Chapter Four

Harry and Scorpius were sitting at the kitchen table when an owl started to peck at the closed kitchen window. Scorpius looked at Harry curiously, as far as he was aware they were not expecting any post today. Harry stood up from the table, opened the window and took the letter from the owl's extended foot. He looked over at Scorpius out of the corner of his eye and smiled.

"Love, I have something to show you.", Harry spoke with excitement.

Scorpius looked at Harry with his continued curious expression, "What is that letter, Harry?"

Harry smiled, and walked over from the window, pulled out a chair and sat down beside Scorpius. He then took the envelope and opened it and knowing that Scorpius would no doubt be glancing his way, he laid the letter upon the table.

Scorpius looked down towards the letter and noticed there were also tickets of some sort included in the letter. He looked up at Harry awaiting an answer.

"This is tickets to visit America, I know how you've been wanting to visit somewhere outside of the UK, the letter is from a friend of mine who lives in America, she has offered us use of her cabin there, and was the one who was able to purchase our tickets. If you wish to go of course?" Harry said.

Scorpius looked up excitedly and grabbed Harry by his arm and pulled him into a big hug and kissed his cheek; he was so excited that he almost missed his seat when he went to sit back down.

"I take that as a yes you would like to go with me?" Harry asked.

"Yes! Yes! I do!" Scorpius said excitedly.

Harry was extremely happy that Scorpius was excited to go to America with him. He couldn't wait to see what kind of memories they would make together.

The Following Morning

Scorpius woke up excited the next morning, he was so happy to be able to go on a holiday with Harry and especially to someplace he'd never been to before and was sure that they would make such fantastic memories there together.

Harry opened an eye and pulled Scorpius closer and kissed his forehead.

"Why aren't you asleep my love?" Harry asked.

"I am just so overly excited about our holiday together; I cannot wait to go. What day are we leaving?" Scorpius asked.

Harry smiled, he was so happy with the excitement that Scorpius was showing, he could not wait until they were able to board their plane in a few days.

"We will leave this coming Friday, and will be in America by Friday night, possibly early Saturday morning depending on the flight. We will be there for a weeks' time; we may also extend our holiday by a few days if we so choose to." Harry answered, stretching his legs, and getting comfortable.

"Have you ever been to where we are going?" Scorpius asked, laying his head on Harry's chest.

"Not in a few years to be truthful, it will be nice to get back and see the sights, especially with you, my love." Harry answered.

Scorpius smiled, "I cannot wait!"

Harry smiled; he was so glad that Scorpius was so excited to be going on this trip with him. He was looking forward to showing him all the sights and the fun views. He knew that they would have an amazing time. He would not want to leave by the end of the week.

Harry then took Scorpius into his arms and cuddled him close and placed a kiss on his cheek.

That Evening

Scorpius was cleaning up the kitchen after their dinner and was waiting for Harry to finish up a phone call to his father, he was rather nervous about it, Harry was about to tell him that they were going on their first vacation together away.

Scorpius knew that although his father had become accepting of his and Harry's relationship, he still struggled with it occasionally. He looked out the kitchen window, while washing dishes and was curious about the phone call that was going on, Harry wanted to talk to his father in private as well, which had also sparked his curiosity.

That same moment was when Harry had decided to walk into the room, there was no certain look to his face that could tell Scorpius how the conversation had gone.

"How did it go?" He asked.

Harry then smiled and gave Scorpius a tight hug. "It went surprisingly well Love. Your father was of course a little apprehensive about letting me take you out of the county so soon but by the end of the phone call he was very accepting and happy for us and was very happy for you to be able to experience someplace new for yourself. "

Scorpius looked at Harry and decided to pull him with him towards the living room, he was feeling like a cuddle and just wanted to bask in the glow of their love. He knew that Harry was also feeling like that as well since the last few days had been stressful, Harry deserved this vacation as much as he did as an earned break from all that had been going on.

Harry and he laid on the couch and relaxed. Scorpius turned on the tv and started flipping though the channels, he was feeling like something funny yet special. Harry was running his fingers through his hair while he watched Scorpius flip through the channels, he was hoping he would settle on something soon so that they could cuddle. Scorpius found a movie that he soon settled on and laid back against Harry's chest.

"This is a good choice babe." Harry said smiling, he liked this movie just as much as Scorpius and was happy to see that it was on tv.

"It is such a good movie, I love how they don't let anything stand in the way of their relationship, and how they both went from being sad to becoming happy and feeling complete together. It reminds me of us, don't you think?" Scorpius said.

Harry nodded as he too agreed with Scorpius, "Yes love, I quite agree, I too think that it reminds me of us as well."

Scorpius kissed Harry's cheek. He was so glad about the way things were turning out for them. He couldn't wait for their future!
