Regina stared at her image in the full length mirror in her vault. She looked awful. Her hair was a mess and dark circles lined the space beneath her eyes. She sighed, running her hands through her hair. Her face was worn and full of sorrow.

"Get it together, Regina," she said, scolding herself. She sat down on the small sofa and began to pull on her panty hose. As she slipped her foot into the scrunched end, she heard the heavy door to the mausoleum slide across the stone floor and footsteps above her. She stood up, preparing herself for whoever was coming to disturb her. The footsteps began to descend the steps. She assumed it was Emma, trying to apologize again for bringing Marion back. She was the only one who knew where Regina had been hiding.

"Emma, I told you I do not want your apology. Please just leave me alone." She said, turning away from the entrance of the vault. As the intruder's footsteps stooped, she could smell him. He smelled of the forest. It was not Emma. Her heart felt as if it stopped as the scent filled her nose. That smell was something that used to make her heart skip a beat and her world calm, now it felt like a weight. She continued to look at the wall before her. His leather jacket creaked as he folded his arms. She focused her breathing as she heard him come closer to her. Her eyes slipped closed.

"Regina," he whispered. She shook her head. She could not let herself look at him or speak. She would lose all control.

"Please, look at me," he begged. Her eyes began to fill with tears.

"I can't," she whispered, her voice trembling. His footsteps shuffled and before she knew it his arms were around her. She tried to pull away but his hold on her tightened.

"Please, just let me go," she begged, her tears falling freely down her cheeks.

"Regina," he whispered again, his lips close to her ear. He turned her around, making her face him. She looked down, refusing eye contact. A rough finger touched her chin, pulling her head up to meet his gaze. A tear slipped down her cheek and he gently brushed it away with his thumb. He pulled her in and placed a gentle kiss on her soft lips. She melted into the kiss and pressed her lips harder into his. She suddenly flung open her eyes and pushed him away.

"No, we cannot. You need to be with your wife while I figure out how to cure her!" she exclaimed, moving further away from him. Robin moved toward her, pausing when she held her hand to him.

"I cannot sit with her all day long. She is asleep and safe in your office, but Regina, I need to be here."

Regina shook her head.

"No, you do not. You made a vow. You made that clear," she replied, sitting on the chaise. Robin crossed the space between them and sat next to her. He grabbed her hand, she wanted to pull away, but he tightened his grip.

"I did, but I no longer feel that way. I love her, yes but only as the mother of my child. The love I felt for her died with her. When she was cursed I was worried that Roland would lose his mother again, but I was almost relieved. It meant I could be with you. I need you to know, Regina, I am in love with you and I want you, only you." He reached up, touching her chin and pulled her face up to look at him. Her eyes brimmed with tears. He leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. Her entire body melted at the touch of his soft lips. She groaned softly. Her belly began to fill with fire. Her mind raced with confusion and passion. She wanted to pull away from him, but she could not make her body follow the command. Instead, she moved her arms to wrap them around his neck, pulling him closer to her. Robin shifted his weight to lay her back on the chaise. Regina quickly found herself trying to remove his vest and shirt. Her fingers nimbly unbuttoned both garments and they found themselves on the concrete floor. Robin moved his hands to her waist where her shirt was neatly tucked into her skirt. He gripped the crisp white fabric and pulled it free. Regina quickly unbuttoned the small clear buttons as Robin pushed the shirt over her shoulders and it fell to the floor. Her perfectly round breasts laid in contrast to the red satin material of her bra. He grabbed the front closure of the garment and with one nimble movement her breasts sprung free as the bra opened with a snap. As his hands moved to push the straps over her shoulders, his lips traveled down her jaw, over her collarbone to her breasts. He smiled as she gasped in ecstasy. She arched her back, pressing her breasts closer to him. She wanted him, needed him. She whispered his name, begging for more. Robin lifted himself up onto his knees, pulling her up with him. He reached behind her bottom and unzipped her skirt. She lifted slightly, allowing him the room to remove it. He hooked his fingers on both the waist of her skirt and the red satin panties, then slid them down her legs. She was bare before him. Her skin felt like fire beneath his gaze. He made a guttural moan as he took in all of her. She reached for him, and he obliged. He kissed her with everything he had.

"Please," she begged. Robin chuckled darkly. He pulled away and stood. He pulled his pants off and kicked them across the room. Regina laid back, her legs opening for him. Robin groaned at the sight of her. His body responded more as he grew harder. It was almost painful, and he knew he would explode if he didn't feel her around him soon. He placed himself at her center and looked down at her, asking permission once again with his eyes. She looked up at him, her hips raising up to get him to enter. He leaned over, placing her hands on the armrest beneath her head and pushed forward, burying himself completely in her warmth. She gasped and dug at his shoulders. She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him deeper into her. They moved as one, their moans a chorus of love and pure wanton need. He captured her lips in a kiss as he quickened his pace and moved harder and faster as he felt her muscles began to quiver around him. He couldn't hold out much longer. Suddenly she yelled out in pleasure as her core exploded around him. She came with such force that she lifted both of them from the chaise. That was enough for him to climax. He pushed deeper into her, as her muscles milked every last drop of him. He collapsed onto her, sweat drenching their bodies.

As their breathing began to return to normal, Robin pulled away from her. She looked stunning, lying there glistening with sweat and filled will pleasure. Her eyes fluttered open then she sprang up.

"What does this mean, Robin?" she asked. Robin sighed, running his hand through his hair. He honestly had no idea what this meant for them. He wanted to tell her that it was over with Marian, but he couldn't. He knew he needed to be with her, for Roland. Regina could see it in his face. She understood. She reached out pulling his gaze to hers.

"I know. It can only be tonight." she whispered, kissing him gently. Robin nodded and laid her down, lying behind her.

"But we have all night," he whispered. Regina smiled, turning to him.

"That we do," she whispered.
