After classes at PCA
"Rosie can we talk about something" asks Andre
"you're spending your afternoon here instead of with Cat or Paige, something must be up, Rosie can't speak, not for another week, she had the feminine voice surgery so she could sound more like a girl, her vocal cords have to heal, what's the problem" says Jade
"it's about Cat and Paige, they've been different since we got here, consistently different, they don't seem like themselves" says Andre
"you have to realize we're in the same building that Cat and Paige were in back then, it's the memories, the trauma" says Tori
"no it's more than that, they'd bought new underwear, some sort of fancy Canadian silk stuff, when it arrived and they opened it they were covered in this purple powder, they've been different ever since" says Andre as Quinn walks in
"wait, did the powder come from the box or were they covered in it before opening the box" asks Quinn
"from the box, why" asks Andre
"he must have heard that Cat and Paige were the only victims willing to testify in person" says Quinn
"wait him as in Logan, he did this to them" asks Andre
"yes, Andre we need to make them temporarily pass out, they need to technically be lifeless for thirty seconds" says Quinn
"but how, I can't get near them" asks Andre
"this is how he got to Trisha, smells fast track it, if we don't stop it from continuing it will rewire their brains, make them continually susceptible to it, if we stop it it makes them immune to it" says Quinn
"do you know how long it takes" asks Tori
"full rewiring of their brains can take as little as three weeks or as long as a month or two, Andre how long has it been" says Quinn
"it's been a week, we didn't fully arrive until a week and a half ago, we were slowly siphoned off of Hollywood arts way of teaching and onto how PCA does it" says Andre
"ok well we have our best chance, they just entered their room, Cat changed the door handle around, she kept locking herself out, if we can corner them we can temporarily kill them, brain function has to stop, I can shock them back to life, I know it's scary Andre but it's the only way" says Quinn
"will they hate me for it after" asks Andre
"for a bit but only because the brain will have to heal, a week of healing for a week of damage, they will return to their normal selves" says Quinn
"and you can be sure of this" asks Jade
"Lucy is more or less proof, she's still susceptible to it but it doesn't make her as crazy or as mindlessly obedient to suggestions, she's now capable of resisting suggestions, at least in most cases, we don't have much time, the freedom clock is literally ticking" says Quinn
45 minutes later as Cat and Paige are brought back
"do you think they hate me" asks Andre as Cat and Paige instinctively crawl over to cuddle Andre
"no, I don't think they do, don't expect them to speak much, depending on where the chemical salt was in rewiring their brains they might not speak until Monday" says Quinn
"I can already tell they're back to normal, they wouldn't cuddle me like this under the influence of that stuff, I need to know how bad it can be and what to look for, Zoey and them need to know as well" says Andre
"Nicole's the one that notified me, you're not the only one they've been hostile towards, Paige hit Zoë yesterday, Cat hit Dustin, Logan is trying to turn them against one another so they mess up in court, specifically Cat, Lucy and Zoë, they're the ones testifying in person, the best way to get a mistrial in his case is to get the girls to fight" says Quinn
"ok fair enough but may I ask why they're naked, there weren't naked this morning" asks Andre
"we all do it, well maybe not me but they do, you have to understand we're in the same building we were in when Logan was here, we have mostly the same clothes we did then, there's the nagging thought in the back of our heads that we're going to run into Logan at Sushi Rox, that's where Logan worked, we're acting differently so that we can discern our nightmares from the reality we're living right now, the only differences are that Lucy, Dustin, Tori, Jade and Rosie are here, Cat and Paige aren't actually naked naked, they're wearing skin colored, full body, panty hose like material, custom made, Lola designed them so its like a full body hug, meant to be worn under their clothes" says Quinn
"but there's a hole, I can see their kittens" says Andre
"that's because unlike Zoë or Nicole, Cat and Paige struggle to take it off to go pee, they cut the holes so it is easier, not to flash you, Cat and Paige's are different than Nicole or Zoë's, Cat and Paige's have compression material from the hips to their bra line, Lola made them a little too tightly compressed which is why they had to cut the holes, Lola's making new ones that are easier to get in and out of, I assure you they're not trying to flash you or get you to make love to them, at least not intentionally" says Quinn as Paige and Cat essentially glue themselves to Andre in fear of what they did
"you sure they aren't worried about what I had to do to pull them out of it" asks Andre
"I assure you they are more worried about what they did than what you did, to them you saved them from what Logan had planned, they'll be more loyal to you now than ever, I'm going to see if Dean Rivers will make an exception and let you be their third roommate" says Quinn
"he doesn't seem the type to let guys live in a girls dorm" says Andre
"what happened happened because Cat and Paige have very little restraint, like Lucy they sniff smells they like and like Trisha they often sniff no much they pass out, it's why they're not allowed to have overly scented perfumes and why you're not allowed cologne that has a strong smell to it, there was powder left thankfully, you were not permitted here to protect them, I'll be back, don't let them out of your sight" says Quinn as she bolts off to Rivers's office
With Quinn 20 minutes later in a meeting with Dean Rivers
"wait so you're saying this happened because I didn't let Andre be the third roommate even though he'd asked to be" asks Dean Rivers
"someone is feeding him information, he somehow knew Cat and Paige were back attending PCA now that it's a majority girl campus, he has someone intercepting packages, Lucy and Trisha almost got hit again too, they'd ordered new shoes, they arrived yesterday, I smelt something funny so I doused the package in water, sure enough a white paste like foam came out, the shoes were then washed thoroughly and are drying today, Cat and Paige didn't have that protection, they refuse to rely on us girls, Lucy's grades aren't doing that well, Cat needs to be clear headed, as does Paige, the only person they trust to keep them safe from Logan is Andre, Logan played you, he knew you'd make strict rules about a boy in the girls dorm, that he had visiting hours, Logan used that to his advantage, it allowed his accomplice to intercept packages, compromise them and get them to the girls without any problems, no mail checks, nothing to protect us or ANY student on this campus, if Logan wanted to he could send tainted packages to ANY female student" says Quinn
"has Alexander been informed of this, he'll have my head if he finds out" asks Dean Rivers
"he has his marching orders from the federal government, unless he has proof that you're in on the evil plan with Logan, Alexander is to protect your job, if you want my advice, tighted security around package delivery on campus, all student packages xray'd, I have an image of what the chemical salt looks like on an xray, it can be done, Chase and Michael have offered to help with it" says Quinn
"are they qualified" asks Dean Rivers
"The equipment is easy to use, it's a six by six foot machine that scans packages, packages containing flagged items are flagged for sanitization, for example if Logan intercepted Zoëy's bra package she could make sure it arrives untainted" says Quinn
"did you have to tell me Zoey ordered bra's" asks Dean Rivers
"it only just got ordered, it was the first example that popped I to my head, I'm sorry but this is a majority girl campus now, orders like that are going to happen, Logan is now targeting Cat and Paige, any girl on this campus could be next, the FBI can't protect you if you don't do the right thing for your students, yes this situation makes you uncomfortable but so did opening up PCA to girls, Logan took advantage of your vulnerable situation by playing the rich card, don't let him win this battle, if you can't do what's best for your students the state will gladly take full control and destroy the good name PCA has as an independent and safe institution, Logan wants you gone because your life's work was to make PCA a safe school for boys and girls, he doesn't want girls to get educated properly, he likes girls to be dumb because it means people like him can exploit them" says Quinn as Dean Rivers turns white at the prospect of dumbing half the population of the country
"how much does a unit cost" asks Dean Rivers showing he's willing to fight back
"four grand for the size of unit I described, I make money testing products, it's what I turned to for money after Logan exploited my generosity and refused to stop when I told him the product was rotten, I have one on the way, I was going to use it to xray almost everything I own but it was designed for this exact type of work, university mail examination, to stop drug dealers on campus, it's a computer based system, you upload an xray of the item you want to flag and it maps the signature, specifically the xray signature that my portable xray tool receives when xraying items, as of right now I have the xray signature of all the variants his accomplice has developed so far and I can upload them" says Quinn
"what do you mean by variants, are you saying each one is unique" asks Dean Rivers, turning beet red
"no, his accomplice is infusing the salt dust with fragrances tuned to each victim, Lucy's scent of choice is roses, Trisha's is lavender, Paige's is citrus and Cat's is blueberries, I can hard code variants in if I can find out each girls scent preference, it would have to be done in secret, no online poll, paper only" says Quinn
"wait I just realized something, how doesn't he think trapping you would be the best way of stopping the trial" asks Dean Rivers
"because I'm locked into the original stuff, I'm more or less immune to the altered stuff, besides my specific scent preference is too exotic for his accomplice to track down before the trial, not least because the chemicals needed to simulate it would land anyone on the FBI most wanted list and the organic variant is illegal to harvest" says Quinn
"wait if you're immune can't you make others immune" asks Dean Rivers
"that's the hard part, the easiest way to do that is to dose every girl on campus with the original blend and essentially keep them under suggestion, a blend which I no longer have and something I swore I'd never make again" says Quinn
"is there another option" asks Dean Rivers
"you're not going to like it" says Quinn

"I'd have to personally swap spit with every student on campus to make everyone immune, I am the antidote, I know every intimate detail about what I created and I used it myself, my body makes me immune, Logan has tried, I've been completely unaffected, the FBI gave a sample of my to a Canadian firm based in Sacramento, they're trying to create a DNA based vaccine, like how they're starting to treat cancer by targeting a person's specific cancer, they hope to have a temporary short term 'vaccine' ready by the trial" says Quinn
"why that specific date" asks Dean Rivers
"because the chemical makeup is part of evidence, because I screwed up the percentage of one ingredient it acts like a mind altering drug, Logan's lawyers are going to burry me" says Quinn
"I don't understand" says Dean Rivers
"for two weeks when I first got into PCA Logan and I dated, his personality pushed me away but I sent him a single bikini picture during our relationship, they're gonna say I gave Logan the idea therefore I I should be the one on trial not Logan and I'm terrified they will put me on trial instead of him, he has Congress level lawyers, they're crafty and have gotten a few Congress people off charges" says Quinn
"why did you create the chemical salt" asks Dean Rivers
"it wasn't supposed to be a chemical salt, I've been on anti-psychotics since I was little, they always caused problems, I stopped taking them as often as I was supposed to when I came here because the ones I was on made me sweaty and made me stutter, they also dumbed me down, my intention was to make something that changed part of my personality so I didn't have to keep taking meds with such bad side effects, I also wanted to be someone that either Nicole or Zoë would find attractive and good as a girlfriend, it's because I messed up the chemical proportions that it has the effect it does, it's also why it's more effective as a powder, he probably has enough to target three more girls, that is if I have my crystal to powder weight math right" says Quinn
"if you were Logan who'd you target next" asks Dean Rivers
"I'm not a psychopath, not like Logan, I'm a level two, meaning moderate monitoring required, Logan would be a or nine ten, meaning if left alone check for unconscious girls, I just wish I'd done that math years ago, this could have all been avoided" says Quinn
"wait you're dating Nicole and Zoey right" asks Dean Rivers

"no, I'm not uber religious, it's just Zoey's our top basketball player and Nicole's the best cheerleader we have, aside from maybe Catarina, I was just maybe hoping you maybe got into a situation where they're immune from Logan's tampering" says Dean Rivers
"Nicole should be immune but Zoë's a little on the fence about going far enough to swap saliva, she's a bit Mysophobic, aka the germ phobia, I had a cold the first week of November and she's kinda avoided kissing me in that way since, she has to see me wash my face before she let's herself bring her face even close to mine, in all honesty Nicole and I are afraid we aren't entertaining her enough, we think she's getting bored with the whole being with us thing, she's really been pressing Cat about an alternate universe where they're dating and Nicole and I don't exist" says Quinn
"Cat told me herself that she has a thing about three's and will not entertain the idea of a quad, though I have no idea why she felt the need to tell me that" says Dean Rivers
"huh, that is interesting, maybe Zoey is under the influence of something, I have to go" says Quinn suddenly very worried
With Quinn in their dorm room
"Zoë, answer me truthfully, have you sniffed any powder from packages" asks Quinn asserting a dominant tone
"….. do you hate me, it's just that Lucy said it made her brain tingle, I got curious" pouts Zoey
"how long has it been" asks Quinn
"weeks, am I in danger" says Zoey
"no but it has taken hold, is that why you kept talking about the alternate reality where you and Cat are dating and Nicole and I don't exist" asks Quinn as Nicole wraps herself in her blanket, hoping to not hear the response
"I did have feelings for Cat… do have feelings I mean, that stuff amplified it, I hung on Cat's every word, I don't know why" says Zoey as Nicole pulls the blanket down from her face
"would you ever leave us for her if a chance arose" asks Nicole feeling very vulnerable
"no, we don't mesh well anyway, she's a cuddlebug and I'm an active, awake at sunrise girl, I'm lucky I get the cuddles I do and I'm ok with it as it stands, I'm sorry if I made either of you feel unloved" says Zoey
"Zoey kiss me" says Quinn
"you know I don't like that, you haven't washed your face today" says Zoey
"Zoë it's for a good reason, I'm immune from Logan's controlling powder because of Quinn" says Nicole as Zoëy tilts her head in confusion
"huh" says Zoey in confusion
"the original chemical salt, the one he used on Lucy and Trisha, the one I used on myself, my body adjusted to it, Logan has tried to use it on me, he's tainted several of my packages, it has no effect on me, I'm a living breathing mind control antidote, it's in my saliva" says Quinn
"and you can prove that you and Nicole are immune, how can you tell" asks Zoëy
"last week Nicole and I played Tonsil hockey, three days ago during your game where Cat subbed in for Nicole on the cheer squad, I tested the theory, I refined Logan's tainted powder back to the original structure, without scents, I put some in her chocolate milk and she put some in my water, she drank her chocolate milk and as per the theory she passed out, I was unable to impose suggestions on her, she was simply passed out as if she'd spent hours cheering at your game, I shook her awake and then I drank my chocolate milk and she tried to impose suggestions, it didn't work on me either, a Canadian blood DNA analysis company with a Base in Sacramento confirmed that my DNA was altered in a way that protects me from being controlled by my own creation and that it was theoretically possible to transfer the 'antidote' via saliva" says Quinn
"so if we play tonsil hockey I won't be able to be controlled by Logan" asks Zoey somewhat warming up to the idea again
"since you were exposed to it before I can't be one hundred percent sure it will take but is it really a chance you want to take baby" says Quinn
"I suppose not" says Zoey leaning into Quinn kissing her
25 minutes later
"how long till we know if it took" asks Zoëy
"you enjoyed it, didn't you" giggles Nicole
"maybe a little, was it that obvious" asks Zoëy
"only to us, we should know in a few days how strong the immunity is, with Nicole I could see her muscles were trying to respond but she was able to overpower the suggestion, that company I mentioned, they're trying to isolate the altered DNA to create a vaccine, the chemical composition is part of the trial, meaning anyone with evil enough intentions could recreate it, also by my math Logan has enough powder to attack three girls with it, I got Dean Rivers to agree to xray all incoming packages with the machine I'm testing for the company that pays me, I can upload the information to it so it can flag any packages that are tainted, even a small amount can have the possibility to overpower kids like Lucy or Cat" says Quinn
"speaking of Cat, she hit Dustin and Paige hit me, we need to confront them, what they did wasn't right and was completely unprovoked" says Zoëy
"Zoë, Logan has an accomplice, intercepting packages, he targeted them because they're the only victims testifying in person, they inhaled, Andre and I had to intervene, we stopped their heart and restarted it after they flatlined for a few seconds, it was the only way, they've been under his control for a week, they're safe now but absolutely terrified" says Quinn
"how'd he issue a command unless he's here, you said it was impossible for him to issue commands unless he was here in person" asks Zoë
"the box with Cat's toy and Paige's blanket had a trigger, when the box opened after ten seconds a voice recording played, he wanted to have a mistrial declared, if us victims couldn't get along the jury might think we faked it all and just wanted to punish Logan for no reason, had he succeeded he would never be allowed to be tried on the charges again and he'd be a free man" says Quinn
"targeting Cat and Paige is risky because of Andre, why would he do it, I mean he's evil but it's not rational" asks Nicole
"because of the separate dorm rule, no boys in the girls dorm past curfew, he was placed in the same dorm as Chase and Michael, that's half a mile away, with classrooms in between us and them, even if he'd had advance warning he'd have never gotten here in time before Cat's curiosity got the better of her or decided Andre was busy and opened the package, Dean Rivers is now allowing Andre to be on this floor but in his own room, not optimal but better than being half a mile away, Cat's not known for having restraint when it comes to possibly dangerous situations, her curiosity almost always gets the better of her, by the way did you know that Paige was born one town over from where you grew up in Louisiana" says Quinn
"huh that kinda makes sense actually" says Zoë
"what do you mean that makes sense, I'm confused" says Nicole
"my mom told me about a legend once, if a baby is born with grey eyes they're an angel, if they have silver eyes they're a kid who died in a natural disaster that was brought back to life by God" says Zoë
"do you actually believe it" asks Quinn
"I don't know but I do remember hearing my aunt go nuts about having delivered a grey eyed girl around the time I was born, she retells that story every reunion, she says that girl was destined for a traumatic life if she didn't find a girl, that her eyes could calm even the most anxious person, does that sound like a dead ringer for Paige or what" says Zoë
"I mean her eyes do definitely calm Cat down but they make me nervous, sometimes she'll just stare off into space just like Cat as if they're the same person" says Nicole
"Paige and Cat's bond is special, they've been dating since they were ten, only with that phony arrest thing breaking them up" says Quinn
"I have a feeling that Paige let the cops fake evidence to get away from Logan, that she didn't care if it hurt Cat, as if staying at PCA would make her Logan's next drug and rape victim, remember… after Paige was arrested Logan more or less left Trisha alone, switching to the picture scheme like he did with the rest of us, as if torturing Paige was the real point to him making her video everything he did to Lucy and Trisha" says Zoë
"you know you might actually have a point, even under the influence of the powder her slapping you seemed half hearted, as if she could partially control her facial expressions, I saw fear and terror in her eyes, I didn't connect the dots, she must have a partial immunity to it" says Quinn
"do you think her and Cat will still testify" asks Nicole
"not if they're able to be controlled by Logan" says Quinn
"then I'll talk to them, Il tell them there's a cure, that they just have to make out with you to get it" says Zoë heading to the door
"not so fast Zoë, first of all they're in his dorm room down the hall having naked time, Cat's word for making out and sex, for another they're terrified of you, Dustin's your little brother, both you and Dustin were slapped by them while under his orders from that voice recording, because of how they were raised, Paige especially, as far as they understand you have the right to beat them to death and WILL do so if you talk to them, please just give them some time" says Quinn
"that's weird they're terrified yet calm enough to have sex" says Nicole
"you don't understand, they were under his influence for a week, that powder made them absolutely terrified of the consequences, they trust Andre will keep them safe so yeah they're calm enough for sex with him but if you entered the room they'd panic as if you entered with a baseball bat looking to kill them, it wouldn't matter what your intentions actually were, as far as they're concerned you have the right to kill them and they don't see a reason why you wouldn't, they're also terrified that he manipulated their feelings with powder and a voice recording" says Quinn
"what was on the recording anyway" asks Nicole
"whoever his accomplice is, is tech smart, the audio mostly corrupted itself all I could get from it was rape, and the names Lucy, Nicole and Quinn, I have a feeling he wanted Cat to molest Lucy, doing so would have absolutely destroyed any bond Cat and Lucy have as sisters and raping me and Nicole would have isolated you, likely for a powder attack of your own, he wants us disoriented and at odds with one another, if it weren't for Andre and Jade stepping in to stop it I'm absolutely certain he'd have succeeded" says Quinn
"I have to know, are Lucy and Dustin having sex, they're too young for that and I see the way Lucy dresses after school, she might as well be naked" asks Zoë

"he said that even though he thinks about it and DOES want to some day, he says doing so would be mean and make you sad, as if doing so would mean that all the training and information you gave him back home, swimming naked together in the pool at night was for nothing, that giving into his fantasy and imagination would mean he's no better than Logan, an evil brute with no sense of morality or self control, that last part about Logan being a brute with no sense of morality or self control is a direct quote from Dustin" says Quinn as Zoë calms down
"you don't believe Lucy but you believe Dustin" asks Nicole
"Lucy dresses in a manner that says 'Dustin, please have sex with me', yes I trust Dustin, back home in the pool he had no self control, he'd touch me every time, asking what the body parts were called even though him and I both knew he was smart enough to know the names and just wanted to feel what they felt like, finally I told him no, that if he ever did this to a girl he liked without their explicit permission that I'd rat him out to mom and dad in a heartbeat if I found out, that said I continued to let him touch me in the pool, I let him examine my body, the only strict firm rule I had was 'no pushing your fingers inside my special place, only touch the outside', I made sure that he knew I was saving that part of me for my 'special someone', that every uncorrupted girl who respects and loves their body is waiting for their special someone, that consent is extremely important, so when he says he hasn't done something with a girl, especially one as beautiful as Lucy, he means it" says Zoë

"what did your sex Ed teacher leave out" asks Quinn, curious about the education system in Louisiana
"the teacher said guys were capable of consent but that's where the consent talk ended, not a single mention of a girls right to grand or deny consenting to activities, as the big sister I felt it was my duty to help him understand rules, boundaries and most importantly that a girl has the right to consent" says Zoë
"Dustin is following your teaching, in fact he's going above and beyond" says Quinn
"I don't understand what you mean" asks Zoë, yet again confused
"they're Lucy's clothes but Dustin had them altered" says Quinn
"wait a second, you're saying DUSTIN is making Lucy dress like that, a jury will never believe a word she says if she dresses like that for the pre-recorded trial video question answer thing" asks Zoë, beginning to feel angry
"you have to understand where Lucy's coming from Zoë, while under the influence of the salts he conditioned Lucy to believe that she's only worth as much as he can sell her for, he had posters on his ceiling that said 'Lucy Valentine for sale, max bid one dollar', he made her stare at it for hours after he was done using her body for the day, Logan made her believe she was worth a single dollar to any guy, as in she isn't worth loving if it costs more than a dollar to make her happy" says Quinn
"he's asked for a grand in just the past week, are you actually saying that him spending that much every week is a GOOD THING, I'm not seeing any significant changes in her outfits to warrant letting him borrow my money at that level, I have need for my money too" says Zoë
"you don't understand Zoë, she has seriously terrifying nightmares, what my therapist back in the psych war would call level ten nightmares, do you know what that means" says Quinn
"no…. Wait you were in a psych ward" asks Zoë
"yes, anyway a level ten nightmare means from nightmare right into a panic attack, you have to understand that these dorm rooms are more or less identical to Logan's dorm room, same layout, same type of window, same type of carpet, even the same type of bed, the first thing Dustin did was get a new bed, since then he's bought many comfort items that make it more readily obvious that she is indeed not back in Logan's room, it has helped significantly reduce the severity of Lucy's panic attacks, he only just got approval from Dean Rivers yesterday to paint the dorm room on the condition that they paint it back to the original color if they ever switch dorms, he's using the latest ask to pay Chase to paint the room and Michael to move things around while painting" says Quinn
"I could have paid them, why didn't he ask" asks Zoë
"he wanted to prove he could do it on his own, he applied to be a product tester like me, given that Lucy's a little, mostly because of the trauma she's suffered over her life, the company he inquired to readily agreed to his tester application, starting Monday he makes fifty dollars per toy he tests, added on is a bonus of five hundred dollars if Lucy likes the little oriented toys they're also sending every week" says Quinn
"why so much for the little oriented toys…. Also how does one find out if they're a little" asks Nicole
