"Hah! You're such a pathetic crybaby!" Evan's older brother Michael laughed as he towered over Evan. Evan was currently on the ground because he had fallen when Mike had decided to jumpscare him from behind the tv moments before.

Evan said nothing in response, he simply tightened his grip on his gold and purple bear plush known as Fredbear. He tried not to make eye contact with Michael, or show how scared he was at that moment. However, Michael could tell how close Evan was to tears and laughed at his younger brother. It wasn't Michael that scared Evan necessarily, well, he was scared of Mike, but the thing that Evan found the most terrifying about his older brother was the fox mask that was based off of one of the robots at one of the restaurants their father owned. For some reason, that 'Foxy' mask made Michael appear almost ten times more terrifying to Evan than before.

"Aww, is someone gonna cry?" Michael mocked Evan before grabbing the Foxy mask he knew Evan was terrified of and sliding it over his face. Evan tried not to look at it, he hated that thing so much… "BOO!" Mike yelled, making almost a lunging motion toward Evan and stopping just inches away from his face.

Evan fell back terrified and despite his efforts to hold them back, tears started to stream down his face, as Evan looked up towards Mike, who was towering over him, laughing at him.

"Haha! You really are nothing but a weak little crybaby, aren't you?" Michael said with a surprising edge to his voice.

Evan sat back up, wiping his bloodshot eyes, but tears wouldn't stop streaming down his face. "Please just leave me alone for once…" Evan begged softly. He was so quiet, Evan was unsure if Michael even heard him. He managed to stand up before getting an answer from Mike.

"And what if I don't? What are you gonna do about it?" Michael questioned him with a mocking edge to his voice. "Crybaby!" Mike snapped, jumping out at Evan again like moments before, this time, waiting until his mask was nearly touching Evan's face.

Evan fell back to the ground again, this time even more terrified than before. Tears came streaming down his face faster than they already had been. But he didn't make any sounds other than small sobs here and there. At this point, he was so scared to the point that he was now trembling. He just wanted Michael to leave him alone, but he already knew that it was useless to plead with him to stop.

Whatever happened after that was a complete blur to Evan, but he was now standing in his bedroom. He looked at the digital clock atop his dresser. It read 11:59 PM…

Evan grabbed the flashlight from under his pillow and took a deep breath. It was the same thing as every other night. Check the doors, check the closet, and shine the flashlight onto the bed. Don't mess up, don't forget anything, and only open the doors if absolutely necessary. Evan repeated these steps without rest until his clock read 6:00 AM.

"May as well at least try to get some sleep," Evan said to himself. First, though, he checked the date, it was finally Friday. On the day of Evan's birthday party. Maybe today, Mike might leave him alone for once. Or, even better, Michael might say something nice to him for once and really mean it!

Evan's plan to try and get some sleep was ruined when he overheard Michael's friends arrive at the house. Even if Michael had decided to leave Evan alone today, his friends would change his mind. Still, Evan decided to at least try, maybe until his father had decided to tell Mike to go wake him to get ready. As much as Evan hoped that sleep would come, it never did. And he had ended up staring at his ceiling for about 30 minutes, until one of Michael's friends, Simon, had "accidentally" wandered into Evan's bedroom.

Evan flinched when Simon turned the doorknob and started to open the door. He quickly turned on his side and snapped his eyes tightly shut, hoping Simon would believe that he was asleep and leave. While pretending to sleep, he turned over to his other side and tried to open one of his eyes just enough to see what was happening. But there was a pillow in his face anyways. He heard footsteps come closer, then go away. Then he heard his door closing and assumed that he had left. He waited about 2 minutes before sitting back up and looking forward toward his closet, he wasn't looking at anything. He didn't realize the pair of dark red plastic fox ears poking out from the foot of his bed…

"BOO!" Mike yelled as he leaped out from the foot of Evan's bed. Evan jumped and make a small sound that kind of sounded like a gasp. "Hah. Crybaby." Michael teased in his usual cocky voice, "Anyways, dad wanted me to tell you to get ready and wait in the van or whatever." Mike's tone changed to more of a bland type of tone when he talked to or about William. Michael walked out back into the living room and continued talking to his friends.

Once Evan was ready, he walked out of the house and into the purple family van. He made sure he was sitting at the very back, to avoid having to sit next to Mike or one of his friends. About 10 minutes later, Mike and his friends came outside and got into the van, followed by William. William started up the van and started driving to Fredbears Family Diner…

Once they got to the diner, Mike and his friends grouped up in a small area of the large party room. They were talking about something they didn't want anyone else to hear…

Meanwhile, Evan found a section of the diner where he sat down on the floor with his beloved Fredbear plushie. It was out of the way enough that no one could see him unless they had really looked around. He also liked it because he didn't really like being acknowledged that much anyways.

"HI!" exclaimed one of the girls from Evan's class. She had dark orange hair in two high pigtails, tan skin, and dull green eyes, and she wore a bright red dress. She was always a bit loud for Evan, but he enjoyed her company most of the time. She ran over to Evan excitedly and sat down next to him. She gave him a small box and an envelope and started talking to him nonstop.

Meanwhile, Michael and his friends continued to talk in private to each other. One of his friends, Frederick, was getting impatient with whatever they were waiting for. Evan didn't pay much attention to this, he was just glad Mike was leaving him alone for once…

"I'll be right back," the girl who was sitting with Evan said as she stood up and ran off to go do something. Evan stayed where he was and simply waited.

One of Mike's friends said something to Mike, and Michael soon turned his head toward Evan, realizing he was alone. One by one, Michael and his friends each put on their masks, the masks that they knew Evan was so terrified of. They walked over to Evan and surrounded him, with Michael standing directly in front of him. He tried to back away but instead backed into one of Michael's friends. He turned around and saw the blue rabbit mask, which belonged to Mike's friend Mark, towering over him. He fell to the ground in terror trembling, tears came running down his face almost immediately.

"Wow, your brother is kind of a baby isn't he?" Mark said to Michael, laughing at Evan.

"Yeah, it's hilarious!" Mike responded, looking down at Evan with a smirk. "Hey, why don't we help him get a closer look? He'll love it!" He said with slightly more of an edge to his voice, he then reached for Evan's arm…

"N-No! P-Please!" Evan pleaded, trying desperately to free his arm from Micheal's grasp…

"Come on guys, let's give the little man a lift. He wants to get up close and personal!" Mike ignored Evan's pleading and with the help of his three friends, lifted up Evan and started carrying him toward Fredbear. . .

"N-No! I don't want to go!" Evan sobbed, trying to do whatever he possibly could to get Michael to let go of him. But it never worked, Michael and his friends continued to carry him closer and closer to the stage. . .

"You heard the little man! He wants to get even closer! Ha ha!" Michael laughed, again dismissing what Evan had said before. They brought Evan right up to the stage, when Michael then said, "Hey guys, I think the little man said he wants to give Fredbear a big kiss!"

Evan tried to pull away again, but Michael tightened his grip on him. With some help from his friends, Michael lifted Evan to the giant gold and purple-themed bear animatronic. . .

"On THREE!" Michael said, holding Evan inches away from the robot's face, Evan was trembling and sobbing worse than ever. He kept trying to loosen their grip on him, but they only held him tighter. Suddenly, Michael started counting, "One. . . . . Two. . . . ."

Suddenly, without the warning of 'three', they lifted Evan, head into the wide open mouth of the Fredbear animatronic. Evan struggled and tried to get out with all his strength, but he soon realized that Michael was holding him in place. His trembling and sobbing only got worse. There then was a sudden crank sound in the head of the robot, he then froze in fear. Michael must not have heard it, because he continued to laugh, firmly holding Evan in place…

Then, without a warning, the animatronic bit down hard on Evan's head, splattering blood onto Michael's mask and the surrounding area. The blood dripped down the mouth of the robot, Michael let go of Evan in shock and removed the Foxy mask from his face, dropping it on the ground. As Evan's body fell to the ground, Michael caught him, he then fell to his knees and pulled Evan closer to him, Evan's entire frontal lobe was gone…

"E-Evan…?" Mike said with a trembling voice. He didn't believe what had just happened. He shook Evan, who remained motionless. "E-EVAN!? W-wake up…" He stammered, Michael was now trembling and tears started to run down his face. "E-EVAN! PLEASE WAKE UP I'M SORRY!"

Then, everything went dark again…
