ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Good Housekeeper
After the havoc caused by her brother Shane, Stephanie tries to rebuild the McMahon family name, but the DX family are weary of her intentions and Seth and the God Girls wonder who in the wrestling world they can really trust as they prepare to go to war with Bray Wyatt.
Chapter Fifteen – In Case of Emergency Kick A**
The Reigns Household, Pensacola, Florida
Abiyah Rollins played around with Ra-Ra while Roman nervously watched his wife pack her overnight bag.
"Honey, you really don't have to come to New York with me and Seth. We'll be fine, I promise," he said as Galina loudly zipped her suitcase shut.
"The last time you promised nothing would happen in New York, you slept with Sasha Banks. I don't care what you say Roman I'm coming with you and Seth to New York City," Galina said and Roman furrowed his brow.
"What do you think's gonna happen?" he asked his wife concerned. For some reason, Galina wasn't okay staying in Pensacola with Steph and Jeff Hardy, whose marriage was in a much better place since they moved in with the Reigns family.
"I think the Hardys would appreciate having our home to themselves, plus I just don't trust Sasha. She barely called while Abiyah was here and if she's treating her son like an afterthought, I want to know why. I thought she loved him, now she's acting like she couldn't care less about him," Galina said. "I'm all for Seth and Sasha working things out but I just don't think it's going to be that easy,"
"You're up to something Gal, what is it?" Roman asked his wife with his arms folded.
"Okay, I was going to wait until we got to New York to tell you this, but I think you need to file for full custody of Abiyah right now," Galina said. "I think Sasha Banks is an unfit mother and her behaviour is having a knock-on effect on you,"
"Look Gal, Seth and I have got this I really don't want you getting involved. There is so much more to what's going on than just Abiyah and the further away you are from all of it, the happier I'll be. Please stay here with Steph and Jeff Hardy and let me and Seth take care of business like we always do," Roman said and Galina tried not to overstep; she knew that there was more to what was going on than just Sasha's bad behaviour. But as far as she was concerned when it came to Sasha, Roman and Seth did not have the best judgement.
"Look, just let me come with you and I'll hang out with the God Girls. I won't get in your way, okay?" Galina said.
"No, you'll just get in their way. Galina please just stay home," Roman said but Galina's mind was made up.
"No can-do Joseph, I'm coming along for the ride," she said and Roman realised what it was that his wife was afraid of.
"You don't think I'm gonna come home do you?" he said. "You think Sasha's gonna hurt me somehow?"
Galina said nothing, instead she walked down to the foyer without saying a word. Her silence spoke volumes to her husband who now started to wonder if he had underestimated just how mad Sasha Banks was. Nobody knew him better than his wife other than Seth and even he had been far more accommodating of Sasha's behaviour lately.
Seth and Sasha arrived and as soon as they showed up, Roman made them both something to eat before they all got in his car and left for New York City.
"Ra-Ra you're back!" Seth said as the beloved family pet licked his face. "If you're coming to New York City we're going to have to fly there on Shawl. There's no way I'm getting you through customs,"
"Why don't you take Abiyah, and we'll go to the airport with Sasha?" Galina said to Seth and Roman gave him a knowing look. Seth turned to his wife who really hadn't shown much interest in Abiyah since they arrived.
"Are you okay to go with the Reigns?" he asked her.
Before the Boss could respond, in a rare show of initiative, Seth's prayer shawl scooped up Seth, Abiyah and Ra-Ra and flew to New York City while Sasha opened her mouth appalled.
"Urgh, I should have that flying prayer shawl shredded!" she snapped, and the Reigns balked at her tone.
"We need to talk," Roman said to Sasha.
"No kidding, that's why you had your wife fly my husband outta here," Sasha said. "Well, whatever you have to say it can wait until after I talk to Aunt Steph, plus I could do with another batch of your home-made donuts,"
Truth be told, it wasn't Shawl who flew Seth away to New York City, it was God, via the God Girls. Seth was needed in New York right away, there was some urgent business to attend to and the Prayer Warrior did not need his wife distracting him anymore than she was already.
