I have the feeling I'll be disappointing some of you who have certain events in mind but it didn't come back in the story as they expected (very concerned and confused about that). Though I promise even better (according to me at least) development. If you don't like it I'm willing to rewrite the last chapters :) just let me know what you think at the end, I'm very excited.

Eimajssof I don't really believe in good and bad people, just in fiction you can see the obvious good and the obvious bad characters. In real life, the same person can be good and bad depends on our interests. It varies depending on the viewpoint of their surroundings, some will say they're good some will say they're bad.

Sarada and Boruto returned from the Land of Valleys injured very badly. Sakura and Shizune tended to them. Hinata and Himawary were so worried about Boruto. Naruto arrived moments later and Sasuke was on a mission. E167
After the treatment Boruto and Sarada slowly healed in the hospital. They decided to train more and get stronger to defend themselves and their friends especially Mitsuki who was very badly injured too and was treated by Orochimaru.
After their release they started training directly. Sasuke was busy with Sarada so Boruto had no choice but to beg Kakashi -who can make a Rasengan- to train him. They trained for long days and nights. Hinata supported her son with trust and bento boxes. Himawary wrote him little encouraging notes. Sakura checked on her daughter from behind the trees! E168
E170 At the Uchiha training ground, Sasuke was training Sarada to get stronger and master one tomoe sharingan.
She was getting better at avoiding kunais. But she wants more. Sarada wants to know about the mangekyo sharingan. Sasuke wasn't ready to tell her about his suffering that woke up the Kekkei Genkai.
Sakura arrived at the training ground very worried about Sarada, who was recently discharged from the hospital. Sasuke was irritated with her interference. He looked the other way.
"Sarada, are you aware of the strain you've put on your body, and the chakra you've used up?" Her mama tried to argue.
When Sarada found no answer to that. Sasuke tried to defend their training. He spoke coldly, "I'm making sure that she doesn't go overboard. Isn't that enough?" He grit his teeth.
How could she interfere with their training uninvited? Doubt his reason to train his daughter, and don't trust him enough to stop before it's too much for her to take? What kind of father does she think he is? Sarada was his daughter after all and he adored her as much as her mama. He would give his life for her.
Sarada told her she wants to be strong and have eyes like her father.
This news shocked Sakura.
"Do you know what those words mean? "
Sasuke didn't want her to tell Sarada anything yet.
"Sakura," he said firmly. "There is nothing that you should be worrying about."
In other words 'I know what I'm doing. Stop freaking interfering with the Mangekyo Sharingan matter. You know nothing about it. She won't get it anytime soon. It's not that easy. Stop your paranoia.'
But she didn't stop, she is just as annoying as she was as a child. Sure when matter has to do with Sarada her paranoia gets to extreme levels.
Sakura bent her knees and put her two hands on her daughter's shoulders "What kind of training are you doing, I hope you're not doing anything that puts your life at risk."
Sasuke thought how stupid is she. 'Would I let her put her life at risk? She is my daughter, damn it. She really thinks she can get Mangekyou Sharingan from training. I have spent years training and still didn't get it until...'
Sarada got angry at her mother overprotective interfering and left. Sasuke ignored his wife, and turned his back to her 'Sakura stopped the training, hope she is satisfied.' he thought.
"I feel uneasy about her Sharingan getting stronger." Sakura said, concerned.
"You mean the Mangekyo Sharingan? "
"What triggers it to awaken is parting from someone you love."
'Is she afraid I will part Sarada from her mother to awaken the mangekyo? Really?'
"It's said that a tragic fate befalls the wielder of the sharingan." Sakura added. "I'm scared that it will happen to our Sarada some day."
'She stopped her training because she was scared she would get a sad tragic fate that befell the wielder SOMEDAY? What a bunch of crap.'
He wanted to say 'Sakura you are annoying!' but instead, Adult Sasuke said "I can understand your anxiety."
But she didn't stop blubbering. He lost interest in her explanation, he was in another world already. He could feel Hinata's chakra. She probably was getting Boruto a Bento, like when he trains with him.
'Why can't Sakura be supportive like Hinata? She never stopped Boruto from getting stronger. In fact she pleaded with him to return Naruto after the chunin exam. She had faith in him that he was capable of doing it.
I promised to do the same for my children. Itachi and my father always doubted my strength and never trusted my powers. But I won't do that to my kids.
I'll always have faith in them and push them to be more than they are. Only this way they'll get stronger and face the dangers of the shinobi world.
Sakura must let her daughter train and get stronger. She is the only Uchiha I have and she must defend herself and get way better and stronger.'
I wish I could talk to Hinata. She probably was here to see me. But when she saw Sakura she hid.'
He could feel her hiding behind the tree waiting to know what Sakura was arguing about.
Hinata saw Sasuke upset with Sakura interfering. She wanted to help him by talking to Sakura and dismissing her fears.
She told Ino about Sakura's worries and they made a girls night talking about how they should trust and support their ninja kids and give them space to try new things and be stronger. Sakura was still worried about Sarad's extreme training and her curiosity to wake up her Mangekyo Sharingan.
Hinata wanted to talk to Sasuke about her divorce agreement with Naruto. But she thought maybe another time.
She hasn't seen Sasuke in two weeks. He was busy all the time with Sarada and even Sakura (after the girls night ) was there training her daughter E171, she didn't want to interrupt them. She would deliver the bento to her son and leave.
After the girl's night, Sakura saw how well Hinata looked. She changed so much. Hinata told her that Sasuke trained her and he is really the best trainer, that Sakura shouldn't worry about Sarada.
Sakura thought deeply about it. Sasuke was never interested in training anyone except Boruto as his official student and his daughter.
He looked happy too and spent much more time in the village.
Is there something going on with the two?
She must tell Sasuke about her and Kakashi too. She was adored by Kakashi and he gave her all the love and attention she needed. But this can't go on. She is not a young adult anymore and she wants everyone to know about their relationship. She doesn't want to hide it from her child and not from Sasuke, he deserves to know and maybe move on.
She doesn't care about being from an ancient clan anymore, that was so stupid of her. She is the only married woman still wearing her husband's clan crest. After the war, world peace and the new changes, no one cared about being from a strong clan. She made a name for herself, who doesn't know Sakura Haruno, the young medic-nin who was more famous than her shishou Tsunady the Legendary Sannin.
She went to the Uchiha district. They need some privacy.
"Sasuke-kun, we need to discuss something important."
"hm" he gave her his full attention.
"I want a divorce" his eyes widened. He had forgotten that they were even still married.
"Why now? " He asked out of curiosity.
"I want to have a public relationship with Kakashi, we had a secret affair all this time. But my reasons for hiding it changed." she said ashamed.
"Did you talk to Sarada about it? "
"Not yet, just wanted to tell you first. I know you told me more than once that I can ask for a divorce whenever I want."
"So you already know my answer," he said coldly.
"I do but I want to ask you something else." she blushed.
"What is it?"
"Are you in a relationship with Hinata? Do you have an affair?"
He flinched, he never expected it to be so obvious to anyone.
"You were friends before you left," She added "Then the day you left she got in shock and she was sick the whole time you weren't here. Then you returned and she got better. You even trained her. Is there something I don't know? You can trust me Sasuke-kun, I want our relationship to be friends. That is best for all of us, especially Sarada."
"We love each other." he answered uninterested.
She was shocked, she never expected the Uchiha to be able to say the L-word.
He added "we were attracted and attached to each other before I left. I wanted her to divorce Naruto but she refused. So I left for their relationship to have a chance. I never knew that would happen to her. But now they are separated and she is requesting a divorce too. "
"You left your daughter all these years because of... her?"
He got red of anger, she never saw him like that.
"Sakura... You told me many times that I'm not needed and that you can manage your life alone. You were always afraid of the sharingan and its troubles. On top of that I was on a serious mission saving the world. When I knew my daughter needed me and wanted me here, I returned. I only returned for her, not for Hinata. I didn't visit Sarada because I didn't want anyone to know about her existence. There are a lot of Uchiha enemies out there, and I had concerns about her safety. Later, I discovered what happened to Hinata because of my absence. Her marriage to Naruto was never worth saving. That idiot neglected his family for too long even in her condition… If you didn't request divorce I would have."
She lowered her head in shame. Her accusation wasn't based on facts.
She knows he loved Sarada so much. He wouldn't leave her for years for no reason. And Sakura knows she is as guilty for his absence.
Sakura wanted to talk to Hinata. They met at Dongo-ya. They had some dango and matcha-tea.
"Hinata, why didn't you tell me about you and Sasuke-Kun?" Hinata's eyes widened in surprise. "Sakura-chan!!!"
"Sasuke-kun told me you love each other, don't worry we got a divorce. I'm in a relationship with Kakashi." Hinata's eyes couldn't get bigger.
"Me and Naruto-kun too. We are getting a divorce. You and Kakashi-sensei hm? He always loved you. But why didn't you give Naruto-Kun a chance. You know he loved you since you were children." Hinata has all the politics to escape any question.
"I don't know, I could never imagine us romantically you know. The thought of him kissing me or… you know. It just doesn't make any sense. He is my best friend and he always will be. But nothing more than that. But you and Sasuke-kun? You could make it work after all these years hm? You should have told me years ago. I would have helped you."
"How could I? You are his wife?"
"I know what you think! But there was nothing between me and Sasuke-kun. I tried so hard to make him notice me but I guess he thinks of me as I think of Naruto. Until I fell in love with Kakashi. I learned what it felt like to love and be loved in return. He makes me very happy." the medic-nin came closer and whispered. "I was having a love affair with Kakashi all this time. "
"You know, me and Sasuke-Kun knew about it since you were pregnant!" Hinata blushed remembering seeing them kissing with her Byakugan.
"You knew that too? We should talk more like this, Hinata. It would have helped all of us." "But not Naruto-Kun!" Hinata said, looking down. "Don't worry about him, I'll talk to him."
"No, not now anyway! I think he needs some time to think about our divorce, I know it is not easy for him."
"I'm so happy for you Hinata and Sasuke-kun too. Finally he found someone to love, he changed so much since he knew you. I hope you make eachother happy. I want all of us to be friends. It's the best for us and the kids."
"I know Sakura-chan, I'm happy for you and the Sixth too. You are so perfect for eachother. " They smiled, happy to clear the air between them.
After Boruto and Sarada were back to the Land of Valleys. E173 And Naruto was permanently moved to the tower. Himawari had training at the Hyuga compound.
The Uchiha visited Hinata. They didn't see each other for a long two months. She was so happy to see him. She told him that she talked to Naruto about the divorce and that he understood after long negotiation that it is for the best.
Sasuke couldn't believe it was all over. There is nothing to stop him from being with her now.
He had a gift for her in his cloak.
"What is it?" She asked happily.
"Don't open it now, later… " but it was too late, she peeked slowly into the small red box. It was a luxurious black laced lingerie on a satin red fabric. She never thought the Uchiha would give her something like that. She thought it was chocolate. Naruto never bought her one, not even clothes. Her face turned tomato-red. How did he know her size?
" Sa.. Su.. Ke" she whimpered.
His eyes darkened as he came closer to her. She was in the kitchen preparing tea. Her right hand clutching on the countertop not to faint, the other still holding the box. He walked slowly behind her. Her heart started pounding in her chest and her breath stopped. What is he doing? She put the box slowly down.
He whispered in her ear "Wear it when you sign the papers. '' in a deep husky voice.
"o… ok" she was startled by his proximity. She understood what he meant. What will happen that day.
His two fingers traced the countertop where she was standing until it reached her hand, she felt her face burn and every cell in her body woke up expecting where his touch would be next.
She could move, pull her hand or say something but she didn't. Sasuke took it as a sign to go on, he traced along her stretched arm up until it reached her shoulder then her neck. She felt a shiver go down her spine. He tucked her hair to the side and got closer to her neck. His warm breath on her neck sent her goosebumps. "I can't wait anymore" he whispered in her ear with a deep voice. His loss of control sent butterflies in her abdomen. She could feel his hunger and his... sadness.
She almost fainted with anticipation when he answered her skin craving with a small kiss on her neck. She gasped at that and moved her head giving him more access to her soft spot.
She doesn't know what she is doing to him, his heart was pounding in his chest. He missed their intimacy. After their kiss they didn't get close. Adult Sasuke had more control of himself. He would wait, just a little bit more. But now with the news of her divorce, imagining her in that lingerie soon, his name whispered so softly, was too much for his self control. He wants to touch her now. He wants to feel her. To hear her say his name.
His body glued to her, he pushed his hand under her tops as he placed more kisses on her shoulder, then his tongue devouring every inch of her neck, she was panting and moaning in his hand that was on her flat stomach, making its way up. Why isn't she resisting him as he thought she would? He dreamed of touching her skin for so long. He wants more of her, more of this.
His hand crept under her blouse direction bra. Her skin was so soft under his rough fingers. He pushed her bra up and teased the underside of her breast with the back of his fingers. She shrugs and cried " Sasukeee" in a low whimper. It drove him crazy, that she moaned his name like this. She was gasping and moaning, making him lose control of himself.
He groaned and arched his back into her, clutching her boob to push her more into him. She could feel his tent poking her lower back, this aroused her only more and made her nipples hard. He pinched and kneaded them. His heavy breath, kisses and nibbles on her neck.

After his leave she took a long cold shower to calm herself down. What just happened? She couldn't stop thinking about it, every part of her he touched was still burning even after the cold shower. She tried to think of something else but she couldn't. She went to the Hyuga compound to get Himawari, she'll distract her.
Her father Hiashi wanted to see her. She must tell him about Naruto too. She met him at his office. She sat down on the tatami.
"Tou-sama, good that you have time, I want to tell you something important."
"Naruto moved out of the house?"
"How did you know?"
He raised his brows. "Someone saw his belongings being taken out of the mansion and told me. "
"We are getting a divorce." she said, ashamed looking at her hands on her knees.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier, he moved out weeks ago."
"I had a lot on my mind, Boruto was hurt and then with his intensive training, and everytime I came here I found you in meetings."
"Are you in a relationship with the Uchiha?" She was shocked. How did he know? It seems everyone knows about them.
"Yes" she was tomato-red from embarrassment.
"He helped you recover after his arrival, right?"
"He did. He was very concerned about my health. He trained me and helped me go back to my old hobbies. He is Boruto's sensei too and he is like a father to him which made him calmer and responsible. That made me happy too." she said getting excited and her hands fist in front of her heart.
Her father smiled " I'm happy for you Hinata, I wished you'd marry him when you build that house together. But you set me in mortification as you kissed Naruto in front of the moon in front of everybody. I couldn't say no to your relationship after that… and look what he did to you. He'll never change Hokage or not, you'll never be his priority and I'm glad you finally understood that…" he stood up and walked slowly to her. "I'll talk to the elders, I'm sure they'll understand that divorcing the Hokage is a personal matter and for your wellbeing. I want to see the Uchiha first. Let him see me tomorrow."
"o..ok tou-sama… thank you" tears fell from her eyes from joy and relief. His blessing meant the world to her. She never thought he'd be so understanding. He worried about her health too and was happy Sasuke had the ability and love to help her get over it.
She stood up out of respect, hugged him, bearing her face in his chest. He never was an affectionate father and never showed emotions or sentiment especially by touching or hugging. But she knows he was a father before being the Hyuga clan leader and he surely loves her and worries about her even as a grown up mother.
"Thank you very much father." still sobbing.
"Hinata, you gave me two beautiful grandchildren but I never gave you anything, the least I can do is make sure you are happy with the man you love before I die." he caresses her hair and hugs her back.
"Don't say that father you are still very young" she looked at him teasing and wiped her tears.
He chuckled. She smiled and moved to the kitchen to help prepare dinner, she'll stay here for the night.
In the morning she sent one of the guards with a note to their neighbour Sasuke Uchiha.
Hinata left with her daughter afterwards. She can't see him now, she is too embarrassed. She still has flashbacks of that kitchen intimacy.
Sasuke was feeding the fish as a note came from his neighbours. He told the guard he'll be there in an hour. What does Hiashi want? Is it about Hinata? It's for sure, she's the one who sent the note.
He prepared himself mentally for what he wanted to say to him and went to the Hyūga main residence. Hiashi waited for him in the meeting room.
"Sasuke-san, I know you have a relationship with my eldest daughter. While she is married! To the Hokage nonetheless" Hiashi said in a very firm tone, almost angry.
Sasuke was startled, he didn't prepare himself enough.
After a thoughtful moment.
"Hiashi-san, I want to marry Hinata." It's best to go straight to the point.
"You know she is married with kids, right? "
"I also know she is getting a divorce. Her kids are my kids, like my daughter Sarada, Boruto is my student too" he surely knows about the divorce.
"I know that, Hinata told me everything, thank you for helping her get better. She was lifeless before your arrival. You brought my daughter back from the dead. " Hiashi said in a warm tone, which surprised Sasuke. What is this turn of events?
"I want you to promise me not to be like your friend and to love and cherish my daughter, to never neglect her and always put her first. The kids too. I won't make the same mistake twice, I'll not give her to anyone unworthy of her."
Sasuke was touched by the father's love, he knew he would request the same thing for his own daughter too, someday.
"I promise Hiashi-san" and he nodded lightly with respect.
"You can call me otou-san... Sasuke," he said, with a little smile.
It was surprisingly a very pleasant conversation. Hiashi invited him for lunch too.
