Hi sorry this took so long (gets down on knees) please don't hate, I know I said I would update soon a month a go but I've been really busy. Me: Well they're going to a european tournament because that's where it's being held, and Percy and Annabeth already met Carter and Sadie in another story. But good question :)
Guest: Surprised they didn't bring Hecate especially for Percy and Hazel.
Me: Well Hecate is basically the head of their own ministry of magic (which is really just the Olympians) so it wouldn't be proper. But seeing as I didn't actually say that and I just thought of it in my head it's a smart question :)

Percy POV:
"Can I have your attention please" Dumbledore's deep voice called
I turned away from my conversation accidentally elbowing Jason's chest plate in the process.
"Shit" I cradled my bruised elbow "Man these things are hard"
(If this doesn't sound like what Dumbledore said in the book or movie sorry I haven't read/watched it in a really long time)
"I would like to thank our guests for joining us and participating in the tournament with us" He gave a polite nod towards the tables
"Now I present to you "The Goblet of Fire" " A giant golden goblet appeared with giant orange flames licking the rim. I could feel the heat coming from the goblet all the way from our table.
"Wow" Anabeth gasped no doubt admiring the details and engravings along the goblet.
"The one who wins this tournament has a chance to win glory and fame unlike any other"
At that a ripple of excitement traveled through the tables, I mean who doesn't want a chance at glory and fame. Oh right me, I'd honestly had enough fame and glory for one lifetime but I still didn't have a choice
Flash Back
"Son" I turned to see my dad standing on the shore of camp's lake
I had been going for a little swim after studying those weird spells with Anabeth. It was crazy that the gods thought that we could memorize all that stuff in a couple of weeks, I couldn't even memorize what was going to be on my exams let alone a bunch of random gibberish.
"Oh hey dad"
He was standing in his khaki bermuda shorts and a blue long sleeved collared shirt that was rolled up to his elbows, he had on dark brown flip flops and a fishing cap on his head that read "Poseidon's Junior Sea Scouts" his messy raven black hair that was longer than mine coming out of the sides of his hat.
A small smile played on his lips crinkles appearing by his eyes which sparkled with a mischievous gleam that always got me pegged as a trouble maker.
"I have something to ask of you" his smile dropped and became serious
"Whats up" I tossed my towel over my shoulder
"I know you do not wish to" he paused searching for the right word "be troubled by more quests or burdens but my brother" he glared at the sky "wishes for you, Jason and Nico to be the ones who enter the tournament"
I knew from experience that when Zeus "wishes" for something it really means "I demand for you to do this less you be smited for your insubordination"
I sighed but nodded
"I know this is a lot to ask of you but do not fear" He clapped my shoulder giving it a light squeeze and smirked at me "my favorite son out to make me proud eh"
End Flashback
"Now there are some rules" a groan escaped the students mouths
"This is only open to those of the age of 17 and older"
Shouts of disagreements were cried out
"QUIET" he called in a commanding voice "there is however an exception" he gestured towards me and my friends
"The Americans have different traditions so there is no age limit for them and" he paused as more people shouted about that being unfair
"Three of them shall be chosen"
None of us looked surprised, us as in the Americans. Our parents had already informed us of this and they not so secretly since ten people knew about it, rigged the cup to chose me Nico and Jason.
"You may continue with your meal" he finished as he sank back down into his chair.
Our piers looked at us in a mixture of awe and jealousy
We somehow managed to finish dinner and head to our "special" quarters which were really an extra room in the gryffindor house.
After I had showered I made my way to my room, my towel wrapped around my waist and water dripping from my hair.
I smiled when I saw the blonde sitting on my bed her knees tucked up to her chest and a book in her hands. She looked so beautiful and perfect sitting there a blonde curl falling off her ear and into her face.
"Hey" I made my way over to her and plopped down onto the bed
"Hmm, oh hi" she said without even looking up from her book.
"How you liking" I tilted the book to get a look at the cover, "The Name of The Wind"
"It's really good it's about this kid named Kvothe who's family is murdered by these-"
"Jeesh Wise Girl I asked if you were liking it not a summary"
She rolled her eyes and slapped me on my arm with the book, then turned to look at me. She raised her eyebrow
"Why aren't you dressed"
"Why, don't like what you see" I asked cockily flexing my muscles
She blushed but quickly hid it with a scowl
"Go get dressed then brush your teeth, your breath stinks"
I threw my arms up in annoyance
"Sorry mom"
"I'll take that as a compliment"
"Only you would" I mumbled
A few minutes later I was dressed in boxer shorts and my swim team shirt.
Annabeth exited the shower, her wet hair clinging to her form. She wore a grey tank top and black shorts
I pulled her on my lap and hugged her inhaling the smell of her lemon shampoo
I planted a light kiss on her forehead then rolled into bed and pulling the covers over me, she climbed in shortly after and snuggled up to my chest
I gently wrapped my arms around her pulling her closer to me, her head lay in the crook of my neck sending shivers down my spine every time she exhaled.
Now before you guys start freaking out, we weren't going to do anything inappropriate. We shared the same room ever since coming back from Tartarus when we started having nightmares of the place.
We were the only ones who could help each other so even Chiron allowed it.
"Good night Wise girl" I mumbled into her curls
"Night Seaweed Brain"
With that I drifted off into a peace full sleep
At least I wish I did
