We made it back to the clubroom at the junior high. The only one who was there was Akeno. She was picking up some papers and putting them into the recycling when she noticed us arriving.
"Welcome back, you two," she said to us. "And of course, welcome to the clubroom, Lord Sirzechs," she said while kneeling in front of him.
"Is Isaiah and Tosca still passing out flyers around town?" Rias asked her.
"Yes, but they should be done soon. It is getting late for a school night." Akeno informed her.
"And Shirone?"
"Grayfia came by to pick her up earlier." Akeno would use a magic circle to pull out an old looking camera into her hands. "Morisawa gave her this camera as his payment. It's quite an old one, but she said that it still works." So Shirone is already back at home and also managed to get the job done. I'm sort of proud of her. Kinda wished I was here to see her come back.
"So what happened? If it required the likes of Sirzechs, it should be something important," Akeno asked.
"You could say that, Akeno." Sirzechs said as he took a seat in the clubroom. "Kuroka managed to find something very spectacular."
"Spectacular?" I asked.
"Hm? So you couldn't huh?" Sirzechs asked as he sits himself up in his seat. "I guess we have some time for a quick story before we head home. Akeno, mind making some tea?" He asked her.
"Of course. Right away," she said as she makes her way to the kitchen area.
"Alright Kuroka, everything I'm going to tell you is very important, so listen carefully," he said to me.
"Ah, y-yes sir." I said as I took the seat across from him. "So, what is this story about, meow?" I asked him.
"A bit of devil history. This was even before I was born," he said. During the time, Akeno managed to come back with a cart with a tea kettle and cups, placing one in front of him before pouring the tea in, bowing afterwards. Sirzechs would take a sip of the tea before speaking. "This is the tale of two dragons that nearly destroyed the Three Main Factions."
["In today's news, a tragic accident has happened at sea. A cruise ship carrying more than 233 students has mysteriously sunk into the ocean. The "Heavenly of Aloha" is a cruise ship line specializing in showing the people aboard the many islands of Hawaii, and the 2nd year Students of Ryoukuu High School…"] a news anchor said on the walls of T.V's in a electronics store. It was the afternoon after Lord Sirzechs told us that story. Today was a free day so I decided to walk around the city with Shirone. There was a group of people standing in front of the building, so we decided to check it out. Apparently a bunch of high school kids died on a school field trip. The cause of why the ship sank is still unknown. A lot of people think that the cause of it was some kind of supernatural activity while others think it was some act of terrism.
"During class today, we made cards to the families who had lost their children during that event. A couple of the students were related to them," Shirone told me. "There have been news reporters around the school for days trying to interview the younger family members."
"Have they messed with you?" I asked her.
"Not really. They thought I was related to someone named Sae Toujou until they looked up her family records. She was an only child," she explained.
"Huh? I didn't know that Toujou was that common of a family name." I said as I continued to walk down the sidewalk, with Shirone following me behind.
"By the way, how did you choose that last name, sister?" Shirone asked me.
"...to be honest, I just base it after the [Rook] piece, the one you was given," I explained to her.
"After my piece?"
"Yeah, I thought it would be easy enough to remember than to think of an entire last name or use Gremory." I said. "Plus, it sounds cuter, don't you think, meow?"
"...Yeah it does."
