Klaus opens his eyes. The sky is dull and overcast, but in a peaceful kind of way. A few birds fly overhead. Klaus stretches and sits up on the gravel path. He notices that he can move with no pain, a first in many days. It clicks in Klaus's brain just where he is - the little girl's monochrome national park. He wonders where she is right now and when she will show.

"About time you got up." An impatient voice behind him says.

He turns his head to see her better. "Oh, hello." Klaus waves with his right hand.

"You have been here long enough. Time to go."

"Hey, wait, wait, wait." Klaus gets to his feet. "Can't I just stay here? Angry lady isn't here. She isn't, right?" He hurries to add.

The little girl gives him a look of annoyance and snaps her fingers.
