"Any idea who's signal we're intercepting?" Cloud asked.
"None whatsoever." Tony said as he was already quite far ahead in his suit trying to find the signal, "We didn't really think of making that a feature. Didn't want the bad guys trying to pick us off by attacking the guys they can counter."
"Good grief." Cloud sighed, "Well, do you have any idea how long until we can get to them?"
"By my estimates, it'll be a solid eight hours for the Death Star, even at top speeds."
"What if you go on ahead?" Cloud asked, "The Death Star can track your signature and follow behind."
"I can get there in two and a half. Maybe two if I push it. Do you think it's worth a shot?"
"Hey. Anything's worth a shot if it can get us closer to figuring out this whole mess. Maybe we'll find Strange or Fate."
"Or maybe we'll find Doomsday or Sephiroth." Tony countered.
"Well, whoever we find, it can't be a bad find." Cloud pointed out.
"True. I'll move on ahead. See if they're in trouble. If I'm not back in two hours, then there's definitely some issues going on."
"Roger that, Tony. Let's save some lives."
"How well can you hold up?" He-Man asked Glacius, "You know, the option of shedding your initial shell and using the surrounding lava is still an option."
"I would rather not. I have grown accustomed to this frigid shell. In addition," Glacius struggled to keep several pieces of himself together, "My body is severely injured and needs medical attention."
"What?" She-Ra asked, "Why didn't you say so earlier?"
"Well, what could've we done with that info?" Bowser asked, "It's not like we can just use healing magic. That's not in my arsenal, and I doubt that it's in yours."
She-Ra looked away. Angry that she couldn't help her friend, "Do you think that a rescue will come soon?"
"Have hope, Adora." He-Man said, "The best thing we can do in these times is to hold onto hope and not despair."
"Right. Thanks, brother."
"I swear, that sounds like something Peach would say." Bowser snorted, "But… I guess some of her cake would be nice."
"What about her tea?"
Bowser looked at the boiling lava at the base of the mountain that the four were on, and shook his head, "I think I've had enough hot stuff for a while now."
"I can understand that at least." Glacius 'muttered', "But for now we must-"
"UUUURRRRHHHGGGGHHHHHH!"
"What was that?" She-Ra worryingly asked.
"It wasn't my stomach, that's for sure." Bowser replied as he readied a battle stance.
"I'd rather it be your stomach." He-Man replied as he also readied a fighting stance, "Glacius, do you believe that you can remain out of danger?"
"I won't be a burden on this battle, if that's what you're asking."
"That's a lesser concern. Our first one is your safety."
"Speak for yourself, She-Ra. I've been itching for some action!" Bowser snarled.
Soon, a giant snake-like beast appeared out of the lava, and started thrashing the surrounding area, including demolishing mountains, and consuming the rocks it was eating. The air around its body was distorted from the heat. Upon closer observation, He-Man and She-Ra realized that it was generating the heat that was causing the distorted air around its body.
"That doesn't seem possible!" He-Man exclaimed.
"We've seen the impossible before, Adam" She-Ra replied, "This seems very possible."
"I don't think that your fire breath would do much Bowser." He-Man pointed out, "And the fact that we lack reliable ranged options may also be a factor."
"That assumes that those options do not melt before they get close." Glacius added, "I can feel the heat from here."
"There are innocent animals here, Glacius. We can't just abandon them." She-Ra pointed out.
"I wasn't suggesting it. But we have to consider our options. It is either all of existence, or them."
"Look. I'm not a strategist. But unless one of you is going to come up with a plan of attack, I'm taking a page out of Iron Man's book and just using 'Attack.'" Bowser snarled, "That thing might think we're an appetizer."
" …"
"Glacius was that you?" He-Man asked. Much to his surprise, Glacius shook his head.
"… ere!"
"Was that a signal? Out here? With all this heat interfering with our communicators?" She-Ra questioned.
"…ang… on!"
"Wait a second… That voice sounds familiar." Bowser realized.
The others realized the familiarity of the voice as well, and they looked to the skies to see a figure blasting the snake-like lava creature, halting its rampage and causing its attention to be turned onto the incoming figure.
The figure looked around and launched several missiles at the creature, managing to stun it long enough for it to fall over itself and into a lake of lava. The figure was definitely red and gold colored, and looked around before flying to their location to reveal-
"Did someone call for an Avenger?"
"Iron Man!" He-Man realized, "It is good to see you again." He said as he hugged his friend.
"Good to see you guys too. Glacius, what's up? You don't look too good."
"It is nothing Stark." He replied, "Just some injuries that some Senzu Beans won't fix up."
"Well, that'll have to wait. Cloud's on his way with the Death Star, and he won't be here for another six hours. The planet will be too unstable and will liquidize into magma in eight. Think we can hold out long enough for him to get here?"
"It's not just that, Tony." She-Ra explained, "There are other lifeforms on this planet. Animals and plants that somehow adapted to this environment. We can't just abandon them."
"Also, I believe that it would liquidate into lava, not magma. Magma is-"
"I know Glacius. I know. But can it really be lava when that's what the planet is?"
"I guess that would depend on how you define it." Glacius admitted, "So, we have six hours to gather animals and protect them, and after that, two hours to get them on board the Death Star to hopefully transfer them to another planet."
"I saw a planet that had a lot of active volcanoes on my way here. Maybe they could stay there."
"Sounds like a plan."
"Finally. A plan. And here I was thinking that we only had one plan of attack." Bowser said as he pointed to the lava worm that was getting up and was very clearly enraged.
"Magmatic rescue then. Alright then, time to Hero Up!"
