*Monokuma's theme starts playing*

Monokuma Theater

"Hello there, folks! Welcome to the best intramission in the world, the Monokuma Theater! What? You wanted to know about the second part of Act III? Well, too bad! I'm gonna put some backstory from now on! First, let's spin the "Backstory Wheel"!"

A wheel appeared on the stage, Monokuma pressed a button and it started to spin

Wheel stopped on Lelouch's icon.

"Ding ding ding! This time, we're going to see Lelouch Lamperouge's past! IIIIIIIIIIIIIT'S BACKSTORY TIIIIIME!"

"Ahem,

Lelouch Vi Britannia, Lelouch's real name, was born as the 11th Prince of the Britannian Imperial Family, the rulers the Holy Britannian Empire ( now the United Kingdom of Britannia and Northern Hibernia , an absolute monarchy that sowed despair all over the world thanks to colonies, exterminations, and domions!

The Holy Britannian Empire was veeeery huge! It had the control of all of North America, a good part of Africa, the entire Arabian Peninsula, India, Afghanistan and more!

Now, for 10 years, Prince Lelouch lived a nice life with his mother, Marianne, and his sister, Nunnally while he couldn't care less about the other members of the Imperial Family with the exception of his younger sister, Euphemia Li Britannia.

But Oh Misery! One day Lelouch mother was assassinated and, as the icing on the cake, Nunnaly became both blind AND paraplegic! What a combo!

The little prince, as the annoying crybaby he was, went to complain to his father, Charles Zi Britannia, 98th Emperor of the Realm."

Imperial Palace, London, Capital of the Holy Britannian Empire.

"Annoucing, His Imperial Highness, Lelouch Vi Britannia! 17th heir to Royal Britannian Imperial Throne!" said the guard.

A young Lelouch marched with pride towards the throne where his father, Charles Zi Britannia, was sitting.

"Your Majesty! My mother has been assassinated." he said.

"So?" said Charles.

""So"?" the young prince was shocked.

"Have You demanded for an audience with the Emperor just for report this? Next, I have no time for babysit a child." said the Emperor.

"Father!" Lelouch slightly approached the Emperor. "Why didn't you do anything to protect Mother?! You're the Emperor! The most powerful man in the country or even of the entire world! You haven't come once to visit Nunnally at the hospital!"

"I have no interest towards weaklings like her." Charles responded coldly. "This is what means to be royalty."

"Weaklings...?" Lelouch was offended by his father's words. How dare he be so negligent towards his daughter who is now in the hospital?!

The boy mused, and then he decided that he had enough.

"...Then...I GIVE UP MY CLAIM TO THE THRONE! I HAD ENOUGH OF KNAVISH TRICKS AND PLOTS TO BECOME YOUR SUCCESSOR!" Lelouch snapped but was immediately shut down by his father's response.

"Then, you are dead."

"Huh?"

"By you are speaking, it looks like you had to endure what hardships in order to mantain your status. It is I who put clothes on your back, a roof over your head, and food on the table. You are heir only because I named you one. In short, it is like you have never lived. LELOUCH!" Charles stood up, scaring Lelouch.

"You and Nunnaly will be exiled in Japan. The Prime Minister's son has the same age as you. Make those fools your puppets! The both of you will be the fundemental of the Britannian-Japanese relation!" he proclaimed.

"And thus, our little prince and his paraplegic sister were sent to Japan, where they lived at the Kururugi Shrine, Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi's house.

There, he met his annoying and bratty friend, Suzaku Kururugi. At first an annoying little shit who bullies and beats him up for no apparent reason.

Even so, Lelouch was determinated to take care of his little sister. He would do anything to make her smile, even lying!

While time passed, he received a mysterious power called "Geass" from a mysterious green-haired woman. Everytime a "V" appeared on his left eye, he could give an order to anyone without opposition.

Lelouch was very good at playing Chess, he became a formidable player of that game and strategist.

Also, he became a bit of compulsive liar so much that he was granted of title "King of the Liars"

With all of these successes, Lelouch caught the attention of a notorious gambler that decided to challenge him in a game of Chess.

The location of the game was in a Hotel room.

In the hotel room, a girl dressed in a gothic lolita-style outfit just defeated another man in Chess.

*Knock Knock!*

"Oh, another player has arrived. Come in." she said, with a French-sounding acent.

A man opened the door and the young man in a student uniform entered in.

"Are you Celestia Ludenberg?" he said, with a Queen's English accent.

That person was Lelouch. He was wearing the school uniform of the Ashford Academy, an International School for Britannians located in Japan. The uniform was black with two fleurs-de-lis on the sides of the collar

"Correct. You must be Lelouch Lamperouge, the King of Liars." said the black-haired girl, wearing a gothic-lolita style outifit.

"Gothic lolita? She's quite eccentric. Also, her name doesn't sounds Japanese, is she German? From what I heard it appears that you're my female counterpart. We even share a similar title." said Lelouch.

"I've heard the same about you. Now, shall we start the game?" said Celestia. "Take a seat."

Lelouch sat down and the two started the game.

The first thing he did was moving the King, which surprised Celestia.

"Oh? How curious, you're starting with the King." she said.

"If the king does not lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?" he justified his action.

"I see...He does not seems like a fool, he will not back down. I'm sure it will be pleasant beat him." she thought.

The two continued playing Chess. With these two strong and smart players it end up in...

...a draw?!

"What?" they both thought. They were very confident that one of them will win.

"...I admit, that was unexpected. I've never lost in game, let alone ending up in a draw." said Celestia.

"Same goes for me." said Lelouch. "Even so, it was a pleasure playing with you. Perhaps we should play again."

"I think we should." said Celestia.

"Alright then, see you soon, Celestia." said Lelouch.

"You may call me Celeste. See you soon, Lelouch." said Celeste.

Lelouch left.

"Lelouch Lamperouge...You're a interesting person. I think you have the potential to have a A rank. You're the first person I had to work had against in a while. I can wait to play again with you." Celeste smiled.

Meanwhile Lelouch was returning home, he was thinking about the game.

"That Celeste was a weird person, but sure interesting. It was the first time I ended up with a draw. Well, at least I'm starting to finally have some fun once again." Lelouch entered in his house. "Nunnally, I'm home." he said.

"Welcome back, big brother." said Nunnally, Lelouch's little sister.

"How was school?" she asked.

"It was nice, I've joined a Chess Club and I met a new friend." said Lelouch, lying.

"Really? Who are they?" asked Nunnally.

"It's a girl, her name's Celestia Ludenberg. She's a formidable player. "

"So she's just like you." said Nunnally.

"Well, you can say so. I mean, we're also both compulsive liars." said Lelouch.

Lelouch went to cook for dinner and after they ate they went to sleep.

The days passed and Lelouch and Celeste played many times (all of them ending up in a draw). They played so much that they started to develop some sort of friendship.

Celeste was fascinated by Lelouch since he's very sophisticated, elegant and confident, just like her.

Lelouch was quite of the same, he finally felt a challenge in a game he's very good at from someone who isn't a member of his family (*cough* Schneizel *cough*).

But, even if they became friends, they were stil determinated to beat the other in Chess.

"Soooo, did you liked this chapter? Lelouch meets Celestia, two notorious liars! Isn't that wonderful? Anyway, next time on the Backstory Arc: An Italian who has a dream meets an excellent pianist in Morioh! BYEEEEE!"
