And... we're back after a two-three month break. I hope you've been eagerly anticipating the newest chapter, because here it is right now!

The camera opens up on a frisbee flying through the air. The bright red disc sails slowly towards the ground, only to be caught by Geoff.

He then hurls it into the air, watching as it sails above the beach. Cody tries to catch it, only for DJ to grab it instead.

The camera pans out to show that Geoff, DJ, Cody, and Tyler are enjoying the rare hot Canadian summer day.

Sitting in deck chairs, Sadie and Beth are watching in amusement as Tyler is bonked on the head by the frisbee for the tenth time that game.

Harold, Courtney, Eva, and Noah are absent, no doubt trying to beat the heat another way... though, for the latter, not for long.

Noah soon appears, holding a book. He sits in a lawn chair to read, until he notices Cody. He attempts to wave at his friend... only to remember that they weren't friends anymore.

Noah sighs sadly, and was just about to unenthusiastically read, when the intercoms screeched into life.

As Harold walks into frame, Chris' voice filters out of the speakers. "Good afternoon, campers! It's challenge time! Meet at the arts and crafts shed in two minutes!"

"The arts and crafts... what?", said Cody, scratching his chin.

Courtney and Eva walked into frame as well. "There is no 'arts and crafts shed' here in camp.", said Courtney.

"Course there is. It's the building at the edge of the woods.", said Chris, irritably.

"You mean that shack where all the tools are?", said Sadie.

"It is not a tool shack.", said Chris, angrily. "Just... meet there in one minute."

Cut to all the campers standing around said shack. Chris is standing near the door to inside the shed.

"You mean, you campers have never actually made a craft in this building?", said Chris. "That's what it's here for; as part of the authentic summer camp experience."

"If it's not part of a challenge, I'm not doing it.", growled Eva.

Chris sighed. "Today's challenge will be a dirt bike race. The first part will entail everyone using the supplies in the shed to make their own bicycle. You can use anything in the shed that you desire."

He opened the door, revealing shelves of metal supplies... as well as a large chopper motorcycle.

"What's with the chopper?", said Tyler.

"Hm? Oh, it's just where Chef keeps it until the end of the competition.", said Chris, already walking away. "You have til the end of the afternoon to complete your bike's."

As most of the campers set about grabbing supplies from the shelves, Courtney and Eva stare at the chopper... then grin devilishly at each other.

Cody is soon hard at work making the frame of his bike, using copious amounts of duct tape and glue. Cody wipes his brow, then reaches for the next tool he needs.

He gropes around for it, only to realize it's gone. He looks around, only for the tool to be dangled in front of his face.

He looks up to see Noah. "Hey, need a hand?", said Noah, somewhat awkwardly.

"Not from you.", glares Cody, snatching the tool and going back to his work.

"Look, I know things ended pretty badly between us...", began Noah, only for Cody to get up in his face.

"You were just using me for my vote!", he angrily declares. "We were never friends to begin with, so there was nothing to end."

"Look, I didn't just hang out with you for your vote!", said Noah, now angry. "I really liked you... as a friend!", he hastily added.

"Yeah, well, so did I.", said Cody, darkly, before going back to his bike.

Noah looks like he's about to say something, then thinks better of it, and wanders off miserably.

Cody watches him go... then sighs miserably himself.

Cut to Geoff, DJ, and Tyler, all three of which are nearly finished with their bikes.

DJ, looking extremely nervous, pokes his flimsily crafted bicycle. It shudders dangerously, but stays intact.

"So, have any of you two gotten into... I don't know, a bike accident?", gulped DJ, chuckling nervously.

"Oh, yeah, tons dude.", said Geoff, in good humor. "Once I went over my handlebars; ripped the skin off my knee so much that I needed skin grafts."

DJ begins to shake in terror.

"Oh, that's nothing.", said Tyler, proudly. "I flipped off into a water tank once, broke both my legs and my arms."

Geoff and DJ gave each other nervous glances. "You mean, you couldn't... do anything for a whole month?", asked Geoff.

"A whole month? I wish! I was bed ridden for a whole year. Then, there was the time I fell into a lake, got tangled in my bike..."

Cut to much later, as Tyler finishes his long list of bicycle accidents. "... then, after my third coma, I hit a barbed wire fence, and that was the end of bicycling for me... the doctor's told me to quit."

Geoff is shivering, while DJ looks like he's about to puke.

As Tyler goes back to his bike, Geoff and DJ look at their poorly made vehicles.

"More duct tape, dude?", said Geoff.

"Way ahead of you, dude.", said DJ, pulling out three or four rolls.

Cut to Sadie and Beth chatting as they completed their bikes, with Courtney and Eva working diligently nearby.

Courtney winks to Eva, who smiles maniacally and walks off.

Sadie and Beth are startled by the sudden sound of power tools. They look up to see Eva returning from Chef's chopper with the engine taken out.

"How... did you get that out?", said Sadie, awed.

"My uncle's a mechanic.", said Eva, as Courtney works to implant the engine into one of their bikes. "Taught me everything he knows. Piece of cake."

"But, won't that give you, like, an unfair advantage?", said Beth, bitterly.

"Oh, is the poor baby afraid that we'll get immunity yet again?", said Courtney, mockingly, as Eva snickers. "Chris said we could use every thing in the shack to build our bikes."

Sadie and Beth could only glare.

(Sadie): Like, something has to be done about those two conceited brats! Real soon, too.

Cody stands up, admiring his handiwork on the bike. Apart from Eva and Courtney's engine enhanced bikes, this is by far the best made one.

Cody hears footsteps from behind, and turns to see Noah returning once again.

The schemer holds out an oil can. "Here, this will help the joints in your bike move more smoothly."

Cody takes it, and shakes the can. "There is only a little bit left. You could've used this to oil up your own bike."

"I know, but I didn't.", said Noah, as Cody turned to oil up his bike.

"I've... never won anything.", said Noah, sadly. Cody turns to his former friend. "When you live in a house with eleven other siblings, you can get lost in the mix sometimes."

"I'm an only child.", said Cody. "I would kill to have a family as big as that."

Noah raised an eyebrow, as if he had never had this perspective. "Look, I'm sorry for using you. I guess my desire to come out on top for once got the better of me."

He walked off, as Cody stared after him.

It was the end of the afternoon. Chris was walking through the group of contestants with a clipboard.

He walked up to Geoff and DJ's first. The two contestants had put pillows all around their bikes, as well as wearing some form of armor made from scrap metal.

"Seriously expected a lot more from you guys.", said Chris, who then passed to Tyler. Tyler's was held together by copious amounts of duct tape, but not to the extent of Geoff and DJ's. "Adequate work.", Chris eventually conceded, shrugging.

Chris then came upon Beth and Sadie. Their bikes were bright pink, and had such stuff as glitter on it.

Chris raised an eyebrow. "What do you want from us? We're girly girls.", said Beth, confidently.

Chris gave a thumbs way up, however, to Cody, Noah, and Harold's bikes. "Well done, boys."

Cody high-fived Harold, then after a moment's hesitation high fived Noah.

"However, as good as these three bikes are, they pale in comparison to Courtney and Eva's.", said Chris, pointing to the duo in question.

Although Courtney's bike lacked an engine, it was still just as good as Eva's mechanical marvel.

"OK, now on to phase two.", announced Chris. "We will all participate in a race around the island. The four contestants who cross the finish line first, will move on to phase three of the challenge."

Yep, I'm not doing the whole 'switching bikes around, but whichever bike crosses the finish line first, their creator goes to the final phase, rather than who was currently driving it".

That just seems... a bit too convoluted to keep track of.

Cut to the beach of the island, where all the campers are lined up with their bikes in front of a starting line.

"On your marks...", said Chris, holding up a checkered flag. "Get set... Go!!!"

Eva's motobike lets out a roar of engine power, and shoots forward, spraying dust on the other campers.

It isn't long before Eva returns from behind, having finished the race in record time.

As the rest of the campers look at her in awe, Eva says, "Need me to do it again?'

"And Eva secures a place in phase three.", says Chris. "The rest of you better hurry it up."

Breaking out of the trance by Eva's win, the other campers move forward. Soon, they are all out of sight... that is, except Geoff and DJ.

Both the added weight of their pillows and their own caution after Tyler's horror stories, the two are moving at a snail's pace.

Further down the racetrack, Courtney is in the lead. A few minutes behind her, Noah, Cody, and Harold are trying to keep up.

Harold, covered in sweat, suddenly grasps at his heart, and falls behind.

Cody and Noah push forward, soon followed by Tyler.

Bad luck, however, follows Tyler everywhere, even if he was until now making good time.

The dust from the bikes in front of him starts to cloud his vision . He coughs, and begins to weave in and out.

Eventually, the dust mysteriously vanishes. Tyler sighs in relief, only to realize he had gone up a natural ramp up onto the cliffs overlooking the beach.

Tyler begins to panic. Down below, Courtney hears this, and looks up in confusion. Her momentary distraction, however, causes Noah and Cody to overtake her.

Back at the finish line, Chris waves his checkered flag, as Cody and Noah passes the finish line.

Courtney puts on a burst of speed, but for naught.

Up above, Tyler hits some rocky ground. His bike falls mostly apart, leaving only a unicycle like contraption behind. He weaves straight off the cliff.

Seeing this, Courtney puts on the brake, barely missing Tyler as he crashes onto the finish line!

"And Tyler makes it to Phase 3, along with Eva, Noah, and Cody!", says Chris.

"I won? I won!!!", yelled Tyler, jumping up with joy.

Courtney gets off her bike, growling with the ferocity of a tiger. Eva snickers nearby.

"What was that?", demanded Courtney of Eva. Eva whistles nonchalantly in response.

(Eva): What? Just because we're allies now, doesn't mean I just forgot that we were once bitter enemies.

Sunset. The four remaining campers in the challenge are lines up at a new racetrack on the beach. The other campers are watching from the clifftops.

"Phase three of today's challenge will be considerably more... life-threatening than before.", explained Chris. "First, you will navigate sand dunes filled with land mines, then go through an oil spill, and finally jump across a tank filled with flesh eating piranhas."

To Chris' disappointment, the four campers had become desensitized to these dangerous challenges. Noah even yawned.

"Oh, and before I forget to mention, whoever is the last person to cross this race's finish line will be eliminated. No vote, no marshmallows, your goose is cooked."

This seemed to have the effect of putting the fear of the lord in the campers.

Chris chuckled darkly, then raised his flag. "Go!!!", he yelled, dropping the flag.

The four shot forward on their respective bikes. Eva, like before, clearly had the advantage with her motor.

She weaved in and out of the sand dunes with ease.

"Eat my dust, suck..." Eva was cut off from her taunting when she hit a concealed mine. Her bike in pieces, she flew through the sky, flaming.

The now three campers managed to escape the dunes.

At the oil spill, Tyler bike once again began to fall apart. Tyler did several moves to keep his bike in one piece that would make any ballet dancer envious, only to fall into the oil nonetheless.

As Noah and Cody neared the tank of piranhas, Cody realized that Noah was falling behind.

He looked to see Noah barely even pedaling. The schemer winked at the geek.

Cody looked forward to the tank... then ground to a halt with his brakes.

A shocked Noah shot past him, over the tank, and past the finish line.

Chris waved his flag victoriously. "And Noah wins!"

Noah, still in shock, watched as Cody pushed his bike over the line.

"But... I was going to let you win?", said Noah.

"Eh, I'll let you in on a little secret.", said Cody. "My families' already pretty well off. I just joined this summer camp to meet some actual friends... and girls."

Noah chuckled, as Chris walked up. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news.", said Chris, grinning like a mad man. "But since Eva and Tyler are now unable to complete the bike race without actual bikes, Cody is technically the last person to cross the finish line."

Noah and Cody gasped, as did everyone else... including Chef.

"Hey, that's not fair! You're just making this up as you go along.", said Noah.

"And your point is?"

Noah looked bitterly at the host, until Cody said, "Hey, it's OK. I'm just glad I made it to this point, and made really great friends."

Noah smiled.

At sunset, the remaining nine campers bid ado to Cody, giving him fist bumps and high fives, until they watched his boat sail away.
