Chapter 56

Eren and Aya manage to meet up with the others as they all change back from their Titan forms to their human forms, Eren asks, "What's the situation?"

"We damaged their aerial forces by using the Sky Titan and the machine guns." Armin says. "And because of the snowy weather, some of the soldiers didn't make the fall as they are falling to their deaths..."

Erwin says, "Even though they are still winning over numbers, we have to be careful when fighting them."

Levi asks, "And what about the Cart Titan?"

"She's our inside informant, we let her bring those two kids back to their family. Now that's done, we're making sure she's alive and we'll fight back." Eren says.

Just then, they quickly dodge the way as they see the soldiers shooting their rifles at them. They also notice Reiner and Jean says, "Damn it... Reiner is still here..."

"Without the Armor, he is vunerable." Connie says as he tries to shoot at him, but Reiner hides behind the building and dodges the attack.

"Commander Magath, Reiner is-" Gabi gasps.

"It's General now. Even though he's not the Armored Titan, Marley's shield is not that weak. No, he's not the shield protecting Marley. Right now, the fate of the entire world rests on our shoulders. We're not going to kill the Founding and just postpone the problem. Today, we're going to eat the Founding and put an end to the 2000 years of grudge!"

Pieck flinches as she is the only one capable of eating Eren to gain the powers. Now Reiner and Porco are fighting together while trying to shoot at the scouts, some of them are hit, but some of them manage to block the attack using shields that are as rough as the Titan armor.

"Damn... since when do they have all that weapons and shields with them?" Reiner asks with horror.

"It doesn't matter, I'm going to let them pay for trampling my home!" Porco yells as he targets Eren, who is trying to get close to them.

"Eren... You're no threat by yourself. Just give up already. This is the end for you."

Eren glares before taking out a bomb and throwing it at them as Reiner and Porco quickly jump out before it explodes.

"Eren!" Aya notices where Eren is as she rushes towards him.

"Protect Eren and Aya!" Mikasa says to the scouts as they are flying around Eren and Aya, Jean says, "Damn... he's still the Suicide Bastard..."

As Sasha is zig-zaging around the area, she is hit by the Cart Titan's gear.

"Sasha!" Connie yells in horror. Armin already arrives and asks, "Sasha, are you alright?"

"That hurts...Good thing I'm a Titan..." Sasha mutters.

Armin notices Pieck and the gear, Magath says, "To think that the best sniper we got here is the Commander in Chief. Marley army sure has fallen to the lowest point it can get."

Zeke notices the Cart and says, "I'm sorry, Pieck." Just then, he takes a huge rock and tries to throw it at the Cart Titan, causing some soldiers except for Magath to fall.

"There is still the Beast Titan..." Magath grits his teeth. "However, his ambush is only possible thanks to Willy Tyber's sacrifice. Just as he risked his life to tell us, we need a true hero like Helos!"

As they continue to fight, Reiner manages to find Eren and Aya flying with scouts using the ODM gear. Reiner says, "Enough already...Everyone has suffered enough, you've suffered enough..."

Aya says, "And who do think causes us to suffer? Marley. You wouldn't leave us alone, huh?"

Just then, Levi arrives and he manages to slash through 8 to 9 soldiers at the same time. Porco gasps, "Shit... not the Ackermann again!"

Eren then bites his hand and transforms, and he also forms the War Hammer and throws it at the soldiers who are trying to shoot at them, causing them to get killed easily.

Aya says, "Reiner. You know you're not going to win this fight with Marley, all we want to do is save Eldians from the suffering of other nations. None of this will happen if they just leave us alone."

Just then, Eren notices Magath trying to shoot Aya, and yells, "Aya, watch out!"

Aya widens her eyes as Levi quickly jumps in the way as he uses the shield, but it creates a giant explosion that causes Levi to fall.

"DAD!" Aya yells in horror. Katrina hears it as she quickly rushes towards Levi. "He's still alive." Katrina says. "Don't worry, Aya. I'll treat him."

Aya nods as Eren says, "As long as the machine guns are on the Cart Titan, we still need to be worried about the attack."

"Eren... I wanted to end this. How am I the same as you? That's enough." Reiner says.

Eren stares at him and says, "9 years ago, Shiganshina, our home, was trampled by Titans after you broke the wall. This is the war you started, we're just finishing it!"

Then Eren roars and causes a lot of people to cover their ears, and Dina arrives in the Female Titan form.

Dina says, "Eren, it's time."

Eren holds hands with his mother, and just then, the wall beneath the Cart Titan and Magath starts to break.

"No..." Pieck quickly jumps out of the way, as the wall breaks and reveals hundreds of Armored Titans. Magath asks, "The Armored Titans? Not the Colossal Titans?"

Eren yells, "Protect us and destroy the weapons!"

Just then, the Arrmored Titans are rushing towards the Scouts and protect them using their bodies, and then some of them are rushing over to the soldiers, forcing them to drop their weapons.

"It happens... the small Rumbling..." Falco gasps as now he's with Colt and Gabi.

"You're kidding me..." Colt says, but just then, an Armored Titan approaches them, instead of trying to kill them, they cover them up and protect them.

"But why?" Gabi asks in shock.

Connie says, "So this is what it looks like the inside of the Armored Titan..."

After that, all of them retreat inside the Armored Titan, however, before they can get inside, Porco shoots Louise, causing her to get hit in the stomach.

"Louise!" Aya yells in horror.

Eren says, "I'm going to save her." He jumps out of the Armored Titan.

"Don't do it, Eren!" Dina yells, but in vain, Eren starts to scream as he manages to dodge the bullets from Reiner and Porco as they get Louise back into the Armored Titan they're in.

Gabi, Falco, and Colt are still inside the Armored Titan, Colt says, "Damn it... how are we going to get out of here if the Armored Titan shields us like this..."

Gabi mutters, "There are no devils... on this island, there are normal people... I finally realize what Reiner's feeling."

Colt and Falco stare at Gabi in shock. "We unilaterally decided that people on this island are devils... and we're repeating the same mistakes!"

Gabi holds her head with tears coming out from her eyes. "I'm sorry, Falco. You already knew this, but I dragged you here..."

Just then, she takes out the ODM gear given by Zeke and jumps towards the wall. Magath and the other Marleyan soldiers widen their eyes in shock as Magath asks, "Pieck?"

"I'm sorry, Commander Magath. But Marley doesn't have a future." Pieck says as she jumps into the Armored Titan where Odom, Zeke, and Peter are in.

"Damn Pieck, you let Commander Magath kill more of our people." Odom says.

"I know, but it is hard to get them off me considering they're heavy." Pieck says.

Zeke says, "Anyway, now we have all 12 Titans with us, it is time that we fight back."

Just then, Eren places Louise on the ground as Katrina is trying to save her, Levi says, "Just great... even though they're not giants, but they still give us a lot of trouble..."

Aya says, "It is time to end this all. Now it is time for the Neumann powers."

Just then, Aya's eyes are glowing as all the Armored Titans are moving toward the rest of the soldiers. Once they are out of the Armored Titan, they start their counterattack.

"Damn it... so all this time they're inside the Armored Titan just to reload the weapons?" Porco yells in anger.

Zeke notices Colt, Gabi, and Falco as he rushes toward them. Zeke asks, "Are you alright?"

"Zeke..." Colt gasps in shock.

"Don't worry, we're not going to fight you." Zeke says, "Colt, I know you're inheriting the Beast Titan to keep your family from being sent to Paradis. But now that the Tybur Family doesn't have the War Hammer Titan and the fact that I'm not standing by Marley's side, they have no means to transform your family into the Pure Titans."

"Yeah..." Colt says, "I rarely understood you even before you betrayed us. All of you don't want to drag kids into this, that's why you have been trying to evacuate people in Liberio before you attack, and the Armored Titan shielded us?"

Zeke says, "So what if you're right? Are you going to continue to fight us?"

"I'm not saying you should just lie down and die! Just protect Falco... after that, slaughter away! Kill as many Eldians and Marleyans as you want! Please don't drag Falco into this!"

Zeke says, "Colt, only too well do I understand the feelings for one's sibling." He turns to Pieck, "Pieck, bring Gabi and Falco out of here."

Pieck nods as she transforms into a Titan and brings Gabi and Falco out of the battlefield. Instead of running toward Magath and the others, she runs in the direction of Wall Rose.

Zeke turns to Colt and asks, "And what about you?"

Colt says, "I am going back to Liberio and bringing my parents here. If Falco wants to betray Marley, then so be it."
