Giorno.
The two began investigating.
"Hmmm, there's a bloodstain on that dumbbell." said Giorno.
"The Monokuma File said that he died of a brain damage. Probably it was caused by this dumbbell." said Kaguya.
Then, Giorno looked at Ren's corpse.
"He has been crucified with these two knifes to the wall. Probably the knives come from the kitchen. The autopsy report says that he also has wound on the back of the head caused by a thin but sharp object enough to kill." he thought
"We have done here. Let's go outside." said Kaguya
The two left the locker room.
"Hmmm...If I remember correctly the rule #10 states it's prohibited to loaning E-Handbooks. But...What if someone steals a E-Handbook? Maybe the culprit killed Ren before he was in the locker room and stole it! But if that so, where is Ren's E-Handbook?"
"Now I remember, there was something that I found bizarre. Follow me." Kaguya elegantly left the room and GioGio followed her.
The two arrived at the main hall.
"Huh? There's a mailbox on that table." Giorno opened the mailbox and inside of it he found three E-Handbooks. He took one and turned it on and the first he saw a name: "Jolyne Kujo".
"This is... It's Jolyne's E-Handbook!" said Giorno.
"Looks like those are the E-Handbooks of the deceased students." said Kaguya.
"So that means that culprit stole an E-Handbook either from here or, if she's a girl, stole the E-Handbook from Ren, so that technically they wouldn't have violated the rules."
"Now, I want to continue my theory about the culprit." said Kaguya
"You mean that you still think that Genocide Jack is the killer?"
"Correct" she said.
"Hey! Guys! I need your help." Loid arrived in the main hall.
"What's the matter?" asked Giorno.
"Something's wrong with Touko. She's acting weirder than before." said Loid.
"Let's go check her. I'm quite intrigued about her bizarre behaviour."
Loid, Giorno and Kaguya went to visit Touko.
Giorno rang the bell next to the door. Touko slightly open the door.
"What do you want...You're so annoyin-Ah! Giorgio!" said Touko.
"It's Giorno (or GioGio). Are you okay? Can I ente-"
"No! D-Don't enter!" Touko interrupted Giorno. "I-I-I'm not going to let her hurt you...I...I won't let Genocider Sho have control ever again!" A flash of intuition struck GioGio.
Touko slammed the door.
"She won't let Genocide Jack have control again?" Wait, don't tell me...Oh, why do I have to deal with people with DID every time?" thought Giorno.
"There is nothing we can do at the moment. Loid, continue to take care of her. Giorno, follow me." said Kaguya.
Giorno and Kaguya went to the archives, inside the library.
"Wow, that's sure a lot of books and files here. It's also very dusty here..." said Giorno. He checked bookshelf full of thick files.
"Those files are investigation reports related to various brutal cases. Hope's Peak Academy is truly influential if they have such informations." said Kaguya.
"Hold it, how can we know that these documents aren't fake?" said Giorno.
"No, I checked various times. All of the goverment documents and police records are genuine."
"Wait, did you read all of these documents?! More than once?!"
"I'm the part of the Shinomiya Family, the most influential Conglomerate in entire State of Japan. reading documents like this are a norm to us. We have a similar room in our main house in Kyoto. It's bigger and less dusty, of course." said Kaguya. "Also, I've found an interesting file..." the black-haired girl gave to Giorno a file case labeled "Murder Cases of Genocider Sho"
"Allow me to give you a summary of the file." said Kaguya. "In every murder commited by Genocide Jill there are two notable characteristics. The first is that the word "bloodlust" is written in the victim's own blood. The second is that when the victims are murdered, their corpses are suspended like a crucifix. Does something rings a bell to you?" she continued.
"That's...That's the same as what happened to Ren!" said Giorno.
"Correct. In addition, the second charateristic, where the victims are crucified, it's a fact that only the Japanese Police knows. Thus, it's not revealed to the Public opinion. This fact strengthen my claim, the culprit is not a mere copycat killer...it's the real Genocider Sho! And by your look, it appears that you have already a suspect, didn't you?" said Kaguya.
Giorno still wanted to check the file so he opened it.
By looking at the photos, he came to this conclusion
"So, all of Genocide Jack's victims are good looking guys. Since usually Serial Killers kill because of their Lust, there's a chance that Genocide Jack is a girl and that strengthen my theory, Genocide Jack suffers from DID and she shares the same body with Touko. But wait, I feel like there's something wrong... Why Kaguya is pushing so much with this theory?"
Giorno left and went to tell to L, Tanya and Josuke what he found.
Then, everyone saw a broadcast made by Monokuma.
"Ahem, I'm getting tired of waiting here...Let's get things started, shall we? It's the event you've all been waiting for...the Class Trial! Remember where to meet, right? Go through the red door on the 1st floor of the school! See you soooon!"
"So it's time." said Tanya.
"Here we go again." said Josuke.
"Let's go, we have no time to lose." said L.
The four went through the red door. Everyone was there except one person.
"Am I blind, or are we missing someone?" said Monokuma.
"You're right. Touko isn't here." said Lelouch.
"Okie dokie! Hold on a second, I'm gonna bring her here!" Monokuma left and returned, while he was dragging Touko.
"All right! Now everyone's here!" said Monokuma.
"Well then, let's go." said Valentine.
Everyone entered in the elevator.
A few minutes later, they arrived in the courtroom. Now, there were four portraits of the deceased students instead of two (Junko, Jolyne, Izuku and Ren).
The Students disposed themselves in a circle. Thus, the curtains rised on the 2nd Class Trial.
"Let's begin with a basic explanation of the class trial. So, your votes will determine the results." Monokuma explained. "If you can figure out 'whodunnit', then only they will receive punishment. But, if you pick the wrong one...Then I'll punish everyone besides the blackened! And the one that deceived everyone else will graduate!"
"Once again let's start discussing about the murder weapon." said Valentine.
"According to the Monokuma File, the victim's cause of death is brain damage. By looking at the crime scene, it appears that the murder weapon is a dumbbell. Even though that wound on his head "caused by a thin but sharp object enough to kill." looks suspicious, if I may say so." said Lelouch.
"I've checked the wound caused by a thin object. Looks like it was pointed directly to the brain." said L
"If I remember correctly, when we arrived the boys and girls had two types of kits. The girls had a sewing kit with a map of the vital organs in the human body. Maybe the culprit use the needle inside the sewing kit as the murder weapon and covered the dumbbell with blood to mislead us." said Tanya.
"Alright, now, let's talk about who the murderer is. Even if it's quite obvious." said Kaguya.
"R-Really?" said Chihiro.
"Correct, there is no doubt. The murderer of Ren Amamiya...it's Genocider Sho!" said Kaguya, confident.
Aoi objected.
"Wait Wait Wait! Are you saying that one of us is a Serial Killer?! There's no proof!" she said.
Giorno objected.
"No, there is proof about that. In the archives found in the library, there's a file containing all of the Genocide Jack murder cases. Inside these file, there were two peculiar characteristics in every murder. First, they leaves always the message "bloodlust" written in the victim's blood." he said.
"While the second one was not revealed by the mass media. The fact that Genocider Sho crucifies the victim in every murder." said Kaguya.
"She's got a point, by this logic, there's a extremely high chance that the culprit is Genocide Jack." said Loid.
"So that means that Genocider Sho is one of us?!" asked Josuke.
"That's right. In fact, Genocider Sho's true identity...is Touko Fukawa!" Kaguya proclaimed. Everyone was shocked.
"Wh-Wh-Wh-What?!" said Touko.
Yoshikage objected.
"Wait, didn't she fainted when she saw the blood? How can Touko be Genocider Sho if she's haemophobic?" he asked.
"It's simple. Touko is and isn't Genocider Sho at the same time." said Kaguya
"Huh? What do you mean?" asked Josuke.
"She means that Genocide Jack has a split personality." said Giorno. "The file also said so. It says that the main suspect might have DID, Disassociative Identity Disorder."
"B-But, isn't that a bit too rushed saying that Touko has DID?" asked Chihiro, politely.
L objected.
"No, it's a plausible hypothesis. After she fainted when he saw Ren's corpse covered in blood, she started acting weirdly." he said.
"O-Oh, I see..." said Chihiro.
"See? That's the evidence that Touko suffers from DID." said Kaguya. "Not to mention, once she regained consciousness and Ren's corpse again, she didn't panicked. Because her other personality isn't hemophobic." she continued.
"So, when Touko trapped herself in her room, she was trying to contain Genocide Jack?" asked Loid.
"That's right." said Kaguya.
"H-H-H-H-How?!" said Touko.
"Yeah! How can you know all of this?!" said Aoi.
"Simple, it's about the motives Monokuma gave us." said Kaguya. "As you remember, Monokuma gave to us envelopes labeled with our names. Inside of them there were a secret related to another person. In my case, inside of my envelope there was this." Kaguya took a letter and showed it to everyone.
"It says..."Touko Fukawa is Genocider Sho's alter"?!" said Aoi.
"Ngh!...Y-You...bastard..." said Touko.
"Well then, since we nearly finished, let's hear what the person in question has to say." said Kaguya.
"Y-Y-You mean...?" Touko fainted and regained her senses the second after but...
Something was different with her. Her eyes turned red now she had a comically long tongue.
"Why, hello there! Is it me you were hoping to see?" she said
"What the hell?!" this was the general reaction of the rest of the students.
"Congratulations, you figured it out! But what're ya gonna do, huh?! It is I, the Ultimate Murderous Fiend, Genocider Sho! Or Genocide Jill, if you wish!" said Sho. "Touko Fukawa was just a craptastic name I was born with!"
"I think this is a more than enough evidence. She killed Ren Amamiya. Even the motive is clear. Since Touko didn't know who had the letter containing her secret, she had to act before she was exposed. Now, shall we start the vote?" said Kaguya.
Genocider Sho objected.
"Wrooo~ng! Sorry to burst your bubble but, as much as I hate to admit, I'm not the culprit!" said Sho.
"Huh?" said Aoi.
"But your're the only person here that could murder in such bizarre fashion." said Loid.
"Maybe so, maybe so! But nevertheless, it's the truth!" said Sho.
"Do you have evidence? With your words it's difficult that we believe you." said Valentine.
"The modus operandi matches completely with this murder. What more proof do we need?" said Kaguya.
Giorno objected.
"Wait, there is an inconsistency in the modus operandi." he said. "Ms. Genocide Jack -pardon-Jill, do you mind if you explain it to everyone?"
"With pleasure, Joji!" said Sho.
"It's GioGio. I'm not Filthy Frank." said Giorno.
"Anyway, I murder with passion and conviction! I consider myself a professional, and I have a very particular way of doing things! Imagine you go to a fancy Italian restaurant: they are very picky about the noodles, the sauce, everything! But what happened to Ren...it'd be like if that same Italian restaurant using ragù or Chef Boyardee!" said Sho. Giorno shivered in disgust when she pronounced the name "Chef Boyardee". "This murder is no creation of mine!" the Serial Killer continued.
"...Allow me to rephrase what she just said." said Giorno. "From what I understand, the first inconsistency in the modus operandi is how Ren was killed. According to the case file, all of Jill's victims were killed with a pair of scissors."
"There were no signs that he was killed with scissors. He was probably killed with a dumbbell or with a needle inside the sewing kit.
"There's also another conflicting detail." said Giorno.
"That's right! My recipe of murder, if the bloody message is the tortellini... Then the arrangement of the body would be the pesto sauce!"said Sho.
"Can you not compare your murders to cooking? You're making me hungry..." said Josuke.
"So? What's the second inconsistency?" asked Tanya.
"It's what weapon was used to crucify Ren." said Giorno.
"I-If I remember correctly, he was suspended on the wall with two knives." said Chihiro.
"What's wrong with that?" asked Aoi.
"In all of Genocide Jill's cases, she used a specific weapon to suspend her victims. A pair of razor-sharp scissors, to be exact." said Giorno.
"And guess what? I use my own specially designed scissors for the murders *AND* the arrangement! Like I said: I'm a professional! So naturally, I'm very picky about the tools I use." said Sho.
"In addition, usually Serial Killers kill because of lust. Yes, Ren was sure good looking, but I think I would be the victim of this case instead of him if Genocide Jill did it because of lust." said Giorno.
"What? What do you mean that you would be the victim?" asked Josuke.
"During these days, I've found Touko stalking me. Since when I asked her to hang out She acted as if she was a BTS fangirl who often uses Twitter and who lives on US soil." said Giorno.
"That was...oddly specific." said Lelouch.
"Yeah, I know. Anyway, with that reaction, I presumed that she had a crush on me and thus, she was lusting me. If you presume that both of the personality shares their emotions, there's a high chance that I'm one of Genocide Jill's potential victims." said GioGio.
"That's right! The people that I kill with such passion and conviction are all pretty boys! Also, you theory about shared emotions is correct! Both me and Ms. Morose are in love with you! Kyaaah! I can't believe I said that out loud! I'm so embarassed!" said Sho.
"No shit, Sherlock." said Giorno, respoind to Sho's love confession.
Everyone was quite uncomfortable with Genocider Sho.
"...The hell is wrong with her?" said Tanya.
"I can't help it! I'm just a full-throttle boy-on-boy fangirl! And my mopy side of me hates it..." said Sho.
"All right, you've explained your philosphy in your murders, but it's irrelevant if you're forced to kill in order to survive." said Kaguya.
Genocider Sho objected.
"Oh, please! I would never kill for a reason as petty as mere survival. And, if by some fluke, I did kill to survive...Why would I bother with the message and arrangement?! It would make me the obvious suspect!" she said.
"She has a point." said Lelouch.
"Plus! Whatever reason I have for killing,I would never leave out my prized scissors!" said Sho.
"M-Maybe you used the knives and the sharp needle because you couldn't find scissors anywhere." said Chihiro.
"And that's where you're wrong, Cherry! I don't use some random scissors! I just only use my own set of high class and the entire world scissors!" said Sho.
"But there aren't any scissors in this school." said Josuke.
"Oh, really?" said Sho. then she reveals two pairs of scissors.
"Dojyaaa~n! I'm always full equiped so I can kill anywhere, anytime!" said Sho.
"So, i know it sounds weird to say but, I think she's clear." said L.
"But, the body was crucified, yes? Nobody but the Police knew about that. How is it possible that she's not the culprit?! It's impossible!" said Aoi.
"No, in fact there is another suspect. It's the one that until now was saying that Genocide Jill is the culprit...Isn't that correct, Kaguya Shinomiya?" said Giorno.
Everyone was shocked once again.
"A-Are you saying that...Kaguya killed Ren?" said Chihiro.
"Well, she's the potential suspect." said Giorno.
"...I see. And with what evidence you're accusing me?" asked Kaguya.
"Simple, first, you pushed the theory that Genocide Jill is the murderer WAY too hard. You've probably made the crime scene like Jill did it after you killed him. Then, after we arrived at the swimming pool, you said that we should check the boys locker room, but even though you're girl." said Giorno.
"I should I checked the girls locker room by myself, yes? Wrong, the victim was Ren, a boy. Hence why I said we should check the boys locker room." said Kaguya.
"Hold on a sec! How could you know that the victim was a guy until we discovered the body?!" said Josuke. Kaguya started to lose her composure.
"See? Your claim doesn't hold up." said Giorno.
"Gh!" Kaguya started to panic.
"Also, the sewing kit used as the murder weapon, is only accessible to the girls. So, Giorno's claim is strengthened even more." said L.
"Tch! W-W-Wait a second! How in the world I should have kill Ren! I've never talked to him since we're arrived here!" Kaguya panicked.
"First, not knowing him it's irrelevant. Second , you had a motive to kill him." said L.
"?!" Kaguya was shocked.
"While I was analyzing Ren's corpse I found this torn pieces of a letter. If you connect them, you find this phrase." L recomposed the pieces the phrase that was created is:
"Kaguya Shinomiya is a illegitimate child of the Shinomiya Family. In reality she has power in the Shinomiya Zaibatsu."
Everyone gasped.
"So, if all of our secrets got revealed and the mass media discovered it, it would be the end for her and her family and their rivals like the Shijo group or the Togami Corporation would rise."
"..." Kaguya remained silent.
"Also, I would like to ask a question to Monokuma." said Valentine.
"Sure! What is it?" said Monokuma.
"When a body discovery annoucement activates?" asked the blond young man.
"Let's see...The Body Discovery Annoucement gets triggered whenever at least three people discover a corpse! Killer excluded-Ops! Did I said that loud?" said Monokuma.
"..." Kaguya still remained silent
"Let's finish with a summary of this case, shall we?" said Giorno.
"When we received the motives, the victim, Ren Amamiya, got Kaguya's secret that states she's the illegitimate child of the Shinomiyas. Thus, after Monokuma said that their secrets would be revealed within 24 hours if nobody commited a murder, she decided to act. So, during the night, the blackened invited Ren to join her in anteroom to the swimming pool. She used the sharp needle from the sewing kit and stabbed Ren's brain, causing a brain damage. The culprit stole Ren's E-Handbook to used it to open the boys locker room -stealing E-Handbooks isn't a violations of the school regulations - bring the corpse there. Then, the blacked crucified Ren two knives to the wall. She used Ren's blood the write the word "bloodlust" to the wall and hit Ren's head with a dumbbell to mislead the traces. Then she put Ren's E-Handbook in his jacket and left. Is there something you want to say, Kaguya Shinomiya, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny?"
"...Marvelous. A perfect summary, congratulations. I admit...I killed Ren Amamiya. I...lost." said Kaguya.
Everyone went silent.
"I think we can vote now." said Tanya.
"Ooookay! Now, press the button to vote which person you think is guilty!" said Monokuma.
Everyone voted against Kaguya, who was declared guilty.
"...So it was you, Kaguya..." said Aoi.
"...Correct. There's no need to pity me, I know it's my fault. I know i'm soon going to meet my demise but, I admit, there are some useful people within this group. You all are in good hands. Now, Monokuma, start with the execution." Kaguya ordered.
"All right! Now, I've prepared a special punishment for the Ultimate Affluent Progeny, Kaguya Shinomiya! IT'S PUNISHMENT TIME!"
"Farewell, Hayasaka. I hope you're doing fine." this was Kaguya's last thought.
Monokuma pressed the button.
Kaguya has been found guilty
TIME FOR THE PUNISHMENT!
Kaguya fell into trap and found herself in a trashbin, in a hellish version of her house in Kyoto.
Name of the Execution - Human Disqualification.
Executed: Kaguya Shinomiya.
Many Monokumas dressed as members of Kaguya's family and students from the girl's previous high school, Shuchiin Academy, started to throw various things at her, like she was some dirty hobo. She eventually arrived in a extremely cold place, when she died because of her wounds while she was thinking of her only friend she had in her life, Hayasaka.
Everyone once again was stoned in sheer fear (Except Genocide Jill). Giorno was still the exception. He was smiling at Kaguya's despair. Nevertheless, there was only a thought in his mind.
"W-Why...Why am I smiling? I'm supposed to be sad, and yet...Why am I smiling?"
Meanwhile, the mastermind...
"Puhuhu, Giorno's stating to loving despair! Veery well...Soon, you will be just like me...Lil' bro! 3"
