"Klaus, why are you doing this? I hoped we could stay friends."

"Friends? We will never be just friends, we are either lovers or enemies, but we are not friends"

"Then let's be enemies" Caroline stated and sat down on the bed in defeat.

"You would like that wouldn't you? As I stated one time or the other that I intend to be your last love. And you are going to be that one way or the other"

"What are you saying?" Carolien asked, voice almost a whisper in fear. She already knew the answer.

"That you are either going to be my girl alive or one in death."

Their conversation was interrupted by a cell phone ringing that came from under the mattress.

"What the hell is that?" Klaus threw the mattress off the bed while Caroline stood up and was angry to find that the ringing was Caroline's cell phone that had Damon's number on display.

"You have been talking to Damon while I was away?" Klaus pulled Caroline by hair and threw her against the wall with so much power he could muster so Caroline fell on the floor unconscious.

"Samuel? Trevor?" he yelled for his hencemen, clearly angry that they hadn't taken her cell phone with them when they locked her in the room.

Bonnie, Stefan and Damon had reached the house they believed to be the building where Klaus was holding Caroline. They parked the car a little far away so they wouldn't be seen from the house.

"Bonnie, how long does it take to get the barrier down?" Stefan asked Bonnie.

"It's done already, I've been working on it for a while now."

"Great, let's go, Damon."

"Wait, human Stefan isn't going to meet the oldest Vampire in the history and his gorillas. I'm going alone"

"You can't go alone, Damon" Stefan answered his big brother.

"Would you stop arguing, please! We are all going." Bonnie raised her voice so the brothers would hear her correctly.

"Whatever, Let's just go." Damon said, already annoyed of the whole thing.

But when the entered the house and searched all the rooms they had to come to a conclusion that it was empty and Klaus had taken Caroline somewhere else.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it" Stefan swore angrily and threw boxes laying around across the room.

Damon got a hold of his brother fast and tried to calm him down: "Brother, calm down! SO she's not here. We'll find her wherever she is. It's just a matter of time"

"Maybe not" and both brothers looked at Bonnie holding a piece of paper, her face looking very grim.

"What does it say`?"

Bonnie gave the letter to Stefan who read it out loud.

"Dear, Brothers!

You are never going to see Caroline again. If she won't be with be willingly alive then she's as good as dead to both me and you and for the rest of the world. Stefan, you will never continue your marriage with Caroline. I will always have the last word when it comes to her.

Best wishes,

Klaus"

"He's totally lost it. Klaus has totally lost it." Damon exclaimed.

Bonnie had tears in her eyes.

Stefan was clearly in shock.

Later, Bonnie tried to another locator spell and came up with nothing. She couldn't even get a read whether Caroline was still alive or not.

Stefan was clearly in despair when he was drinking by the fireplace of the house where Caroline was suppose to be.

Damon was at the loss of words for the first time in a long time and grabbed a drink as well while Bonnie tried to create a workaround to Klaus' witch's spell. But to no avail.

What they didn't know at the time was that Caroline was there, in the house, but in the secret hideaway in basement and she was bitten by Klaus who wasn't there anymore.

SO what do you think, what happens now? Do the trio find her? Where is Klaus? Can Caroline be saved?.

Even I don't know myself where I'm going with this story, but it's fun to write it.
