Chapter 51

Just as the Scouts prepare to attack the Jaw Titan, they are gunned down by the Cart Titan with Anti-Titan weapons on its back.

"Damn it!" Aya rolls her eyes as both she and Eren take cover inside a building.

Eren says, "Aya, you help the Scouts, those Anti-Titan weapons are going to be a problem. I'm going to transform again."

Aya nods, "Be careful, love."

Eren jumps out of the building and transforms, then he decides to ignore the Jaw and the Cart as he charges at the War Hammer, however, Lara Tybur uses the power of her War Hammer Titan to impale Eren Jaeger as he holds the hardened crystal she is using to protect herself. Though Eren manages to block the attack against his neck by hardening the arm of his Attack Titan, the rest of his body is lifted into the air in a tree of hardened Titan flesh.

"Eren!" Mikasa and Aya yell in horror.

Just then, Zeke also arrives at the scene. Dina says, "Zeke..."

At the same time, Gabi is running as she yells, "I'm gonna kill you! Eren Yeager!"

Eren sees Zeke, who says, "Let none escape. Kill them all. But capture Lady Neumann, as she'll need to answer her betrayal."

"All of you, don't die on me. Survive!" Levi says.

Levi decides to handle the Beast Titan as he charges at him. At the same time, Falco is still dragging Reiner's unconscious body. He turns around and sees the battle, he says, "This is..."

Mikasa is still trying to break the crystal, while Aya has to focus on the other threats like the Jaw and the Cart. Falco says, "Lady Neumann and Mr. Kruger... no, Eren Yeager..."

Falco stares at Reiner's body and says, "Damn it... his Titan powers were taken. I'm sorry, it's all my fault."

Zeke tries to throw some rocks at him, but the Cart and the Jaw have been stopping them.

"Be careful! I'm not sure where Ackermann is! He's hiding somewhere!" Porco says.

"Hurt my Dad and you're goner." Aya says as she continues to dodge the bullets from the Cart.

Eren says, "You're completely worn out now. If you had anything left, you'd stab me right through my nape. You've got no more moves to play. But I have plenty."

Just then, he jumps off and then transforms again, Porco says, "Shit! After all that, the bastard still had more fight in him?"

Aya is now flying towards them, and Porco yells, "Aya, why have you betrayed us?!"

Aya says, "I was never on your side, to begin with, if anything, I'm on the Eldian Empire's side, the Tyburs are traitors!"

Then she flies away to assist Eren, Porco grits his teeth and says, "Shit... but if we get him, the Founder..."

"What are you afraid of, Pock?" Pieck asks.

"There's no need for us to rush. We're the ones controlling the battlefield. They're being driven into a corner. They came here in ODM gear, so their weapons and fuel are limited. In other words, they're stranded in enemy territory without support. The Marley army has surrounded the zone by now, so there's no escape. For starters, Paradis can't compete against Marley in a real war anyway."

"But if we take out the Founder right here and now, they can't do the rumbling! Their trump card is right in front of us!"

"Eren Yeager and Aya Neumann... they took his Armored Titan powers!" Falco says.

At the same time, Gabi arrives and she is breathing heavily. "What do you mean the Armored Titan powers are taken?"

Magath says, "So it's true... Aya Neumann is capable of taking away the Titan powers..."

Armin rushes to Annie and says, "These are the last refugees."

"Now let's help Eren and the others." Annie says, "The Battleships will be a problem, we have to destroy them."

At the same time, Dina, Peter, Odom, Katrina, and Annie manage to hide behind a shield as they are standing still.

"I'm glad you manage to create this kind of hardening weapon..." Dina says.

"Yeah... this is really good to use." Peter says.

"The Colossal Titan! The Titan they stole from Bertolt!" Pieck yells.

"Those shits! Guess they didn't barge in here without a plan after all!" Porco yells. "How about this, you damn devils?! If you lose the Founder your plans mean Jack shit!"

Mikasa notices Porco and she takes out her blades. Porco gasps, "The other Ackermann?! Outta my way!"

The Scouts continue to move as Zeke falls suddenly from an attack to the nape from Levi, landing in front of Magath, Falco, and Gabi. Levi lands on the Beast Titan's head, ready to ignite an explosive.

"Zeke!" "Get down, Gabi!"

Then the bomb explodes as the two Titans watch in shock. "Zeke?"

"Pieck! They're coming!" Pieck and the Panzer Unit struggle against the Scouts and one of the Cart Titan's machine guns are silenced when Sasha Braus shoots Carlo in the head.

"You'll pay for that!" Pieck yells as she charges at Sasha, and at the same time, Peter manages push Sasha out of the way as Jean yells, "This is for last time!"

Jean Kirschtein leaps over the lip of the roof and manages to fire a Thunder Spear into her Titan's eye. Aya says, "Everyone attack, but don't kill her!"

Then they destroy the Panzer Unit as both Peter and Sasha lands on the ground.

"Are you okay, Sasha?" Peter asks.

"I'm fine." Sasha says.

"Mr. Fischer?" Peter notices Gabi and Falco in front of them, and since the fire is getting close, he grits his teeth, damn it!"

He bites his hand and transforms into the Ocean Titan, shooting a blast of water to put off the fire.

"No way... even Mr. Fischer is one of them?" Gabi asks in horror, and then they turn around to see Pieck falling to the ground.

Armin is watching through the top of the Colossal Titan, he notices that the refugee hall is safe thanks to the shields, but looking at the fallen soldiers, he wonders, "Are these the sort of sights that you saw? Bertolt?"

At the same time, Falco says, "No... please don't!"

Jean says, "The Cart Titan won't be able to battle, let's help Eren and the others!"

Aya also lands in front of Sasha and Peter, who transforms back into a human. "Where's Pieck?"

"Over there... but I thought all of the children are in the refugee hall, why the hell is Falco and Gabi here?"

"They're here? Damn it!" Aya says. "Let's ignore them!"

The others are trying to shoot at the scouts, while Gabi and Falco put Pieck beside Reiner.

The Jaw tries to jump in front of Eren, but he punches him and shoves him to the ground, but he manages to bite off Eren's hand.

"Eren!" Aya yells in horror, but Eren gets the crystalized Lara and causes the jaw to break it.

"Kill my husband and you're dead!" Aya yells as she and Mikasa manage to get in front of Porco.

"So fast! Ymir's Jaw was nothing like this." Mikasa says.

Back in the hut, Falco and Gabi are watching over Pieck and Reiner. Falco says, "It's awful. Her body can't heal fast enough. But she's a Titan, so why?"

"Unlike the Armored Titan, the Cart Titan isn't exactly known for toughness." Gabi says while turning to Reiner. "And you said Reiner lost his Titan power to Lady Neumann?"

Falco says, "Lady Neumann says that she's freeing him from the curse...I think we should leave him out of it."

"What... are you saying? What about all the people Eren Yeager killed?!" Gabi yells in anger.

Gabi tries to get outside, and Koslow says, "Hey, Gabi! Stay away from the window! The enemy will see you!"

Much to their shock, above Liberio, an airship follows the guide lights set up by the Scouts. Hange and Oyankopon are the ones inside.

"Commander! I've spot the spotlights!"

"Thank goodness. So far, the operation's going as planned." Hange says. "We're counting on you, Oyankopon."

"Leave it to me, Hange."

At the same time, Dina, Armin, Annie, Katrina, and Odom are on the ship, Hange says, "Sneak through the zone, low and slow. We follow the lights and pick everyone up. We've only got one shot, so any stragglers are out of luck. If we're not shot down first, that is."

Hange turns to Dina and says, "But still, everything is just as you planned..."

"Technically, Eren is the one planning this with Commander Erwin before we stayed here." Dina says. "Thanks to the memories that Eren show us back then, we are able to change a lot in this battle."

Just then, Mikasa and Aya manage to slash the limbs of Porco, and Eren grabs him up and throws him to the ground before shoving Lara's crystal inside Porco's jaw, Porco is horrified at what Eren is doing, and he yells, "Stop! You're kidding me! STOP IT!"

And with his horror, Lara's crystal breaks and Eren manages to drink all the blood from Lara, gaining the power of the War Hammer Titan!"

"What happened..." Gabi asks in horror.

"The War Hammer was eaten. And the Jaw Titan is next." Koslow says.

Eren slams Porco to the ground, and Aya jumps in and touches Eren's ankle while touching Porco. Porco mutters, "Aya..."

"Porco. Becuase of the Jaw Titan, you have suffered, now it is time to free you from the curse." Aya says as Porco gasps before passing out. And the power of the Jaws is also inside Aya's body.

Mikasa manages to grab Aya as they are now landing on Eren's shoulder. Eren pops out of the Titan's body and says, "Our mission is done here. We can forget the Cart for now. She will definitely come for sure."

"Are you sure?" Aya asks.

"We need to get back on the airship." Mikasa says as they all head back up, with Armin, Katrina, and Annie helping them up.

"Damn, you're a filthy sight. You fall in a pile of shit? Eren..." Levi glares at him.

"Captain..." Eren mutters.

Levi then kicks Eren to the wall, he says, "This brings back memories, Eren. You have such a kickable face. That's for having my daughter and grandchildren in danger."

"I deserve that." Eren says. "And we've already explained this through the letters and the meeting firsthand. Did you not understand it?"

"That face... It reminds me of the rotten shits who lived underground. Never thought I'd see it on you." Levi says.

"Enough, Dad." Aya says, "At least we're safe."

Dina walks in and says, "So the Cart escapes?"

"Yeah... that's the only thing." Eren says. "Where is Sasha?"

"Katrina is with Sasha." Dina says, "As for the two children, Annie is taking care of them."

"I see." Eren says, "If I remember correctly, Gabi and Falco will be here any minute, we have to stop them from killing Sasha."

At the same time as the other scouts, Jean asks, "Is everyone here?"

"Still waiting on Lima Squad." Connie says.

Falco remembers what Eren and Aya said and he makes a decision.

As Lima Squad enters the airship, Lobov calls out that the airship is free to ascend. He spots Gabi running below, but hesitates to shoot when he sees she is a child. Gabi fires her rifle, killing him with a shot to the head. Lobov's corpse drops to the ground, though the wire from his ODM gear stays attached to the airship. Testing the gear's trigger, Gabi asks Falco to tell her family that she fought until the end and prepares to board the airship. Colt Grice arrives and rushes toward the two, causing Gabi to hurry and activate the trigger. Falco remembers Reiner telling him that he would have to save Gabi, and grabs onto her as the wire reels them up.

Lobov's body hits the airship with a thump, Katrina hears it and says, "They're here! Protect Sasha!"

But none of them hear her except for Jean, Connie, and Sasha. Katrina says, "Damn it..."

As she notices Gabi's shadow, she quickly steps in just as the gun is shot, Katrina gets shot in the torso and she falls limply on her back.

"Katrina!" Sasha yells, and this causes Floch and the others to realize what's going on. "Katrina!" Floch rushes to her.

Gabi and Falco notice the one falling on the ground and they're shocked. "Dr. Kruger?!" Falco gasps in surprise.

"She's one of them as well?" Gabi mutters in surprise. Jean and Connie quickly kick the rifle away and the other scouts are tying them up.

"Katrina! Are you alright?" Floch yells.

"I'm fine... I can heal myself with Titan powers..." Katrina says. "Just let me lie a little."

After both of them are tied up, Floch says, "They climbed aboard using Lobov's ODM gear. I'll toss them outside, all right?"

Jean says, "If we toss kids out of an airship, will the killing ever end?"

Back in Marley, Magath asks Koslow, "What happened to Braun and Grice?"

"They ran off without warning and never came back." Koslow says.

Pieck says, "Commander, I remember... There was a Marley soldier who led Galliard and me into a trap. I remember seeing that same soldier three years ago. They were on the first scout fleet sent to Paradis after Reiner came back."

"The missing scout ships?" "Yes, I'm sure of it. They looked so awful with a beard."

"How'd you identify the soldier?" Magath asks.

"Well, it's someone I had a particular interest in. Because... she's a devote follower of Zeke."

Levi turns to Yelena and asks, "Hey, you gonna wear that forever?"

"Huh? I thought it was well-recieved." Yelena says.

After hearing the shot, Eren yells, "Sasha...is she alright?"

Back with the others, Sasha yells, "Don't touch me, you devils! We haven't lost yet! The rest of our comrades will carry on the will of War Chief Zeke!"

"What are we going to do with them, Katrina?" Floch asks after Katrina manages to sit back up.

"Us true Eldians are gonna haunt you till you die!" Gabi yells. "Pass that on to your ringleader after I'm dead!"

"If you want, I'll take you to him." Katrina slowly stands up, and Connie asks, "But your wound."

"As I said, I'm the Weather Titan. I can heal myself. You can tell him exactly what you told me." This causes Gabi and Falco to be surprised, so she is the one who killed Willy on stage.

"Thank you for saving me, Katrina." Sasha says.

"No problem." Then after Katrina brings Gabi and Falco inside, they are surprised to see Aya sitting with Eren and both Erich and Carla sitting on their laps. Besides Dina, Zeke is also sitting with them.

"Why? Why are you here?" Falco asks.

Levi says, "Who are these kids?"

"They killed Lobov and used his gear to come aboard. Thanks to you, brother. Sasha didn't die this time."

Seeing the wound on her stomach, Eren says, "I see... you take the bullet. I'm glad."

Dina says, "Well then, Zeke. Did everything play out as you hoped?"

"Mother. For the most part, but there were a few miscalculations." Zeke says.

'She's Zeke's mother?' Gabi and Falco widen their eyes in shock.

"I want to kill you if it wasn't for your family." Levi says. "And with Eren married to Aya, we're also a family as well..."

"We killed the Marley brass and destroyed their port, some portion of their reinforcement and fleet." Aya says while turning to Annie, "Besides those two, did you make sure none of the innocents and children went out of the refuge hall?"

Annie says, "We made sure none of them would be a suicide bastard like you."

Zeke says, "But now we have 11 out of 12 Titans. The cost of those sacrifices will be paid through Eldia's freedom."

Hange says, "But still, I must say that the letters you gave me about the Anti-Titan weapons are really fascinating."

Falco widens his eyes as they are actually what the letters are about. Eren says, "Anyway, once we get back, we will begin our ritual."

The others nod as Paradis is close.
