The siblings stand around the room, coffees in hand, dead-eyed and lost in thought when Klaus, who has been still up to this point, starts to twitch and then seize. Vanya jumps in surprise at the sudden movement and drops her cup. At the sight, all she can do as freeze and watch as Klaus slowly glows a brilliant blue. Diego jumps into action and moves all the medical supplies and hotel table accessories away from Klaus. Vanya feels a hand brush up behind her. She turns around and screams at the apparition: a bloody lady with stringy hair and shredded clothing. Vanya shuffles back, covering her mouth so as not to make more noise and draw attention to their room. Her back hits a wall. Another figure comes towards her from the right. Beyond the multiplying spirits, she can see Five brandishing one of Diego's knives and blinking about the room. Luther, still on the table, swats at anything within reach with his massive hands. She images the other siblings are reacting similarly. An antagonizing scream pierces the room, but Vanya cannot tell which of her siblings made the cry. She sends a lamp through two ghastly bodies, but they continue forward, undeterred. She whips her energy blasts out in waves to keep them back and then, it all stops as suddenly as it started.
"Everyone okay?"
Three vocal confirmations sound through the room. Vanya stumbles out of her corner and for the second time, has to muffle her screams.
There, on the floor, arms still tied to the table leg, is what used to be Cha-Cha, but is now only a pulp. She is shredded beyond recognition. A boney figure in red. A medical diagram. A macabre painting. Definitely not human. This thing could not have been alive moments before.
Five steps up to her body to investigate. He swipes away a trickle of blood from a cut on his cheek. Vanya turns away from the scene, nauseated. She decided to focus on Klaus instead, except...
Vanya grabs Klaus's wrist, fumbling for a pulse.
"Guys! Uhhh." She tries again. "He doesn't- he doesn't- I can't find a pulse."
