My eyes opened from the sun shining on me. I looked over at Bucky sitting up peacefully reading a book to The Dog.

"Good morning," I peacefully signed.

He kissed my head and I sat up too. My knees curled up to my chest as my brain finished loading. I slipped my glasses on and looked at my tattoo on my right knee, there it is! Good morning tattoo. I put my legs down and covered it because some times it makes Bucky upset.

"Birthday breakfast?" I signed as I stood up.

"No Tony has a guest. Wait."

I put my hearing aids in and could now fully hear the argument happening in the kitchen.

"I can't believe you're just throwing out your money to some - some broad!" A voice yelled.

"I'm not throwing out money!" Tony argued. "And what's it matter this is my money from my company!"

"No this is our company!" The yelling continued.

"Yeah they're fighting too," Bucky said.

"Should I go check on him?"

Bucky shrugged, "I'm reading Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, I really don't care what you do right now."

Damn. Can't blame him.

I snuck out to poke my head at the yelling only wearing my boxers and one of Tony's band T-shirt's.

The two were yelling about me and Bucky but without the knowledge of who we actually were. "I'm not gonna let all of our hard work get thrown away on some dame!" I poked my head out from behind the corner enough to see, I was hidden behind a book case full of awards. This will be fine, just don't break it and don't get caught.

"Who's name is on the side of this building? Who's name is on every American bomb?"

"I'm not ignoring the fact that this is your work! You're the one ignoring all you've done for yourself and throwing it at some deaf chick!"

Hey! I may be deaf but I'm not just some chick!

I'd heard enough and decided to try and sneak back to the room. But when I turned around Bucky was right behind me. Obviously scared I screamed and jumped back but then proceeded to break that real nice book case full of real nice awards. Glass shelving shattered along with many of the awards, filling the room with nothing but loud.

It was at this moment that Detective Tony and Agent his guest had spotted us.

"How are you going to sneak up on the deaf guy?"

The silence was dense. I felt like I could choke on this air right now. Everyone was still and not making eye contact with anything other than the broken awards.

"Well hi, I'm Bucky," he introduced himself to the guest. "This is Steve." He waved, "We'd walk over to shake your hand but there's glass on the floor." The guest didn't seem to like us.

The guest grabbed his brief case and signed "How would your father feel about this?" And like that he left.

I hate this.

Tony turned away and sat in his emotions for maybe a second. A second, at most. "Did you two pack for France like I asked?"

"Tony I'm so sorry!" My knee jerk reaction was to run to him but I can't move with all this glass on the ground.

"I want to get going pretty soon." He walked over (wearing shoes) to us. "My private jet doesn't wait for just anyone."

"Tony!" I tried to grab him but I couldn't move without stepping on glass.

Bucky walked towards him with no regard of the glass and grabbed his hand. "Hey." Bucky looked Tony in his eyes. They are the same height so the eye contact was near impossible to escape. "Tony we get it." Bucky was trying as hard as he could to stay in his shell.

"Jarvis clean this up please," he brushed off the conversation with a kiss on Bucky's hand. "I want to get going soon so if we could get our bags ready..."
