Izuku and Kyouka were standing in front of the gates of Yaoyorozu's home and were waiting for everyone else to arrive. In the meantime, Kyouka gave her hero questionable stares about a particular fashion choice he made today.

"So, Izuku…?"

"Yeah, Kyouka?" Izuku adjusted his glasses, two of his fingers resting on the bridge of the glasses.

"You're wearing glasses."

"That I am."

"You don't wear glasses. You can harm your eyesight like that, you know." Kyouka lightly scolded before starting to reach for his glasses to take them off. She wasn't going to have him risk his eyesight for some dumb reason.

Izuku took a step back to avoid her reach and waved his hands in front of himself defensively. "Don't worry, they're fake."

Kyouka stopped her arm, letting it drop at her side. "Okay, then… Why are you wearing fake glasses?"

Izuku adjusted his glasses again, giving a small smirk. "Well, I feel like I might be able to perform better as a co-tutor if I wear these."

"…How?"

"It's common knowledge that anyone with glasses is perceived as intelligent, right? So, if I wear these then everyone might think I'm smarter than I actually am."

"Do you… Do you not think you're that smart?" Kyouka asked, one of her eyes slightly twitching as she was ready to start giving him a scolding on just how smart he is.

"Don't worry, I have enough confidence in my intelligence." Izuku affirmed, unknowingly putting a stop to his best friend's eye twitch. "But I think these will boost their confidence in my abilities as a tutor and potentially pay more attention. It's simple psychology."

"Izuku, they're our classmates, not some kids who'll believe something like that. They know you don't wear glasses and it'll be pretty hard to convince them that you've been wearing contacts this whole time. They're not going to simply think you're more intelligent because of some fake glasses. They know how intelligent you already are so there's no need to try to sell it."

As much as Kyouka wanted to judge him some more, she couldn't help but check him out a bit in those glasses. 'Shit, he does look pretty cute in those though… He can sure pull off a nice pair of glasses. How would he look with some black frames or maybe tinted glasses…? Wonder if we'd look cute together if I had a fake pair myself…'

Kyouka's fantasy turned into some kind of fashion show with her and Izuku standing side by side on a catwalk, wearing all kinds of matching glasses.

However, before her fantasy could continue to include them wearing different kinds of matching outfits, she heard a bus stop right by the two friends. She turned towards the bus, seeing Kaminari, Mina, Ojiro, Toru, and Sero exiting the vehicle.

"Man, does all of this land belong to Yaoyorozu's family?" Kaminari asked as he looked around the area before seeing Izuku and dashing towards him, wrapping his arm around the other boy's shoulder. "Whoa, smarty pants, nice glasses!"

Sero nodded and gave Izuku a fist bump. "Yeah, dude! My faith in your tutoring skills just went up tenfold!"

"Really? Can't say the glasses change anything for me. I had full faith in Midoriya's skills as a tutor." Ojiro commented without anybody hearing him.

Izuku glanced at Kyouka and flashed a smirk at her for an instant, making the girl internally facepalm. 'Never mind, they are children who can fall for anything… I don't know if I should feel proud of Izuku for being right or ashamed of my classmates for allowing him to be right about this.'

Mina went over to Kyouka before whispering in her ear. "Yo, is it me or does Midoriya look super crazy smart right now? Like Albert Newton or Isaac Einstein kind of smart."

"Gotta switch up the last names, Ashido…" Kyouka sighed, lowering her head and mumbling to herself. "They all really need the tutoring… But even then, I don't know if it'll be enough."

Toru walked up to Izuku and pulled out her phone before the text-to-speech on it started to talk. "Very smart looking."

"Something the matter, Hagakure? Can you not talk right now?" Izuku asked, adjusting his glasses on pure instinct at this point.

"Oh, you don't know? Hm, guess you wouldn't since you two aren't close friends and don't talk much or anything." Ojiro said before pointing at the invisible girl. "You remember that Hagakure was out sick last week, right?" This got a nod from Izuku. "Well, she got a really bad throat infection, and it apparently hurts like crazy if she talks. Her doctor said she'll be alright in a couple days or so, so for these next few study sessions, she'll be communicating with us by text-to-speech or by text."

"Ah, that makes sense." Izuku adjusted his glasses again before smiling at Toru. "I hope this won't deter you from asking any questions you might have. It won't, right?"

Toru shook her head, which was visible due to her wearing a yellow sun hat.

"So…is anyone going to bring up how freaking loaded Yaoyorozu is?" Kaminari asked with a gulp, pointing at the massive gate in front of them, which led to a whole road. They couldn't even see her house with how much forestry was covering it. "Cause holy crap, with this land she could own her own school."

Kyouka looked at all the land beyond the gate and blinked. "Huh… You're right. Guess I got distracted by Izuku's glasses."

"That's enough to distract you?" Ojiro asked, giving a deadpan look at Kyouka.

Kyouka cleared her throat, choosing to ignore Ojiro's question, and made her way to the intercom. "Anyways, we should probably get going."

She pressed the button on the intercom, but within a second, Momo's voice came out of the speaker. "Oh, I've been expecting you all! Come in this instant, if you please!"

The gate in front opened up and everyone looked in awe as they started to walk down the road. They soon entered this giant mansion, finding themselves in a large room with a long table that stretched across more than half of the room.

"Unreal…"

"I know, right? It's like something you'd see out of a princess movie."

"Do you think Yaomomo is secretly royalty?"

"Maybe her family is the lead of the Yakuza."

"That'd be cool."

"I feel like I should be wearing something formal."

Momo was waiting for them right there and was about to greet everyone until she took notice of Izuku's glasses and smiled before sprinting to him. "Midoriya, you should've informed me that you would be wearing glasses! I would've worn a matching pair!"

"Huh?" Before Izuku could ask any questions, Momo pulled out a pair of glasses of her own and put them on with confidence, causing the boy to smile brightly. "Were you and I thinking the same thing?!"

"Indeed! With these glasses, our tutoring skills will be unmatched!" Momo exclaimed before she and Izuku gave each other an epic handshake, blowing a gust of wind that was felt throughout the room.

"Looking forward to being your co-tutor, Yaoyorozu!"

After releasing each other from the handshake, the two nerds started to repeatedly adjust their glasses with a smirk on their faces as the glasses shone a bright white light with each adjustment.

"Hmph."

"Hm."

"Hmph."

"Hm."

Kyouka sweatdropped at this exchange between her two friends, her eyes squinting from how bright their glasses were shining. 'How do I even respond to this?'

"Mhmm"

"Hm?"

"Hmph. Hmph. Hm."

"Hmmmmm."

Two earphone jacks arrived and scooped up both of the glasses off of their faces before delivering them to Kyouka's hands.

"I think you two need to take these off… Your brains are going to rot from nerdom." Kyouka stated, but she immediately felt guilty for killing the mood.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the two seemed unfazed by this action before they both reached for their back pockets, pulling out another pair of fake glasses and putting them on.

"Come on, Kyouka, what's the harm in it?" Izuku asked with a sheepish smile, adjusting his glasses again. "I see these glasses as a positive learning tool."

"I agree. Additionally, it'll be quite fun to be wearing glasses while tutoring." Momo stated, adjusting her glasses as well.

"Please?"

Kyouka's hands shook as she saw how much Izuku wanted this and she couldn't resist his pleading for too long. "F-Fine, but you're only wearing these for fun. Not to sell your intelligence, okay? Also, can you two cool it a little with the adjustments? I don't want to only rely on my hearing for the rest of my life."

"You got it."

"As you wish."

"But one more for the road."

The two nerds did one more adjustment of their glasses, ready to tutor everyone here to the best of their abilities.

It had been a couple of hours since their study session began and now everyone was on a break. Kyouka and Ojiro had left the room to grab some food from the kitchen to bring back for everyone else.

Izuku put down his textbook before clearing his throat and looking at Momo. "Yaoyorozu?"

"Yes, Midoriya?"

"If it's not rude to ask, where's your bathroom?"

"Oh, just take the exit ahead, go up the stairs, take a left, two rights, four lefts, a right, go up another flight of stairs, then a left, three more rights, two lefts, then go down the stairs. There, you'll find the private bathroom."

"You have bathrooms that aren't private?" Sero asked, wondering how many bathrooms are in this mansion.

"The bathrooms we usually use are currently being renovated at the moment, so these are the only ones available that give ample privacy. As to the ones that aren't private… I wish not to speak on the matter…"

Izuku stood up, scratching the side of his head. "I hope I can remember all of that… If I get lost, I'll give you a call."

"Hold up, I need to go too." Mina stated, standing up as well. "All of that tea made me really wanna pee."

Momo sweatdropped. "I don't believe it was necessary of you to share that, Ashido… But yes, you can go as well. I don't think you need my permission."

"Sweet rhyme though." Kaminari high-fived the pink girl.

Izuku took off his glasses and set them on the table, cupping his chin up to recall the directions. "So it's the exit right ahead, up the stairs, go to the left, take two-"

"Aw, don't sweat it, Midoriya!" Mina gave his back a push towards the exit. "I'll lead the way to the bathroom and handle directions. You give that brain of yours a break. You deserve it after having to deal with all of us."

"U-Um, are you sure?" Izuku asked, still being pushed towards the exit. "It's really no trouble to remember these directions."

"Trust me. It'll be fine." Mina then grabbed a cloth from the table and wrapped it around the boy's eyes. "In fact, you give your eyes a rest too!"

Izuku nervously looked around as he was now blind and being pushed around. "Th-This isn't necessary…"

"It totally is! Now let's go!"

A minute later, Kyouka and Ojiro entered the room, plates of food in their hands.

"Sorry we took a little while. We couldn't find the cart to carry the food so we decided to take it by han-" Before she could finish her sentence, the girl felt something off about the room and started to look around, the utensils being held by her earphone jacks moving with her head and heading towards Ojiro. "Hey. Where's Izuku?"

"Seems that Ashido's gone too." Ojiro casually ducked before putting down his plates.

"Yeah. Ashido left with Midoriya earlier. She had him blindfolded and everything. You just missed them." Kaminari informed them, grabbing a sandwich from one of the plates and taking a bite as he smiled blissfully. "So good…"

Kyouka's eye twitched, her grip tightening on the plates, which Ojiro quickly took from her before she could damage the very expensive-looking plates. "Blindfolded? Ashido took Izuku away while he was blindfolded?"

"Ooh, you think they might be up to something in this big place? Blindfolds always lead to anything scandalous." Sero joked with a snicker, but all sounds from him came to a stop as a knife was thrown at him, sticking into the chair and right next to his head, cutting off a few strands of his hair.

He looked to see Kyouka with an earphone jack full of knives and a feeling of killing intent directed towards him until Momo stood up, placing her hand on the deadly girl's shoulders. "They only went to the bathroom together. They should be back in only a few minutes." She started to lead Kyouka to her seat. "There is no need to worry. Let us sit down and enjoy our food."

Kyouka slowly put down the utensils from her earphone jacks, keeping her eyes on Sero in case he makes any more comments "Okay… Bathroom… Got it…"

Kaminari had already finished his sandwich and leaned over to Sero, whispering as he reached to steal the other boy's sandwich. "Dude, one of these days she's gonna seriously kill you. You have been on her shit list since day one."

Sero carefully removed the knife from the chair. "Sh-She wouldn't actually kill me, right? Right…?" He sighed as he carefully removed the knife from the chair before slapping Kaminari's hand away from his sandwich. "Hands off my food. I'm not letting a near-death experience get rid of my hunger."

It had been 10 minutes now and everyone finished their plates, but there were two empty seats with two full plates of food in front. Kyouka was impatiently tapping her foot on the floor, Momo was going through the study material, planning out what she and Izuku will focus on next, and everyone else was looking at their phones.

"They're not back yet… This feels like more than a few minutes…" Kyouka grumbled out, her tapping increasing in speed.

She was uncomfortable with Izuku and Mina being alone in this mansion, and it made things worse to know that her hero was blindfolded when they left. She could almost tear this whole mansion apart just to find them and make sure they weren't doing anything.

Did she trust Izuku? Absolutely. But Mina? Not much. Mina has always seemed like the type who wants to have fun and do anything for a good thrill. Granted, she's not close friends with the pink girl or anything, but it's just a vibe she's getting. It's very likely that she's being paranoid about this, but being gone for 15 minutes for the bathroom is the kind of excuse she'd find in a bad teen rom-com.

Maybe she should go to the bathroom herself to find them. But dammit, she already went while Momo and Izuku were going over English since she was well-versed enough on the subject. If she went again, that would only solidify the rumors of her having an overactive bladder. And right after she got them shut down too. She could threaten everyone in the room to not spread any rumors, but if they were spread it's not like she would be able to know exactly who did it.

But would it be worth it? Maybe having rumors about her start up again is necessary if it means Izuku's protection from Mina's claws.

Kyouka racked her brain for a solution, but before she could come up with anything, Momo spoke to her. "Jirou, as we wait for Midoriya and Ashido, may you come with me to my room?"

It took a few moments for the question to process in Kyouka's mind before she looked at Momo, raising an eyebrow. "Hm? Your room? A-Are you sure you want me to go? I was thinking that I could-"

Momo nodded, smiling at Kyouka. "Yes, I am sure. I would be very grateful if you accompanied me."

"Uhh…" Kyouka looked between Momo and the doorway, hoping for Izuku to come in any second now before she lowered her head. "Okay… I'll come."

Both girls stood up and Momo looked back at everyone else. "Do any of you want anything before we take our leave?"

Kaminari raised his hand high. "Ooh, can I ask for another round of sandwiches?"

"Of course. I'll ask the butler to bring them right over to you."

"How messy are we allowed to be?" Kaminari asked, raising his hand. "Will we get charged if we stain the table sheets? I'm trying to save up enough money to buy some cool new clothes."

Momo shook her head, smiling. "No, you won't get charged. But I would very much appreciate it if you ate as cleanly as possible."

"No need to worry. Ojiro and I will make sure he's as clean as a button." Sero stated, giving her a thumbs up.

"I don't need to be babysat, you know." Kaminari pouted as he played with Ojiro's tail.

Ojiro raised up his tail and saw Kaminari reach for it, letting out a small chuckle. "Well, it's easy enough to get your attention so it'll be any easy babysitting job."

Sero laughed at Kaminari as Kyouka and Momo made their leave, Momo being 90%…make that 85% sure that the kitchen will be left as it was by the time she returns.

Toru stood up, putting down her hat and showed Ojiro her phone, saying that she was going to explore the mansion and have an adventure.

"W-Wait, shouldn't you ask Yaoyorozu to come with so you don't get lo-" Toru had already left the room, too eager to explore. "Aaaaand she's gone. Hope she'll be alright."

"As long as she doesn't find the secret cult room where all the rituals are performed, she'll be good." Kaminari leaned back in his chair.

Sero pipped in. "Or the hidden dungeon where the Yaoyorozus hoard their tons of treasure that could fund a whole nation."

Ojiro sighed with a smile as he went back on his phone to keep himself distracted. "Wonder if she'll run into Midoriya and Ashido… Nah, this place is ginormous. It'd be like finding a needle in a haystack."

Izuku and Mina were on the way to the bathroom and so far they had gone up the stairs, taken two lefts, a right, a left, four rights, went up the other flight of stairs, then three lefts, two rights, and a left. Now all they had to do was go down the stairs.

"Hey, Ashido. Are you sure we're going the right way?" Izuku asked, still blindfolded after all this time.

"Midoriya, I've told you a million times already that we're totally following Yaomomo's directions to a T." Mina tried to reassure him, which had absolutely no effect like the last dozen or so times she tried.

Izuku had tried to remove his blindfold multiple times, but every time he did, Mina would either lightly slap his hand away or guilt him into trusting her by asking if he truly believes that she's horrible with directions.

But since their second left, he has had an uneasy feeling in his gut. And the feeling has only gotten stronger the more turns they made. Even though he couldn't see, he just had this sense that something wasn't right.

He also noticed the decrease in light from his blindfold and the air in here felt a little stuffy too compared to the cool air in the rest of the house, so they were definitely in a different part of the house. 'She didn't take me to some dungeon, right?'

He couldn't help it anymore and quickly removed the blindfold before Mina could react as the girl pouted at him. "Aw, you weren't supposed to do that!"

"I'm sorry, but I had to make sure where we-Where are we?" Izuku asked as he checked out his surroundings. "We're still in the mansion, right?"

They were in this dimly lit hallway that looked like it's been around for centuries. The walls were made out of bricks, there were lanterns hanging from the ceiling instead of the regular ceiling lamps, and there was pure silence in the hallway, the only sound being their footsteps. If you looked at the end of the hallway, it was mostly darkness.

"Yeah, we're still in the mansion. Man, you really have no trust in me, do you, Midoriya? Shame on you." Mina scolded, poking his forehead.

"Ow. I said I was sorry." Izuku rubbed his forehead. "But seriously, where are we…?"

The pink girl shrugged her shoulders. "Dunno. I followed the directions we were given and we ended up here. But I don't remember a long hallway being mentioned. Maybe the bathroom is at the end of it."

"I highly doubt that…" Izuku sweatdropped.

"Eh, who cares? We'll find out eventually. Let's go!" Mina pointed forward.

Izuku sighed, going along with her. 'It's not like there's much I can do… Worst case scenario, I can call Yaoyorozu and ask her about our location. It's not like I have to use the bathroom this instant.'

After a few minutes, they passed by this armor set and Mina stopped to point at it. "Ooh, you know I passed by an armor set like this earlier. I could totally pull it off. What do you think, Midoriya?"

Izuku let out a chuckle, imagining Mina wearing that armor. "It would be an interesting look for you, that's for sure."

"Yo, maybe I should try the helmet o-" Out of nowhere, the lanterns flickered like crazy and Mina screamed in fear before grabbing tightly onto Izuku's arm. "What is that?!"

"H-Hey, Ashido!" Izuku had a light blush on his face from the sudden action. He didn't try to pull his arm away, knowing it could freak her out more. "What caused that flickering?"

'Are those lanterns electric?!' Izuku thought to himself, not understanding how lanterns would flicker like that.

"I don't know, but I don't like it!" Mina exclaimed, holding on tighter until she suddenly felt this dread throughout her entire body. It felt as if a demon's presence was right with her and holding onto her body.

'What the?! Who is that?!' Mina looked around and lost grip of Izuku's arm, causing the feeling to go away. She then grabbed his arm again and the feeling came right back.

"What do I do?! Holding onto you should bring me more comfort from being in a dark, creepy place, but I somehow feel even more scared when I do! Like there's a demon right behind me!" Mina screamed out, repeatedly letting go and grabbing onto Izuku's arm in 10-second intervals.

"Wh-What are you talking about?!" Izuku asked, trying to at least move his arm in a comfortable position, but Mina had a vice grip on it whenever she grabbed it.

'Let go or hold on? Let go or hold on?! WHAT DO I DO?!' Mina internally screamed in her head as the dreading feeling came and went.

Before she could come to a decision, metallic footsteps were heard coming toward them. "Huh? What is that?"

Mina let go of Izuku's arm and the boy rubbed his arm, feeling a little sore from her grip as he looked at the end of the dim hallway. "I can't tell… If I were to guess, it sounds like someone wearing armor."

"H-Hey, Midoriya… Remember how I passed by this other armor set earlier?" Mina asked, her body starting to shake.

"We did. Why are you ask-Wait, you don't mean what I think you mean, right? That's impossible." Izuku felt himself starting to feel a little nervous.

"A-Are you telling me you didn't believe in that kind of stuff?"

"I believe in some of that stuff for fun, but I don't think it could ever hap-" Izuku was cut off by the footsteps getting much louder than they were before.

Both teens were facing the end of the hall, and a suit of armor without a head emerged from the darkness as it walked toward them.

"M-M-M-Midoriya?! D-Do you believe now?! That's a g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g…" Mina put her hands on her cheeks before letting out a blood-curdling scream. "GHOST!"

"I-I think you're right, Ashido! Let's get out of here!" Izuku screamed out as well before they both started running for their lives in the opposite direction.

With how panicked they were, the two forgot to use their quirks to increase their speed, meaning that they really wouldn't get all that far. The suit of armor noticed this and was confused by its actions before shrugging its shoulders and continuing to walk forward.

Kyouka and Momo were sitting on Momo's giant bed while the shorter girl slowly bounced around a bit. "Wow, this bed is crazy soft. It's almost as big as my entire room. You sleep here by yourself?"

Momo blinked, looking at her bed. "I do. But is my bed really that big? It seems awfully modest and standard to me."

"You have to be kidding me. Man, you're one blissfully ignorant rich girl." Kyouka rolled her eyes, knowing that if she had this kind of money, she could buy Izuku all of the best All Might merchandise and have an entire room just for instruments.

"Wait, what does that mea-"

The lights started flickering in the room for a few seconds until returning back to normal, but Kyouka looked around with a cautious look on her face. "For some reason, I have this strong need to hurt someone."

"There's no need for that…" Momo sweatdropped, looking up at the ceiling. "Please ignore the lights. This has happened a couple of times a day for about a week since they began renovation of the bathrooms."

"And it's going away and coming back for what feels like every 10 seconds…" Kyouka continued before it went away after a little while. "So, what did you want me to come up here for?"

"I have two reasons for that." Momo started, clearing her throat. First, I thought it would be best if I removed you from the kitchen so you would not get too impatient for Midoriya's arrival. I wish to not think about what reckless action you would have performed if I left you there."

"Hey, that's not fai-"

"Second, I have been wishing to speak with you in private for some time now. I figured that now I have the perfect opportunity for that."

"How come?" Kyouka asked, tilting her head with no clue why Momo would want to talk to her in private.

"I'm not sure you remember this, seeing as it was over a month ago. But after our match at the Sports Festival, you mentioned wanting to go over how I have the opposite problem, regarding your lack of taking time to strategize." Momo reminded the other girl, waiting for her to recall her own words.

"I did? Hmm…" Kyouka closed her eyes, trying to remember if she said anything like that or not. It was a little hard to remember that match with how much adrenaline was pumping through her body near the end. However, share finally started to recall that she did say that. "Oh yeah, I almost completely forgot about that. I'm surprised you remember that."

"It has been on my mind for some time now. Truthfully, I was ashamed of my loss. I still am a little…" Momo's expression went somber as she looked down at her lap. "I legitimately expected to at least make it to the second round. And no offense, but I expected to lose to someone like Todoroki or Bakugo, and there was this small part of me that felt relieved when I learned you were to be my opponent."

"Ouch. You were that confident you were gonna kick my ass, huh? I know I'm not a recommended student, but cut me some slack." Kyouka placed her hand on her chest, pretending to be offended.

Momo waved her hands defensively. "N-No, it wasn't that I had no faith in your skills. It is just that I made contingencies against your quirk after spending time strategizing. If anything, I was wary of you and tried to create multiple strategies in the middle of our match as well."

"Don't worry, I kinda get where you're coming from. I wouldn't be happy either if I lost like that. Especially losing to some random strategy I came up with."

"But with how well you did against Bakugo and your strategy against him, it seems that I had no chance to begin with."

"Well, the strategy I used against him was kind of the only one I had against him. But I don't think I would have used that on you unless we were in the finals." Kyouka twirled around her earphone jack as she looked slightly to the side.

"Hmm." Momo was about to bring up the topic of Bakugo but figured she shouldn't bring down the mood and she wanted to keep this conversation on topic. There will be a time and a place for that, but it's not now and not here. "Anyways, I want to know what you meant by my problem."

"Oh, that?" Kyouka looked back at Momo and let out an exasperated sigh, trying to think of where to start. "Well, how do I put it…? I guess you can say that you spend too much time strategizing."

"Too much time strategizing?" Momo looked absolutely lost. "Forgive me, but I don't follow."

"It's just that with all the strategies you come up with, if they go wrong, you panic. You don't rely on your instincts enough. Look at me, I only had a single plan against you and when that didn't work, I just threw all caution to the wind and came up with, in hindsight, a pretty crappy strategy, but it still worked." Kyouka crossed her arms, trying to find ways to explain this some more. "You gotta… be more in the moment, so to say. If a strategy of yours doesn't work, don't sweat it. You can either take the time to create a new one or come up with one on the spot and hope it works." She sighed and scratched her head. "I'm really not the best person to explain this… Sorry if it's not making sense."

Momo stayed silent for a few moments, cupping her chin with her eyes closed until opening them back up and held up a finger. "No, I believe I understand what you mean quite well. I never considered my lack of recklessness to be a detriment. Thank you, Jirou. I'll take your advice to heart and do what I can."

"That's great to hear, um, Yaomomo." Kyouka blurted out that last word.

"Hm?"

"Oh, I noticed some of the girls calling you Yaomomo lately, so I was thinking that I could start too. Or do you not want me to?"

"No, it's fine. But if I'm being honest with you, I was thinking of you calling me by my first name if you'd like. Of course, that is a personal choice for you to make." Momo gave Kyouka a soft smile. "However, I feel that I'm very much comfortable enough around you, despite the murderous intent that you emanate at times."

Kyouka was taken aback by this as she scratched the side of her head. "Oh… So I can call you Momo?"

"I did say that." Momo continued to smile, looking like she was expecting something herself.

Kyouka noticed this look and internally groaned, knowing that Momo probably deserved the same treatment. "Um… I guess I wouldn't mind you calling me by… my first name too…"

She was both lying and telling the truth when she said that. Yes, she felt very comfortable around her and could easily call Momo her girl best friend, so in any other circumstance, she would be 100% okay with this. On the other hand, she kind of wanted Izuku to be the only one calling her by her first name. Yes, she was okay with Tsuyu saying it, but it was nothing special and she calls every girl by their first name. But maybe she can make a special exception for Momo. Plus, at least Izuku will be the only boy in her life calling her by her first name.

"Ah, I appreciate your generosity, Kyouka." Momo expressed as she clasped her hands together.

Kyouka internally cringed a little at her first name coming out of Momo's lips. 'Uhh, it feels weird for someone my age to call me by my first name and who isn't Izuku… I'll have to get used to that.'

However, Kyouka put on a smile, showing no signs of her internal cringing. "Anytime, Momo. Now, while we're alone... I have to ask if there are any cameras around the mans-"

"You will not be spying on Midoriya and Ashido."

"Dammit!"

Izuku and Mina were leaning against a wall together, panting before slowly sliding down and sitting on their butts.

"D-Did we get away…?" Mina panted out, closing her eyes.

"Y-Yeah… I don't hear any footsteps around us." Izuku responded, his breath returning to him. "But… even if there were footsteps, I doubt we'd be able to hear them with how loud we're breathing."

Mina giggled and gently shoved him with her shoulder. "Don't freak me out like that. You're gonna make me start holding my breath."

Izuku smiled and shoved her back the same way, but being a little gentler. "Sorry, sorry. Well, if that thing does come by again, maybe we can fight it. I think we forgot that we're heroes in training for a moment there."

"Oh yeah, you're right. But do you think we can fight a ghost? Do punches and acid work? I thought you needed a vacuum for ghosts."

"Vacuums aren't really the thing you would use. Maybe a proton pack or something along those lines." Izuku explained, smiling.

"Proton pack? Never heard of it. Do you think Yaoyorozu can make one?"

"I unfortunately don't think they exist in real life. But who knows with today's technology. Hey, maybe we can get a special kind of vacuum from a deranged scientist."

"Maybe we can call Koda here to order the ghost to go away." Mina brought up.

Izuku shook his head. "I don't think a ghost constitutes as an animal."

"Hmm, Mr. Aizawa then?"

Izuku cupped his chin before starting to mutter. "You know, that would be interesting if this ghost was the result of somebody's quirk. What if their quirk was something like 'Revival' that allows them to live on as a ghost after their death? Is it even possible for quirks to transcend life and death? What if there are people who are seemingly quirkless, but actually have that type of quirk? But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, considering that I've gained a new understanding of quirks in recent times. Still, it could be amazing if quirks could function like that. Wait, would it be amazing? I could imagine it being pure torture having to live out your life as a ghost, being totally alone. So is this their only way to communicate with people? I could also imagine it being…

"Whoa, you really do go on and on. It's impressive how much you can talk without taking a breather." Mina commented, smiling at the boy.

Izuku stopped his muttering and rubbed the back of his head. "Oh, my bad… Hope that didn't bore you."

"The topic bored me and I didn't catch any of what you said, but I won't judge. Mutter to your heart's content whenever you want." Mina gave him a thumbs up before looking at the ceiling. "You know, Midoriya, I think this is the most we've ever talked, much less hung out together."

"Is that right?" Izuku looked up at the ceiling, trying to recall all the other times he's interacted with Mina before looking back at the girl. "Well, there was training at the USJ when me, you, and Hagakure were pretending to be injured civilians."

"That so doesn't count. That was training and we were literally forced to be together. And even if it did count, most of that time was spent with you pretending to be unconscious while we messed with you."

"Okay… then you're right."

"I always am!" Mina crossed her arms confidently until Izuku gave her a questioning look. "Okay, I mostly am. But it's not like you hang out with many people anyways, other than Jirou. I could tell she's your main squeeze."

Izuku's face went red as he scooted away from Mina a little. "M-Main squeeze?! And I hang out with Uraraka, Iida, and Yaoyorozu every day at school! Todoroki recently as well!"

"Yeah, but it's different with Jirou. I know you guys have been friends for years, but jeez, you sometimes seem uncomfortable when you talk to other people. Especially girls at the beginning of the school year." Mina teased, poking him. "I may not pay much attention in class, but I'm a master at paying attention to social cues. You could send me to some fancy school if it was based on that. So how come you get uncomfortable? Even while you were tutoring us, I could tell you felt out of your comfort zone. We're all friends here, so what's the issue, Midoriya?"

Izuku's went wide at this sudden interrogation. He went from feeling embarrassed to nervous in a single second as he didn't know how to answer her question. He looked towards one of the lanterns and opened his mouth to speak. "You see-"

Mina grabbed his face and turned it towards hers. "No, no, no, you look at me with those pretty green eyes of yours when you're talking to me."

"What about my eyes?"

"No asking questions. You answer questions. Go!"

Izuku looked into Mina's eyes, knowing there was no way out of this, so he might as well give in. "Okay… I'll share a little with you… I…haven't hung out with a group of friends in years… Kyouka was really the only one I hung out with since middle school… You could say I'm a little nervous about this whole thing, but really, I'm feeling better than I expected. I've had a great time since I've been here."

Izuku's nervous face turned into a happy one and Mina slowly let go of said face. "Wow, Midoriya. I never expected that out of you, but I'm happy you shared that with me. Even though I had to force it out of you."

The boy waved her off, shaking his head. "I don't mind. I need a push from people around me. After all, Kyouka was the one to push me into coming here in the first place."

"Oho, speaking of Jirou, we should talk all about her now that it's just us!" Mina got close to Izuku with heart eyes that begged for answers. "I want to hear an amazing tale of love, so I'm taking this chance now that I have it!"

"H-Hey, why are we back on that topic?!" Izuku felt his face heating up, not ready for her assault.

Before Mina could start prying into Izuku and Kyouka's relationship, the metallic footsteps from before were heard once again.

Izuku promptly stood up to both avoid Mina's questioning and to get ready for any possible fight. Meanwhile, Mina yelped and scooted against Izuku's legs while holding out her hands in case she had to start throwing acid at the armor.

"Hey guys, don't run this time." The text-to-speech voice was heard at the end of the hallway

Mina recognized that as her friend and stopped scooting toward Izuku. "H-Hagakure?! Is that you?!"

"LOL. LOL. LOL. You guys were so scared." Toru was clearly mocking them now, and they could tell that if she could talk right now, she would be mocking them even more.

"What are you doing here, Hagakure?! And why are you wearing that?!" Izuku asked, pointing at her armor.

"I saw this cool-looking set of armor and thought it would be fun to wear. Cool, huh?"

"So cool!"

"You should probably put that armor back…" Izuku had to stop himself from admiring how cool that armor looked in movement. "I doubt Yaoyorozu's family would appreciate it if you brought it home with you."

Toru wagged her finger at Izuku as if to say 'no.' "I texted Yaomomo and she said I could have it. Lucky me."

"Do you think she could give me a set too?" Mina was acting like she wasn't fearing for her life a moment ago. "We could be a duo of knights! Imagine Halloween!"

"OMG. That's an awesome idea. We'll ask her together."

Izuku cleared his throat, holding himself back from asking if he could have a set of armor of his own. "Anyways, why aren't you wearing a helmet? No offense, but a headless set of armor does not give a good feeling in a hallway like this.

"My hair gets caught in the helmet."

Mina nodded in understanding. "It's like wearing crappy headphones that elementary schools lend you, huh?"

"Those headphones do suck with hair." Izuku agreed before realizing something Toru said. "Wait, you have hair? Does it have a color? Do you know it? Could it be cut and become visible or would it stay invisible?"

Ignoring Izuku's questions, Toru put her hand on her hip. "Weren't you guys going to use the bathroom? Why are you here?"

"Wow, I almost forgot that I had to pee after that scare. Wait, I didn't pee myself, right?" She looked down at her shorts and sighed in relief to not find a wet spot. "Oh thank god! That would've majorly sucked."

Izuku checked his shorts as well for a second, nervously laughing. "I didn't either, so let's consider ourselves lucky. Do you have any idea where the bathroom is, Hagakure?"

"I passed by it earlier. Follow me and I'll take you there." Toru gave them a salute before starting to march away.

"Let's follow after her." Izuku held out his hand to Mina and smiled as the girl softly smiled back at him, not taking his hand right away.

"Midoriya… It's really too bad you're off the market. But first come, first serve, ya know." Mina took his hand, picking herself up and winking at him. "And you already got yourself a prime buyer."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Izuku asked, clearly oblivious to what her statement meant.

Mina stuck her tongue out before starting to walk away. "My secret."

Izuku snapped his head toward her and followed after her, still very confused. "What?! An explanation would be great!"

The two made their way to the bathroom while Izuku continued to ask Mina what she meant earlier, but Mina kept her lips sealed without a hint of letting loose. He eventually gave up after their long journey to use the bathroom was completed, knowing he would never get anything out of her.

Soon, Izuku and Mina came back to the table, of course explaining everything that happened. After Kyouka made sure they were telling the truth, she felt satisfied. Toru joined them as well and made fun of the two curly-haired teens a few times with her phone after how much they got scared of her.

Even though Kyouka hated the moments when Izuku was gone, she couldn't help but smile at seeing him laugh like crazy as Toru put on his pair of glasses while wearing her suit of armor.

He was obviously having a lot of fun, which would've made her feel a little jealous in any other situation. But he deserved this after not being with a group of friends for so long.

Maybe she can let go of her selfishness and not keep Izuku all for herself once in a while. Unless Izuku asks, she won't make much of a habit of it. But it's at least good to know that he's starting to get comfortable with others around him.

'See, Bakugo? After all that you've done to him, he can still be happy with others. Now I hope I can bring him enough happiness so one day that your stain on his life will be removed. Permanently.'

The day continued on with an interesting study session with Momo grabbing fake glasses for everyone to put on.

Weirdly enough, the glasses actually helped Kaminari and Mina, seeming like they were absorbing the material better than they did before.

Maybe the fake glasses did have some kind of power after all.

A/N

And chapter 53 is done! A fun little filler chapter if I say so myself. I was going to make this chapter a lot more haunted house-like and focus on Izuku and Mina's adventure in the dungeon more, but I decided I would rather save a horrorish themed plot line for either a one shot or future chapter.

But I was happy with this chapter, despite it giving me more trouble than it should've. After this, it's another filler chapter and then onto the final exams, which I want to just move out of the way ASAP.

After all that there'll be a few filler chapters and then I'll make my decision on whether to cover the 1st movie or not. I'm leaning towards no and making just a simple chapter that takes place on I-Island after the events of the movie. Cause I do want Melissa to exist in the story. Not as a character or anything, but for minor plot reasons. Also, I can't say I'm a big fan of the movie anyway other than the added lore it gives.

I really just want to get to the training camp arc as soon as possible, but at the same time I am doing the filler chapters cause these are chapters I've wanted to do since near the beginning of my story. And I have fun with them.

Now let's get to the reviews!

Shisarakage: He should've spread more rumors before he got taken down.

drake wind: Just don't worry about the son. Also, who says I'm giving Koda screen time? Pfft.

benedictloe: I don't think I'll cover that OVA. Can't say I care for it much. Love the zombie stuff though

Ghost Angel14: Appreciate the patience for the turns. It'll be a while, they'll come

Ability King KK: I dipped my toes into some of the shipping stuff, but more Izuku being the target.

Migetsu Newgate: Not the finals yet, but the chapter after for sure.

XxCaseyXx: Hey, who told you how the rest of my story would go?

bk201fan: I would love to do more fun Monoma stuff in the far future.

Guest: I believe a rewrite would genuinely be a good move, but I have no time for that. I looked into that game and I'm personally not interested. But at least I have P5 to play for the 3rd time on my Xbox.

So that's all for the reviews everybody!

That's the end of this chapter! Feel free to leave a review!
