Chapter 10 (United Nations Plan)
U.N HQ in New York, Manhattan, United States of America
"The city that never sleeps" as they said about the New York and the main headquarters for the United Nations, were the global leaders held the international meetings when one nation is in their internal crisis or needing a support from another country due to financial situation and natural disasters, they immediately takes action to it. This is the place were the world become United under in one banner that happened in 2039.
After the 3 global rival superpowers which is the United States of America, Russian Federation, and lastly China. They cease their hostility towards each other, instead they focused on important matters like terrorism, corruption and many more, for the sake of greater good.
Briefing Room
The secretary general of the united nations named Rosenberg were seated on the chair with his fingers intertwined, in front of him in the table were 5 chairs with people wearing black suits.
"How should we proceed sending our delegation?" The female German representative with reading glasses asked Rosenberg.
Rosenberg think for the second, then replies.
"I will asemble them as soon as possible ma'am Frutz, but in terms of transportation we will use the submarine aircraft carrier codename:'Atlas'." He answered the German whom named Frutz.
"Should we send in the whole fleet?" The male Russian representative from Moscow asked.
"Not yet sir Korpov, it might overwhelmed them and to think that we are invading them, that could cause international problems in the future. And one submarine aircraft carrier is enough."
Korpov hummed in acknowledgement.
"I've received an intel regarding to that matter, we discovered that a building resembles to an nuclear power plant in that world, this could be an evidence of human existance regarding from Dr. Hiro's theory. Is it true?" The male Chinese representative asked, more like an interview.
"Yes that is true. In fact, General Paul sends an authorization letter regarding that nuclear power plant. And I authorize his letter." Rosenberg said earning a nods from the representatives from other 5 nations.
"How about our animal friends that they recently captured? And nearly to be captured by the natives." A male Japanese representative asked.
"They are in good condition, their needs are sufficient from what we provided in that facility, until their blood samples is complete. We will be able to transfer them to another more comfortable cell. Until then, we can invite them to Earth together with their delegation." Rosenberg said.
"Is that even necessary?" A female American representative asked.
"Of course, since they are the first animals to witness the human existence in their world. After that, we will bring them back to their world after their delegation established ties with U.N here on Earth." He explained.
"What do you mean by that?" The Japanese asked.
"What I mean is, after we established our diplomatic friendship with the Zootopians. We will invite them to our United Day Parade and then to the diplomatic friendship at the same day, as a sign of future of unity even with such show off of our military." Rosenberg said to them as the representative from other 5 nations that participating in the exploration in the world of Zootopia.
United day is the day were all of the nations became peace at each other, either their way of life, communism or capitalism. It doesn't matter anymore to them, what they need is unity and extermination of terrorism and corruption.
The nations of the world is tired of fighting one after another, that will cost a lot of innocent lives incase the scenario of escalating conflicts in the past.
The United Day Parade is being held at Paris, France. The day of August 19-25 1944, after the liberation of France by the allies from the Wehrmacht, they celebrated with military parade from Champs Élysées were each year the United Day was celebrated.
Of course, this parade have a length of a day for each parade to all selected nations that will be participate.
Back to Zootopian world
Nick shot his eyes open as he could see orange skies and distant explosions including the strange small explosions like a balloon being popped in the distance.
Standing from the ground and look to his self to see he was wearing a police uniform which he noticed strange. Setting them aside he looked to his surroundings to see buildings on fire with large holes and the screams of the animals trapped inside of it. Looking to the left, he could see that what supposed to be the headquarters of ZPD was now in rubbles.
Dead bodies of different animals in shaped and sizes in police uniform laying there with their motionless wide eyes and holes in their chest, legs, head and missing body parts were their bloods coming out, even some of the body parts laying close to him.
It was gruesome as he hold his mouth with his paws trying not to vomit at the scene in front of the fox.
Then he heard a screeching sound at the distance. It was so loud that enough to cover his ears.
Looking up to the orange skies, he could see strange arrow-head like aircrafts flying above him in vic formation. They're were many of them.
Minutes later after the aircrafts left, a distant voice was heard.
"Nick!"
He heard a familiar female voice at the distance.
"Nick! Help!"
Looking around him trying to pinpoint were the sound coming from, but still fruitless due to the ringing sounds of that odd aircrafts flying above earlier.
After another cry of help was heard Nick manages to find the source only to see...
Judy.
Under the pile of debris of an wall. He run at full fours. Nick came to Judy as he tries to move the rubble above the rabbit.
"JUDY! Hold on! I'm gonna get you out!" He said.
"Please! Hurry! I can't breathe!" Judy said as she cough multiple times due to the dust.
Nick use all of his energy to move the debri, but it was useless. Looking around to see a broken police cruiser with blinking lights of familiar red and blue.
He think of a solution that could solve this.
"Judy I'll be right back! Don't worry!" He said.
"Please Hurry!"
With that he gave her a soft nod then starts running on all fours to the police cruiser.
After Nick reach the cruiser, he immediately opened the trunk then began to search for the useful tool to help Judy.
Until he finds an jack the one it uses for lifting the car when changing flattened tires. This will come in handy.
When he closed the trunk, he heard a low roared of an engine, he frozed on spot unable to move. Slowly averting his eyes, he could see a two glowing eyes at the distance but unable to identify due to the huge black smoke blocking his view. Minutes later he heard multiple crushing sounds like a squeezed cans or maybe cars.
After the smoke cleared his view, his eyes widened with his maw slightly drooped in shock. A giant odd vehicle with the same glowing red eyes and looks like a trunk of an elephant pointing at him, with antenna to its head... And from the looks of it, it was purely made in metal.
Behind of this vehicle were figures of an unknown animal. They're were many of them.
"THERE IS A SURVIVOR! OPEN FIRE!" One of them ordered as they aimed their strange rifles.
Nick remembered what those are capable of, putting everyone into sleep like an tranquilizer. Until...
BANG
Nick felt a sudden sharp pain through his chest, slowly looking at the source he could see blood starting to come out from his uniform... He was shot.
The red fox slowly collapse to the ground as he grunts upon touching the ground.
Nick positioned himself towards Judy and started to crawl slowly, even he felt the sharp pain on his chest. He stills continue to crawl to Judy in hope to see her and says his last words before he dies.
But fate have other options...
The strange giant machine with glowing red eyes slowly make its way were Judy was trapped, while crushing several cars that standing its way.
Nick slowly reached out his right paw were Judy is.
"N-No please!" His plea fell on the deaf ears.
The unknown animals were now standing beside Nick which he noticed this figures wearing tactical gear are humans.
One of the human crouch beside Nick.
"Watch how we take your little friend life." The human said through his balaclava with the voice of a male.
The red-eyed machine was so close to Judy's, as she tries to get out of the rubble using her small paws.
Nick's sense of earing was slowly began to fade out, only to hear muffled cries of the bunny that was going to be crushed by the tracked machine.
Until his only could see and hear was the last cry of Judy then a squishing sound like a watermelon being rolled over by a car.
With a tear he slowly looked to the human beside him.
"Y-You!-" He was cut off by the human.
"As expected." The human in tactical uniform said as he slowly reached his right hand to the pistol from his holster, then aimed at Nick's head.
"Goodbye Officer Wilde." With that last words from the human a flash was the only sight Nick could see followed by the familiar bang.
Then black out...
Nick wakes up with a gasp.
Looking at his surroundings, he was still in the room but more comfortable.
He reached his paw to the light in the nightstand that was provided by the humans after they are negative to the results of possible diseases.
Nick sighed in relief when his emerald eyes landed on the bed away from his bed with the familiar sleeping figure with its ears flattened behind her.
"It was all a dream." He mumbled as he placed his paw on his chest to calm his raising hearth beat.
Minutes later he calmed himself, he turned off the lights and returned to sleep.
