~ Chapter 9 ~

PART ONE

The night air swirled around them, it was so peaceful out here at night. The moon was shining high in the sky, and the stars were twinkling festively under the moon's loving glow. The couple were suppose to be enjoying there last night at their secluded cabin in the hot tub or taking a dip into the heated pool. The air was a tiny bit smoky, as Sasuke and Naruto entered huge glass doors leading into an even bigger and completely crowded art exhibit. Today, Deidara was being honored as the artist of the year for his explosive, captivating, and intriguing artwork. There were a few paintings scattered around, but Dei wasn't known for his paintings. No, he was known for his sculpting. Naruto's hand glided into Sasuke's, as he lead them over to the bar, were they saw the life of the party.

"Sas! Ru! I'm so glad you both could make it, hmmm!" Deidara said with a big hug for both of them, making Sasuke chuckle at Naruto's ridiculous nickname while Naruto huffed a bit.

"Blondie, what did I say about that awful nickname?" Naruto said sternly but his eyes were light and amused. Deidara took a sip of his drink, putting a finger to his chin as if he was thinking, but his wide grin defeated the purpose.

"I think I recall you loving the nickname Ru, just like I said I guess I will… tolerate the nickname Blondie." He said causing Naruto to chuckle, Deidara hated being called 'blondie', it was one of the explosive blond's biggest pet peeves, and once Naruto found out about it, he did everything he could to tease the blond. Sasuke could do nothing but look on with a smile, he loved to see two of his closest people bonding, even if it was a teasing, fuck you, sibling kind of bond. The two blonds weren't that far off in age, which always threw Sasuke off.

"Naru, stop teasing Dei or I'm going to get Itachi. Dei, stop calling my man that ugly ass nickname, it makes me want to gag." Sasuke said as Dei handed him a drink suddenly almost like magic.

What is he? The drink fairy?

Sasuke thought with a scoff as Naruto wrapped his arm around Sasuke's waist, giving him a kiss to his forehead. Sasuke could feel that Naruto's mouth was stretched wide into a teasing smile.

"What's wrong with Ru?" Dei asked nonchalantly making Sasuke roll his eyes and Naruto, who also now had a drink in his hand, chuckle.

"Dei, we talked about this." Itachi said suddenly joining the party at the bar.

"Ooooh… now you're in trouble." Sasuke said with a giggle as Itachi gave Sasuke's shoulder a welcoming squeeze before giving Naruto's fist a familiar bump.

"I'm not in trouble… Itachi loves when I misbehave hmm." Dei said with a smirk as he downed his drink, waving the bartender over to refresh him. Itachi gave Dei a sweet kiss, before whispering something in Dei's ear that caused him to squirm and giggle. Sasuke watched the two shaking his head in amusement before taking another long sip of his drink.

"You two shouldn't be allowed in public." Sasuke said making Naruto chuckle into his hair.

"You're one to talk, you practically hump Ru anytime you see him. I'm surprise you're not attached to his hips right now… and you don't even care when there's people around. Just shameful, what would the other Uchiha's think." Dei said making Naruto chuckle even more against Sasuke hair.

"He has a point." Naruto said softly into Sasuke's ear his voice colored in laughter.

"Who's side are you on dobe?" Sasuke hissed back sending everyone into a fit of laughter.

"Blondie congratulations again." Naruto said giving Deidara's glass a celebratory clink.

"Yeah! We're so proud of our Dei." Sasuke said, his hand grabbing Deidara's encouragingly giving it a squeeze.

"Thanks guys. Take a look around, let me know what you think." He said with a cocky smirk as he continued to sip on his drink.

"We still on for later?"

"Of course Sas! We have to celebrate properly, which means be prepared to get drunk and shake your ass with me!" Dei said with a cheers his cup clinking with Sasuke's loudly making Sasuke groan, but it didn't hold much heat since his lips were in a wide smile.

"Gee, I can't wait." Sasuke said sarcastically

"Neither can I." Naruto said against Sasuke's ear causing the raven to shiver from the deep timbre of his voice and the feel of his breath on his ear.

"I would like to not see my little brother do… any of that." Itachi said his face as dead pan as ever causing Deidara to chuckle.

"Fine, fine! We won't dance… much… just a little hon." Deidara said with a giggle, his long bangs covering one eye making him look impish and mischievous. Itachi's dead pan face moved into a soft smile as he watched the love of his life's eyes dance.

"We're going to take a look around. Congratulations again Dei, you deserve it." Sasuke said as he let go of Naruto to hug his best friend and his brother, Deidara's heart warmed from the embrace. The two hugged, but before they leaned away Deidara whispered into Sasuke's ear.

"Maybe next time we will be at your grand opening or maybe your book signing." Deidara said causing Sasuke's face to widen in shock. He had never told anyone about his love for art or how he paints as a hobby or to release extra stress when his laptop couldn't do it. Sasuke leaned back looking into Dei's eyes with a mixture of shock and relief.

"Sas, you can't hide anything from me. I've known for a while now, and I promise… it's okay. I want you to do any and everything you want to do, anything you love to do. Even if it is making kick ass paintings for people to gawk at or if it's being a world renowned author, or fuck both! Because we both know that you, Sas, have talent, drive, and most importantly… you have support." Dei said giving Sasuke's hand a squeeze back.

"I'm not worried about you over shadowing me anyway, hmmm. I'm quite explosive in the art world, and no one has art like me." Dei said nonchalantly with a sip of his drink, causing Sasuke to laugh loudly shoving his shoulder playfully with a "fuck off".

Sasuke's thoughts whispered as he let out a deep sigh that he hadn't realized he had been holding for a long time. He felt so relieved, happy, and accepted as he grabbed Naruto's big hand making his way towards the start of the exhibit.

"Oh and Sas, remember don't go into the-"

"I know, I know! The black and red rooms are off limits to me." Sasuke said dismissively

"What's wrong with those rooms?" Naruto asked as he held his drink tightly, his hand giving Sasuke's an encouraging squeeze.

"Nothing's wrong with the rooms, they just may have sculptures or paintings of Itachi's body or dick in them. I'm not interested in seeing that." Sasuke said his voice filled with annoyance.

"What can I say Sas, your brother is a work of art." Deidara said with a shrug as he leaned back into Itachi's embrace.

"It must be an Uchiha trait then." Naruto said as he captured pale pink startled lips causing Dei to laugh loudly in agreement before capturing his own startled raven by the lips.

I'm sure we all can agree… Uchiha's are a living, breathing, works of art.

The day passed by quickly as the couple walked around the exhibit that was filled with bright colors and the occasional explosion that always surprised someone in the crowd. The exhibit was loud, fun, chaotic and a good time, just like Dei, which means that the showing was a huge hit.

Naruto and Sasuke at some point ran into Sasuke's parents and a few other Uchiha's, who all ranted and raved about the art and how they were so freaking proud of Dei, after all they were his family. Dei's parents didn't show, which really didn't surprise Sasuke in the slightest. Dei's parents have been in and out of his life since he came out, and their lack of appearance probably hurt Dei but also relieved him, due to him wanting the night to be fun, light, and a success.

Before they realized it, the show was over and they were back at Itachi's and Dei's apartment as they all had glasses of champagne filled almost to the brim, thanks to Dei's excellent pouring skills. Itachi cleared his throat, before standing right in front of the big window with the dark sky and the moon shinning brightly, beaming in.

"Dei… my love… I am so very proud of you, and every single accomplishment you have made leading up to this moment. I am extremely proud to call you mine. Keep making art that's explosive, and never stop being you. We love you-"

"Here here!" Sasuke said loudly before giggling with a salute.

"Cheers!" Itachi said softly, his eyes shining with love and devotion, as he lifted his glass in salute towards Deidara, who was wiping his eyes subtly with his sparkly black painted fingertips. He cleared his throat taking a sip of his champagne before his shining blue eyes met each person in the room.

"I am truly honored to be loved and supported by all of you." Dei said, his eyes landing on Naruto with a soft smile. Naruto, even though he was new, felt swept up in the room filled with love and emotion. He hugged his Sasuke closer, giving him a kiss in his raven colored hair, all while his eyes met Dei's beaming with pride of his own.

This all maybe still new, but they sure do feel like family to me.

After drinking their first glass of champagne in leisure, the group found themselves on the floor at the coffee table playing dominoes.

Because what goes better with champagne than a competitive rough as fuck game of dominoes? It's all so very classy.

Sasuke thought with a chuckle as Naruto slapped down a tile, making the table groan and Sasuke's chuckles grow louder.

"How could you be so happy, your man is kicking our asses?!" Dei said with a huff, as Naruto pulled the mini pile of bills to him with a snicker.

"Because if I pout real nice… Naruto will take all of this money and spend it on me." Sasuke said turning to Naruto giving his neck a nuzzle causing Itachi to groan once again.

"Stay strong Ru, us blonds have to stick together!" Dei said slapping the table causing Naruto to chuckle.

"Sorry Blondie, my Sas baby is so use to getting whatever he wants… I believe that is both of your faults? Plus how could I say no to that face." Naruto said cooing a bit as Sasuke made the cutest, innocent face he could muster causing the table to erupt in laughter. Naruto also made a face at Itachi and Dei sticking out his tongue mocking when he won once again, making Itachi let out an unenthusiastic "Hn" and Deidara to shake his head in mock disappointment. Itachi grabbed the dominoes preparing the shuffle for a new game when Deidara chugged his drink with a sigh before patting the table excitedly.

"Hey Sas, can you help me with this outfit I'm thinking of wearing at my engagement party?"

"Sure Dei." Sasuke said standing up quickly, wobbling a bit from sitting so long, before drinking down the rest of his drink and giving Naruto a peck on the lips. Sasuke licked his lips after the kiss, moaning against his Naru's lips from the taste, causing Dei to groan in impatience before dragging Sasuke off to Dei and Itachi's room.

The room was decked out in black and gold with tiny bits of red mixed in giving the room a bright, classic and luxurious feeling. Dei and Itachi's room was huge, black carpet, the comforter was gold with black symbols printed all over, the sheets were a pale white and there was a mess of pillows from sparkly gold to fuzzy red, making the already huge bed look slightly cluttered. The door closed loudly behind Sasuke making him jump slightly in surprise that he was no longer tonguing down his favorite blond. Dei turned on the music letting it fill the room loudly before turning to Sasuke with a raised brow.

"Have you been practicing?" Dei asked as he sat on the bed his eyebrow wiggling teasingly. Sasuke scoffed giving Dei a shove which caused them both to giggle.

"Yes Sensei." He replied begrudgingly

"Good. Did you bring it?"

"How would I bring it Dei? It's not like I'm carrying a bag." Sasuke said with a huff fishing out his phone. Deidara rolled his eyes scooting closer to Sasuke to look over his shoulder. Sasuke's scrolling fingers stopped on one image, his cheeks heated up as Deidara took in the image with a hum.

"So?" Sasuke asked hesitantly

"I think you would look good in this Sas!"

"I know right." Sasuke responded closing his phone to put it back into his pocket.

"Wait! You don't have a picture of you in it?"

"I do, but I'm not showing you."

"Why not Sas-"

"Because that will only be for his eyes. Not yours. Sorry, you're the wrong blond." Sasuke said with a huff as Deidara let out a loud laugh.

"Damn Sas, I'm just trying to be a good Sensei."

"… Well your work here is done. You've taught me. Now I just need to own it."

Deidara gave a hum as his pulled out two bottles of water from out of the mini fridge that they had by the bed. The two sat in comfortable silence as they drank half of the contents.

"He's going to love it Sas." Deidara said giving Sasuke a playful shoulder bump making Sasuke smile softly.

"I hope so… it's just so-" Sasuke was struggling to find the right word.

"Different."

"Yeah… just very different from anything I've ever done."

"I can't lie… I never thought in a million years that you would wear something like this… or want to learn this… it's very unlike you." Dei said with caution in his voice, but his smile shining bright with encouragement.

"I know… but it feels right. Naruto just makes me feel like… I'm … I don't know."

"Like a girl"

"No fucker!" Sasuke said loudly with a hiss, sending Deidara into a fit of laughter that soon Sasuke couldn't help but follow.

He really has become my bestfriend.

"I'm just joking Sas."

"I know… I guess what I'm trying to say is… we all have a masculine and a feminine side, no matter the gender… and for years I've only really embraced or tapped into my masculine side. With Naruto… he… I don't know… but loving him. Being with him… has taught me about embracing all of my sides… even the softer more vulnerable ones."

"Isn't it wonderful?"

"What?"

"Love."

The two giggled softly their hands locked as they gave each other an encouraging squeeze.

"Yeah… loves the bees knees." Sasuke said with a roll of his eyes sending Deidara laughing loudly over the music flowing in the room.

As the two raced off to Itachi and Deidara's room, Naruto turned back to see a smiling Itachi.

He looks so proud.

Taking a sip from his cup as he watched Itachi a little longer. The older raven was still smiling at the door and seemed to be completely in love and lost in thought.

"So… when is the big day?" Naruto asked smiling as he saw Itachi shake his head as if bring himself back to reality.

"Not soon enough for my liking." Itachi said making Naruto chuckle.

"It's on New Years eve leading into New Years day… in Vegas of all places. Leave it to my little firecracker to want to go out with a bang… literally." Itachi responded as he drank down the rest of his drink, he stood making his way to his fridge, offering Naruto a water which he accepted.

"So this time next year you will be a married man."

"Yes. I will be. You will be there right? I know you haven't known us long-"

"Of course I'll be there."

"Hn."

"You and Blondie are still coming-"

"To celebrate your birthday? Of course, and don't worry, I'll make sure to keep Dei preoccupied so him and Sasuke don't stay cooped up in the corner all night drinking and giggling."

"Sas… he will be meeting my family and friends for the first time."

"And that makes you nervous."

"A little, but it's more like I'm worried that Sasuke won't really vibe with my group of friends or my family. There's really no in between with them, they are either highly intelligent or complete party animals."

"I wouldn't worry about it. Sasuke will get along with everyone just fine. I know my little brother can be a bit dramatic and moody, but he loves you so he knows that everyone there will be super important to you. He'll make the effort."

"Believe it or not, I'm not worried about Sasuke. I'm more worried about my friends and family… how embarrassing the night could get, but over all I'm sure we'll have a good time."

"I'm sure if Dei is in a room, he will make sure everyone has a good time… refilling drinks."

"… passing out shots…"

"…picking music to dance to… to drive me insane." Itachi said as his left eye twitched causing Naruto to scoff loudly which made Itachi let out a small chuckle of his own.

"You're about to marry the life of the party."

"…and for someone who is a tad bit of a solitary recluse at times, he definitely will keep my life interesting."

"They both will." Naruto said drinking down the rest of his water with a smirk of his own, which made Itachi nod silently in agreement. Refreshing their liquor, Itachi poured them each a glass.

"To interesting" The older raven said with a smile that said, 'Welcome to the family.'

"To interesting" Naruto responded with a chuckle and a nod, his eyes shining bright from the interaction. The two raised their new full glasses in salute, before drinking it half way down with a wince and a chuckle. Naruto had learned his lesson from all the previous nights out with the couple, he had a car on speed dial to drive them home, so if he wanted to get drunk with his Sasuke baby, he could.

The sound of the door closing, ended a night of way too many drinks and even more rounds of laughter. Deidara, even though he was dog tired, gave a satisfied hum as he flopped on the bed, too tired to remove his clothes. Itachi walked in giving a soft chuckle at his love spread across the bed like a starfish with his eyes closed, one hand rubbing over his left eye.

"You look tired my love." Itachi said softly as he climbed over his tired blond with a sweet smile, giving him a kiss right below his eye. The gesture made Deidara giggle a bit, his eyes spring open.

"I am, but I'm never too tired for you." Deidara said as his arms wrapped around Itachi's neck pulling his fiancé close in an embrace. The two kissed softly, love bubbling between them sweetly as their lips moved in a familiar but hot dance. Itachi pulled back, his eyes radiating concern as one of his fingertips glided along his fiancé's jaw line down to his collarbone.

"How are you?" The raven simply asked, worry coloring his tone as his fingertip continued to glide up and down in a soothing rhythm. Deidara sighed loudly, his head falling back to the bed with a soft thump.

"Um… I don't know." He said his eyes going everywhere but to those onyx eyes. Itachi's finger tip stopped, pulling Deidara's face to meet his, making those sea blue eyes he love look into his own. Silence filled the room, and Itachi could feel Deidara under him begin to quiver and tremble from the intensity.

"Part of me is relieved they didn't show… that way I wouldn't be made to feel so… not normal or worthless. The other side… my younger self maybe… wishes that they cared, at least like they use to before I… came out." The blond said softly as Itachi gave him a sweet kiss to his forehead before pulling him in for a tighter embrace.

Itachi remembered it like it was yesterday. The day they both came out to their parents the responses from each pair of parents were the complete opposite. The Uchiha's embraced their sons, pulling both him and Deidara close, but the Kamiruzu's, they looked at Deidara and Itachi with such disgust, especially his blond's mom. Itachi had to calm Deidara that night, stopping him from trying to go back to them and take it all back so that he could receive their love again, but he knew that they would never see him the same way again.

"I'm proud of you Dei. Sasuke, Naruto, All of the Uchiha's, we are all so very proud of you. We love you."

"I know. I'm so grateful for their love, their support… I just wish I had… their love and support too."

"I know."

"They loved me once."

"I love you now, and forever. I've always loved you. I will always love you." Itachi said pulling Deidara close tears mixing with their lips as they poured all of their disappointment and frustration into their lips and tongue. Deidara let out a sad moan, as they continued to embrace each other heatedly, Itachi's fingers brushing away stray tears as he held his love close. Their lips separated but they were still close, breathing the same air, their pants mixing together in their close bubble.

"Do you regret it?" Itachi asked softly against heated lips. His own tears dropping down, mixing with Deidara's.

"Never. I could never regret finding a love like this… with you, Itachi. You own my heart." Deidara said fiercely his blue eyes seeming to glow as he spoke.

"You own mine too." Itachi said softly, his lips tasting Deidara's once again until they could no longer breathe. Panting their eyes connected, shining with love, pain, understanding… so much devotion and gratitude.

"Make love to me." Deidara whispered against his lover's lips with a sigh. Itachi looked down, searching blue eyes as he continues to caress blond hair.

"I love you." Itachi said softly his onyx eyes holding blue making Deidara's eyes cloud once again but for a different reason.

"I love you too." He said with reverence as lips captured his once again, their hands gliding along each other's bodies, moving, grabbing. Sighs and moans filled the room as clothes were discarded, hot mouths traveling all over and eyes never losing focus on what was important. Even though their bodies moved and danced, their eyes and their mouths said the words over and over again.

I love you.

"I love you."

A/N: I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER... I REALLY ENJOYED SWITCHING IT UP AND GETTING INTO DEIDARA AND ITACHI'S RELATIONSHIP... BUT LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT THAT.

This story will be coming to a close in about 5ish chapters... I know this is a bit premature but I just want to say... thank you for rocking with me.
