Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan all landed with the Supreme Kai at the entrance to the ship which seemed innocuous and well hidden as the entire thing was buried under the Earth. The Supreme Kai and his attendant's face was grim while the three saiyans looked at the relatively small entrance. It seemed to be a small bulb of nothing substantial, smaller than the modest home Goku and his family lived in.

Hard to believe an entire spaceship was buried in their.

"So this is where this wizard is?" Vegeta scoffed, raising his hand as a sphere of ki formed, "We may as well destroy the ship by firing a blast into it."

The Supreme Kai made to protest so they could find Buu inside and destroy that when a powerful ki appeared and rushed the Z-fighters. Gohan leapt to intercept and was met face-to-face with Cell, a majin symbol etched into his skull. The Supreme Kai, Kibito, Vegeta, and Goku all leapt away as Gohan and Cell traded blows before one solid cross blow sent them both back. The three warriors watched as Cell was joined by two more figures, all of them stamped with Majin symbols and one of them shocking all of them, Goku most of all.

It was his mirror image garbed in the Saiyan battle suit that Vegeta wore the first time he came to Earth. Even his tail was there, wrapped around his wait like a belt. Over one of his eyes was what looked to be some sort of updated scouter that The Frieza Force commonly use to gauge opponents power levels and receive transmission. He wore a lopsided cocky smirk that radiated a sense of superiority and crossed his arms in obvious arrogance. He raised an eyebrow at Goku and Gohan, but his expression soured in distaste at the sight of Vegeta alongside them.

"Dad…" Gohan muttered, "Is that you?"

Goku frowned, "His ki is like mine… but I would never join Babidi or let him control me to destroy the Earth!"

The Goku look-alike saw Vegeta and scoffed, "Prince Vegeta? You're alive here? Well I suppose I'll have to remedy that problem once again."

Vegeta scowled, "What was that?"

"Now Babidi!" a voice interrupted.

"Papara!" Babidi declared while waving his hands.

The world flashed and suddenly everyone but the two Kais, Babidi, and Dabura remained.

"Wha?" The Supreme Kai sputtered as his allies vanished leaving behind three teleportation pads.

Dabura blitzed into their space and slammed a fist into Kibito and The Supreme Kai's stomach, causing them to collapse on the floor in pain. Babidi skipped over to them and laughed, "I was going to kill you, but Fuhai had a better idea! We'll keep you here to watch your warriors fall against ours, and Buu is revived! Then he will kill you as he killed all your other beloved kais!"

"A simple teleportation spell." Dabura drawled, "Once there is a victor to those fights, our allies will return with the corpses of your pathetic warriors. And then we will have Buu kill you."

Vegeta opened his eyes and blinked at what looked like a perfect replica of Planet Vegeta in its prime. There were no Saiyans bustling in the streets, but the buildings were intact and Vegeta even saw his old palace in the distance. He couldn't help himself and walked the empty streets, taking everything he once was destined to rule over. He eventually entered the palace only to see this version of Kakarot reclining comfortably on the throne that was to be his and Vegeta scowled in more than rage.

This version… was the stereotypical Saiyan.

He was an utter savage with no temperance or class.

He was what Vegeta had once aspired to be all throughout his life.

How could he have ever this would be something to be proud of and something to be emulated?

"In my world, you called me — Kakarot — a low-class trash." Kakarot boasted from his seat, "Right before we fought and I killed every one of your loyal saiyan but you. I trained hard and with each saiyan I slaughtered I was one more step to breaking you. I relished your death, a supposed prince left a broken man with nothing left. Especially after I tossed you the corpse of your father, brother, his wife, and the nephews you never got to see. Maybe after this I'll kill your children and then pay a visit to your wife, show a real man before I add her to my playthings too?"

Vegeta ki exploded out of him in response to his rage, the fabricated world around him shaking from the sheer power that was coming from Vegeta.

Kakarot didn't realize how strong this version of the Saiyan Prince was as his advanced scouter exploded in a shower of sparks.

"You've just signed your death warrant in your own blood." Vegeta snarled.

Gohan realized this was a replica of a empty patch of earth where there was a small tournament stage set like the World Tournament Stage. He turned to Cell who was patiently waiting for him to adjust and smirked at the Saiyan hybrid.

Then Cell began to talk to the hybrid, dark pleasure dripping from every word.

"In my world, I killed you when you were to unable to beat my perfection with the power Goku said you had. It was a shame that I had to kill all the Earth Special Forces as I knew the were the best chance at any entertainment after you. I could've let them live, but I knew they would become a threat to me if I let them live to grow stronger. Then after a time I realized that the dragon balls existed and could be used to weaken me, they could even be used to kill me if they were strong enough. So I visited Namek and blew it up, intent on making sure that they never be a threat, of course the dragon balls were also on Earth, so I had to blow up my home planet. So imagine my surprise when I found out that Krillin had been the one to survive and who trained your brother — Son Goten, was it? — to try to beat me." Cell pretended to forget, knowing the slight against Gohan's little brother would anger the half-saiyan, "To his credit, Krillin almost killed me and Goten came even closer, closer than even you had come to best me. But in the end, I left him for dead with a hole in his chest and Krillin had to end his own life to somehow stop me. Maybe I'll do the same to your current younger brother, he'll be weaker, but the anguish he'll feel when I tell him I killed you would be nice to see. Then I'll tear him apart alongside your mother."

Gohan's mind flashed back to the hopelessness of fighting against the androids, losing so much and never seeming strong enough to win. The sadism and violence of the monsters that let their bloodthirsty destruction roll over the planet he wished to protect from such chaos. It would not happen again, he would never let the earth ever fall into that sort of oppression ever again. He'd lost family and that had damn near crippled him in grief the first time around before finding purpose in training trunks. He now knew he had been heading into death with that last confrontation before Xtrunks had come to fight alongside him. It had been dark and hopeless number of years and he would never wish it upon anyone because it was the worst sort of torture imaginable.

But what made him more determined than ever was that he finally had what he lost back and vowed to never stop training to protect it.

He would never feel that loss and pain again.

He would not fall to the evils that plagued the universe and have others become what he had been through those hopeless years.

The thought of his sweet albeit powerful little brother forced into the same role that he had because Gohan failed?

No.

It would not happen.

Gohan eyes filled with tempered fury, and he transformed into a Super Saiyan, "I am going to destroy you and will stop you right here. You will not touch my family or anyone else every again!"

Turles tossed a few familiar fruit into the air before catching it in his mouth and biting into them before eating them whole; his power rising steadily as he sneered at Goku, "Seeing as my associates have tagged your allies, I suppose that leaves me to deal with you."

Goku face was set in a dark frown, "I don't even know who you are, but why would you want to help Babidi? Why destroy the world?

"Really? Well no harm in telling you I guess." Turles replied, amused, " I already destroyed many worlds in exchange for power in my timeline. I set the tree of might to devour the planet's energy to make fruits of might for me to devour. One bite and your power will rise incredibly and who doesn't want the power to crush all of his enemies? When I cam to earth to plant the tree, you tried to stop me to save your pathetic planet. I took pleasure in watching you die. You fell so easily and your son valiantly tried to avenge you in his grief and rage over your murder. He died begging for your forgiveness but — unfortunately — as a corpse you weren't able to reply. Then I strangled him, it was a shame he wouldn't take my offer to work under me. Maybe your other son will reconsider once I've killed you?"

Goku eyes darkened at the threat against his family, "You won't get a chance."

Dabura was smirking at the grounded Kai when suddenly a barrage of ki blasts hit him and sent him grunting and flailing away from the unexpected attack. In a flash, a small bald human, a taller three-eyed man, and a black haired scarred human grabbed Kibito and the Kai and blasted away in a burst of red ki. Dabura and Babidi looked on in shock before rationality kicked in and he flew after them in hot pursuit, pausing only a moment for Babidi to create the energy draining lamp on his back. Babidi had the Kai dead to rights and his obsession to unveil Buu had now made them lose their best chance at killing him.

Still, there could be a benefit to this.

Those humans had… power, and the could use said power to further along Buu's resurrection and destruction of this world.

Then the rest of the backup arrived and Dabura wished he had stayed in the spaceship.

Fuhai slinked away from Babidi's shift after tampering with what remained in the ship before he stretched out a hand and opened up a portal to his own little pocket dimension. Sure it wasn't a real world or timeline, but it was a place he could sit at and watch events unfold at his leisure. He wondered if it was really okay to mess with this timeline, but it wasn't technically supposed to exist in the first place so he didn't think anything of it. As for the people he kept dropping in this timeline? He wasn't affecting events from other timelines as he was plucking characters from points where the no longer did anything noteworthy afterwards.

Well maybe Kakarot may have gone on to rule but he wasn't immortal, and he was he didn't know that frost demons he had subjugated has been about to blow the planet up. He was sitting on a very literal bomb about to go off as they gathered their ki to blow the planet up immediately with all their power. He was cruel to his own people so they hadn't help any loyalty to him and they left the planet under the guise under finding a new planet for them to subjugate. He had minutes left and didn't even know it.

Fuhai settled in to watch the crystals that showed the fights.

Kakarot and Vegeta traded blows as they battle across the replica of what was once their home. Kakarot slammed into a city and tumbled through several buildings as he failed to catch himself after a kick slammed into his stomach. He leapt from this tumble into the sky only for Vegeta to blindside him with a punch into his face and sending him spiraling back down into the ground. He fired ki blasts at the prince, but Vegeta swatted them out of the air and into the surroundings, explosions sending plumes of dust to hang in the sky. Kakarot ki flared as he rushed at the prince only to be easily avoided and back-handed back to the ground.

"What's wrong?" Vegeta mocked as he lowered himself to land on the ground, "I thought you were going to kill me? Is this really the best you can do?"

Kakarot bristled as this fight had not been going well for him since he started, and that was being conservative. He may have been fast — especially since he bested Burter of the Ginyu Force — but Vegeta was faster by a considerable margin and easily kept pace. Vegeta's power also outstripped his by a decent amount, able to take blows without flinching and delivering far more painful counters and paybacks. While Kakarot had been taken aback by Vegeta's initial burst of power, he had thought it simple a reaction borne of fury. Kakarot could blow up planets if he wanted, and — even in his timeline — Vegeta was capable of the same. It was galling that Vegeta had been able to keep up and surpass Kakarot so so easily even if it wasn't the same timeline.

Even so, Kakarot had no plan on losing to this wannabe royalty.

Super Saiyan was only one of his transformations he had learned about while struggling to break free of the low-class brand that had been stamped on him since birth. He had raged and hated, basking in the power of his Great Ape Form until he realized he was gaining clarity the more he used it. It took a more than two years but he had finally managed to create a form that was capable of utilizing the power without transforming into the bulky and oversized ape form that usually accompanied it. He had managed to perfect to where it didn't hurt him and he was able to keep his sanity after going feral far too many times he had first acquired the form. He closed his eyes and his focused on the primal rage that simmered in his blood as his eyes flashed as the iris became yellow and his hair leapt up to flutter in an invisible breeze. He roared — echoing his Great Ape's voice — as flickers of orange danced across his skin and cratered the ground around him before smoothing into a uniform orange flame-like aura around his body. His power level grew until it was ten times what it was previously and his wounds began to heal up rapidly. Confident that he could take on Vegeta now, he turned to smirk at Vegeta who seemed unaffected by the change that occurred in Kakarot.

Kakarot hid his annoyance, Vegeta was just acting tough.

Kakarot disappeared in burst of orange and slammed a fist into Vegeta's chest, sending the prince skidding back as he managed to stay on his feet. Kakarot followed with his ki raging around him as he advanced, smirking at Vegeta who was rubbing his chest with a grimace. He threw another punch only for Vegeta to catch the blow in his hand without looking up, ignoring the blast of wind that blew past them as he stopped Kakarot's momentum cold. Kakarot paled as Vegeta's eyes snapped up to him and he pulled him into slam a punch into his face. Kakarot let out a cry of pain and moved with the force to land a decent distance away.

"An increase of only that much?" Vegeta laughed, "That is nowhere near enough power to close the gap between us. And here I thought I would be getting an actual challenge. You dare call yourself a saiyan with such a pitiful performance?"

"What the hell is this?" Kakarot demanded furiously, "How can you withstand my Primal Wrath so easily?"

Vegeta laughed, "You think such a minor transformation with a fancy name would be enough? I have spent years honing my abilities and training with powerful warriors. I have far outstripped the average Saiyan and am one of the strongest warriors in the entire universe! Let me give you a small demonstration of how strong I am!"

Vegeta got into his stance and roared as he began to power up, his ki flaring as a pillar of his ki shot into the sky. The entire facsimile of the planet shook under the force of the Prince letting our his power without holding back. Kakarot fought to keep from being blown away from the sheer force as even his primal ki was flaring away behind him. When Vegeta was done powering up, he was shrouded in his own white aura and smirked at the dumfounded look on Kakarot's face.

He had never known a Saiyan could even be this strong but he supposed it made sense in a way. Kakarot had taken down King Cold relatively recently and was enjoying taking over the universe after he restructured the forces to fall under his rule. If this Vegeta had long since lived past Frieza and his families' death in his timeline — the prince had always mad it a point to gather more power even before his death — then he had years of life to spend training his powers. The royal family was not the type to languish in status even when they had it all. Even that weakling Tarble had guts and grew stronger than his low-class ranking would have shackled him as before Kakarot killed him. Kakarot however didn't have any challenges after he killed Frieza, Cooler, and King Cold; he was undisputed as the strongest being in the universe. He trained but he never managed to grow with any appreciable gains without an adequate sparring partner. This Vegeta had and alternate version of him to clash against over and over while pushing himself farther and that apparently was the key difference, a rival to constantly scale to.

"Are you ready Kakarot?" Vegeta queried, "Welcome to the end of your life, and I promise it will not be a gentle one."
