Total Drama Grand Prix Update 3
"Okay, what the hell was up with that screwup last time!?" Margaret says as she argues with someone over the phone. "I mean, what's so hard about Molly that you mix it up and use my name instead?" The person on the phone tries to retort, but Margaret doesn't want to hear it, "You have an hour to pack your things and leave the area before…" The phone went silent and Margaret shrugs, "Looks like he got the message. Margaret then sees the camera on and faces it, "Sorry about that folks. Little personal issue due to a mix up in names last update which will be rectified by the end of the update. Speaking of which, let's get started."
The screen the goes blue and shows an old lady who's very short, and a little chubby. She has gray curly hair and green round eyes. She is wearing white shirt, brown pants, white shoes, and a purple necklace. Margaret then starts to speak again, "First off is Francesca Jumbo. An old bat from Canada who was a former survivalist and alligator wrestler. After getting old, she retired…to take up a new life as truck driver in monster truck derbies. Best Retirement Plan EVER!" Margaret squeals in joy, but sees the camera and composes herself, "Anyway…"
The screen changes to show a Megladon Monster Jam truck with big tires and a shark-like appearance, "She'll be driving a monster truck shaped like a shark, a design choice I can relate to. The truck as expected, is strong and durable, but has trouble steering and drifting, again, as expected. It should also come as no surprise that she wants to compete in the Survival Cup, which I'll allow. In fact, I wouldn't mine having an interview with her," Before anything else can be said, Izzy shows up in black ninja garb in front of Margaret, and starts moving stealthily, "Izzy, what are you doing?" Margaret asks in a deadpan tone.
Izzy replies in broken English, "The master, is who, I'm trying to find. For she, has proven, to be my match."
Slightly angry, Margaret says, "Well, stop looking for this 'master' and look for Francesca, where on a schedule here!"
"Ha, Ha, Ha! But it is, I Francesca, who is, the master." Francesca says, also in black ninja garb as she suddenly appears behind Margaret.
"AAAH!" Margaret yelps in shock.
"Well done master." Izzy says as she bows to Francesca and vice versa.
"Thank you, my pupil." Francesca replies, "But now,"
RIP! Both Izzy and Francesca rip off their ninja garb and Francesca shouts,
"Let's have some fun!" Francesca and Izzy jump in the truck and speed up and take the truck to who knows where. Margaret just looks at the scene, dumbfounded, and asks,
"Why didn't I go with them?" but then composes herself and continues, "Well, with our 'interview' done tonight, let's continue."
The screen changes to the next contestant, a young skinny Hispanic who's 5 foot 8 and has black wavy hair and black round eyes. He is wearing a yellow shirt with orange stripes, black shorts, black and yellow sneakers with orange socks, and orange wristbands. He also has freckles on his face and two war pain lines on both of his cheeks. Margaret then introduces him, "Next, we have Quinton Type, a Canadian who's all about speed. He does everything fast. From brushing his teeth, eating, and especially, He always has to be the fastest, consequences be dammed. Wonder what that says about his dating life." Margaret deadpans at the last part before the screen does another transition,
The screen now shows a yellow 296 GTB Ferrari with mid-rear-engines, two-seats, and tires with silver stars on it. Margaret then continues, "He'll be driving a GTB Ferrari, which I have to say is pretty sweet. The Ferrari has great speed and can even do a few tricks, but the tires are a major weak point, and it apparently can't take a lot of hits. A common trait for those who are part of the Speed Cup. Which is weird since Quinton may have better luck in the Famous Cup, but hey, his funeral." Margaret shrugs at the last sentence and the screen moves on to someone else.
The person looks to be a twenty-year-old woman who's five foot eight, has oval green eyes and frizzy shoulder-length hair, and a lanky build. She's wearing a bright green dress with designs of different car parts and tools on it with a black-and-white checkered belt, along with dark red heels and silver gear-shaped earrings. She is also carrying a comically large red faux leather handbag full of tools. It's also housing a five foot long with light orange scales and dark rusty colored spots and has a weirdly cartoonish tail. Margaret then speaks yet again, "Next up is Amelia Sizzle and her pet snake Maisy. Amelia is a curious girl who's interested to learn able everything this world has to offer and is afraid to help others to do the same. Whether or not they want to learn." Margaret whispers the last sentence but continues, "As for her snake, it looks like this snake is smart enough to give her master tools and even drive a bus. I wonder if the snake is looking for a side job?"
The screen transitions again to a yellow school bus that has been outfitted with more durable tires and a reinforced frame likely for racing. Margaret then continues, "Amelia's vehicle is the Hypothebus. Lame pun, I'll admit. But it makes up for it with rocket boosters, retractable tailfins, and a compartment for a bunch of sneaky gadgets like smoke bombs and rail spikes. The bus itself seems to be highly durable, but is a major sitting duck, which may end up hurting her since she wants to keep in the Survival Cup. By the way, I'm glad to see a bunch of variety for our first cup."
The screen transitions to the last contestant. He has blond hair to the shoulders that is tied into a ponytail. He has big blue eyes, warm ivory skin, and looks to have a strong build. He's wearing a denim overall with a white t-shirt and a wide belt. He's also wearing a cap and has glasses. Margaret then introduces him, "Our final competitor for the evening is Albert Handerson. One…" Before Margaret could say anything more, she gets a phone call and quickly speaks into it, "I'm running the updates here…Uh huh…Yeah…But we agreed on drivers only…Both of them are going to drive it…This isn't Don's show…Urrrgh. Fine. But we're going to talk about this later."
Margaret hangs up the phone and talks to the audience, "Sorry everyone, that was the producers telling me that since we added Vince and Molly(That's her real name, Praise the Lord.) They said to include Albert's twin since they submitted together. I was only going to choose Albert since he the one driving, but they have their minds made up. But to be clear from now on, if any duos are submitted and one of them isn't driving, then the non-driving person must do something to warrant their need to be there. Including navigation, weapons deployment, even distraction is good enough. But to any more duos out there, your partner needs to do something to be allowed in. Clear!?" She's met with silence which she was hoping for. "Good. Now to update,"
The screen transforms and adds another person standing right beside Albert. The man looks exactly like Albert, except no glasses, the denim is open and hanging to his sides, and tony having a backwards cap. Margaret continues, "As I was saying, the last contestants accepted this evening are Albert and Anthony Handerson. Twin brothers from the land down under. Both have a strong desire to build and rebuild things, with Albert is all about creating and destroying, and Anthony being all about improving and repairing. Wonder if I can get them to improve my car? Eh, after the Prix."
The screen transitions to a dark blue, 1990 Custom Toyota Land cruiser series 80. Margaret then introduces the car, "The vehicle her is dubbed The Rover Master. This beauty is easy to maintain and can travel through any kind of terrain out there at the cost of speed and turning. It also has a rare 1HD-FTE engine and if that goes, they may be dead in the water. But it looks like they want to take the risk as both of the twins want to compete in the Exploration Cup. Well, that's good news cause it's time for our track previews, starting with an Exploration Cup track.
The screen transitions to a desert with mountains of sand any no other living things in sight. But there's also a small Egyptian city at the end with a finish line at the entrance. Margaret then continues, "From the middle of the Libyan Desert to the entrance of Egypt, in Pharaoh's Walk, racers must brave the desert heat with no roads, little chance of food or water, and with only several pit stops place in advance, but few and far between, this track will drive racers to their absolute limits.
The screen transitions to a flooded city where several skyscrapers and building are all knocked down and damaged cars, bridges, and steel pipes were all too common to find. Margaret then speaks once again, "But for those who prefer the water, we have just the thing. Major Wipeout is a Speed Cup track where racers must speed through a flooded city with only using pipes and debris as the road. Not all of it is stable though, and I expect to see a few crashes from racers going on the wrong pipe or slipping off the track thanks to the water. Oh, and word of warning, there seems to be a second wave on the horizons, so racers don't have time to wait before the second wave come ans…"
SPLASH!
As Margaret was narrating, Izzy and Francesca came back and pour a bucket of water over Margaret's head. Margaret looks at them with a furious glare, and Francesca weakly chuckles and says, "We just wanted to add a bit to the excitement. Hehe."
"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE US ALIVE!" Izzy shouts as she and Francesca bolts off the camera.
"GOOD! CAUSE I WANT YOU DEAD!" Margaret shouts as she starts running after them.

Hey everyone. First off sorry this is later than usual. I had a hard week of work, and it was hard to update. Hopefully I won't have to do this again. Second, I'm glad to see some more authors and reviewers taking an interest and I hope more coming as the weeks go by. I don't know when the next update will be, but I'm hoping it can be sometime next week. But with that being said, Hope you all have a good day and I hope to see you all soon.
