Slug Fu Showdown Pt 2
As the spiders attacked, Eli, Harley and the others leapt off their mechas. "So, I guess we made a wrong turn?" Eli asked. "Sacré bleu, I hope so!" Kala cried in fear. "No! This is exactly where I wanted to bring you." Junjie said. Just then, the spiders all started dropping in and landed on the group. Kala shrieked at each one that landed on her as Aerona and Fareeda brushed them off. "Harley, duck!" Yu Jie exclaimed as she saw a spider coming down towards Harley. Harley ducked as she kicked it away. Junjie fired his Thresher and used his Slug Fu to cut the spiders' webs. Burpy and Hestia hopped out of their barrels and breathed fire at the spiders, scaring them away.
"I thought we were gonna train!" Eli exclaimed. "Yeah! Instead, you led us into our graves!" Harley exclaimed. "This is your training! Just what you need to unlock Slug Fu!" Junjie exclaimed as he directed his Thresher to slice through the stalactites on the cave roof, causing them to fall on the spiders and crushing them. "Jun, this is not the way we were taught!" Yu Jie exclaimed as she slung her AquaBeek, using her Slug Fu to spray several spiders while spinning. "This is exactly how we were taught! When we focused on the dangers around us, we obtained the potential to unlock our Slug Fu!" Junjie exclaimed. Yu Jie didn't like the way Junjie was misusing their teachings to endanger their new friends.
"Burpy! Hestia! Inventory!" Eli called as Burpy and Hestia hopped back to him and Harley. Burpy and Hestia hopped over to the backpacks and called out the new slugs. "I know you guys will do your best." Eli said. "This is not about them! This is about you! We have shown you the moves Slug Fu requires! But to do them, your minds must believe they will work!" Junjie exclaimed. "We'll do our best." Eli said. He loaded Rex and charged in. But suddenly, 2 Arachnets were slung out of nowhere and webbed Eli to a column. "What the?!" Eli exclaimed in shock. "Eli!" Harley exclaimed. Just then, a bunch of people in spider costumes came running out of a tunnel. "Hey, aren't those Blakk's old goons?" Aerona asked. "What're they doing here?" Paulina asked. Junjie smiled at this. "Your training begins now." He said. "How many times does he have to say that?" Harley asked as he tried to pull Eli free.

Junjie fired his new Gazzer, using his Slug Fu to send him towards the goons. But one of the goons slung a Megamorph Tormato and sent the Gazzer flying back to Junjie with Slyphoon. Junjie got out of the way as the Gazzer hit the column above Eli's head. "Eli!" Harley and the Garcia Quadruplets cried as the Gazzer's gas sprayed all over Eli, causing him to start laughing hysterically. "Nice!" Eli exclaimed as he laughed. Just then, one of the goons slung a Megamorph Armashelt. Eli ducked as the slug destroyed the column. "You're gonna help me out, right?" Eli laughed as Burpy burned through the webs. "As much as it pains us, this is the only way." Junjie said as he slung Shang and took control of him with his Slug Fu, knocking down a couple of goons. "You and your brother must experience maximum pressure to open your mind to Slug Fu." "Hate to admit it, but he's right." Fareeda said as she slung Thunderstorm and took control with Slug Fu, firing several concentrated Tazerbolt at the goons.
As another goon charged for Eli, he playfully slipped under him and ripped off his extra right arm, causing the goon to hit his head on the broken column. "Too slow, spider guy." He said. But then he realized what he just did. "Oh, man. I am so sorry!" But then he saw that the arm was a fake. "Oh, it's fake. It's a fake! Look at you! Awesome! That is the stupidest uniform I have ever seen!" He laughed. "That might be a Gazzer gas talking, but he's right. You guys look even worse than when you were working for Blakk." Harley said. "What? What happened? I want to go home." The goon said in shame, pain and confusion. "Hold it! What're you guys even doing here?" Aerona asked as she stopped him. "I thought Viggo set you guys straight after the last battle at Blakk's Citadel." Kala said. "It's not our fault! I don't know what happened! Everything's all a blank! Whatever's going on, we're sorry!" The goon cried. "Wow. You are so pathetic." Harley said.
"Guys, look." Yu Jie said, spotting a glow in the tunnel. "What's down that tunnel?" Aerona asked. "I'm not sure. But it's nothing good." The goon said. "We better check this out." Harley said. As they walked down the tunnel, the Gazzer's effect on Eli wore off. "I haven't laughed that hard in ages." Eli said. Just then, they stopped at the sight of some kind of machine. "Whoa. That's crazy!" Eli exclaimed. "What is that?" Fareeda asked.
Meanwhile, the Shane Gang had arrived in Molemound, suspecting that Sedo and Munch retreated down there. Little did they know, someone was moving through the trees. "Molemound. Can't believe we're back in this crazy hole in the ground." Kord said. "Yeah. Glad that Harley's not with us." Dana said. "Last time I was here, I was recruiting Pinto into my old gang. Luckily, it was the only time I ever came here." Will said. "Let's make this fast, Pronto. The longer the Elementals are out of our hands, the more nervous I get." Trixie said. "This will take mere moments to resolve. By law, all molenoids must obey the king, which is me. If so, that's so, Sedo must obey me when I order him to return the Elementals." Pronto assured. "BIG BROTHER!" 5 familiar voices called. "Uh-oh." Pronto mumbled. Suddenly, his quintuplet siblings pounced on him. The gang laughed at this. "Oh, hello, my little siblings." Pronto greeted as he hugged his siblings. "Can't believe I'm saying this, but it's good to see you 5 again." Trixie said. "We're happy to see you guys too." Elle said. "You came just in time." Russell said. "Sedo's inside the throne room. And he has your slugs." Michela said. "Not to worry, my wee ones. Pronto will have this matter settled in due time." Pronto said. As they walked into the throne room, a mutant spider creature watched them from the trees.
Inside, Sedo sat on the throne as he admired his possession of the Elementals. Munch stood beside the throne like a bodyguard. "Whose got the awesome-est Elementals? Is it me? I think it's me." Sedo said. "It is you, Sedo." Munch said. "Yes, I know it's me, my friend." Sedo said. Just then, the Shane Gang entered. "Well, well. Look who's swanning about as if he owns the place." Sedo said. "That's because as king, I do own the place. Therefore, it is my right to demand that you return the Elementals! And bring me a cave crawler sandwich, extra slime. And no crust!" Pronto ordered. "Ahem!" Dana cleared her throat. Pronto turned to see the gang's deadpanned faces. "Oh, right. But first, bring me the Elementals!" Pronto ordered. "I believe I shall not." Sedo said. That made Pronto gasp. "You would disobey your king?! Guards! Seize them!" He ordered. "Guards! Seize them!" Sedo ordered. "No! I insist that you seize them!" Pronto ordered. "And I demand that you seize them! And their blasters too!" Sedo ordered. Munch and the molenoid guards whipped out their blasters and aimed them at the Shane Gang and the quintuplets. "And Pronto demands to know why the guards don't obey my demands!" Pronto demanded. "The Book of Molemound, the blessed volume clearly states…" The advisor started to say as he brought up the Book of Molemound, blowing off the dust from the pages…into Pronto's face. "…that whomever possesses the most awesome-est slug shall rule the cavern." "Sedo the splendid possesses the Elementals, the awesome-est slugs in all of Molemound, and is now the king!" Sedo declared. The molenoids bowed before their new king. "Now, guards, arrest these fools!" Sedo ordered. Munch and the guards turned their blasters back on the Shane Gang and the quintuplets.
Meanwhile, Eli's group examined the cave with the machine. "Okay, I'm just gonna say it. That doesn't look good. This base, all these guards." Eli said. "He's right. We're totally outgunned here." Harley said. "Not if you can do Slug Fu. This is the moment you need. When your desperation will force your minds to open." Junjie said. "He's right. This is your exact moment." Aerona said. "Okay." Eli said unsurely. As he took aim and slung Maggs, he closed his eyes and concentrated, opening his mind. As Maggs followed his directions, catching one of the goons by his blaster with Magnacoil, he started to glow blue. Harley, Junie, Yu Jie, the Fuurins, the Garcias and even the goon were in awe at this. But Eli suddenly lost concentration and Maggs popped back into her protoform. The goon recovered and took aim at the Slicksilver. "Maggs!" Eli cried. Unfortunately, the goons heard him and sounded the alarm. "That's definitely not good." Fareeda said as the goons charged towards them.
Meanwhile, back in Molemound, Sedo and Munch had the Shane Gang and Pronto's quintuplet siblings tied up in the center of the throne room. "Now that I am king, all of you, kneel before Sedo!" Sedo ordered. The molenoids kneeled before him. Little did they know, the spider creature lurked through the roots from the ceiling. "What do you think you're planning to do, Sedo?" Nelson asked. "You should be grateful. Sedo the splendid is going to use the Elementals to remake Molemound into the classiest cavern in all the 99." Sedo explained. "You can't! It's too dangerous!" Trixie exclaimed. "Can't? Now that I have these, nobody can tell me I can't!" Sedo exclaimed. "Having the Elementals doesn't make you superior to us all, Sedo! You have no idea the powers they have!" Will exclaimed. "Oh, and what do you know, Will Shane? You know nothing of anything." Sedo said insultingly. The molenoids gasped at what their king had just said. Even they had a respect for Will's knowledge. "With this slug, I shall create that swimming pool we have always wanted." Sedo said as he loaded Torrent in his blaster. "Um, sir? Perhaps you should rethink this." The advisor advised. "Quiet! As my subjects, you will be seen and not heard!" Sedo demanded. "This is gonna end badly for him." Deagan whispered. Lash and Vance nodded in agreement.
Sedo slung Torrent and overflowed the entire throne room. Everyone coughed up any water they accidently swallowed. Flares, Quake and Sora cheered for the Torrent's action. "Fear not, my soggy subjects. The Fire Elemental will dry us out." Sedo said as he loaded Flares. "Anyone else think this is a bad idea?" Kord asked. The molenoids immediately raised their hands. "Whoa. This is a first." Dana said in shock. "Sedo, you gotta stop!" Trixie exclaimed. "Please, sir! Enough is enough!" The advisor begged. But Sedo slung Flares and hit the water, causing a huge cloud of steam to boil everyone like a sauna set on overkill. "Wind! We need wind to cool our boiled bodies!" Sedo whimpered as he loaded Sora. "NO!" Everyone exclaimed. But Sedo slung Sora and created a massive windstorm, throwing everyone around and freeing the Shane Gang and the quintuplets from their bonds. "The Earth Elemental will build a barrier to protect us!" Sedo exclaimed. But suddenly, a web snatched Quake from out of Sedo's hand. Sora noticed this and popped back into her protoform, ceasing the windstorm. Everyone looked up as they see the spider creature snatch Sora. "No!" Trixie cried as Flares and Torrent were snatched as well. The spider creature cackled as he leapt down. "So long! And thanks for all the slugs, fools!" He said before leaving.
"Who the heck was that creep?" Kord asked. "Never seen him before." Dana said. "Me either." Mario said. "Anyone you know, Will?" Lash asked. "Nope. Never met a giant spider before." Will said. "He took off with all the Elementals!" Trixie cried. "Well, not all of them. I mean, we still have Doc, Wizard and the other 4." Pronto said, gesturing to the 6 Elementals on his belt. "But where's he taking them?" Vance asked. Kord locked on the Elementals with his tracker. "I got a lock on him! Let's go!" He exclaimed. As the Shane Gang hustled after the spider creature, the molenoids glared as they gathered around Sedo and Munch. "Obviously, since I no longer have the Elementals, I am not the king. So, bye!" Sedo whimpered as he and Munch tried to run. But the quintuplets stood in their way, blasters aimed right at them. "The only place you 2 are going is Stalagmite 17." Michaela said. Sedo and Munch gulped in fear, knowing how scary the quintuplets get.
Meanwhile, Eli, Harley and their group started to fight against the spider goons. "Take them out, Burpy!" Eli exclaimed, slinging Burpy. "Hestia, help Burpy out!" Harley exclaimed, slinging Hestia. Both Infurnuses knocked several goons off their feet with Flashfire. But as they popped back into their protoforms, they were snagged by a dark energy whip. As he dodged an incoming slug, Eli grabbed one of the spiders and spat a web in the goon's face. Then he tossed the spider at another goon. "Harley, on your left!" Satoshi called. Harley ducked as a goon slung a Vinedrill. Satoshi countered with his Firenzar, blasting the Vinedrill down. "We can't learn Slug Fu like this! It's too hard to concentrate with all the shooting and the ducking! And the trying not to get killed!" Eli exclaimed. "He's right! It's too hard!" Harley exclaimed as he tossed a goon over the railing. "No. Not too hard. Too easy! I thought this test would push you both to your limits. But your limits are greater than we anticipated." Junjie said. "You know, a person can take that the wrong way." Harley said as they continued to fight. "He's right. Even without firing slugs, you find a way to prevail. Your minds will only accept Slug Fu when you have no other option." Yu Jie said as she fired another slug.
Just then, Eli and Harley were snatched by the same dark energy whip. "Eli! Harley!" Paulina cried before she and her sisters were snatched too. Junjie, Yu Jie and the Fuurins were captured as well. They were all then spun together and trapped in cocoons made out of dark energy. Junjie and Aerona, much to their embarrassment, were trapped in the same cocoon with their faces almost touching. "Oh! This is…awkward." Junjie said, blushing hard. "Yeah. I guess so." Aerona said, blushing hard. "Well, well, well. I'd say you're all out of options now." Heltora's voice said as she appeared, making them gasp in shock. "Heltora!" Eli exclaimed. "Nice to see you again too, Shanes." Heltora said. "Ah. Excellent." The spider creature said as he appeared. Kala shrieked at the sight of him. "Who are you?" Harley asked. "I am Spirex!" The spider creature, Spirex, exclaimed, cackling through the cave. "Going on a limb here, I'd say he's that new villain." Fareeda said.
Meanwhile, the Shane Gang was still tracking the Elementals that leads them to Spirex's cave. "How close are we, Kord?" Shimei asked. "The tracker says we're really close." Kord said. "Let's hope it's soon. My butt's actually getting sore from mecha riding." Vance said, rubbing his sore butt. Pronto got down from Fernando, picked up a clump of dirt and sniffed it. "You picking up the Elementals' scent, Pronto?" Kord asked. "Oh no, no, no. I was just looking for something to eat." Pronto said as worms poked out of the dirt. He ate the dirt and sucked up the last worm. "Wormy goodness." The gang shook their heads. "Where's Harley when we need him?" Joshwa grumbled as Kord looked at his tracker.
Meanwhile, back in Spirex's cave, the spider goons were preparing the machine. "A gaggle of humans trapped like flies in a tangled web of misery and failure." Spirex said. "Burpy. Hestia. You guys okay?" Eli asked. The slugs chittered sadly. "My queen finds it odd that you've arrived just as my master plan was about to unfold." Spirex said. "Perhaps we have a traitor in our midst." Heltora said. "Spiderlings! Front and center with plenty of hissing!" Spirex ordered. The goons approached their leaders, hissing as required, as if they were in a trance. "Humans can be so untrustworthy. Even if you make them look like noble spiders, they still act like lowly humans." Spirex said. "How did you even get them to work for you? We thought they redeemed themselves after we defeated Dr. Blakk." Kala asked. "Let's just say I have a natural talent in my dark magic that makes even the smartest of men do exactly as we say." Heltora said as her eyes glowed a slightly dark pink. "That explains it. These goons aren't willingly working for them. They're mesmerized." Aerona deduced. "Now which of you told these fools about my plans?" Spirex asked. The goons shrugged and shook their heads. "Your henchman told us-" Junjie tried to say. "It's hard to say. Your Spiderlings all look the same to me." Eli said. "Yeah. Even I can't tell them apart in those stupid outfits." Harley said. "But I remember he said something about the Elementals." Eli said. "Ah, the Elementals. The only slugs powerful enough to trigger the fault lines that run through Slugterra." Spirex said as he showed his captors a map of Slugterra with the direct location of the fault lines. "But why would you want to do that?" Aerona asked. "Because triggering the fault lines will reduce everything you mammals have built to rubble. Slugterra will be unlivable for you. But we spiders are perfectly happy living in rubble. The world will be ours." Spirex explained as he petted a passing spider. "Yes, it will. Won't it, baby?" Kala felt like throwing up. "This is my nightmare." She said as she gagged. "And the quakes will also destroy this very cavern. I and everyone I love will have left for safety." Spirex said. "Uh, excuse me? You know these guys aren't really spiders, don't you? I mean, these arms just snap off so easily." The one free goon said, ripping off his remaining fake arm. "Well, well, well. A free thinker. How disgusting." Heltora said with a glare. "Too much talking! Not enough hissing!" Spirex exclaimed as he webbed up the free goon.
"How did you obtain the Elementals?! How could you even know of them?!" Junjie demanded. "Simple. I told him about them." Heltora said. "In fact, she's told everyone in Slugterra about them." Spirex said. "Check it out. I never miss an episode of Late Night with Max Jackson." He turned on a replay of Heltora, disguised as a normal female slinger, on Max Jackson's show. "And that's how the Shane Gang rescued the Air and Water Elementals from Dr. Blakk and the Goons. Hilarious, right?" Heltora asked with a bit of giggles as the audience laughed. "Wow. I almost expected Pronto to pull off something that stupid." Harley said. "And thanks to her, I happen to know that you, Eli and Harley Shane, are the Aether and Nether Elementals." Spirex said. Eli and Harley growled at that mention. "With the 12 Elementals in my possession, the fate of Slugterra is sealed!" Spirex cackled. Just then, Heltora counted the Elementals. "Problem. We only have 4 OF THE SLUGS!" She exclaimed. "What?!" Spirex asked as he exclaimed in surprise before counting the slugs himself. "1, 2, 3, 4? Well, that's just wonderful! We can't power a Quake Cannon without the Energy Elemental! And we can't trigger all the fault lines without the other 5! And I doubt they're simply going to stroll into this cavern!" He exclaimed. "Don't get mad at me, Fly-Breath! You were the one who was supposed to snatch them from all those other second-rate villains!" Heltora exclaimed.
Just then, the Shane Gang appeared before everyone, blasters ready. "Ha-ha! We have come for the Elementals! Hand them over!" Pronto demanded. Heltora squinted her eyes and noticed Doc, Wizard, Thunderbird, Glace, Gaia and Toxiana on Pronto's belt. And suddenly, she moved at blinding speed and swiped them. "Hey!" Pronto exclaimed in shock. "We'll take these, thank you." Heltora said mockingly. "Uh-oh." Pronto said. The gang started firing their loaded slugs as Heltora handed the Elementals to Spirex. "Spiderlings, ATTACK!" Spirex ordered as he pulled himself to the top of his Quake Cannon by his webs. The goons started firing back, but the gang managed to blast them down.
"The Energy Elemental is the last piece of the puzzle!" Spirex exclaimed as he loaded Doc into the Quake Cannon, powering it up. "Power up the Quake Cannon!" "Quake Cannon coming online. Power levels at 15% and climbing. HISS!" One of the goons at the controls reported. "Uh, why do they have to hiss? Snakes hiss. Spiders don't hiss." Daichi said. "Actually, some of the bigger ones do. They kinda keep us up at night." The free goon said. Pronto fired Shelly at the webs, freeing Eli and the others. "Great timing, guys." Eli said. Just then, Spirex loaded Torrent into the center of the Quake Cannon. Torrent started going around in circles at blinding speed. "Water Elemental loaded! Initiate launch sequence now!" Spirex ordered. "Launch sequence initiated." The goon said. "More hissing!" Spirex exclaimed. "HISS!" The goon hissed as the Quake Cannon started charging up. "We gotta stop Spirex and Heltora before that cannon gets to full power!" Eli exclaimed. "Or better yet, blow that hunk of junk up!" Kord exclaimed. "I like the way you think, Kord!" Joshwa exclaimed as he slung Frose. Trixie followed by slinging Pounder. The rest of the gang followed with their slugs. But the slugs just bounced off the Quake Cannon without making even a single dent. "The slugs can't make it through!" Kord exclaimed. "That is so not good!" Deagan exclaimed.
"Cannon is charge at 100%. Commencing launch. HISS!" The goon said as the cannon prepared to fire. "Fire the Water Elemental!" Spirex ordered. "Affirmative. HISS!" The goon said. The Quake Cannon fired Torrent, sending him towards one of the fault lines. "And so begins the rein of the spiders." Spirex cackled as the gang looked on with worry.
"Prepare the cannon for the Air Elemental!" Spirex ordered as he headed up to the cannon with Sora in his grip. Kord fired Sploder at the railing Spirex was on. Spirex dodged the incoming slug and webbed himself up to the cannon. "Spiderlings, stop them!" He ordered. The goons fired their slugs, but the gang blasted them back. "Incompetent mammals!" Spirex exclaimed as he loaded Sora into the cannon. "Initiate launch of the Air Elemental!" He ordered. "It'll take too long for the cannon to charge up. Hit the big red button!" Heltora ordered. One of the goons at the controls pushed the red button and the Quake Cannon charged to 100%. "Whoa. The cannon charged up quickly. Impressive." Spirex said. "HISS! Opening Air Elemental Bombay Door. HISS!" The goon said as the Air Elemental Bombay Door opened. "Fire the Air Elemental!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Sora towards the next fault line.
The gang got closer as Spirex was getting Flares ready. "Now is the time for Slug Fu, Shanes. Certainly, with the world at stake, this will be the moment it clicks." Junjie said. "Junjie's right. It's now or never." Yu Jie said. "Go, bros! It's all on you!" Kord exclaimed. "We'll cover you!" Dana exclaimed. "You got to stop Spirex before he launches the other Elementals!" Trixie exclaimed. "Let's go!" Eli exclaimed as he and Harley took off towards the cannon. "Initiate Fire Elemental launch!" Spirex ordered as he loaded Flares. "HISS! Launch initiated." The goon at the controls said, pushing the button and charging up the machine to 100%. "You know, if you had reminded about that big red button, it would've saved us a lot of time." Spirex said as he landed next to Heltora to bring up the next Elemental. Just then, Heltora noticed the Shane brothers heading right for them. "Launch the rest of the Elementals. I'll deal with the Shanes." She said, leaping off the platform to confront the Shane brothers. "Fire!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Flares towards his fault line.
As Eli and Harley got closer to the cannon, Heltora landed in front of them. "Sorry, boys. But I'm afraid I'm gonna have to detain you until Spirex finishes the job." Heltora said. "You can't stop us, Heltora." Eli said. "Yeah. Nothing can stop when it comes to protecting the slugs and Slugterra." Harley said. "Very well then. Let's see what you got." Heltora said with a devilish smile. Eli and Harley put their blasters away and took a stance as they started to glow blue and red. "Ice Elemental loaded! Initiate launch!" Spirex ordered as he loaded Glace. "Launch initiated. HISS!" The goon said, charging up the cannon. Heltora fired spheres of dark energy from her hands. Eli and Harley created shields from their Aether and Nether powers, blocking the spheres. "Well, well, well. Looks like you've grown stronger with your Elemental powers." Heltora said as she formed her dark energy whips in her hands. "We picked up a trick or 2. It's all about concentration." Eli said, forming a blue crystal sword in his left hand. Harley growled, switching to his Darkbane mode as he formed a red crystal hammer in his right hand. "Elemental weapons. Fascinating." Heltora said.
"Fire!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Glace towards her fault line. Eli and Harley looked up as Spirex prepared Thunderbird. "Prepare the Electric Elemental!" Spirex ordered as he loaded Thunderbird into the cannon. "You'll not stop this, Shanes." Heltora said. "Oh yes, we will." Harley said. Heltora whipped her whips at the Shane brothers as they used their new weapons to block her attacks. "Fire!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Thunderbird. Harley roared as he prepared to drop the hammer. Heltora managed to block the blow with a dark energy shield, but the force of the blow still forced her on her knee. "Is that the best you can do?" Heltora asked with a mock. She blew Harley back with a dark energy pulse. "Harley!" Eli cried. "Ready the Toxic Elemental for launch!" Spirex ordered as he loaded Toxiana into the cannon. Eli moved around Heltora's whips and managed to slash at her, leaving a small cut on her cheek. Heltora wiped a bit of black blood from the cut on her finger. "Impressive. But you'll regret that." She said. "Launch Toxic Elemental!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Toxiana towards her fault line. Heltora snagged Eli in her whips and tossed him into Harley.
"Ready Psychic Elemental for launch!" Spirex ordered as he loaded Wizard. Eli and Harley groaned as they recovered. "Quake Cannon charged to 100%. HISS!" The goon said. "Launch the Psychic Elemental!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Wizard. "Wizard!" Harley cried. "It's too late, Shanes. As soon as the last 2 Elementals are fired, the fault lines will be destroyed and Slugterra will be nothing, but a lifeless wasteland." Heltora said. "Prepare the launch of the Plant Elemental!" Spirex ordered, loading Gaia. Eli and Harley looked on with worry as the cannon reached 100%. "Fire the Plant Elemental!" Spirex ordered. The cannon fired Gaia. Eli and Harley glared at Heltora, aimed their weapons at her and fired 2 beams of Aether and Nether energy at her, knocking her against the wall.
"Ready Earth Elemental!" Spirex ordered as he loaded Quake. Eli and Harley, after he changed back to human, hustled towards the cannon. They bounced off a couple webs up to the railing in front of the Bombay Door. "One chance left." Eli said. "Right. We have to stop Quake from being fired." Harley said. The cannon prepared to fire. "Okay, Burpy, Hestia. This is it. Do or die." Eli said. Burpy and Hestia hopped into their barrels. Eli and Harley loaded them and took aim. "Fire the Earth Elemental!" Spirex ordered. "HISS! Affirmative." The goon said. As the cannon fired Quake, Eli and Harley slung Burpy and Hestia. "The slug and I are one." Eli said as he and Harley attempted to use Slug Fu. "Our thoughts and moves are theirs." Harley said. But Quake bashed through Burpy and Hestia. "NO!" Eli cried. Burpy and Hestia crashed near the wall. "Burpy!" Eli cried. "Hestia!" Harley cried. Suddenly, as Quake headed towards them, Eli and Harley raised their hands and Quake froze in midair in a blue veil. Eli and Harley were shocked and confused by this. "What?! How?!" Spirex asked. Heltora recovered and saw this. Even Junjie and Yu Jie were surprised by this. But as hard as Eli and Harley struggled to keep their hold, Quake broke free and headed towards the final fault line. "No!" Eli cried. "Quake!" Harley cried.
"Excellent. The million Armageddon is proceeding as scheduled." Spirex said. "So, what's next?" Heltora asked. "Simple. Engage Safety Cocoon!" Spirex ordered. "HISS! Safety Cocoon engaged." The goon said, activating a cocoon shaped pod. "Sorry, there's no room for any of you in here." Spirex said as he hopped inside the pod and locked himself in. "Well, I suppose that since the spider wishes to survive alone, there's no need for these 'Spiderlings' anymore." Heltora said with a huff. She snapped her fingers and the goons snapped out of their trance. "What?" "Where am I?" "How did I get here?" "Why am I dressed like a spider?" The goons asked in the confusion.
As Pronto sucked Doc out of the cannon and back into his barrel, Eli and Harley regrouped with the others. "We saw it. You 2 did Slug Fu!" Junjie exclaimed. "Yes! You 2 actually did it!" Yu Jie squealed. "Whatever that was, it wasn't enough." Eli said with worry. "He's right. The Elementals will impact their targets in 90 seconds." The goon at the controls said. "Wait. If Heltora freed you guys from her control, why are you still here?" Trixie asked. "Well, we want to see how this plays out since building this machine was technically our fault." The goon said. The Elementals exited the cavern and continued on towards their targets. Sally and Old Timer looked up to see Flares pass over their cavern. The Shadow Clan watched as Sora passed by them, knowing that it meant danger. At the Shane Hideout, Eliza saw Gaia fly over her as she was feeding the pets and looking after Xana. "That can't be good." She said. "We gotta turn them back." Daichi said. "You did it once. You can turn them back before they destroy Slugterra." Junjie said. "We don't even know what we did!" Eli exclaimed. "Yeah, you guys are the ones who know about Slug Fu!" Harley exclaimed. "Yes, but only you 2 have the connection with slugs that will enable Slug Fu to work on the Elementals." Yu Jie said. "Buy why would it work now when it didn't before?" Eli asked. "Because now you believe it can." Junjie said. Eli and Harley looked over to Doc as Pronto presented him to them. Doc nodded. Eli and Harley nodded back.
The goons all started chanting 'Slug Fu!' as Eli and Harley took position. Even Heltora watched from afar, eager to see how this would play out. "Come on, guys. Let's turn around." Eli said as he and Harley attempted Slug Fu. "You will obey us. You will not fight us." Harley said. At first, the Elementals would not respond. "Maybe you will fight us!" Eli exclaimed. Doc hopped up to Eli's shoulder for inspiration. "We can do it, Eli." Harley said. Eli nodded. "Back against the wall. Empty mind. Open to believing. We're all in this together." He said. As the brothers opened their minds and started to glow, the Elementals and astral forms of the First Protectors fly around them. Just then, as the Elementals were nearing the fault lines, they responded to Eli and Harley, and turned around! "Yes! That's it, guys!" Eli said. The gang and the goons all cheered. Even Heltora applauded softly with impression. Sally and Old Timer looked on happily as Flares passed over them again. The Shadow Clan waved to Sora as she passed. Eliza, Xana and the pets watched as Gaia passed over them again. "Eli and Harley." Eliza said, knowing that her sons had saved Slugterra once again.
"You and Harley did it, Eli." Junjie said. "We knew you could do it." Yu Jie said. "They're coming back." Kord said. "Elementals never come back." Pronto said with disbelief. "First time for everything." Eli said. "You said it." Harley said. The Elementals returned through the tunnels they were fired in, popped back into their protoforms and landed on Eli and Harley's arms. "Way to go, guys!" Eli cheered. "We knew you had it in you!" Harley cheered. 'On the contrary. We knew you had it in you.' Wizard said. The other Elementals nodded and chittered in agreement. Just then, the Safety Cocoon lowered to ground level and Spirex entered, thinking that his plan was successful. "And now, my lovelies, we will inherit…" He started to say. But then the goons turned their blasters on him. "Spiderlings. Perhaps we can discuss this. I know where there's a web full…full of nice, juicy flies. Num, num, num, num." Spirex said. "For the last time, we're NOT SPIDERS!" The first goon from before exclaimed. "He's all yours, guys." Eli said. "I am your leader!" Spirex exclaimed as the goons led him away. "We'll have him delivered to Stalagmite 17 personally for this." The goon from the controls assured. "Good to know." Harley said.
"We had not planned for you 2 to face a trial as formidable as the Elementals." Junjie said. "Yes. But in the end, it took their challenge to push you to your limits and open the door to Slug Fu." Yu Jie said. "She's right. You boys did well today. And I couldn't be any more proud of you." Will said. "So, I guess we should owe Heltora a big thank you." Pronto said. The gang looked around, but Heltora wasn't anywhere to be seen. "She's gone." Harley said. "Not for long. I sense she'll show herself again soon." Eli said.
Afterwards, the gang returned home to the hideout. "Ah, it's good to be home." Harley said. Eliza was standing outside the hideout with Xana in her arms, along with the pets that were beside her. Bella ran over and pounced Eli, licking him affectionately. The gang laughed at this. "Bella! Come on, girl! Enough!" Eli exclaimed as he playfully shoved Bella off of him. "So, what exactly happened out there? I saw Gaia fly over the hideout twice and figured it had something to do with you guys." Eliza said. "It's quite a story, Mom." Eli said. "You can tell me later, Eli. Right now, I have a bit of a surprise for you, Garcias." Eliza said. "A surprise? For us?" Fareeda asked. Eliza nodded. "Okay! You 2 can come out now!" She called into the hideout. As the door slowly opened, Will and the Garcias got a surprised look as Cilan and Tad emerged from the hideout. "Daddy?! Little brother?!" The Garcia sisters exclaimed in surprise. "Hi, girls." Cilan said as he greeted his daughters. "Miss us?" Tad asked with a smile, happy to see his adopted older sisters again. The sisters shrieked as they rushed over and embraced Cilan and Tad in a big emotional group hug. "I don't believe it." Eli said. "That's Cilan and Tad Garcia. The sisters' father and adopted brother." Harley said. Will was still so surprised, he couldn't even speak. His best friend and oldest partner had returned to Slugterra. "Surprise." Eliza said with a smile. "We have much to talk about." Cilan said as he hugged his daughters. Pronto, however, was looking suspiciously at Tad, the same way he looked at the Garcias' old family photo, sensing that there was something not right about him.
Meanwhile, Spirex was brought to Stalagmite 17. The other prisoners watched as Spirex was brought into his cell. "Get in there, freak!" The guard exclaimed as he shoved Spirex into his cell. Spirex looked around his cell as he was locked in. "Alone. Marvelous." He said as he sat down on his bed. "We're all alone in here, friend." A familiar voice said. Spirex was surprised by the voice. "But you see, you're wrong. You're not alone." The voice said. Spirex looked over to the air duct, where the voice came from. "Welcome to Stalagmite 17." The voice greeted. "And who are you?" Spirex asked. "Name's Dred. There's darkness coming, my friend. And when it gets here, and I promised it will, best place to be is on the winning side. With all of us." Dred said through the air duct. Spirex then heard all the other prisoners cackling through the entire prison. Unable to resist the urge, he started cackling along, sensing a great future for evil.
OMG! Wasn't that an epic climax?! The new villain, a spiderling named Spirex, attempted to use the Elementals to trigger the fault lines and destroy Slugterra! Especially with help from Heltora! But Eli and Harley managed to finally use their Elemental powers, open their mind to Slug Fu and save Slugterra from destruction. And not only that, but the Garcia sisters got their surprise and learned that Cilan and Tad had come down to Slugterra. But Heltora managed to escape. What other evils will the Shane Gang encounter?
