Those were sad days in U.A and Japan. The villainous All for One and his empire had finally been destroyed, but at the cost of losing All Might's successor, and his rival/best friend.
Therefore, the staff and students of U.A. They were having nearby, a mournful ceremony at the site of the last battle, and among them was a little girl, one of the first people Izuku "Deku" Midoriya had saved.
Eri, like everyone else, was sad, because her hero had disappeared, her guardian, Aizawa and Mirio had tried to explain it to her, feeling a pang of guilt, seeing how that news had once again erased the little girl's smile.
And while the mournful ceremony continued, the little girl had separated from the group, wandering, to where the rubble was that had not yet been cleaned
It wasn't fair, why did the people she loved have to be in danger or disappear? She wanted to see him again!
At that moment, due to the feeling of sadness, Eri's quirk activated, with the tip of her horn beginning to glow, discharging in a pulse of energy, and while that would have returned objects or people to a previous state or even disintegrated them, Eri accidentally being in the right place at the right time, would give her a chance to get something back.
Because right in that place, there was the fissure/portal through which Izuku had disappeared, which, thanks to the residual energies and Eri's Quirk, appeared again, and whose brightness caught Eri's attention.

In that, Mirio, Aizawa and Inko heard the voice of the little girl, near where the final battle took place, watching in horror as Eri advanced towards a portal, the same one that made Izuku disappear.

With the two adults and Mirio, not being able to help it, arriving just before the portal disappeared, and what they saw, instead of making them sad, made a mother cry with happiness, and gave relief to the pair of heroes, so they saw.
"Take good care of her, Problem Child" Aizawa said, before returning, there was much to do, and maybe still a chance to recover the best hero of the new generation
In Onigashima, just after getting rid of Malice, Izuku and Yamato were preparing to leave, only in front of them, a portal suddenly appeared, which Izuku recognized immediately, putting on his guard.
