Bose's POV

My mom decided to have dinner really early today so that we could discuss the state of my life as Brainstorm. Right now, we're all stuffed and in the living room.

Mom: Well Bose, your stepfather and I have made a final decision. We had a long talk last night and this morning.

Stepdad: We talked about the pros and cons and we can definitely see that there are in fact cons, but not as many as there are pros.

Mom: So you can return to Danger Force.

YES! I instantly wrap my arms around my mom.

Me: Thank you so much!

Mom: You're welcome, but don't kidnap me again.

Me: Don't worry, I won't!

I rush out the door, but as soon as I get out, I realized how much of a dumpster fire Swellview turned into. Sirens were screaming, fire trucks were speeding, hornets, wasps and mosquitoes were buzzing...it was bad.

Stepdad: Yeah, this was one of the reasons why I decided to let you go back. I hope the other parents let their kids go back too.

Me: Believe me, I hope so too.

I rushed to the Man's Nest.

4:25pm; Man's Nest

Ray's POV

Day 2 without my sidekicks and my ass has been getting kicked left and right. It's making me realize how much I actually needed them. I always knew that aunts were a problem. Yesterday, there were actually 5 villains at the glass factory and they were armed. I was blasted away by them. Ever since Danger Force was formed, the villains decided they would start working together to defeat us. Either that, or they hired goons to come out of nowhere to take me down. Yesterday, I had 20 emergency calls and I only succeeded once. Today I had 15 calls so far. Neither of them were successful, but what I really didn't like was that the one success I had yesterday turned into a failure today since they escaped prison. One of those was the Beekeeper releasing Wasps, Hornets and Mosquitoes all over Swellview, but I'm too tired for that shit. Right now, I'm watching "Genuine Moments" to clear my mind. I decided to change out of my Captain Man suit considering it was in pretty bad condition. Schwoz then came up with Bose's SWAG chair. Wait, SWAG chair? I thought SWAG was destroyed!

Schwoz: And now you see why telling Trent and Mary was a bad idea.

Me: Ugggghhhhh! Not right now Schwoz! Don't you have something that you need to do?

Schwoz: Well, I fixed SWAG and I'm in the middle of rebuilding the memory wiper.

Me: So that I can get my sidekicks back?

Schwoz: If all goes wrong with their parents, then yes. I'm also building more rooms like Drex's cell, but they'll be more advanced.

???: Yo Ray! You got my gum?

Schwoz and I turn around. IT'S BOSE!

Me and Schwoz: Bose! Welcome back!

Bose: Good to be back!

Schwoz tosses Bose his gum and he instantly blows a bubble.

Schwoz: Hey, you have any word on the others?

Brainstorm: No, but I'm about to call Mika and tell her the great news!

He pulls out his phone and calls Mika.

Mika's Room

Mika's POV

Still no word from my parents. Ever since I blew up at Aunt Dede, we didn't talk about me or Miles going back to Danger Force, so I'm close to accepting defeat. Speaking of the Devil, she's here. Not in my room, but downstairs with my parents. I wouldn't be surprised if she was talking shit about us and I don't want anything to do with her. Not since she got me, Chapa, my brother, and my crush out of Danger Force. My phone rings, and after I saw who it was, despite not being in the best mood, my heart still warmed up. I answered it almost instantly, but my tone does not sound the way I want it to sound right now.

Me: [distressfully] Hey Bose.

My mood suddenly changed when I saw that Bose was wearing his mask.

Brainstorm: Hey Mi- Hey, are you okay?

Me: [excitedly] You're back!

Brainstorm: Yup! My mom and stepdad came to an agreement and now I can help relieve this dumpster fire of a city.

Me: Wait, what?

I looked out my window and he wasn't kidding. It looked horrendous out there.

Me: [in shock] Woah!

Brainstorm: Yeah, that bad. Anyways, I can tell something's bothering you. What's going on?

I sigh and get ready to tell him, but I heard my mom knocking on my door, but it was surprisingly lighter than normal.

Me: [quickly] Gotta go! Love you! Bye!

I hang up and then realized what I had just said. I started to freak out on the inside...no way i just said that.

Mom: [calmly] Mika, can I come in?

Me: [very anxiously] Is it just you?

Miles: Just me and her, sis. Aunt Dede is helping Dad out with dinner right now.

Me: Okay...come in.

Mom and Miles came in.

Mom: [calmly] Don't worry Mika. I'm not mad at you, but if I may ask, who was that you were talking to?

I got so nervous and anxious, I didn't know what to do, so I just said the truth...

Me: Bose.

I was prepared for the worst: my mom was going to slap me, drag me by my wrist, and take me to the lab. She was going to watch me get tested on as I cry out in pain while she says, "WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT TALKING TO BOYS!"

Or so i thought that was going to happen. My mom actually hugged me and said: Don't worry honey, it's okay. At first I wasn't a fan of it, but once your Dad told me about him, I became okay with it. You two can date if you want to. Just promise me that you won't hurt each other, okay?

I can't believe it; she's okay with it! But is Bose okay with it?

Me: I promise. Actually, I don't even know if he loves me back. I just told him under pressure, and now I don't know what he's gonna say or how he's gonna react, or...

Suddenly I get a text from Bose. It says:

Mika, even though you said it faster than I can comprehend, I still picked up on a part of it. And I would like to say...I love you too! I wouldn't want to date any other girl, not even Glerp or Lilith. Of course, Lilith was a villain and I told Glerp that she was all I ever wanted, but the truth is, you're the only girl I love. I don't ever want to lose you, and I hope she accepts us as a couple.

YES! YES! YEEEEEEEEES! I jumped out of pure joy.

Miles: What happened?

I showed Miles the text Bose sent me. He put a smile on his face.

Miles: Glad it's him sis.

He goes to hug me and I accepted it.

Mom: He does?

Me: Yes!

Mom: Yay! I'm sorry for being harsh on you two two days ago.

Me: It's okay. And thanks for accepting us as a couple.

Mom: That's not something you need to thank me for.

Miles: So what about Danger Force?

My mood didn't go completely down, but my face did fall to realization.

Mom: We'll talk about that at dinner.

Me and Miles: Okay.

They left my room. I texted Bose telling him that I was happy that we are a couple now and that I'm getting word tonight on whether or not Miles and I are back. I told him that i didn't know so that he wouldn't get too excited in case if they said no.

Brainstorm's POV

So she doesn't know if she's able to go back to Danger Force? If Mika doesn't know something, it usually doesn't end well, so I ran away.

Schwoz's POV

Me and Ray: BOSE!

He's gone.

Ray: What happened?

???: My guess is that he and Mika are a couple now and she can't return to Danger Force.

Wait a second...that voice sounds familiar.

Ray: What the- Who are you? WHERE are you?

???: Just a friend of the force fielded man you know as Henry Hart. The name's Teddy Jak.

So that's why his voice sounded familiar.

Schwoz: So what's the word on everyone?

Teddy appears and Ray was startled.

Teddy: Well, I thought Angela was starting to regret taking Mika and Miles out of Danger Force, but judging by Bose's reaction, I guess she doesn't want to send them back. [He puts a gumball in his mouth.] Chapa doesn't mind being with her family, so in my opinion, she's gonna be the hardest to get.

Ray: So I'm gonna have to kick their doors down and force them out.

Teddy: Absolutely not. That just gives the parents another reason to keep their kids away from you.

Ray: Well then what do you have, tough guy?

Teddy: Plans that will actually go smoothly. Not everything has to be solved by kicking down a door.

Ray: I beg to differ.

Teddy: Of course you do. No matter how hard you beg, you're not always going to get things done your way. [He blows a bubble that changed him into a black and orange super suit.] Now if you'll excuse me, I have to rehearse what I'm going to say and do. TJ Double-Dubs out. [He leaves.]

Ray: Schwoz, make me a bunch of doors.

Me: Seriously?
