Chapter 52

After arriving back at Paradis Island, the Dina Squad gets to the farm first to see the pregnant Historia. Historia says, "You guys are back. I'm glad."

"Your highness." Dina bows, "Sorry that we left for so long. With some miscalculations, the plan is going just as expected."

"I see..." Historia says. "Have you seen Premier Zachary yet?"

"We're just about to greet him." Eren says. "We thought that we should inform you first since you're our true leader."

Historia nods, and once they are back at the castle, they find Erwin, Nile, Pyxis, and Zachary.

"So I trust that the plan works?" Zachary asks.

"We got 3 of the Titan powers from Marley, the only exception is the Cart Titan." Dina says. "However, Aya now has the power of the 12 Titans, her strength is now fully complete."

"And according to the report, you also capture 2 children who manage to sneak onto the airship?" Zachary asks.

Eren says, "Sir, despite being children, Marley has trained them by using weapons and they have been fighting in the war at such a young age. They are just like our Cadet Corps but training to inherit the Titan."

"That's absurd! Training to become a Titan at such a young age?" Nile asks.

"Yes, Reiner Braun, Annie Leonhart, and Bertolt Hoover were the same age as them when they broke the wall." Dina says, "Marley treats us Eldians poorly as they were forced to become soldiers in such an age."

"I see. What do you intend to do with those two?" Zachary asks.

Dina says, "They are brainwashed by Marley to believe we are devils, I think we should give them time and they will learn their errors. We're not going to kill children who haven't seen outside the world."

Pyxis says, "Oh? So it is another gamble?"

"We have to do it to make sure the Eldian Empire's safety." Aya says. "The World will wait until 6 months before they launch the attack on us, during these 6 months, I'm sure we have sent you the pictures of the weapons created by other nations."

"Yes, and our engineers have been working on it." Erwin says. "So should we begin?"

Nile stares at Erwin, who leaves with the Dina squad. "I still can't believe he volunteers to become the Armored Titan."

"Considering his plans always work, we really need armor just like him." Pyxis says while taking a sip of the wine.

In the ritual site provided by the Reiss chappel, Erwin and Sasha are chosen to inherit the powers of the Armored and the Jaws. Once the transformation is complete. Connie and Jean rush toward Sasha and Connie ask, "How are you feeling?"

Sasha says, "It was terrifying to be a pure Titan...so I'm a Titan just like Eren..."

Jean says, "Though I can't believe you choose Sasha over us..."

"Sasha has great instincts, and giving her the Jaw is probably the best choice." Aya says.

"Marley might not be a problem for us, however, there is still the Cart Titan..." Levi says while turning to Zeke. "How is your persuading going?"

Zeke sighs as he remembers what's going on.

Before reaching Paradis Island, Eren and Zeke are using the paths to contact Pieck. Pieck notices them and she growls, "You traitor...Zeke, what the hell are you thinking? Are you seriously going to betray us like Aya Neumann? And you... Grey Kruger, no, Eren Yeager... to think we never suspected a thing when you sneaked into our ranks."

Zeke says, "Traitor? Me? I never said I was loyal to Marley this whole time. All I'm doing is to free Eldia and our people. I only want Eldians to be free, that's why when I learn that my family is still alive in Paradis, and they have been in contact with Aya, I know my dream is coming true."

Eren says, "If anything, the Tybur Family and Karl Fritz are the true traitors of Eldia. They gave up the power of the 9 Titans to Marley and they were the ones who used Eldians to fight the war against others. Do you think being an Honorary Marleyan will make you free? No, you're still an Eldian and you will never be treated as anything else."

Pieck freezes a little as she starts to think about what Eren says. Zeke says, "Listen, Pieck. I understand that it's hard to betray people that you've been fighting side by side all your life, I really do. I've been there too, but I need you to ask yourself this question: Do you really think that what Marley does is right?"

"I know you're not a bad person, Pieck Finger." Eren says, "You're just like Annie, confused and conflicted."

Pieck widens her eyes and asks, "What did you do to Annie?"

"Annie already brings her father and comes to live in Paradis." Eren says, "She is also helping us because she already knows what Marley does is wrong."

Pieck says, "I see... Do you really think that they will let me stand by their side after all these things that I've done to them? Do you really think they will forgive me?"

Eren says, "Annie and Zeke did worse than you, and look what they've become. The reason Annie was stripped of her power was because of an accident since Aya didn't know what she could do with her powers then."

Pieck frowns and says, "Fine, I'll trust you. Not just for an old friendship, but also for Lady Neumann as well."

Eren says, "Good. Here's what you're going to do. When Reiner wakes up, he will try to have Commander Magath attack Paradis right away instead of waiting for the allies. And when that happens, you'll be able to come to Paradis."

Pieck nods as she says, "I'll trust your plan."

"We've already talked to Pieck, however, when Marley finally arrived, it is her choice to join us or not." Zeke says.

"Even if she doesn't want to join us, we still have Aya and we will strip her of her powers." Eren says.

"I see..." Erwin says. Hange asks, "Commander Erwin, how do you feel after your arm has grown back?"

"I kinda miss the feeling since I got used to working with only one arm." Erwin says. "But that means both Sasha and I have 13 years left to live, right?"

"Yeah...we'll find a way to break the curse." Eren says. "Though Aya and I are going to see Gabi and Falco, is that fine for you?"

Hange says, "Then Mikasa and I will accompany you."

Mikasa nods and says, "Yes."

Once they get to the cell, they find Falco and Gabi. Aya says, "Falco, Gabi."

The two of them stare at Eren and Aya as Gabi yells, "Eren Yeager... I'm gonna kill you!"

"You're still saying that?" Eren sighs. "Geez, you really just like the old me four years ago..."

"I'm not like you, you devil!" Gabi yells back.

"Enough. You'll only hurt yourself if you continue." Aya says.

Hange says, "But to think Marley will have these children as warriors, it is so wrong."

"They don't care about it as long as they are Eldians, all around the world treat us as devils." Eren says. "And we have been trying everything to prevent the Rumbling and I think this is already the good choice."

"What are you talking about? What do you mean bad choice?" Falco asks.

Eren says, "Attack Titan can see the future, this is one of its abilities. Four years ago, I saw this future, if we didn't change it, Zofia and Udo were bound to die a few days ago."

"You're lying!" Gabi yells. "Why should I trust you?!"

"Zofia's body was crushed under the debris, you were sitting right next to her. Udo tried to help her, but he got trampled by the stampede. Stepped on, over and over, until his head split open and dead." Eren says, causing them to widen their eyes. "Do you seriously want that to happen?"

"You... you devil!" Gabi yells.

"How many times you're going to call us that? It's annoying." Aya says.

"Is it true?" Falco decides to ask, "Back then, you and Lady Neumann told Reiner and me... you guys were attacked by Marley Warriors and lost a lot of people..."

Mikasa frowns and says, "It's true."

Hange says, "Indeed. I still remember all of my squad were killed by Bertolt's transformation except Moblit and I..." Hange frowns.

"Anyway, you're coming out." Just as Eren opens the door, Gabi quickly grabs a brick and tries to attack them, but Aya grabs her hand and stops.

"Let go of me!" Gabi yells.

"Until you're not doing anything stupid, we're not letting you go." Aya says.

"Falco, you'll come too." Eren says, and Falco can only gulp as they follow them.

"Where are you taking us?" Falco asks nervously.

"We're taking you to our ruler." Aya says, much to their surprise.

Sasha, Kaya, and Peter are now at the ranch with Historia as they are taking care of the children. Peter says, "I'm surprised you decide to come here and help."

"I can't always stay in Dauper Village." Kaya says. "Both of you are the ones who saved me."

"Yeah..." Sasha says. Historia then turns to Sasha and says, "Since you're the Jaw Titan, I want to ask did you have memories of Ymir?"

Sasha says, "Well, I did see some memories about her, but nothing special since it is always you."

"I see..." Historia frowns as she looks at Erich and Carla, she smiles as she is glad to see Aya and Eren's children again.

At the same time, Hange, Mikasa, Aya, and Eren bring Gabi and Falco to the farm. Eren says, "Just stay right here."

Mikasa offers to watch over them, as Gabi notices some horses nearby.

"We can use that horse to escape." Gabi says.

"What the heck are you saying?" Falco asks.

"We must run further away. I can't get alongside those damn devils." Gabi says.

"Hey, the queen wants to see you." Hange says as Mikasa brings them to meet the queen, who is sitting on a chair.

"So they're the kids that you told us about?" Historia asks.

"Yes, this is Gabi, she's Reiner's cousin, and Falco Grice." Aya says. "Since they're just kids, it will be horrible for them to stay in the prison cell. So we think we should let them stay here and get along with the orphans."

"I see..." Historia says as she turns to Gabi and Falco. Both of them are scared a little, "No need to be so scared. We're not going to hurt you, you're our guests here in Paradis."

Eren says, "By the way, how's Carla and Erich doing?"

Peter says, "Carla and Erich are doing fine, though they sometimes will cry because they miss you."

"I see..." Eren says.

Falco notices Historia and thinks, "She's pregnant..."

Aya says, "Since everyone's here, how about we have a meal together?"

"That will be nice." Hange smiles as they all head indoors, Eren says, "You two should come in as well."

After the two reluctantly follow, Falco says, "I'll do the talking, so keep your mouth shut."

Gabi is still glaring at the others, but they reluctantly sit together. Just as Aya delivers the plate for Gabi, she tries to slap it away, much to Falco's shock.

Aya frowns, "I'm sorry, I'm sure you all have been through a lot."

"Sorry for Gabi's actions. Thanks for the meal..." Falco says as he tastes the food, "This food is good. Come on, eat up, Gabi."

But Gabi is hesitating, Peter says, "Don't worry, it is just food that I learned how to cook back in Marley."

"I must say that they taste so great. I really missed your food." Sasha says.

"Yeah..." Peter says as the others laugh, however, Kaya is just watching those two.

And here is a new chapter, as you can see, Eren is not going to be in jail and the whole future has been changing, so it won't be the same as the story and I hope you like it.
