A/N *Walks into room, nervously* Hi... So I started university and chemistry is still a bitch. Please enjoy this chapter and I will try and update again before the month is out but we'll see what happens.

Astrid was watching as Hiccup was flying like a drunk Viking trying to tame a Skrill. Their flight pattern was so erratic Astrid had no idea what move they would pull next and the Rockfin looked pretty angry. But Hiccup was leading the dragon towards them, that was a start.

Armin looked over at the dragons coming their way, That can't be an efficient flight pattern, he thought. They had a plan, but they had no idea if it was going to work.

Hiccup flew over the wall and the scouts, as expected the Rockfin changed to a downward flight pattern towards the water. Before it could get into a full blown nose dive Tuffnut set off the gas that had built up and the massive explosion launched the Rockfin upwards.

The Scouts shuttered at the sound of the explosion, it shook the ground more than a horde of titans running. Then they saw the Rockfin appear above the wall. For Eren, Armin, and Mikasa the whole event brought back unwanted memories.

Just as the massive dragon appeared over the wall three dragon riders flew behind it to force it over the wall.

"Fire!" Astrid shouted.

The three dragons fired at the Rockfin just pushing it over the wall, but it was still flying. It wasn't going down without a fight.

The Rockfin was starting to adjust itself so it wouldn't be pushed below the wall, and the dragon fire wasn't doing much.

"Guys, it's not working!" Fishlegs said.

"Keep on going!" Astrid shouted.

That's when they heard a whistling sound.

"What is that?" Jean asked, searching for the source.

The sound changed to what could only be described as something building up, like the lightning of a shifter powering up before they transform. They heard a big boom and a blue shock wave come off of the Rockfin just before they saw the source.

"That's Hiccup?" Armin said, as Toothless and Hiccup flew over them, picking up the breeze.

But that shot was from such an angle that the Rockfin fell beneath the tip of the wall.

"Alright, Scouts," Hange shouted, "It's our turn!"

Hange clicked their ODM gear and hooked into the underbelly of the dragon. As soon as the rest of the Scouts saw that they could hook into the dragon they followed suit.

Hange was the first one to get onto the dragon, and they went straight for one of its many eyes.

"You're such a beautiful creature!" They shouted as they readied their sword, "Too bad you're attacking people who don't like to be eaten!"

Hange stabbed one of the Rockfins eyes out and the beast roared in pain. It violently shook its head, so much so that Hange re-hooked themselves into the beast's skull to not get thrown off.

The thrashing of the beast delayed Eren and Armin but it allowed for Levi and Mikasa to get to the wings without consequence. Wings were unlike anything they had ever dealt with.

"You take the left wing, I've got the right one," Levi said. Mikasa only nodded in response.

Levi waited until the wing was at the peak of its pattern, then he shot his hook as far out as he could, changed the grip of his gear in his right hand, and launched into his spinning move. Levi sliced up the entire panel of the first wing, but he was stopped at the bone.

The beast let out another mighty roar as it began to fall.

The dragon riders had reconvened in formation and were now circling the dragon.

"That's one big dragon," Tuffnut said.

"Yeah. I wonder how much it needs to eat," Ruffnut replied.

"Let's not find out," Hiccup said, "Alright, Astrid, Snotlout, you two circle the dragon from below and try to find any weak spots to target. Ruff, Tuff, keep the Rockfin focused on you two."

"How are we supposed to do that?"

"Make it mad."

"We can totally do that!"

"Fishlegs, monitor the dragon and see if anything changes, I have a weird feeling about this dragon."

"Yeah, me too."

"Let's do this!"

Jean, Sasha, and Connie were not having much luck with the underbelly of the dragon.

"Find anything?" Jean called.

"I don't even know what I'm looking for!" Connie shouted back.

They had been circling the area at the base of the throat but everything was just a smooth, scaly surface.

"Wait!" Sasha said, "Never mind, it's just another lump of scales."

"Need some help down here?" Astrid called, flying over on Stormfly.

"We have no idea what we're looking for," Jean said.

"A big lump, duh," Snotlout said, flying in from the other side.

"Snotlout, can you fly down the rest of the dragon," Astrid said.

"Why don't you do it?"

"Wouldn't you want the glory for finding something before Hiccup does?"

"That does sound pretty good. See ya!" Snotlout said, as he and Hookfang started flying down the underside of the dragon.

"Why did you do that?" Sasha asked.

"He's too loud."

"What's that got to do with anything?" Connie asked.

"You have to listen for the twins."

The four of them were silent for a moment, waiting.

"Ready, Eren," Hange asked, leveling their sword with another of the dragon's eyes.

"Ready," Eren replied, also leveling his sword.

They locked eye contact; "Now!" Hange said and they both plunged a sword into two of the dragon's eyes. The dragon roared again, but didn't shake its head as much. Armin was able to come up beside Eren.

"I couldn't find its ears, commander."

Before Hange could reply the twins flew in on their Zippleback.

"Is that all you got, dragon!"

"You're uglier than a Yak with its face smashed in."

"Even Gobber smells better than your breath!"

"Nice one, sis!"

Armin watched as the one remaining eye narrowed.

"That doesn't look good."

Astrid and the Scout trio heard the insults.

"Any second now, watch for a lump!"

They all spread out as the dragon began to gurgle.

"There!" Jean said, as he swung over to a lump forming, and slashed it. The dragon skin was a lot thicker than a titans skin was, his blades didn't cut all the way through and broke. Connie swung through it, making the cut deeper, but his aim was off and he didn't get all the way through, breaking his blades as well. Sasha came through slicing perpendicular to the boy's cuts and almost made it through, then her blades snapped too.

The dragon made a different noise and a few of the people near the head of the dragon were shouting. The Rockfin had just spewed boiling water at the twins, who were able to dodge for the most part but the twin tails of the Zippleback were hit.

"We're going down!" Tuff shouted as they spiraled downwards.

Hange, Eren, and Armin were not expecting the head to get so hot from the steam and had to retreat away from the eyes.

The Rockfin wasn't as steady now, Jean, Connie, and Sasha couldn't get a clear path to slice through the cut again.

"Stay clear!" Astrid shouted at them, "Stormfly, tail whip!"

Stormfly clacked in agreement then flung her tail towards the cut, launching spins towards it. Three of them managed to embed themselves within the cut and it started leaking water.

"Good girl!" Astrid said, flying over, "Help me get them out."

"Are they poisonous?" Jean asked, swinging over.

"No, but they're in pretty deep."

The spines were embedded so deep that they barely stuck out of the dragon's skin.

"I've got an idea," Jean said. He swung over and managed to get his hook into one of the spines and used his swinging momentum to wriggle it free. He had to swing by a few times before it finally came out, along with a flow of water.

"We definitely hit it," Jean said, hanging on a weird angle, trying to get his hook out of the spine.

Sasha and Connie tried to hook themselves onto the spines, but the spines got stuck in at a weird angle so they resorted to pulling them out by hand.

Levi and Mikasa were now making quick work of the wings, having found the joints. And the dragon was now plummeting. Mikasa had found her way to the tip of the wing but her cables weren't long enough to reach the dragon, and there wasn't much to hang onto. The Rockfin began rapidly flapping its wings, trying everything to stay airborne, and launched Mikasa off of itself. She desperately tried to turn around and hook into the dragon but her cables weren't long enough to reach the dragon. She just hoped that she was close enough to the ground that she would survive the fall. She closed her eyes, preparing for the worst.

Then she stopped.

I couldn't have hit the ground yet, she thought. She felt herself going up and opened her eyes.

"Well hello there, beautiful. Did expect to see such a fine lady here," Snotlout said, turning around to face her.

"Thanks."

"You're welco- I mean don't mention it. Maybe we can get some food afterwards and hang out. I could tell you some of my greatest adventures. What do you say?"

Mikasa rolled her eyes and jumped back onto the Rockfin.

"I'll take that as a yes then!"

Hange had made their way back onto the head of the Rockfin and did like what they saw. They took out one of their blades and caught the light of the sun, getting Fishlegs attention.

"Commander," Armin said, gesturing to the stabbed out eyes, "Is that what I think it is?"

"I think so."

Fishlegs came down towards Hange, "What's the problem?"

"We figured out why your dragon doesn't have any wounds from your last fight. Can I talk with Hiccup?"

"Sure, hop on."

"Can these two come?"

"Meatlug can only carry three."

"Eren, report to Levi. Armin with me."

Hange and Armin climbed onto Meatlug, Armin was shaking the whole time. Meatlug was a smaller dragon, there wasn't much to hold onto. It didn't help that the Rockfin was falling.

Hiccup went to go check on the twins, they had had an ungraceful landing.

"You two alright?"

"Yeah," Ruffnut said, "But Barf and Belch were hit."

"Yeah, their tails are all red and burnt."

"Here," Hiccup said, rummaging through his saddle bag and tossing them a jar, "Put this on their tails and stay out of the line of fire."

"Got it!"

Hiccup looked back towards the Rockfin, it was really falling now. He noticed Fishlegs letting two of the scouts onto his dragon, but they were struggling.

The Rockfin let out a pained roar and started to plummet. Levi and Mikasa had joined together on one wing and really started to shred it.

Armin slipped with the sudden jolt and lost his grasp on Meatlug and fell.

"Armin!" Hange shouted from the back of Meatlug. Fishlegs had a look of terror on his face, Meatlug wasn't fast enough to save him, especially with Hange riding with him.

"We have to get out of here!" Astrid shouted.

"Right behind you!" Connie shouted.

"Can you make it, Jean?" Sasha asked.

"No, this spine is really stuck on here. I'm stuck."

"I'll give you a lift, hop on!"

The four of them raced to get into the open air, the ground was closing in fast. Connie and Sasha, having to take big swings, were slowly falling behind Stormfly.

"We're not going to make it!" Connie shouted, as he almost brushed the ground with his last swing.

"Just swing!" Sasha shouted. She took one big swing and let her momentum take her. Connie followed in her footsteps, he would have been crushed by the dragon otherwise.

Their only problem was the landing, they didn't think their Swing of Hope plan all the way through.

Astrid was able to catch Sasha with Stormfly's feet but couldn't grab Connie. He hit the ground and rolled a few meters before coming to a halt.

"Connie!" Sasha shouted, jumping out of Stormfly's grasp.

"I'm okay. I think."

Sasha ran over to him and helped him to his feet, he definitely had a few cuts and bruises were forming.

"Is he okay?" Astrid asked, hovering above on Stormfly with Jean doing his best to not fall off without grabbing onto Astrid.

"Yeah," Sasha said, pulling Connie to his feet, "He needs to sit the rest of this one out."

Hiccup was watching Connie get up from his fall with Toothless holding Armin with his legs.

"Toothless is going to throw you onto his back," Hiccup shouted at Armin.

"What!?"

"Are you sure that's a good-" Hange said, but was cut off by Toothless flinging Armin over Hiccup and landing behind him.

"You okay?"

Armin was shaking a bit, "I'm fine. I think."

"What did you learn about the Rockfin?" Fishlegs asked Hange.

"Well, it has a rapid healing factor. Rapid enough that one of the eyes we first stabbed out is almost healed."

"Really? H-how can you be sure?" Hiccup asked.

"We used to have creatures here that had rapid healing factors. We called them titans."

"Could that be what the twins were going on about earlier?" Fishlegs asked.

"Probably. There is one more thing important to note," Hange said, "Titans main and only prey were humans."
