The Entrance of Duke E. Dawgs, 7:30pm
Bose's POV
So let me recap the last 3 hours:
First off, big mistake going out as Brainstorm. Even though I was able to take on 15 criminals, there was still my fanclub full of girls swarming me. I tried to tell them that I was taken, but they wouldn't listen. They covered my face with kisses, but thankfully none of them were on my lips. They are Mika's for the taking assuming that she finds me. Of course, I turned my tracker off because I don't want Ray and Schwoz to comfort me; I just want Mika. As soon as I got to Duke E. Dawgs, which, mind you, took me ONE HOUR, ALL BECAUSE OF THE CRIMINALS AND THE PAPARAZZI, I went to the bathroom, changed back to Bose, wiped the kisses off of my face, found some money in my pocket, decided to pay some games in there and tried to take in the fun I was trying to have, but there were 3 reasons why I wasn't able to take it in:
1) I felt like I was too old for this stuff.
2) Flashbacks of me trying to use Chapa's phone to facetime a puppy kept entering my mind when I looked at the ball pit.
3) Mika. Not only would her mom not be okay with us dating, but she probably wouldn't let her go back to Danger Force. Anytime I wasn't looking at the ball pit I was thinking about Mika.
So after 1.5 hours of playing games, I just sat outside crying in my arms wishing that Mika was here with me. Let alone just being with me. I couldn't care where, but I knew it couldn't be at her house. I eventually ran out of tears after 25 minutes. I was about to get up and run somewhere else after 5 minutes until...
???: BOOOOOOOSEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hoping for who I thought it was, I looked up. It was Mika! And she was in her super suit! YES! But she was crying as she leaped onto me almost knocking me down, but I caught her and she wrapped her arms and legs around me.
Shoutout: [still crying] I DON'T WANT YOU TO RUN AWAY LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!
Me: Don't worry Mika. I won't.
Okay, so I thought I ran out of tears, but apparently I still had some. We cried into the hug a little longer. After we were done crying, we wiped our tears off of each other, but we still held on to each other as we pressed our foreheads together.
Shoutout: I'm just glad you're safe.
Me: Thanks Honey. So you're back?
Shoutout: Not only that, but I forgot to tell you that my mom is okay with us dating!
YES! I didn't hesitate one bit. I finally kissed Mika's soft lips and she kissed me back almost instantly. If I told you that I loved this moment, then that's an understatement. Words cannot describe how happy I am right now. We pull away from the kiss after one minute.
Me: I love you Mimi.
Shoutout: I love you too Boo.
We put our heads over each other's shoulders taking this moment in. I may not have been able to take in the fun I was trying to have in there no matter how hard I tried, but this? It filled me up with happiness I never knew I could feel.
???: It's about damn time!
???: Seriously Chapa?
Mika and I instantly pull away from each other. Turns out Chapa and Drex were watching us the whole time. Wait...DREX?!
Me: [to Drex] What are you doing here?
Drex: I came with Mika to find you.
Me: Oh...
Drex: I get it. You're used to me being a villain. But don't worry, I'm not one anymore.
Me: So are you joining us?
Drex: I want to, but then there's Ray.
Shoutout: Yeah, I don't think he'll accept it, but I personally wouldn't mind it.
Volt: Same.
Mika got her phone out to call Miles.
AWOL's POV
Ray and I are lost. He's been showing me merchandise of him in stores and telling me about the cheap knockoffs other people made. Not to mention Captain Man Stadium and the 12 streets named after him. But on the bright side, we took 15 criminals to jail.
Me: Can't we just go home?
Captain Man: No! You know how your sister is!
I groan. Not because I couldn't go home, but because of the way Ray is talking about my sister.
Captain Man: Wait, you could've just teleported us to Bose and we'd be done by now!
Me: My powers don't work like that!
Captain Man: Then how'd you get to Chapa's house?
Me: Have you forgotten that I missed the evidence room a bunch of times?
Captain Man: You're right, so we wouldn't even be in this situation if you actually teleported to the right place the first time!
Me: YOU THINK IT'S THAT EASY?!
We argue for another 30 seconds until my phone rings. I check the caller ID and it's Mika. I answer.
Me: Hey Mika, whatcha got?
Shoutout: Well, Chapa's back, we took down 25 criminals, and we found Bose!
Nice!
Me: Good stuff! Where are you?
Shoutout: The entrance of Duke E. Dawgs.
Me: Got it.
I teleport Ray and I there. To my surprise, Chapa instantly hugs me. After I got out of my shocked state, I hug her back.
Captain Man: Oh, so now all of a sudden it works!
Me: Can you shut up?
After we break up the hug, Chapa zapped Ray for a solid 15 seconds. None of us yelled at her for it.
???: Chapa and Miles together at last?
That voice sounds familiar. Also, hopefully.
Teddy's POV
I had just finished repairing everything in Swellview. The stores, the restaurants, Swellview Prison, Swellview Junior High...all of it. Even the merchandise looked good as new. I appear in front of everyone since I was invisible. I didn't want them to think that there was another hero in Swellview, but it looks like Drex already has that title covered.
Shoutout: Oh hey Teddy!
Volt: Uhhhhhhhh, no. I was just...comforting him.
Me: [sarcastically] Right.
Drex: So you're the Teddy guy Sparky was talking about.
Me: Yup.
I decided to teleport us to the Man's Nest. Miles looked confused for a second.
Me: Don't worry Miles. I teleported us here. You're not broken.
AWOL: Oh, that makes sense.
Everyone that was in superhero form changed back. Schwoz also came through the door.
Schwoz: So I take it everyone's back for real this time?
Mika, Miles, Bose and Chapa: Yes.
Schwoz: Then welcome back! [He pulls out the memory wiper.] So do I need to wipe anyone's memories?
Me: No. Their parents all came to terms with them being in Danger Force. The only one who needs their memory erased is Officer Walnut, but she's in jail right now.
Schwoz: So did you have to kick and doors and go "DING DONG! I NEED YOUR CHILD!"?
Me: Absolutely not.
Ray: Boo!
I'm just gonna ignore that...
Me: [to Schwoz] Anyway, I didn't have to do anything with Bose since his parents already accepted it.
Bose suddenly turned to me in shock.
Bose: How do you know my name? Are you an alien? Is the alien invasion beginning? WHAT'S GOING ON!
Bose freaks out even more, but Mika kissed him on his cheek and that calmed him down. You love to see it.
Bose: Thanks babe.
Mika: You're welcome. [giggles angelically]
Ray: Oh great, am I gonna have to deal with all that sweet talk?
Me: Says the mom whisperer. [to Bose] Weren't you in love with an alien at one point?
Bose: Oh yeah. Wait, HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?!
Me: I went to the 4th Wall Industry to see what you guys have done. Also, Henry told me about you guys. [Bose calmed down. I turn to Schwoz.] Anyway, it turns out Angela did regret taking them [pointing at Mika and Miles] out of Danger Force. I had to convince Alejandra that not everyone and everything is perfect no matter how hard you try. She then realized that and decided to let Chapa sta- [I look over at Ray, and to say that I was disgusted was an understatement. I facepalmed myself.] Okay, chill dude. They're already married.
The kids look at Ray and yell at him in disgust.
Ray: What? All this mom talk is making me thirsty!
Drex: Then keep your liq- Oh. I see you haven't changed on the topic of moms.
Ray: Shut up Drex!
He goes to slap him, but before he could, I used my telekinesis to slam Ray against the wall.
Ray: BOSE! Come on man!
Me: Actually, that was me.
Drex: What the... How many powers do you have?
Me: A shit load of them.
Drex: Oh.
Schwoz: So you just had to get Chapa back?
Me: Yes. And honestly, it wasn't as hard as i thought it was going to be. Only her mom... [I turn to Ray] DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE! [I turn back to Schwoz] ...knew about Chapa being Volt, so all I had to do was convince her that Chapa being in Danger Force wasn't a bad thing. She wanted a perfect family, so I had to convince her that no one was perfect.
Ray: Uh, hello? I'm here.
Me: Oh hell naw old man. You're FAR from perfect.
Drex and Danger Force let out a loud chuckle.
Schwoz: You do realize he's gonna try to...
Ray runs over to me to tackle me, but I was already floating anyway. I flew up even more so that he couldnt even get my legs. Everyone else laughed at him.
Miles: Too old to jump?
Chapa: I think he is, baby.
Chapa's POV
Oh shit.
Mika: He couldn't even-
Miles, Mika and Drex: [to me] Wait, what?
Teddy: Schwoz, get the popcorn ready.
Schwoz: On it!
He went to go make popcorn. Miles and I stood there awkwardly for a minute until...
Ray: I'm not old!
Bose: Uh, Ray? I can see your gray hair through you hair dye.
Teddy and Drex couldn't contain themselves. Teddy flew and Drex walked to the Man Couch, sat on it and died of laughter.
Teddy: YO! I FORGOT HE NEEDED HAIR DYE!
We all watched them...well, all of us except for Miles, who I noticed was looking at me.
Ray: DON'T LOOK AT ME!
He takes Mika's chair down to SWAG. He probably went to put more hair dye on. Mika and Bose go to Teddy and Drex to calm them down. I guess this is where Miles talks to me.
Miles: Chapa...you don't have to hide your feelings.
Yup. Figured.
Me: I know. I just don't like to be seen as this emotional girl.
Miles: I get it. I try to keep my cool most of the time too, but sometimes you gotta let it out. It's not good to keep all of your emotions in. You gotta let out a variety of them to show that you're not just some-
I wanted to shut him up, so I kissed him; probably not the best way to say shut up, but he was right. After 5 seconds of shock, he kisses me back. The laughter going on in the background was nothing but a blur to us. I didn't think that I'd actually do this, but I'm glad I did. We pull away after 45 seconds. We hear nothing as we stare deep into each others eyes, my hands going down his arms and now holding his hands. Oh who am I kidding? Of course it was the best way to shut him up.
Me: You're right. I guess I actually feel good like this.
We smiled.
Teddy: Oh what, did I miss it?
Me: Yeah.
Drex: I can't stop anyone from making moments weird, can I?
Mika: At least you tried.
Bose: Well, not this time.
Me: It's fine. I deserved it.
Teddy: Next thing you know, Mika's gonna see me get into a relationship and then she calls it even.
Miles: I'll teleport her.
Teddy: [sarcastically] Gee, thanks.
Schwoz comes back in with a very large bag of popcorn.
Schwoz: Alright, let's get this show on the road!
Teddy: Too late Schwoz. They already did it.
Schwoz: Oh...
Teddy: Maybe we can watch a show or something? Maybe watch Genuine Moments to celebrate the couples in here?
Drex: Good enough for me!
Ray comes back up from SWAG with hair dye on his forehead.
Ray: [unamused] Oh, you're still here?
I couldn't tell if he was talking about Teddy or Drex, but I guess it didn't really matter since they looked at each other and nodded. Teddy teleported to get a dolly cart, a long rope and duct tape. He tossed the rope and duct tape to Drex, teleported Ray on the cart, got the rope from Drex and started tying Ray up. Afterwards, Drex put tape over his mouth and tied him up with what was left. The rest of us laughed out asses off while they did it. Ray was trying to speak, but the duct tape had other plans.
Teddy: There we go. Now let's watch some genuine moments!
We all sat... Actually, I take that back. Teddy floated behind the Man Couch. The rest of us sat like this:
On one side, you have Schwoz in the back and me cuddling with Miles. On the other side, you have Drex in the back and Mika cuddling with Bose.
Drex: Oh, and Mika?
Mika: Yes?
Drex: Thanks for giving me a chance to be good again.
Mika: You're welcome.
Teddy's POV
3 hours later
Me: ...and that's what happened.
I had just gotten back to Dystopia after watching 2 and a half straight hours of Genuine Moments. I told Henry, Charlotte and Jasper about my time up at Swellview, especially the dolly cart story and the new relationships.
Me: Needless to say, it went gooooood.
Henry: Ah, you.
Charlotte: I still can't get over the fact that Bose was the one that had Chapa's phone.
Jasper: Yeah, and for 8 years.
Oh, I also told them that story.
Me: And I also learned that Bose and Mika did the same thing that you two [pointing at Henry and Charlotte] did.
Jasper: Wait, you two DID kiss!
Henry and Charlotte: Ewwwwwww! Hey!
Me: Actually, they did that, but only to cover their crushes on each other up. Of course, I scanned those two, and I can confirm they are not in love with each other, but they're pretty much like brother and sister.
Jasper: Oh.
Henry: Want some ramen?
Me: Nah, I'm good. Im too tired honestly. It was a miracle I was able to get the stories out of my system. Goodnight y'all.
Henry, Charlotte and Jasper: Goodnight!
I go to bed. Who would've thought that it would've been more than just convincing and taking? Of course, I didn't have to use brute force or my own memory wiper, which I can do at anytime, but Danger Force couples? Rebuilding buildings? Watching a show? Messing with Ray? A shit ton of laughter? I see why Henry likes to go up there. Maybe I can see them again. I kinda want to humble Ray again.
