Chapter 14: April Fools!
*In Lily's room, Lily's POV*
"Rise and shine, superheroes! Time to get up and face the future! Who knows what adventures await you? Remember evil never sleeps so-" I turned my alarm clock off. I groaned and laid back down in bed.
"Lily? Honey, are you getting up?" My Mom called from downstairs. "Five more minutes." I groaned. "But there's waffles and whipped cream for breakfast!" My Mom called. My eyes opened. "Waffles and-?" I quickly got up and got ready for school. I ran downstairs.
"Morning Mom!" I said happily. "Morning, Lil'!" My Mom said. "Hm?" I said and looked at my breakfast. I saw instead of waffles, there was toast and eggs for breakfast.
"Where are the waffles?" I asked with confusion. My Mom laughed. "I guess you forgot today is April 1st. Gotcha!" My Mom said and winked at me. "That's right! April Fool's Day, the one day it's okay to play tricks on people!" I said. "But only if you quickly let them know it was a trick." My Mom said. "Of course, I knew that," I said. I sat down and began eating my food. "Speaking of tricks, I lied when I said I passed that math test," I said. "Wha-?" My Mom said.
I smiled. "April Fooled 'ya!" I said. "Oh come on Mom, that was way too easy," I said. "Well, I guess that makes us even." My Mom said. I laughed and clapped my hands together. "Today is going to be so much fun!" I said. "Just don't overdo it." My Mom said. "I can't wait to fool the other girls and my daughter!"
*In the Shadow Relm, no POV*
Brute was sitting at the table, coloring a picture. "Make 'em big and blushy." Brute said. Brooha walked "Wow, you're a really good artist, Brute! And I'm not just saying that 'cause it's April Fools." Brooha said. "So you really mean it then? Thanks! It's a self-portrait of me! Bringing fear and unhappiness to everybody on earth!" Brute said. "You're the one to do it!" Ulric said. "I am?" Brute said. "Yeah, you're so ferocious and scary. You're such a scary guy, even I'm terrified of you. And I'm not just saying that 'cause it's April Fools Day." Ulric said.
"Does that mean you mean it? Or you don't mean it? Agh! It's so confusing!" Brute shouted. "Oh, poor Brute. You know, everyday is like April Fool's Day for him." Brooha said. "You got that right," Ulric said. "I don't care if you mean it or not! I'm gonna bring an unhappy ending to the world today and that's no lie!" Brute shouted.
*At school, Lana's POV*
I am at school, with my mom, Emily who was humming to herself and changing into her school shoes. I don't have to worry about that because I have special accommodations from the school to not wear the uniform because I had traumatic experiences at work and with my abusive Aunt with it a long time ago before I met my new family. I am glad I get to wear whatever I want. Now I am wearing my RWBY Yang shirt with yellow and orange leggings to match.
"Hi Emily, hi Lana," Lily said as she walked up to us. "Oh, hi Mommy," I said. "Hey Lily, how was your weekend?" Emily asked. "Mine was terrific!" Candy said happily. "That's because you ate all of my mom's cookie dough, and of course, I got blamed for it," Emily said. I laughed.
Lily's thought's: What are you waiting for? It's a perfect time to play an April Fool's joke on Emily and Lana!
"Uh, Lily?" Emily called. "Huh?" Lily said and gasped. "What's the matter?" Emily asked. "Ahem. It's kind of a secret. If I tell you guys, you've got to promise not to tell the others." Lily said. "What is it?" Emily asked. "Well, it's just..." Lily started. "I love a secret." Candy said. "What is it, Mommy?" I asked. Lily looked sad.
"Mm... I'm afraid I... May have to quit the Glitter Force." Lily said. Our eyes widened. "What?! Since when?!" Emily shouted. "Huh? You what?!" Candy shouted.
Lily's thoughts: Good one! Total psych!
"But wait, why Lily?" Emily asked.
Lily's thoughts: Don't stop now, this is fun!
"Because um... I'm moving away tomorrow!" Lily said. "What?!" I shouted. "Waa?! Moving away! What?!" Emily shouted.
Lily's thoughts: Oh wow! They completely fell for it! You better tell them the truth now!
"April Fool's, gotcha! I was only kidding, I'm not really moving, don't worry! Emily? Lana?" Lily said. "Where'd they go?" Lily asked. Before Lily could say anything, Emily and I went straight to Kelsey.
"Kelsey! Kelsey! Kelsey! Kelsey! Kelsey! Kelsey!" Emily yelled. "Mother! Mother!" I yelled as we ran up to her. "Oh, hi Emily, Lana. The bell ring?" Kelsey asked. "Forget about that! We've got really bad news and we are not supposed to tell you!" Emily said. Emily and I whispered something in Kelsey's ear.
"She what? Huh? What?! She's moving?! What about the Glitter Force?!" Kelsey screamed. "Mother!" I shouted. Everyone looked at us.
"Never Mind! Quiet! Never Mind! Quiet!" Emily yelled. We all covered our mouths.
"Aren't you like, totally freaked out?" Emily said frantically. "Yeah. But think of her. I bet she made you promise to keep it a secret, right?" Kelsey said. "Oh, that's right. She did." Emily said. "How did you know?" Candy asked. "Poor kid, I know just how she feels. To have to leave? That really sucks!" Kelsey said.
"Man, Emily and Lana ran off before I could tell them the truth!" Lily said as she was walking up to Emily, Kelsey, and I.
"What are we gonna do?" Kelsey asked. "Here's my chance! Emily! Lana!" Lily called. "Oh. Hi, Lily!" Emily said. "Hey, what up, Lil!" Kelsey said. "Hi, Mommy," I said. "Hiya Kelsey. Nothing much. Listen Emily, Lana, about what I said before, I was just-"
"Lily, it's okay." Kelsey cut in. "Huh?" Lily said. "Emily already told me the bad news you told her. About you moving." Kelsey said. Lily gasped. "I'm sorry! I forgot it was supposed to be a secret!" Emily shouted. "Yeah, but Emily, I-"
"I totally know how you're feeling! Moving away from all your friends! I know what that's like, I had to do it myself once." Kelsey cut in again. "Me too! I've been there." Emily said. "But wait, I'm not-" Lily started but she was cut off again. "It tears you up inside, having to leave all the people and places you know!" Kelsey said. "That's why you wanted to keep it a secret. I was like that. You feel so sad and lonely. You don't even want to tell anybody that you're leaving." Emily said.
"You poor thing!" Candy said. "I'm fine, really!" Lily said. "Don't worry, we'll still be friends," Kelsey said. "Yeah! BFF's!" Emily said. "BFFF's!" Kelsey said. "We'll email and send each other selfies and stuff," Emily said. "And don't worry Mommy, I still love you even if you are far away," I said. "Uh yeah, I love you too Lana and we could do all that stuff but-"
"All right girls, girls, don't stand around chatting all morning. You're going to be late for class." Miss. Mason said as she was walking by. "Okay, Miss. Mason." I said. "Coming ma'am," Emily said. "We'll talk later, we better get going," Kelsey said. "But..." Lily tried to protest but she didn't get the chance.
Lily's thoughts: Oh, come on, just give me the chance to explain!
I walked to class with my parents and sat down next to Kelsey, in my usual spot.
"My printer broke, so I have to go to the office to get new handouts. So why don't you all review the chapter while you're waiting." Miss. Mason said. Miss. Mason left to go get the handouts. Kelsey went to tell the other girls about Lily moving.
"April!" Kelsey said. "Yeah?" April said. "Try not to freak out but Lily says that she has to move away," Kelsey said. "What?!" April cried. Kelsey went to tell Chloe the news too.
"No!" Chloe cried. We looked at Lily who was feeling sad. "Really?" Chloe said. "Oh! She's so sad." April said. After class, Lily went over to us.
"Emily, Kelsey, Lana. There's something I need to explain. Got a sec?" Lily said. "Lily," Chloe said. "Huh?" Lily said and turned to Chloe and April. "I want you to know we're here for you," Chloe said. "The thing I don't get is why I had to hear about it from Kelsey," April said. "April, listen," Lily said. "Don't you trust us?" April said with disappointment in her voice. "No! Let me explain!" Lily cried. "I mean, moving away is a big deal. Why would you keep it a secret?" April said. "I think she wasn't sure how we would take it," Emily said. "Anyways, we all know about it now and I'm sure Lily's okay with that. Isn't that right, Lily?" Kelsey said. "Huh? Umm..." Lily stuttered.
Lily's thoughts: Ah! What are you doing? Tell them the truth! This is all getting way out of hand!
"Did you think we'd get mad at you or something like that?" April asked. "You know how it is, once people know you're leaving, everyone gets all sad and gloomy and it's not a lot of fun," Kelsey said. "Yeah, and who can blame her if she didn't want her last few days to be like that? She just wants everything to be like it's always been. You know, puppies and kittens." Emily said. "Well, I..." Lily stuttered.
Lily's thoughts: Ah! It's getting worse and worse!
"I understand. I'll try not to be sad." Chloe said. "Gee, I- I'm sorry I got mad at you for not telling us," April said. "Really, it's all right," Lily said.
Lily's thoughts: Oh, what do I do? Help! Help!
"Don't look now but everyone's gone to the music room," Kelsey said. "We'd better go. But we'll meet at recess as usual, and we promise not to act sad." Chloe said. "Mmm hmm." We all said and nodded.
Lily's thoughts: Good job, Lily, really good job! This little April Fool's is turning out into a ginormous lie!
Later, everyone left the music room when we finished up music class. Lily was looking at her Glitter Pact sadly.
"That does it. I've just got to tell them the truth. Even if it means they get mad at me." Lily said. "Don't worry, Lily it'll work out," Emily assured her. "You've got enough on your plate without worrying about the Glitter Force," Chloe said. "Huh? The Glitter Force?" Lily said, confused. "C'mon. Isn't that why you were staring at the Glitter Pact?" Kelsey said. Lily closed the Glitter Pact.
"Oh no, I-" Lily started. "I'm sure that wherever you're moving to, as long as there's a Magical Portal nearby, you can still be a part of the Glitter Force. Hopefully." Chloe said. "Chloe!" I shouted. "For sure! Lily will always be a part of the Glitter Force!" Emily said. "Were you worried we would find someone to take your place?" April said. "No, I really wasn't..." Lily said. "It must be going through your mind. But it's never gonna happen, Lily! You think we'd kick you off the team?" Kelsey said.
"Oh Lily, Lily, Lily. Help her up, Kelse. It wouldn't be the Glitter Force without you." Emily said. "Uh," Lily said. "And even if the worst happens and you can't be on our team anymore... you'll always have a place in our hearts because there's only one Glitter Peace," Chloe said and pulled Lily into a hug. "Totally," Kelsey said and hugged Lily too. "Definitely," Emily said and also hugged Lily. "Absolutely," April said and hugged Lily too. "Always," I said and hugged Lily as well. "We'll get a sub." Candy said.
Lily's thoughts: Oh. What do I do now?
At recess/lunch I was with my parents. My family joined as well. They weren't here all day at school, so I filled them in on what happened today.
"So, Lily's moving?" Sarabi said. "Yeah. She told all of us during class today." I said. "Aw, that's too bad," Sarabi said. "Where is Lily anyways? I haven't seen her yet." Fuli said. "Hey, guys. Where's Lily?" April asked as she walked up to us. "I haven't seen her since last period," Emily said. "The poor kid, hanging out with us probably just makes her feel worse about moving," Kelsey said. "All right. Then we have to find a way to cheer her up. And I have an idea." Chloe said.
"Agreed," I said. "I'll help find her," Anga said.
*In the courtyard, Lily's POV*
I was sitting by myself, drawing a picture because it was the only way I can tell the truth.
"Okay! A picture's worth a thousand words. If I can't tell 'em the truth, I'll draw it! There we go!" I said happily when I finished the picture. "April Fool's! I'm not moving, sorry!" I said. "Now I'll leave it where they can find it. Huh?" I said when I saw my drawing blow away. I chased after the paper.
"Aaaah! Nooo!" I cried.
*With the girls, Lana's POV*
"There, I found her," Anga said as she flew to the top of the school. We ran to the top of the school and saw Lily in distress.
"Lily?" Emily called. "You practicing your dance moves?" Emily asked. "Hi Emily, you're good. How am I?" Lily said. "Hey Lily, listen. I know you're feeling sad right now but we have a surprise for you." Nala said. "You do?" Lily asked. "Yeah. Come on, follow us." Anga said. "Okay..." Lily said. Lily followed us to the classroom, and we met up with the other girls in the classroom.
"Are we ready?" Kelsey asked. "Ready," Emily said. "Ooh, this is gonna be awesome," Bunga said. "Bunga, take it easy on her," Fuli said. "What is it?" Lily asked. "You'll see," Emily said. "It's a surprise," Kovu said. Emily and I opened the door to the classroom.
"Huh?" Lily said, confused. Emily put the Glitter Charm into the Glitter Pact. "Activate Glitter Pact! Cherry Blossoms!" The woman shouted. Everyone clapped when Lily entered the room.
"Why are you applauding? Is there something on my face?" Lily asked. "Huh?!" Lily cried when she saw a sign on the board that said:
Goodbye Lily, we'll miss you!
"I, uh. I don't know what to say." Lily said.
*With Brute, no POV*
Brute arrived in the human world. "Life imitates art! Whatever that means. I'm gonna spread some serious havoc, just like in this picture." Brute was interrupted when a piece of paper hit him in the face. He looked at the drawing.
"What's this? So one of the Glitter Girls told a lie, hm? Hm-hmm." Brute said.
*Back at the school, Lana's POV*
"Aww. I know you wanted to keep it a secret Lily, but..." Emily started. "Kinda," Lily said. "Well, we didn't want you to go away from here without knowing just how much you mean to us. And not just the five of us either, the whole class, everyone!" Chloe said. "This is too much," Lily said.
Lily's thoughts: Way too much! Way too much!
"It's true, Lily," Emily said as she walked up to her. "I know it's not much, but we hope you'll accept these flowers as a small token of what we feel for you," Chloe said. "We all chipped in for them!" April said. "Yeah! Even the boys." Kelsey said. "Here..." Emily said as she handed Lily the flowers. "Uh, thanks," Lily said.
Lily's thoughts: It just keeps getting worse and worse!
"Look! We all made a card for you." A boy said and handed the card to Lily. "Wow, you shouldn't have," Lily said. "Speech! Speech!" Kelsey yelled. "That's a good idea. How about a few words, Lily." Chloe said. "Yeah! C'mon say something Lily!" Emily said. Everyone clapped.
Here's my chance. I could just finally tell them the truth! Lily thought. Lily then began to think of what would happen if she told the truth. "April Fool's or not, you shouldn't lie to your friends!" Chloe yelled. "Way to go, Lily! Way to be a liar!" April yelled. "Hey, those flowers weren't cheap!" Kelsey yelled. "I don't know if I can trust you ever again, Lily!" Emily said. "How could you, Mommy?! You almost gave me a heart attack! And I thought you were supposed to be teaching me not to lie!" Lana shouted. Lily pictured herself in the classroom, with her friends calling her a liar.
No, it's too late! They'll never forgive me if I tell them the truth! I'll just have to move! What will I tell my mom!
"She's speechless!" Emily said. "Ah! She's too sad to talk!" Emily said. "Go on, you can do it!" Kelsey encouraged. Lily began to cry and ran away.
"Lily!" Everyone shouted. "Lily, wait!" Emily shouted. "Oh geez," Kovu said. "The poor kid. Should we go after her?" Nala said. "Yeah, good idea," I said. We ran after Lily and we found her on the roof, sobbing to herself.
"Lily?" Chloe said. "Huh?" Lily said as she looked up at us. "We're sorry. I guess it was a dumb idea." Chloe said. "Well blame Lana it was her idea." Scar said. "Hey, you came up with the idea too!" I shouted. "Guys, stop it. Don't make her feel worse." Mufasa said. "Well, we did. We just ended up making you feel even worse, didn't we?" April said. "Yeah, our bad," Kelsey said. "We're sorry Lily," Anga said. Lily shook her head.
"Mm mm. It's not that. It's me." Lily said. "Huh? What do you mean by that?" Scar asked.
"What a dopy drawing. She's not only a big fat fibster, she's a terrible artist. Well! I'm gonna draw 'em a picture! That they won't ever forget! I'm gonna paint this future of this world black!" Brute shouted. Brute splatted black ink on the book. The sky turned dark red and everyone was under the spell.
"Goodbye future." A kid said. "All of a sudden I don't care about anything." Another kid said. Brute laughed. "Yeah! Give me all of that negative energy! Help me turn the Wheel of Doom and revive my master, Nogo! Emperor of Evil!" Brute shouted.
We all looked around. "Great, not at a time like this!" Simba shouted. "Not now. I've got a feeling were about to get company!" Emily said. Brute landed in front of us. "And there's your company," Janja said. Brute gave an evil laugh. "Brute again!" Kelsey shouted. "I was going to say the same thing too!" I said. "It's Glitter Time, Glitter Force!" Candy said. "Are you going to be okay, Lily? Are you up for this?" Emily asked. "Mm!" Lily said and nodded.
"Insert Glitter Charm!" We yelled and inserted our Glitter Charms into the Glitter Pacts. "Activate Glitter Pact!" The woman said. "All together! Glitter Force Makeover!" We all yelled. Our Glitter Puff appeared. "Glitter Puff! Apply Shades of Power!" Emily yelled. "Poof Poof, Glitter Bands!" Emily yelled as she began applying her costume. "Glitter Bands!" I yelled as I also began applying my costume on.
Kelsey giggled as she prepared to apply on her costume. Lily giggled and clapped her hands together.
"Watch out world!" April yelled. Chloe blew on her Glitter Puff. "Glitter Boots!" Emily yelled. We finished applying on our costumes. Then, our big hair appeared and my eyes changed color to light purple. We put blush on our cheeks. We giggled as we landed on the ground. "Oh yeah!" Kelsey shouted.
"A fabulous shimmer! A glow in your heart! I'm Glitter Lucky!" Emily yelled as she did her pose. "The beat of music! The wave of sound! I'm Glitter Song!" I yelled and did my pose. "When you mess with me, you're playing with fire! I'm Glitter Sunny!" Kelsey yelled as she did her pose. "Puppies and kittens, the power of love! I'm Glitter Peace!" Lily yelled and did her pose. "A force as strong as life itself! I'm Glitter Spring!" April yelled and did her pose. "Cool and swift as the winter wind! I'm Glitter Breeze!" Chloe yelled and did her pose. We all flew in the sky.
"Time to blaze away to a happy ending!" We all yelled. We landed on the ground. "Ready girls?" Lucky asked. "Shining bright! Here comes the Glitter Force!" We all yelled and did our poses.
"Got something for ya! A little April Fool's Day surprise!" Brute said. "And what is that? Another Buffon, am I right?" Uru said. "You got that right. Buffon, come out!" Brute yelled. "Buffon!" The Buffon yelled as he was summoned.
"Surprised? I knew it!" Brute yelled. "Time to bowl!" The Buffon yelled and rolled towards us. "What are we, bowling pins?" Sunny said. "Go on, hit 'em! Smash 'em with your fists!" Brute shouted. "Ha-ha! Buffon!" The Buffon yelled. We got in our battle stances and prepared for a punch.
"Watch out!" I cried. "Fooled ya!" Brute yelled. Instead of a punch, the Buffon kicked us, causing us to fall down.
"Lana, are you okay?" Sarafina said. "I'm fine," I said. "Squash 'em! Roll right over 'em!" Brute yelled. We jumped up as the Buffon prepared to attack.
"Fooled ya!" Brute yelled again. We screamed as Buffon punched us. Nala ran over to the Buffon.
"Stop it! Stop hurting my friend!" Nala yelled. "Nala, don't!" Simba yelled and ran after her. Simba held Nala back to stop her from attacking.
"Ha! This is gonna be easy! Almost too easy!" Brute shouted while laughing. "Maybe if you didn't lie and try to trick us!" Lucky yelled. Peace gasped. "And anyway, April Fool's tricks are pretty lame!" Sunny yelled. "Yeah, I don't fall for those!" I said. "Not that we'd expect you to tell the truth," Spring said. "Why don't you stop with these lies and try to fight us fair and square!" Breeze yelled. "I agree with Breeze! Stop these tricks!" I yelled. Lily continued whimpering.
"Peace? Honey, what's wrong?" Uru asked. "Hey, I'm not the only one around here tellin' lies. Isn't that right, Glitter Peace?" Brute said, pointing at her. "Huh?" We all said and turned to look at her. "No way, she wouldn't tell lies like that," Anga said. "So I guess they haven't seen this?" Brute said. Brute held up a paper with a drawing.
"What's that?" I asked. Peace gasped. "Where did you get my drawing?" Peace asked with alarm. "So, you told a lie! Big deal! Don't apologize, don't feel bad you tricked your friends. That's the whole point of telling lies!" Brute yelled. "Stop it!" Peace yelled, covering her ears. "Uh, Peace, what is Brute talking about?" Sunny asked. "If your friends were stupid enough to fall for it, then it's their problem!" Brute said and gave out an evil laugh.
"No, they trusted me! There's nothing stupid about that!" Peace shouted. "What do you mean? Trusted you with what?" Breeze asked. "I'm confused, what are you talking about?" Sarabi asked. "Look Peace, if you have something to tell us, then tell us," Spring said. I should! I should tell them I lied! But if I do, they may never trust me again! Peace thought.
"Go on! No matter how bad it is, it won't change anything. We're BFF's! BFFF's! I'll never forget how you helped me out when I first moved here and was all alone. You'll never know how much that meant to me." Lucky said.
*Flashback*
"I thought you did a really good job!" Lily said.
*End of Flashback*
"All right..." Peace said and took a deep breath. "Sorry Lucky, I lied to you and I feel terrible about it." Peace said. "Huh?" We all said. "Lied?" Sunny said. "Mommy, what do you mean?" I said, confused. "Yeah. About me moving. It wasn't true!" Peace said. "Whaaa-?" Lucky cried. "Why would you lie to us about that?" Sunny said. "It wasn't all of you. Just Emily. It was meant to be a joke... happy April Fool's Day!" Peace said.
"I totally forgot," Sunny said. "Yeah, so did I," Breeze said. "Same here," I said. "Uh, guys, what is April Fool's Day?" Kiara asked. "April Fool's Day is where you play pranks on each other," I explained. "Oh okay," Kiara said. "Oh! So that's what it was." Lucky said. "Good grief! I can't believe you fell for an April Fool's Day prank!" Sunny yelled. "Hey, I'm sorry! She was so believable. And besides, I'm not the only one! You fell for it too!" Lucky argued.
"Ehh, oh come on I was just playing along. I never believed it." Sunny said. "I didn't believe it either," I said. "Oh, come on Lana, don't play dumb. You came crying to me and Anga when you found out she was moving." Scar said. "I..." I tried to argue but realized he was right.
"So that means you're not really..." Spring started. "Moving!? No, absolutely not! I could never leave you guys, especially Lana." Peace said. "Well, that's a relief!" Sunny and Lucky said. "Yipeee good news!" Candy said as she jumped up in the air. "You had us worried for a minute." Breeze said. "Yeah!" Spring said and nodded. "You're not mad? After all the trouble my joke caused." Peace asked nervously. "Wasn't your fault," Spring said. "Mmmhmm." We all said and nodded. "Yeah, it was mostly Lucky and Song's fault," Sunny said as she patted us on our backs. "Yeah..." Lucky and I said.
"Were just glad you're not really leaving." Breeze said. "Mmmhm." We said and nodded again. Peace burst into tears and began crying.
"You guys are the best!" Peace cried. "Watch out, here comes the waterworks," Sunny said. "It's okay Lily, cry it out!" Breeze said.
"Boring!" Brute shouted. "Huh?" We all said and turned around. "Oh, you're still here?" Peace said. "Are you done? Can we start smashing you again? I really wanna." Brute asked. Peace growled and glared at them.
"Buffon, don't you wanna?" Brute asked. "Buffon!" The Buffon shouted and prepared to punch. We got into our battle stances.
"See? I told you he wanna." Brute said. Peace clenched her fists. "You'll never beat us, you big red bully, and I'll tell you why! Because friendship is stronger than lies or tricks, it's stronger than anything!" Peace shouted. "Is it stronger than a fist? Let's find out! Buffon, pound them into the ground!" Brute yelled. "Buffon bye-bye!" The Buffon said as he prepared to punch us. We prepared to attack but Peace got in front of us.
"Huh?" We said, confused. "Fooled ya!" Brute yelled. The Buffon began rolling towards Peace. "Here's what I learned today: you've gotta face the truth, no matter what happens! So are you ready to face it, you big goon?!" Peace yelled. Peace jumped up and did a few flips in the air. She gave a battle cry and kicked the Buffon in the nose with both of her feet. She landed back on the ground.
"Nice, Lily!" Lucky shouted. Peace took out her Glitter Pact and began summoning her Glitter Spirit into it.
"Go spirit, go!" Peace yelled. "Glitter Force! Sparkle Lightning!" Peace yelled and shot her Sparkle Lightning at the Buffon. "Buffon!" The Buffon yelled as it was being defeated.
"Agh! I can't believe I lost again! I wish that was a lie!" Brute whined. Brute disappeared and everything was back to normal.
"You did it, Peace! Everything's back to normal! And we scored a Glitter Charm! We're gonna revive Queen Euphoria in no time! We rock!" Candy said.
In the classroom, Lily told everyone the truth that she was staying and that she was not moving.
"What?! It was a lie!" A boy shouted. "Well, more like a little fib. But I'm sorry!" Lily said and bowed her head. "I didn't expect it to get so out of hand," Lily said. "Yeah, you see Lily told me and Lana she was moving as kind of an April Fool's prank. We were supposed to keep it a secret." Emily explained. "So of course, you and Lana immediately came running to me with the bad news, didn't ya? Some secret keeper you are." Kelsey said.
"Who's the one who insisted we tell Chloe? And April? Like you're the one to talk! Miss. Blabbermouth!" Emily whined. Kelsey burst out laughing.
"Well anyway, however, it happened, It was all a big misunderstanding," Chloe said. "But everybody forgives her, right?" April asked. "Yeah, I guess we can do that," Teddy said. "Of course we forgive her!" A girl said. "I'm just glad she's not leaving!" Another girl said. "You know, I never really believed it anyway." A boy said. "You really forgive me?" Lily asked, with tears forming in her eyes.
"So another happy ending!" Emily said. "Yeah, those are the best kind!" Lily said and smiled. "Yay! Lily, we are so glad you're staying! I mean it!" A girl said. "Thanks! Does anyone have a tissue?" Lily asked. "Hey, c'mere guys," Kelsey said. We gathered around Kelsey. Kelsey whispered something to us.
"The only thing is, Lily..." Kelsey said. "Huh?" Lily said. "After this, I'll never trust you again..." Kelsey said. Lily gasped. "Hm. Kelsey's got a good point." April said. "I just won't be able to believe a word you say," Chloe said. "Uuh, yeah! Not a word when you talk!" Emily said. "I am ashamed to be your daughter. I'll run away and never come back." I said. "Really?!" Lily said with panic. "Do you want me to move?" Lily asked.
"April Fool's! Just kidding!" We all said. Lily gasped. "Just a little joke, Lily. Sorry about that." Emily said. "Hah! But it was worth it just to see the look on your face!" Emily said. "Yeah!" We all said. "Yeah, trust me it was priceless," Kelsey said. Kelsey laughed. "Okay, now we're even!" Kelsey said. Everyone laughed.
"Oh, you guys. I can move if you want!" Lily said.
