Author's Note: Hey guys! I want to apologize again for the month long gap again. My schedule has been getting even tighter than before, and I have also been going through some struggles within my personal life that have affected me negatively and left me feeling no motivation at all for anything. Now that college is kicking into high gear now that the midterms have passed, I've had even less time to publish this story and work on it. However, I do want to let you know that I am fine now and those personal issues have passed. Anyways, I also want to thank you guys for getting this story over 500 total views! I really appreciate you guys reading Shinsei and going through the journey of these characters. I will be working on more chapters as fast as I can, but I can't make any promises on a fast delivery. However, as of this chapter, we're halfway through this arc! Here's a power level check on where we stand!

Well, with the power levels done, we can get back to Shinsei! The 2nd half of this arc is in the works!

Chapter 8:

Vejin was left in shock after Ryuko was shown to have a tail. "That's impossible." Vejin proclaims. "You couldn't have been born with a tail, your blood has so little Saiyan DNA, that you don't have enough to produce one! So how?" Ryuko responds as such: "Well, I never really said I was a hybrid." Vejin is still in shock that Ryuko has a tail: "Okay wise guy, how was I supposed to know you had a tail? Looking into your mind or something?" Ryuko apologizes: "Alright, alright, I'm sorry. But yea, I'm actually a pure saiyan."

"But you can't be. There's no real bloodline that has been pure blooded for hundreds of years. Your existence in itself is an anomaly." Vejin remarks. Ryuko hesitates for a moment before telling Vejin: "Well, I guess you make a point. There's not much that I remember, but I can tell you what I know."

We travel all the way back to Age 719, approximately 18 years before Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza.

Ryuko would be narrating his tale: "To be honest with you, I don't exactly remember much. Back then, I was just a baby. Maybe just a few months old at the time." We see an infant Ryuko within the circular space pod travel through the vacuum of space. However, a much more menacing and powerful ship would be tailing this pod. "Next thing I knew, I heard this giant ship following behind me. It felt like there was no end to this pursuit."

The larger ship would begin to fire off attacks towards the smaller pod. However, the smaller pod was able to evade the attacks through an automated defense system. "Whenever I dozed off, I heard a voice. A powerful one at that, haunting me all the way down to my very core."

There would be two shadowy figures in this dream. One with a higher stature, but both of them have tails. The first shadowy figure would look disgruntled and angered, until it spoke: "That status…It was my birthright to obtain it! NOT THIS SNIVELING LITTLE BRAT!" The shadowy figure would fire off a blast at the second figure and diminish it for good. "I will make sure that it will be my right! NOT HIS!" The first figure takes off in a storm of rage.

"Sometimes, I always ponder who that unknown victim was. Why were they attacked? Who's birthright was it? But, I realize now that that victim was the one who sent me away to safety. I even speculated it to be my parents. But, I know who this first figure was. He was the one who killed my birth parents. They were the victims of his rage and now he's after me."

The small space pod would continue to evade and out maneuver the bigger ship. However, all of a sudden, a black hole would emerge within the chase and swallow the small ship as a whole. "The next thing I knew, I saw nothing but darkness. I couldn't see any light at all outside of the ship. It was terrifying.

We now arrive in the year 982. Fast forwarding 264 years after Ryuko would enter a black hole. "I would sleep and once I was awake, I arrived here at the doorstep of who I call my family. I arrived here 18 years ago and was taken in by Grandpa's son and wife who I call my parents." The space pod would crash in a nearby forest. The young couple venture out to the crash site to find a baby and raise him as their own.

"That there, Vejin, was my story. I have been warped here by accident since I was a few months old and why I'm a pure blooded saiyan." As Ryuko says this to him, he wraps his tail back around his waist.

After carefully listening to Ryuko's story and knowing his background, Vejin responds: "To see that something this traumatic has affected you at a young age is definitely detrimental and I see why you might want to hide your saiyan lineage. Hell, even I myself aren't used to your weird customs on this rock. But, you also need to come to terms with yourself. You need closure, Ryuko." Ryuko rebuttals: "I'd love to have closure with this, but I don't even know if he even followed me here after the black hole. Maybe he's been dead for hundreds of years, hell if I know. It just upsets me that I won't be able to achieve that closure I need!"

Vejin retorts: "Then unleash your anger. You need to let go. I want you to fight me while doing so." Ryuko was shocked to hear this: "I'm not going to do that, Vejin! Why should I let out unnecessary anger onto someone who doesn't deserve it!?" Vejin simply replies with: "Do it." Vejin is not backing down from this and will continue to egg on Ryuko until he gives in. Ryuko sighs briefly, before blitzing into action, kicking Vejin to the side.

Vejin recovers swiftly, leaving Ryuko to continue his onslaught of punches and kicks! "Good! Now channel that rage and use it as your power!" Ryuko's attacks would increase in force as his aura begins to appear! Vejin, still on the defensive, would attempt to deflect the attacks, but will be bombarded by several more.

Ryuko's emotions would explode: "I WILL KILL YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Of course he never meant it towards Vejin. Ryuko is just imagining he's facing the figure who killed his birth parents. Ryuko slams into Vejin at full force with both arms extended, striking at Vejin's chest! "GUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Ryuko would cup his hands to charge up a kamehameha: "FULL POWER! KA….ME….HA….ME…HAAAAAAA!" Vejin would quickly put up his guard against the attack as he skids back. The blast would cover the gravity chamber in smoke. The kamehameha also left a humongous thud sound and shook up the entire Capsule Corp property.

Ryuko, now able to snap back into reality, would end his vision of the figure. Vejin would be completely tattered and wounded after Ryuko's full power blast. Ryuko walks over to help Vejin back up. Vejin reaches out his hand for assistance, and Ryuko obliges.

"Listen, Ryuko." Vejin says. "Even though you may act differently than I do, I still think it's glad that I know that there is a second pure blooded saiyan with me. You have my respect." After saying this Vejin smirks at Ryuko. Ryuko would smirk back and help Vejin get back up fully.

Vegeta Jr enters the gravity chamber to see the damages Ryuko caused. "MY CHAMBERRRRRRRRRRR!" Vegeta Jr bellows. Ryuko awkwardly laughs and puts his hand behind his head: "Looks like I got a bit carried away back there. Sorry, Vegeta, sir! Hehe!" Oritsu and Letuce would also accompany Vegeta Jr. Letuce would wince after seeing the damage: "Yikes. Grandpa is gonna blow a gasket at those 2." Oritsu facepalms: "Looks like we won't be able to train for now."

Vejin heads to Letuce and Oritsu: "Even without the chamber, we will still find a way to train. Come with me…" Vejin leads them outside."

Vegeta Jr's anger begins to rise. Ryuko tries to calm him down: "So, uh, does that mean I'm done with training for the day?" Vegeta Jr erupts and shouts at Ryuko: "YOU'RE GONNA FIX THIS! Y'HEAR ME! I'M GIVING YOU UNTIL TOMORROW NIGHT TO TIDY UP THE CHAMBER!"

"B-But, Vegeta, sir! I don't even know how to fix the chamber!" Ryuko tells Vegeta with a bit of anxiousness in his voice. Vegeta Jr tells Ryuko straight: "You're lucky I'm merciful…You'll be assisted in fixing this place with the help of my assistant… Kiki! Can you assist Ryuko here in fixing the chamber?" The female voice in the distance would respond to Vegeta Jr: "One second, sir!" After about a minute, she would make it into the now, wrecked gravity chamber: "Sorry, sir. I ran into my little brother out in the hallway. He can be so careless sometimes."

"Could you help Ryuko fix the chamber Kiki? Next time, I don't think I'll be giving him such an offer again after this…" Vegeta Jr leaves the chamber.

Kiki is a 21 year old human-saiyan hybrid, but does not train like the others. She mainly focuses her time as a human more than a saiyan, since she completely lacks any fighting experience. She has long purple hair with small red streaks, and works at Capsule Corp under the eye of Vegeta Jr. She is also Oritsu's older sister.

"Let's get to work so I can show you the ropes to this. That other punk with the prideful banter already messed up the chamber once before. Make sure you pay attention."

Vegeta Jr enters the room: "One more thing, Ryuko." Ryuko looks over to Vegeta Jr: "What's that, Vegeta, sir?"

"You don't have much time left before you fight the Dark Namekians again. You and the others will be setting out in 3 days time. You better be prepared by then or else you will be killed out there. I'll go tell the others." Vegeta Jr says and then exits the gravity chamber.

And so, we now have 3 days until the face off against the Dark Namekians occurs!
