Zavala took them to a place where they can dress up for a secret rich club, where the rich and scum are held at. It's good thing he knows somepony to go in with fake ID's to get in safely with no issue. Zavala also knows someone to make very nice dresses and tuxedos ,but the only problem is when they are heading there. " NO!!" Zipp said, aggravated of this idea." Ma'am you need to calm down." A friendly mare that goes by the name of Wendy. " Please calm down, let me.-" she tried again to get her measurements. Ever since they got to the dress shop, Zipp refuses to dress up and she hates makeovers. " I said No!! I don't like make overs it's the not best thing in the world for me or dresses!!" Zavala rolled his eyes " Your kidding me right?."
Zipp shook her head no. "Listen Zipp you need to do this or else we are all going to miss that event."Zipp crossed hooves together in a disapproving way. "Ok fine have it your way;Hitch can you please reason with her? I'll be outside and not get Frustrated myself." He walked out, Hitch took a deep breath and looked at her. "Zipp please we have to do this, it's only for tonight and we won't do it again ."
He said to Zipp but she looked away in anger. "Zipp what made you not like makeovers." She looked at him "Because I'm not like other mares out there Hitch, I'm..I'm...different." She said looking down. "I'm not like other mares that likes make up or dresses like my sister Pipp. I like things that are dangerous, exciting, heart pounding, and solving mysteries."
She said with a smile but she looked down "No pony will understand me Hitch." She said, Hitch than took her hoof "Zipp that's not true our friends understand, I understand you. You are somepony that I admire and cared about." He said with a smile " Like I said before it takes time." Zipp smiled at him, she looked at the dresses and took a deep breath."Ok Hitch I'll do it." He smiled and zipp gave him a nuzzle which shocked him but didn't mind. "Ahem! Well if you two love birds are done I have just the right color to make a dress for you." Wendy said which made both Zipp and Hitch blush.
Later
Hitch had to stay outside of the room, luckily Wendy had a tuxedo for him to wear. "Voila!!" Wendy said, he looked back at her and Zipp. Hitch was shocked to see Zipp in dress for the first time, she was wearing the same colors of her color skin and her mane.
Hitch's jaw dropped for seconds, Zipp felt embarrassed wearing the dress. "So uhhh how do I look?" She said shyly, Hitch is lost in words for the first time in his life. Zipp is wearing a dress and he noticed that she's bright. Hitch without thinking said " Wow you look beautiful." Hitch said which made Zipp blushed, "Well you look rather dashing yourself sheriff." She said playfully. Hitch blushed at that but still he couldn't help but laugh and she laughed as well, " Good you both are ready." They both looked at Zavala and nodded.
They left outside and Zavala tipped Wendy " Thank you for your help, I owe you one." She nodded " It was my pleasure Zavala. I hope we get to hang out together one day." She said, Zavala looked at her " Hmm maybe." He said and they were off.
The Manehattan Club
" Well here we are!" Zavala said pointing across the street. " Well it's sort of a big thing thing here. Almost everypony in Manehatten is in this club so make sure you guys keep a low profile." They walked to the entrance with two security pony's and gave them a nod for them to two enter. " Wow I thought we are going to be stopped." Zipp said, Zavala nodded his head no. "Nah, they know me. Besides everypony does and that's what happens when you help good ponies out here" Zipp, Hitch, and Zavala all went to a huge room that's so big to have a party or a ball.
Zavala looks at them and gives them a device of sorts." Here take these."He holds three comlinks. "They're comlinks, you put them in your ears." They put them in there ears. Wait we don't know who we're looking for." Zavala looked at them and showed them a picture of the pony they're looking for. "His name is Hambler the Gambler, he has a reputation of winning any gambling and bets. So once you find him contact me. He also owes me favor for helping him with some cases." They both nodded "Oh and one more thing stay out of trouble, some of these ponies make look nice but, I suggest not to let your guard down." Zipp and Hitch nodded so they split up, but Hitch with worries on their eyes. "Be safe." Hitch said to Zipp. "You too Sheriff."
"Alright ladies and gentlepony's just relax and be smooth with your mare, have a good time on the dance floor." Said the announcer with the microphone. "Alright let's play some awesome smooth music, the song is literally called smooth."The band play like Mexican and rock music together, it's so fluent, so jazzy perhaps. In the mind of Hitch started to talk to himself "The music is very catchy but I'm so worried why?" He said as he's looking for the pony in the picture. He can't explain why but then he realizes he's worried about Zipp, even though she can take care of herself.
He wants to be with her. Hitch tries to get rid of that thought. However at the other side of the ball room, Zipp feels the same way towards Hitch. She wants to be near him so much. It's like something is missing right next to her. As the music finally came to a close the announcer is about to sing another."Alright, alright, I hope you lovely love birds out there grab your mares and dance with the song "The Love of My Life" he said.
The music played, Hitch saw the stallions and mares with each other about to dance then the singer started to sing.

The slow dancing from every pony following the rhythm of the music. Hitch and Zipp stared at them dancing showing their affection to each other but then Hitch stared at Zipp and she stared back. The singer again sang on the mic.

Hitch and Zipp walked though the ponies
on the dance floor as they look at each other. Hitch lift his hoof up as a request to dance with her, she stares at and took his hoof and they dance.

Hitch and zipp holding on to each other swaying left and right. Both of them so close to comfort that neither of them want to leave each other.

The ceiling opens to see the night sky, the stars shine bright. Hitch and Zipp looked up for second, they looked back at each other, Hitch sees her eyes sparkle beautifully.

The rhythm of the music increased, all the ponies danced like there was no tomorrow. Hitch and Zipp saw this and looked at each other, with Hitchs fast reflexes he decided to do the same. "Shall we?" He said, when he leaned on Zipp and dipped her almost falling but Hitch had her hoof on hers and a hoof on her back so Zipp smirked. "Let's do this." They danced, laughed, and most importantly they're in love but however who be the one to confess their feelings to each other first?
Outside the dance floor, Zavala is seeing everything from a far. Let's be honest he's surprised at the sight, Hitch and Zipp are definitely in love with each other but, he knows it's dangerous. So he rather not say anything on that matter. But before he was going to get them he'd than spot sompony familiar, he saw the Gambler himself. So he smirked and waited for Hitch and Zipp to finish their dance.
Hitch and Zipp were amazing at dancing, it's like they know what to do but with without saying anything. When they finish dancing Hitch still has Zipps hoof and he did something unexpected for both them, he lean and kissed her hoof. That made Zipp blush and smile. "Oh such a sly stallion Hitch." Hitch giggled but then the realization hit him like a rock, 'I am in love with zipp!' He thought so he was going to tell her how he feels but he doesn't know when? Maybe just maybe now? "Zipp there's something I want to tell you." He was ready to say it "I..." There was a moment of silence until."Clears throat" sorry to interrupt but you both are good dancers." Zavala said "I found him follow me." They followed, Zipp walked next to Hitch. " So what were you going to tell me Hitch?" Hitch than told her. "I'll tell you next time, when I get the chance ok." He said, which Zipp nodded.
They both followed him and saw him the Gambler making his routine on how to win. "Alright!! That's a win!!" The dice landed on an eight. The one who tried take a bet lost and hitting the table like Young foal. "oh man!! Here." He place down the items he bet on and left. The gambler then notice a couple of ponies coming this way and of course it's detective Zavala. "Well, well, well if it isn't detective Zavala." He said.
Zavala looked at him "Hello Gambler we need to talk about that favor you still owe me." He nodded "Well of course my friend and who are these two?" He pointed at Hitch and Zipp. "It's a along story."
Zavala asked him to have this table private for them to talk, he explained how Zipp and Hitch got to Manehatten. He also explained about Gladus and the three henchmen that stole the unity crystals. Though what got his attention was the three henchmen. "And well that's that." Zavala said as he drank a cup of coffee. The Gambler was puzzled but intrigued " So you both are from Maretime Bay right?" Zipp and Hitch nodded. "I think I may help you with your problem, the three henchmen you mentioned are colleagues of mine." He said which shocked Zipp and Hitch but not Zavala. "I thought as much." Zavala said as he looks at them.
"Look I have nothing to do with this but I will help you, one of them is here underground on this building." He said, in which they got up from the table. "Follow me." They all proceed to follow him to one of the henchmen. As they were doing that Zipp and Hitch had the time to take of there disguise. "I got to admit Zipp I didn't know you can dance like that." Hitch taking off his tuxedo. "I didn't know I had it in me." Zipp looked at Hitch and he looked back. Then both looked away blushing. "Though I am glad I can take this stuff off." She said taking off the make up as well. "Well if you need a dancing partner I'm here." Hitch said without thinking, Zavala look at them to see there banter between them and knows what's going on so he smirked.
As they walked down the hallway, they can hear the music above them. "When Absol came back well just himself, He had something on his hoof. It was something I've never seen before like a diamond." Hitch clicked in "That's the earth pony crystal!" Hambler looked at Hitch. "Oh so that's what it is, hmm well then." They finally made it to the door."Let's have a talk with him." He open the door and they saw Absol watching tv. "OH YEAH!! You got that ball come on!!" He was yelling at the tv but he did heard the door open. "Hey Hambler, you got the drinks I aaaa..." but what he ended up seeing was not the drinks but two ponies he recognized.
"Oh crud umm Hi!!" He said sitting in his couch. Zipp step forward angry at him and dragged him out of his couch in a hoof lock. "Ahhh!! Hold on!!" Zipp wasn't hearing it, she's mad. Hitch smirked and came over. "Well hello there, you have something that doesn't belong to you." Hitch said, Zavala stepped in to stop there fun. "All right you kids, I think he as enough." Zipp let go of him and he plopped on the floor, Absol then squirm like a little foal. "Wow did you find me?" Zavala looked at him. "Well my friend Hambler here told me you were hiding and I had hunch."
Then hambler step in. "Hey Absol I heard you stole something from them and that's a big no no on your part." Hambler said "Hey!! It's not my idea and plus I reconsider stealing the crystals." He said trying to reason with them. "Look please you have to listen!! We thought we're getting a special prophet out of this but instead we got hung up by a pony that wants to get rid of magic!!" He puts his hooves on his mouth. "I said to much did I?" Hitch than grabbed him " What do you mean get rid of magic?!" He said, but Absol doesn't know and the only thing he can do is a gesture of 'I don't know'.
"Here's the Earth Pony crystal." Absol gave Hitch the crystal. "But what about the Unicorn crystal and the Pegasus crystal?" Hitch said, Absol then told them where. " The unicorn crystal is at Klurgtown and I don't know where the Pegasus crystal is at but Gladus has it."Zavala looked at him. " And where is he?" He asked "I don't know. He just took the Pegasus crystal and left." They looked at each other and Zavala have an idea . "Ponies pack your things, We are going to Klurgtown." Zavala said and look straight at absol. " And you are coming with us."Absol perched up "WHAT?!"
