Marry For Love
Chapter: Crushing Weight
As the two drove over to Naruto's business, the sun was fully shining and the day was bright and full of possibilities. Inside the car however, Naruto did all he could to keep his eyes and mind on the road, but that was hard when he had a lady's hand lovingly stroking his thigh!
Naruto breathed slowly out of his mouth, his throat constricting as the car made a right turn, and held in a hiss as Sakura's delicate fingers squeezed the muscles to hold fast onto him. 'Oh god!'
Did she realize that she could cause a crash right now? She was crazy! But...Maybe she had planned to hold his hand and was too scared to pull it back and- Naruto thought before turning his head to look at the woman. Her eyes gazing outside the window, a soft smile on her face, unconscious of his staring eyes. No. If she wanted to hold his hand, then she'd have done that. Sakura was perfectly content with her hand right where it was.
Inside Naruto's head, he'd been struggling all day. Like Damn this day was hard! He had agreed too quickly on no sex today! Naruto had seen heaven, he had been tempted, and he had been denied.
Earlier in the park, Sakura had looked like an angel in her sundress when he met up with her. The sun had been shining as they frolicked away, giggling and running everywhere with no real plan. It was so much like a movie that Naruto looking back on it now, couldn't fully believe it.
And when that shower hit, they raced for the tree, the cold downpour surging into their clothes. Naruto had taken his eyes off her for one second, and as he spun back, he was awarded with Sakura pulling off a skin tight sundress from her lithe frame. She had turned and demanded his jacket, and Naruto took that as a sign. They were going to fuck out in the open under the cover of the rain.
But when she laid her head down on his shoulder a few minutes later, he was rejected. But that's how this turned into something more. When she fell asleep...it settled him and his arousal. He could do this: a day without sex. But dammit! He cursed as he looked down madly wild. If she raised her fingers by an inch, he'd stop this car and fuck her brain out!
A few minutes later, they reached his warehouse's turn off and he pulled in. Naruto may or may not have seen the impressed look on Sakura's face when he parked in his own personal space up front and he may or may not have gloated about it just a bit. Sakura was impressed, but she didn't need her lover getting a swell head or anything.
She began to reach for the door when Naruto raced out of the car and made his way to her side before opening the door for her. Sakura coyly smiled. "How kind of you."
"Just making a good impression."
Sakura accepted the offer and followed him to the front door which he also held open. "It appears that you can hold open many doors, kind sir."
"I try." Naruto shrugged as both walked into the front area where Jaime looked up and gasped. Sakura held in a smile as the young girl tried to fix her hair before standing up and gathering some documents into her hands.
"Mr. Namikaze! I didn't think you were in."
"Afternoon. Jaime. I'm just showing my childhood friend around the place."
The girl gazed back at Sakura and she saw the way Jaime looked her over before biting her lip nervously, sizing her up. She quickly turned back to the task at hand.
"I have your files prepared for the next week, and the contracts still need to be signed."
"Wonderful, Jaime. I don't know what I could do to repay you."
Sakura smiled as the college girl hid a blush while playing with a strand of hair. "You've done plenty, sir."
"Well, make sure that you leave early enough for class. I heard that the freeway had an accident by your exit."
"Thank you. I will!" Jaime called out as Naruto continued his tour.
"She seems…nice." Sakura commented as Naruto nodded along.
"She's as smart as a whip, and always organizes my schedule. Every time I think I'm done, she reminds me of what I need to do."
"And what does Lightning Kunai do, exactly?" Sakura flirtatiously asked as they entered the warehouse, but she gasped as she saw the golden circle and black kunai everywhere she looked. "Oh my god! You graffitied everything!"
"I did not!"
"You so did!" Sakura giggled. "You tagged everything with that symbol in high school."
"My parents loved that symbol I drew...they renamed the company for that." Naruto blushed as he saw Sakura's smile only continue to widen. "Anyways, the company handles shipping for small businesses that can't have a dedicated person or prefers to let us handle the regulations and paperwork."
"Quite a few trucks you have lined up." Sakura pointed out at the ten bay doors.
"Business has been alright."
"You repair the trucks too?" Sakura spoke up as they turned the corner, where some employees were welding.
"Well, it's better than waiting in line for another company to come in...though we have begun to repair other companies trucks too."
"Sounds like you have many facets to your company."
Naruto shrugged. "I suppose. I just noticed how much experience my guys had, and they were tired of driving, so I asked them if they'd be willing and well...now the top guys are like lead bosses and such. I couldn't do anything without them."
"Of course." Sakura nodded happily along, hearing the humility in his voice. "Tell me more."
An hour later, Naruto sighed relieved as he smiled back at her. "And that's about it."
"That's a huge amount, Naruto." Sakura praised, rubbing his arm affectionately, causing Naruto to blush happily. "You do an amazing job...at work...and in other things." Sakura whispered seductively as Naruto gulped.
"Hey boss? Got a minute?" Another employee walked up and Naruto excused himself again. Sakura watched him talk a few feet away and smiled. That Jaime girl had obviously admired him and all these interruptions from his employees expressed respect and admiration. Sakura felt like she was showing her claim to Naruto around here, with a touch on his neck, the closeness she got; pretty clingy things to do, and things she'd done throughout all of high school.
Sakura shook her head of the thought. This wasn't high school. This was the place where his parents has forbidden him from taking her, saying that no teenager should be walking through a workplace with dangerous equipment, despite the fact that he was here every day to help.
"No…" Sakura overheard Naruto smile and shake his head. "...No, you already did that."
"I did? Oh thanks boss! I thought I was going to have to stay late to get it done."
"No problem Jerry. Enjoy your kid's birthday party. She's turning 16, right?"
"Yes sir! Plenty of young teen girls who are going to keep me up all night with their screaming. They plan to watch horror movies all night."
Naruto smiled and walked back to her. "Shall I show you my office?"
"Lead the way, sir." Sakura mocked as he smiled and led her up to the catwalk that from above you could see into every section of the warehouse. Sakura noted that she'd walked though many warehouses as an officer, but this one definitely showed some happy workers.
"And here is my office!" Naruto exaggerated by throwing his arms out and Sakura held in a chortle at the simplicity of it. Four computers on three desks, a few filing cabinets, and a private bathroom and stairwell off to the side. Sakura looked behind Naruto's desk and smiled at the fixed window. That window had brought them together in a way. She was thankful for that window.
"Hey um...sorry about all those people interrupting-"
"Oh hush Naruto!" Sakura cut him off, cooing as she stroked his face between her hands as she kissed his lips for good measure. "They absolutely adore you!"
"It's just because I'm their old bosses' son." Naruto tried to look away, but Sakura pulled back towards her and shook her head.
"They don't, Naruto. I'm sure that you've done some amazing things here."
"Maybe." Naruto shrugged as he sat down at his desk. Sakura smiled as she leaned against the edge of the desk, looking down at him as she caught him staring at her ass against the hardwood, and kicked him playfully. "My eyes are up here, Baka."
"I um…" Naruto stuttered, making Sakura giggle at his expense. When he looked up at her though, a wave of realization hit her. She hadn't been with him for all of this.
Naruto gave her a confused smile when she rubbed his arm, and she voiced it aloud. "We never really talked about this yet. Tell me if I push too far but...What happened after I left? Your parents, all of this…"
Naruto smiled sourly. "Well...when I realized you weren't at school the next day, I went to your house. No one was home. Eventually, your parents said that you were far away and they refused to tell me anything. I was depressed. I mean...there I was, after being with you, and then it was like I had nothing."
Sakura's eyes teemed with tears, but she nodded for him to continue. "I guess i just...learned to live with it? My parents were getting sick constantly. I started helping them out as a job for the remainder of high school. I got in for a year of college in...before…"
"...before they passed…"
Naruto nodded. "...I wanted to be beside them, I had planned to forget the whole thing, but they insisted I experience it. I did love it there...so many people...so much to learn...and in their will, they asked me to take care of the business."
Naruto looked out at the window that looked over the floor below, chuckling sourly. "This place was a mess when I got here. Everyone was sad. People were asking me constantly what was going to happen. My parents weren't kidding either." Naruto grinned sourly. "I always thought they never cared, but working here, I see it now. My parents poured everything they had into this place. Every day, they did 12 hrs. Every weekend, no vacations. They worked for every dollar they made."
"So what happened?"
"Well, I figured that we could help everyone find jobs. You know, ease their issues. The company had money for a year from the profit. So I figured it'd be fine to scale it down and then close after everyone had another job."
"That didn't happen."
"Well...the economy was bad, and people were worried about starting over. So I figured...maybe if I go out and get some short term contracts. You know, to keep it all afloat."
"And?"
"Well...they worked too well."
Sakura smiled cutely at his response. "How can it be too well?"
"The contracts I made...we filled them apparently better than others, so they renewed and extended them...I was stuck...I mean, I couldn't let those small businesses down. If I shut down, they'd be lost too. You know?"
"So you kept the business going."
"Yeah…."
"So...how does Hinata work into this? I mean um…" Sakura stopped short. They never spoke about his upcoming marriage. It brought up the fact that this time together was temporary, but the mood was right and Naruto shrugged.
"She met me that first party in college, and always talked to me in class. She said she liked me, and watched over me...a little stalkerish I'll admit, but...after I left, she kept in touch. I could...tell her things, you know? She listened to my problems."
Sakura swallowed back her jealousy and guilt. That was her role...before she left. "So she was your confidante?"
"Yeah."
"So you love her?"
Sakura was met with silence. Of course he loved her, he was marrying her. He was...Sakura widened her eyes when he stared back at her and shrugged sourly. Sakura was stunned. He didn't love her...he was doing this for something else then…
"Why not?" She asked.
"I mean, I know she loves me...insane about voicing it at times and I...I care for her. I mean sleeping in bed together, we don't complain, it's nice having a body beside you at night."
Sakura grimaced, silently agreeing with him on the warm bodies. "Then why?"
"I know it won't be a romance like my parents. It will be more like a mutual agreement. As for why? …She knows business."
"...That's it?"
"No...I've told you I'm selling the company."
"Yeah, but its profitable-"
"For now. I've done all I can, Sakura." Naruto voiced, his breath raspy and filled with defeat. It made Sakura's heart clench. "I've increased wages three times, I've added people and benefits, but we still keep growing! But I can see it, the strain on everyone here. Maybe next year or the year after, it'll be too much. We'll delay orders, we'll burn out, and then we'll be crushed. Everyone loses their jobs and contracts. No one wins."
"But?..."
"Hinata has connections…family…her last name is Hyuuga." Naruto released his breath, spilling the unspoken secret.
Sakura gulped. That was a very, Very well known name in the whole land of fire. "Of Hyuuga Corp?"
"Yeah. When we talked, she knew our advantages. So she suggested the idea of taking in Lightning Kunai under the Hyuuga umbrella of companies."
"And she asked you to marry her." Sakura finished.
Naruto grimly nodded. "Yeah. Sasuke and his brother have been like best friends and they demanded I push the envelope for a better proposal. But it'll be great for everyone!" Naruto's eyes lit up with a crazed glint. His normal cerulean orbs now held cracks and shifted haphazardly side to side as he spoke…And Sakura didn't know if she liked it or not.
"Everything gonna work out. Everyone gets golden parachutes. Pensions, college funds, I'm getting all of them a life after the business. They can work here, or another arm of Hyuuga Corp with preference on where they want to go. And Lightning Kunai will be the shipping arm of a company that can handle the growth."
"And then...I mean I have to marry but…" Naruto swirled around and stared out the window as Sakura watched his eyes alight with a passion inside of them. "Then I can leave with peace… I can find the thing that I want to do with my life. Wouldn't that be great?"
Naruto breathed in, and Sakura noticed the tiredness creep back into his system, as if weighing him down. This responsibility thrust upon him for all these years… it was killing him, wasn't it? Sakura wanted to get rid of that weight for him, but she couldn't. She could ease it though.
"So you don't want to follow your parents?"
"I want to keep their legacy alive; this place, the people who work here, and Hyuuga Corp will deliver on that."
Sakura leaned over and lightly pressed her lips into his cheek fondly. "You are so selfless Naruto. Maybe after all of this...you should volunteer."
Naruto's nose wrinkled as he looked confused up at her. "What?"
Sakura giggled at the look. "Come on, Naruto. You do amazing work for others. You put others way before yourself." She giggled sadly as she stroked his arm. "Honestly too much so."
Naruto saddened as he looked down. "Is that bad?"
Sakura quietly slid off the desk and down into his lap, pulling his face into hers as she straddled his waist.
"You don't need to worry about that...you be selfless...I'll always be there to take care of you." Sakura whispered, her heart pounding deeply inside her chest as Naruto smiled genuinely and they began a session of lips and limbs right there in his office.
Sakura felt the weight lifting off his shoulders by her presence, and as she slipped her tongue inside his mouth, she shivered with delight as he gripped and pawed at her sides, fulfilling her lustful needs.
She'd learned so much this day; Naruto thought she was truly one of a kind. Both a rebel, and a woman. His love for his fiancée was logical and straightforward, whereas what they felt for the other was filled with a surge of lightning rushing through their system. And lastly, Sakura knew that she was truly in love with this man, who was selflessly sacrificing his own chance at happiness for the future of those around him.
God that made her hot and bothered! Sakura deepened the kiss, pressing deeper into him as he moaned into her throat as her hands slipped just under his waistband.
"Hey Naruto, Jaime said you were here, but I swore that I told you to take easy. And- ah!"
Sakura backed up, the breath of air making her body twinge with adrenaline as she twisted her body to look at the intruder on their tongue tied romantic endeavors.
The man was as pale as she was, his clothes much finer than what a normal person would wear in a warehouse. His physique wasn't bad; Ino might drool over him in attraction, with his red eyes blazing back at her in stunned embarrassment. And his black hair, did it really look like a duck's butt?
Sakura giggled as she twisted her upper half to face the man, but kept her thighs pressed tightly on Naruto's lap for support. This was the man in the report she had filed about the broken window.
"Hello. I'm Sakura, Naruto's date for the afternoon. Pleased to meet you."
The man looked down at her outstretched hand before chuckling lightly and grinning as he stepped forward to shake it. "You are most definitely just as Naruto said you were."
"Glad I live up to expectations."
"I'm Sasuke, Naruto's warehouse manager."
"I see."
"Naruto, don't worry about today. I got this. I'll leave you two alone."
Sakura felt a wave of heat roll over her as the door to the office closed and smiled shamelessly as she leaned in to steal a deep kiss as she played with his hair.
"Naruto, you love the rebel in me, right?"
"I do." Naruto agreed as he leaned back in his chair, as she sucked lightly on his neck. His smile turned into arousal as Sakura began to unbutton his collar while also grinding against his lap "...S-Sakura?"
"...Naruto…" Sakura whispered salaciously as she softly bit his earlobe, draping her heating skin against his. God he was so hot right now, but it was probably her. "...You want to do something...rebellious?"
She felt Naruto's gulp as she kissed along his throat, his breath turning ragged as his body began to stir at the prospect of what she was asking, rising to the occasion. "But I thought you-"
Sakura smiled softly at her lover. He had held back so hard today, and she wanted to reward that in the only way she knew how; in a way that his future wife could not; in a way that only wistful lovers like the two of them could accomplish.
Staring deeply into the other's eyes, their foreheads touched and their breathing grew heavy as their limbs began to slip clothes to the side, up and away from their destination. "You have given me a great afternoon, one that I will treasure...but I want something more primal...and I've never done it in a place of business yet."
Sakura mewled as his fingers slipped under her dress and kneaded her ass, preparing her for a long hour or so of sexual bliss. "You're insatiable." He whispered huskily. "You know that?"
An hour later, the two stepped out of the warehouse front doors, Sakura fixing her hair for the thousandth time as Naruto fixed his collar. The employees would definitely have something to talk about by the water cooler, but the hazy fog of bliss only made them care less about anything but the two of them.
"Naruto, care to drive me home?" Naruto nodded as he once again opened the door for her. A few minutes later, waiting at a stoplight, Sakura's fingers slid back to his thigh as she smiled softly and kissed at his cheek. "We should do this again sometime. I like these dates."
"Yeah?"
"Mmmhmm." Sakura smiled, her eyes ablaze with unbridled love. "Next time, you can decide."
Naruto smiled back at her, his own eyes teeming with the same emotions as hers. "Done."
Hope you enjoyed. Till next chapter
