Chapter 3
Voyd woke up in the cave and yawned before she shivered at the cave's cold temperature.
"That's weird. How did I get out here?" she asked before she shrugged and made her way to the Parr House, where the others were eating breakfast.
Dash and Violet smiled widely when they saw her come in.
"Hey, Aunt Karen, where have you been?" Violet asked.
"I don't know. This morning, I just woke up in a cave." Voyd said as she took a bowl of cereal.
"Well, we're just glad you're back, okay." Bob said before the TV showed destruction across Metroville.
"In our main story today, Metroville was attacked last night by a mysterious creature that people are saying was a werewolf. Thankfully, no one was injured, but much property was damaged." the newscaster said as shots were shown of the destruction. A shot of the werewolf was even shown, but it was a blur because of its fast movement.
"Wow, that's pretty bad. I wonder who that werewolf is." Dash said.
Later that night, Karen was walking to the kitchen for a snack.
"I can't help but wonder who that werewolf was, too." Karen said, when she suddenly felt a sharp pain that made her stop in her tracks. She looked at her hands and saw that they were turning into claws.
She gasped, "What?!" realizing just what was happening, even though she hadn't looked at the moon. She gritted her teeth and yelled in pain as she underwent her transformation.
Violet was woken up a few minutes later by crashing in the kitchen. She put on her suit and snuck to the kitchen to see what was going on. Once she caught sight of a werewolf, she screamed, waking up Dash.
